Abstract

Having good communication skills can make someone easily accepted in an organization and will get a positive response in the communication that has been built. The purpose of this study was to see if there is a significant influence between Student Engagement and Student Communication Skills. The research method used is a quantitative research method. Data were collected through a google form using a Likert scale of 1-5 from 62 respondents from the Dharmaduta Department Student Association of the Raden Wijaya State Buddhist College which will later be tested for validity, reliability, and hypothesis influence. The results of the study using a simple linear regression test showed a significant value (Sig.) for student engagement (X) of 0.000 and R Square of 0.409, a significant value <0.05 so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that student engagement has a significant effect on communication skills. Based on these results, it can be concluded that student engagement has a role in shaping student communication skills by 40.9%.

Abstract

This study There is ineffective communication in Wonogiri Market which causes failure in negotiation. Ineffectiveness in negotiation also makes sellers and buyers not have a purchase agreement, sometimes there is a compulsion of sellers so that the goods they sell are immediately sold out so that many other traders compete to provide lower prices. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of communication on the success of negotiations between sellers and buyers in Wonogiri Traditional Market. This study is a quantitative study with a simple linear regression analysis method. This research was conducted in Wonogiri traditional market, on sellers and buyers in March - May 2025. The population of this study was 110 sellers, while the sample used was 84 sellers. The data analysis technique used simple linear regression with the help of the SPSS 25 program. Based on the results of the study and data analysis, it shows that there is an influence of interpersonal communication on the success of negotiations in Wonogiri Traditional Market of 0.581.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Bagaimana tingkat keberhasilan penelitian dan PKM yang telah dilaksanakan oleh PTAB di Indonesia? (2) Apa dampak penelitian dan PKM PTAB terhadap pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan masyarakat? (3) Apa tantangan dan kelemahan utama yang dihadapi PTAB dalam melaksanakan penelitian dan PKM? (4) Faktor-faktor apa yang mendukung keberhasilan penelitian dan PKM di PTAB?. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi, dengan mempergunakan pendekatan model CIPP, juga akan dilakukan analisis SWOTH, sehingga dapat diberikan hasil rekomendasi dan tindak lanjut, berdasarkan kontek, input, proses dan produknya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1)Tingkat keberhasilan penelitian dan PKM di PTAB Indonesia menunjukkan hasil yang beragam. (2) Dampak penelitian dan PKM PTAB terhadap pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan masyarakat belum sepenuhnya optimal, namun menunjukkan potensi yang signifikan. (3) Tantangan dan kelemahan utama meliputi, keterbatasan pendanaan, Infrastruktur dan sarana prasarana, Pemahaman yang belum maksimal terhadap Juklak dan Juknis, Produktivitas ilmiah perlu ditingkatkan , Keterbatasan dalam kerjasama. (4) Faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan meliputi keberadaan SDM. Perencanaan yang disiapkan, penjaminan mutu yang memadai, dokumentasi yang baik, potensi unik yang dimiliki, terdapat juklak juknis yang memadai.

Abstract

Cooperation and communication skills are essential in developing the social competencies of elementary school students, aligning with the Pancasila Student Profile promoted in the merdeka curriculum. This study aims to describe the development of cooperation and communication skills of grade VB students at SDN 7 Wonogiri in IPAS learning through the role playing method. The research was conducted as Classroom Action Research (CAR) over two cycles spanning four weeks, involving 31 grade VB students divided into six groups based on economic roles. Data were collected through observations of cooperation skills (13 indicators) and communication skills (7 indicators), supported by pretest and posttest assessments. The analysis included data reduction, grouping, interpretation of observations per cycle, presentation in narrative or tabular form, and drawing conclusions. The results showed an improvement in cooperation from an average of 39.6 (76.2%) to 49.3 (94.8%), reflected in students’ ability to share tasks, actively contribute, and resolve differences constructively. Communication also increased from 20 (71.4%) to 25 (89.3%), although confidence in speaking before the class was not yet evenly distributed, students began to engage fluently in dialogue and use IPAS terminology accurately. The study concludes that role playing effectively enhances cooperation and communication skills, while supporting the implementation of the merdeka curriculum focused on developing 21st-century competencies. ABSTRAKKeterampilan kerjasama dan komunikasi penting dalam membangun kompetensi sosial siswa sekolah dasar, selaras dengan Profil Pelajar Pancasila pada kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan perkembangan keterampilan kerjasama dan komunikasi siswa kelas VB SDN 7 Wonogiri dalam pembelajaran IPAS melalui metode role playing. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam bentuk PTK dua siklus selama empat minggu dengan subjek 31 siswa kelas VB yang dibagi enam kelompok berdasarkan peran pelaku ekonomi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi keterampilan kerjasama (13 indikator) dan komunikasi (7 indikator), didukung pretest-posttest. Analisis mencakup reduksi, pengelompokan, interpretasi hasil observasi per siklus, penyajian narasi atau tabel, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan kerjasama dari rata-rata 39,6 (76,2%) menjadi 49,3 (94,8%), tercermin pada kemampuan berbagi tugas, berkontribusi aktif, dan menyelesaikan perbedaan pendapat. Komunikasi juga meningkat dari 20 (71,4%) ke 25 (89,3%), meski kepercayaan diri berbicara di depan kelas belum merata, siswa mulai lancar berdialog dan menggunakan istilah IPAS dengan tepat. Penelitian menyimpulkan role playing efektif meningkatkan keterampilan kerjasama dan komunikasi, sekaligus mendukung implementasi kurikulum merdeka berfokus keterampilan abad ke-21.

Abstract

Student participation plays an important role in achieving the desired learning objectives. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the jigsaw cooperative learning model in increasing the participation of class IIIA students in Pancasila education subjects at SDN 7 Wonogiri. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a mixed method approach that combines qualitative and quantitative approaches which are implemented for 2 cycles within a period of four weeks. The subjects of this study were 28 students in class IIIA. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, questionnaires and pre-tests and post-tests to measure student participation and understanding during the learning process. The results of the study showed an increase in student participation in the observation results which were initially 67.5% with a moderate category in cycle I then increased to 81.25% with a good category in cycle II. In addition, the N-Gain analysis showed an increase in understanding of the material from the moderate category (0,48) to high (0,80). This model not only increases participation but also student learning outcomes significantly. The conclusion in this study is that the jigsaw cooperative learning model is effective in increasing the participation of class IIIA students in Pancasila education subjects at SDN 7 Wonogiri. ABSTRAKPartisipasi siswa memiliki peranan yang penting bagi ketercapaian keberhasilan tujuan pembelajaran yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif jigsaw dalam meningkatkan partisipasi siswa kelas IIIA pada mata pelajaran pendidikan Pancasila di SDN 7 Wonogiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan mixed method yang menggabungkan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang dilaksanakan selama 2 siklus dalam kurun waktu empat minggu. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 28 siswa yang kelas IIIA. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket serta pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur partisipasi dan pemahaman siswa selama mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi siswa pada hasil observasi yang awalnya 67,5% dengan kategori sedang pada siklus I kemudian meningkat menjadi 81,25% dengan kategori baik pada siklus II. Selain itu analisis N-Gain menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman materi dari kategori sedang (0,48) menjadi tinggi (0,80). Model ini tidak hanya meningkatkan partisipasi melainkan juga hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan.Simpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif jigsaw efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi siswa kelas IIIA pada mata pelajaran pendidikan Pancasila di SDN 7 Wonogiri.

Abstract

Communication based on ethics can strengthen trust between individuals, foster mutual respect, and create an inclusive dialogical atmosphere. This article aims to examine how the four purities of speech in the Cunda Sutta can be used as a basis for communication ethics for Dharmaduta in carrying out their duties in Keling District, Jepara Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Cunda Sutta becomes the foundation of communication ethics for Dharmaduta in carrying out their duties. Dharmaduta provides information and conveys teachings in accordance with what is needed by the people and based on facts without providing additions and exaggerations, Dharmaduta uses Javanese language, namely fine krama language and adjusts to the audience present, Dharmaduta provides support to the people to carry out interfaith activities, for example by helping the smooth running of the traveling takbir activities to welcome Eid al-Fitr. In the discussion session, Dharmaduta invites people to discuss about the teachings of Buddhism and does not discuss the shortcomings of others. This research shows that integrating the teachings of the Cunda Sutta in Dharmaduta's communication practices not only strengthens Dharmaduta's religious role, but also becomes a real contribution in maintaining the values of diversity and maintaining social harmony at the local level. Through a communication approach that prioritizes honesty, unity, gentleness, and usefulness, Dharmaduta is able to foster tolerance and prevent inter- religious conflicts.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the character of the students of Buddhist Religious Colleges in Indonesia, which can provide an actual picture of the results of the learning process, particularly about the character of students in the Buddhist Colleges in Indonesia. This research is a survey research, based on Mix Method, both qualitative and quantitative, so it can be called as Mix Method research. All sections used in this research are part of the evaluation of the reflection on character education that has been carried out. The results showed that the instrument for assessing the character of Buddhist College students had good validity and reliability, which could be arranged based on the dimensions: Honesty, Caring, Independence, Discipline, Responsibility, Hard work, Simplicity, Courage, Justice. Based on the analysis of evaluative reflection, both qualitative and quantitative data indicate that Buddhist College students have good character of integrity, despite the fact that they still have to reconsider students' hard work, as well as attention to the caring aspect.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what are the factors that shape the character of Buddhist students at SMA Negeri 1 Donorojo. This research uses quantitative methods with a type of descriptive research factor analysis Exploratory factor Analysis (EFA). The subjects in this study were 62 Buddhist students at SMA Negeri 1 Donorojo. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and questionnaires. The results of data analysis showed KMO of 0.787 ≥ 0.5, Bartlett's Test of Sphericity of 1230.920, Measure Sampling Adequacy (MSA) of > 03 and Reliability of Cronbach's alpha instrument of 0.890 > 0.6. The results showed that there were twelve factors forming student character, namely positive will factors, family inattention factors, environmental support factors, inner voice or conscience factors, habit factors, positive hereditary factors, positive family factors, school environment factors, community environment factors, negative will factors and physical environment factors. Of the twelve factors, the most dominant and has the greatest eigenvalue of 8, 178 is the positive will factor. Cumulative percentage og variance of all data amounted to 76.259%. Abstract

Community service was held in Purworejo Village, Central Java. The purpose of this community service is empowering and increasing Buddhist resources through the digital library development program. Community service method used is ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) approach. The result of this community service is; 1) Buddhists can better understand about digital literacy, 2) gain basic digital skills, 3) temple administrators can utilize technology for religious activities, 4) community participation in digital mastery is formed. Besides that, it has also provided welfare to the people, digital literacy and internet access have opened the horizons of information needed by people to increase insight and broadcast religion throughout indonesia, especially in Purworejo Regency.

Abstract

This paper discusses the success or failure of the implementation of civic education learning programs that implement character values. The assessment was carried out by analyzing the Context, Input, Process, and Product for the implementation of the civic education learning program in class 5 at SD Negeri Jumo. The research was conducted from October to February 2022 to 2023. The research is evaluation research with a qualitative approach using the CIPP model. The research results indicate that context, seen from the vision, mission, school goals, syllabus, strategies, and programs, is appropriate and supports character building. Input is also based on the background of the teachers, students, facilities/infrastructure, formulation of lesson plans, and teaching materials that are appropriate in supporting the learning process so that the learning process can be carried out properly. The process is in the form of implementing civic education learning in which the teacher has carried out according to the lesson plans, in the implementation, the right methods/strategies, tools/media, and teaching materials have supported character education. The product has been achieved enough well, where students already have character values such as applying 5S(smile, greeting, greeting, being polite and courteous), cooperation, mutual cooperation, etc, and can apply them in everyday life.
