Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mendapatkan informasi aktual dan faktual tentang peranan Hizbul Wathan (HW) dalam membentuk semangat nasionalisme siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto. Proses penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Penelitian ini dilakukan di organisasi kepanduan HW SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto, yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah Pembina, pengurus dan anggota HW.Temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; 1) Pengurus dan anggota kepanduan HW belum memiliki pemahaman yang utuh terhadap konsep nasionalisme, namun secara implisit dalam menjalankan organisasi para pengurus dan anggota sebenarnya telah menunjukkan benih-benihpraktek semangat nasionalisme dalam setiap perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan. Juga diperkuat melalui Pembelajaran PKn dan IPS yang dilaksanakan memberikan kontribusi yang cukup besar dalam membentuk rasa nasionalisme siswa di sekolah yang ditandai dengan arah pencapaian keberhasilan belajar yang tidak hanya melihat aspek kognitif saja, namun dititikberatkan pula pada aspek afektif dan psikomotor yang bermuatan nilainilai kebangsaan dan rasa nasionalisme. 2) Memperkuat organisasi dengan pondasi semangatnasionalisme yang dilandasi oleh ideologi negara dan nilai-nilai Muhammadiyah. Melalui komitmen organisasi yang kuat, maka semangat nasionalisme akan mengalir dalam diri anggota kepanduan HW. 3) Praktik semangat nasionalisme dalam kegiatan kepanduan HW di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto diwujudkan melalui penghormatan kepada bendera, tidak menyebarkan berita hoax dan tidak terlibat kegiatan yang bersifat negatif. Pemilihan metode bervariatif yang dilakukan Pembina HW, guru PKn dan guru IPS, didukung dengan kegiatan upacara bendera, kompetisi olahraga serta acara kesenian daerah merupakan bentuk rangsangan dalam mengembangkan nilai-nilai kebangsaan dan rasa nasionalisme dalam diri siswa.

Abstract

Background. The research problem is that there was a post-village election conflict in Batujala Village, Bontoramba District, Jeneponto Regency. The aim of the research is to analyze the conflict resolution that was carried out after the election of the village head in Jeneponto Regency. Research methods. This research uses mixed qualitative and quantitative research methods, namely mixed methods concurrent embedded, simultaneously or together but with different weights. Analysis of research data using qualitative data analysis and quantitative data. For qualitative through data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions, while for quantitative data through questionnaire verification, tabulation of questionnaire data and the percentage of questionnaire data. Research result. Conflict resolution after the village head election in Jeneponto Regency was carried out in several ways, namely dominating (emphasizing) assisted by the police, making integrative efforts (together) by summoning the two conflicting parties and compromising to get an agreement between the two conflicting parties. Post-election village head conflicts can be resolved through dominance, integrative and compromise conflict resolution.

Abstract

Language serves as a crucial tool for human thinking and interaction. The presence of the Indonesian language holds its own authentic value and uniqueness in Indonesia. However, within the realm of education, Indonesian language is often considered a challenging subject to learn. The aim of this research is to enhance the learning achievement of third-grade students in Theme 1 of the Indonesian Language subject, specifically focusing on the topic of growth and development of living beings, through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model aided by the Pa Cimakh learning media. This study falls under the category of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects comprised 29 third-grade students. Learning achievement data were collected through multiple-choice written tests and subsequently analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the research demonstrate notable improvements in learning achievement in each cycle. The attainment percentage for learning achievement in the first cycle was 34.48% with an average score of 64.14, in the second cycle it was 58.62% with an average score of 58.62, and in the third cycle, it reached 82.75% with an average score of 85.17. These findings substantiate that the application of the Problem-Based Learning model with the assistance of the Pa Cimakh learning media can effectively enhance learning achievement in Theme 1, Growth and Development of Living Beings, within the Indonesian Language subject in the third-grade class of SD N 2 Sumampir

Abstract

This study aims to develop e-puzzle learning media for the "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" topic and to assess the feasibility of using this e-puzzle learning media to shape the profile of Pancasila students in grade X at MAN 1 Banyumas. The research method used in this study is Research and Development (RnD) with the Borg and Gall development model. The sample consists of class X-13. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, pretests, and post-tests. Data analysis includes validation analysis, practicality analysis, and effectiveness analysis of the media. Based on the research, the development of e-puzzle learning media for the "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" topic to shape the profile of Pancasila students is deemed suitable for use as a learning media. This is demonstrated by increased knowledge acquisition, with an average pretest score of 62.2% and an average post-test score of 88.4%. The validity and practicality test results have an overall average of 83.81%, indicating a highly feasible category. The effectiveness test also yielded a 100% learning achievement rate, categorized as highly effective. The calculation of N-gain indicates an increase in learning outcomes, with a score of 0.70, categorized as high.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in developing critical thinking skills on the "Youth Pledge." The method employed in this study is a quasi-experiment with a non- equivalent control group design. The sample consists of Grade VIII A as the experimental group (n=30) and Grade VIII C as the control group (n=30). The data collection techniques include questionnaires,  observations, and documentation analysis, which were analyzed using alternative paired sample test and independent sample t-test with results of 0.000 0.05, indicating that the Problem-Based Learning model effectively cultivates critical thinking skills among students. This is supported by the results of the n-gain present test, which yielded a score of 61.81% for the experimental group and 34.31% for the control group. The effect size test yielded a value of 2.61, falling into the category of high influence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the project-based learning model affects improving students' civic skills concerning the maintenance of national diversity through digital literacy among eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Tonjong. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of eighth graders A as the control group (n=32) and eighth graders B as the experimental group (n=32). Data collection techniques included surveys/questionnaires, tests, and documentation, analyzed using paired sample tests and independent sample t-tests, with a result of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, indicating a significant effect of the project-based learning model on enhancing students' civic skills regarding the maintenance of national diversity through digital literacy. This is evidenced by the difference between the experimental and control groups, with the experimental group demonstrating 94% intellectual skills and 82% participatory skills, compared to 70% and 68.7%, respectively, in the control group. These results suggest that the project-based learning model is effective in improving students' civic skills in this context.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the discovery learning model assisted by Canva media in enhancing students’ critical thinking skill on preserving my nation’s culture at SMP negeri 3 Purbalingga. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of class VIII A as the experimental class (n=32) and VIII B as the control class (n=32). Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires, observation, and documentation, which were analyzed using paired sample tests and independent sample t-tests, yielding results of 0.000 0.05, indicating that the discovery learning model assisted by Canva media significantly enhances students' critical thinking skills. The experimental class showed an 81% improvement, while the control class showed a 75% improvement. This improvement was evidenced by the students' increased abilities in providing basic explanations, building basic skills, drawing conclusions, providing further explanations, using strategies or tactics, demonstrating curiosity, analyzing arguments, and solving problems with accurate sources.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effects of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project on the mutual cooperative attitude of students at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. The research method used in this study is descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach. The population in this study consists of seventh and eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. The sample size is 237 students, determined using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques employed in this study include questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate a positive and significant impact of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project on the mutual cooperative attitude of students at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. The influence of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project on students' mutual cooperative attitudes is measured at 0.376, which can be interpreted as the independent variable (X) - the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project - contributing 37.6% to the dependent variable (Y) mutual cooperative attitude. This can be seen in the students' mindset, which fosters collaboration and teamwork, social sensitivity and concern, and a sharing attitude.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which the Jigsaw cooperative learning model, assisted by the Wordwall application, affects the formation of citizenship competence in the subject of the Youth Pledge within the framework of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. The research method used quasi-experimental with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample includes Grade VIII A as the control group (n=35) and Grade VIII B as the experimental group (n=35). Data collection techniques included tests, questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation, analyzed using the Paired Sample Test and Independent Sample T-Test with a significance level of 5%, resulting in 0.000 0.05, indicating that the Jigsaw cooperative learning model assisted by the Wordwall application is effective in developing students' citizenship competence. The results show a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. Citizenship knowledge improved to 86% in the experimental group compared to 76% in the control group, citizenship skills to 86% compared to 76%, and citizenship attitudes or character to 79% compared to 64%. The Effect Size test result was 2.166, categorized as a high effect. This is evidenced by the study's findings that the Jigsaw cooperative learning model assisted by the Wordwall application significantly affects students' citizenship competence in the subject of the Youth Pledge within the framework of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika at SMP Muhammadiyah Bumiayu.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent of the effect of the social media platform TikTok on civic disposition. The research employs a descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach. The sample consists of students from MAN 2 Banyumas (n=193). Data collection techniques include questionnaires, literature review, documentation, observation, and interviews. The study's findings reveal that TikTok significantly affects students' civic disposition, with a significance value of 0.000 (p 0.05), indicating a moderate effect size of 0.521%. This is evidenced by the research findings highlighting suboptimal student discipline, weak responsibility in task submission, and inconsistent adherence to school rules among the students.
