Abstract

This research was conducted based on the observation that Batu Parsidangan Siallagan is one of the main tourist destinations in Samosir Regency and consistently attracts many visitors. The site is highly rated on several travel platforms, confirming its strong potential as a cultural tourism icon. However, despite this popularity, some visitors provide negative feedback, particularly regarding inconsistent service quality, attractions that do not fully meet expectations, and inadequate supporting facilities. These conditions encourage further study to analyze tourists’ perceptions of service quality and tourist attractions, as well as their influence on visitor satisfaction. A total of 99 respondents were selected using purposive non-probability sampling to ensure the data collected aligned with the research objectives. Data were gathered using a structured questionnaire tested for validity and reliability, then analyzed through descriptive statistics and inferential methods, including multiple regression, the coefficient of determination, t-test, and F-test. The findings show that service quality and attractions together account for 56.3% of the variation in visitor satisfaction. These results highlight the need to enhance service quality, create more engaging cultural attractions, improve supporting facilities, and provide continuous training for local human resources so that Batu Parsidangan Siallagan can maintain its status as a leading tourist destination.

Based on this, researchers want to collect data to be used as recommendation material for the Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Office (Disparbudpora) and become information material for visitors. So that it can provide excellent opportunities for the local community in the economic field. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive research design in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. Sumedang Regency is a hilly and mountainous area with altitudes between 25 m - 1,667 m above sea level.  Most of Sumedang is mountainous, except in a small part of the northern region which is lowland. Mount Tampomas (1,667 m), is located in the north of Sumedang Urban Area. Sumedang Regency as a tourism area is very potential, especially after the construction of the Cileunyi - Sumedang - Dawuan (Cisumdawu) Freeway which connects Bandung with Cirebon through the Cipali Trans Java Toll Road. The easier accessibility to Sumedang will contribute to the flow of tourists entering the Sumedang area. Based on the results of interviews with the Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports (Disparbudpora), the agency has not coordinated and collected data on the number of sport tourism in Sumedang Regency. It was concluded that Sumedang Regency has eight sports tours namely: Paragliding, Rafting, Horse Racing, Mountain Bike, Motocross, Offroad, Golf and Pencak Silat Village.

Abstract

Background: Small-Sided Games (SSGs) are game-based training activities that manipulate player numbers, playing area, and task constraints to reproduce important features of match play. Although SSGs are widely used in futsal, evidence specifically addressing tactical outcomes and tactically related technical skills in high school players remains limited. Objective: This scoping review mapped empirical evidence on SSG interventions and their effects on direct tactical outcomes and tactically related technical skills among high school futsal players. Methods: The review followed Joanna Briggs Institute methodology and the PRISMA Extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR). Searches were conducted in Scopus, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and Google Scholar for studies published from 2019 to 2026. Eligible studies involved high school futsal players aged 15–18 years, used an SSG intervention, and reported a direct tactical outcome or a tactically related technical skill. Results: Of 260 records identified, 225 unique records were screened, 12 full texts were assessed, and three quasi-experimental studies met the eligibility criteria. All three studies assessed technical outcomes, particularly passing accuracy, passing skill, and dribbling; none used a validated instrument to directly assess tactical awareness, positioning, off-the-ball tactical behaviour, game intelligence, or decision-making as a primary outcome. Fitrian et al. (2023) reported improved passing accuracy after 15 SSG sessions. Purwanto et al. (2026) reported significant improvement in passing and dribbling after an eight-week SSG programme. Putra et al. (2026) reported greater improvement in passing skills in an SSG group than in a comparison group, although the source study contains inconsistencies in its description of the intervention. Conclusion: Current evidence supports the potential of SSGs to improve technical execution in school-level futsal, particularly passing-related skills. Evidence for direct tactical outcomes in high school futsal remains insufficient. Future studies should use validated tactical performance instruments, transparent intervention protocols, larger samples, and more rigorous experimental designs.
