Abstract

Lack of good dribbling skills will affect soccer match victory. The researchers aimed to determine the relationship between eye-foot coordination, leg muscle strength, agility, and the dribbling skills of 20 Football School (SSB) players. Research data were collected using the eye-foot coordination test, leg muscle strength test, mobility test, and dribbling skill test. The data was analyzed using the product-moment correlation and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed a significant relationship between the eye-foot coordination and dribbling skills of SSB players. Also, there was a substantial relationship between leg muscle strength and dribbling skills of SSB players. Furthermore, there was a significant relationship between agility and dribbling skills of SSB players. Lastly, SSB players had a significant relationship between eye-foot coordination, leg muscle strength, agility, and dribbling skills. This study concludes that good dribbling skills become the basic requirement for soccer players.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas tendangan lingkar dalam pada cabang olahraga Tarung Derajat putri kelas 58,1-62 kg melalui analisis video pertandingan Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) Aceh 2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik observasi tidak langsung menggunakan analisis video pertandingan. Subjek penelitian adalah atlet Tarung Derajat putri yang bertanding pada babak semifinal dan final PON Aceh 2024 pada kelas 58,1-62 kg. Data dikumpulkan dengan mengamati frekuensi penggunaan tendangan lingkar dalam, perolehan poin, serta sasaran tendangan, kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa atlet dengan frekuensi tendangan lingkar dalam yang lebih tinggi memperoleh perolehan poin yang lebih besar dan mampu mendominasi jalannya pertandingan. Tendangan lingkar dalam terbukti efektif sebagai teknik serangan utama, khususnya Ketika diarahkan kesasaran badan yang memiliki Tingkat keberhasilan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan sasaran kepala. Meskipun sasaran kepala menghasilkan poin yang lebih besar ,tinggi resikonya menyebabkan frekuensi penggunaannya lebih rendah. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas tendangan lingkar dalam dipengaruhi oleh jumlah tendangan, ketepatan sasaran, dan konsistensi pelaksanaan teknik, sehingga teknik ini layak dijadikan focus utama dalam strategi bertanding dan program latihan atlet Tarung Derajat

Abstract

The physical fitness of Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob) personnel is a crucial factor supporting operational readiness in carrying out demanding tasks such as counterterrorism and crowd control. However, the physical fitness level of young Brimob personnel at the Headquarters of Battalion C Pelopor of the Central Java Regional Police, as measured by the 12-minute run fitness test standard A, has not yet been empirically determined. This study aims to analyze the physical fitness levels of these personnel. The method used is quantitative descriptive analysis employing a survey technique via the 12-minute run test. The sample consisted of 20 male adolescent personnel selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, and frequency percentages). The results showed an average distance covered of 2,662 meters, with a maximum of 2,970 meters and a minimum of 2,350 meters. A total of 70% of the personnel fell into the “Good” category, 25% into the “Very Good” category, and only 5% into the ‘Fair’ category. In conclusion, the physical fitness level of the Brimob youth personnel is classified as good; however, there are still variations in ability that require individualized training programs and routine evaluations to improve personnel performance toward the “Excellent” category.

Abstract

This study examines the role of rafting activities as an experiential learning medium in fostering team cohesion among Physical Education students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The research employed a quantitative descriptive design involving 81 students from the 2022 cohort who participated in rafting activities at the Upper Progo River, Magelang, Indonesia, in 2025. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire based on the Group Environment Questionnaire (GEQ), measuring task cohesion and social cohesion dimensions. Descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis were applied to analyze the data. The results indicate that the overall level of team cohesion was categorized as very high, with mean scores ranging from 4.31 to 4.72 on a five-point Likert scale. A total of 77.3% of respondents fell into the very high category, while 22.7% were classified as high, with no respondents in the moderate or lower categories. Correlation analysis revealed significant positive relationships among GEQ indicators, ranging from weak to very strong (r = 0.19–0.77, p < 0.05), demonstrating a strong interconnection between task cohesion and social cohesion. These findings suggest that rafting activities create a structured experiential environment that enhances communication, trust, coordination, and social bonding within student groups.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani di sekolah memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk sikap, motivasi, dan kesadaran siswa terhadap aktivitas fisik. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya masih ditemukan perbedaan persepsi siswa terhadap strategi yang diterapkan guru.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap strategi guru dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Subjek penelitian adalah 40 siswa sekolah menengah keatas,dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang telah di uji validitas dan rebilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perencanaan pembelajaran guru tergolong pada kategori sedang,dengan capaian 59,74%. Analisis terhadap perencanaan pembelajaran 69,12%, analisis Pemberian motivasi 69%, analisis pengelolaan kelas 51,25%, analisis minat siswa 59,87%, analisis kegigihan siswa 55,5%, analisis kesadaran pentingnya penjas 53,75%. Dapat disimpulkan bahswa strategi guru dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani perlu terus ditingkatkan melalui penerapan metode yang lebih variatif, dan pemberian motivasi yang berkelanjutan agar persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran menjadi lebih positif.
