Abstract

This research aims to determine the right strategy in developing ecotourism-based Pine Grenden Forest in Magelang City. This research uses descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection is done by using observations, interviews, and questionnaires. This research using non probability sampling technique with a sample of 100 people in the Grenden Pine Forest. The sampling method in this study uses incidental sampling. Data collected were analyzed using SWOT analysis. The results of this study obtained several strategies that can be applied by the managers of the Grenden Pine Forest, such as (1) making instagramable photo spots and showing the characteristics of the Pine Grenden Forest, (2) in collaboration with the Mount Merbabu National Park to make educational tours related with the introduction of Pine Trees and Merbabu animals, (3) manufacturing of Grenden's distinctive tourism products, such as food and souvenirs, (4) planting trees and capturing endemic Merbabu animals.

Abstract

Baron Beach is one of the beaches in Yogyakarta which is directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean. This beach has potential resources that can be developed into sustainable tourism. This article discusses the strategy of processing the existing resources on Baron Beach to become sustainable tourism in welcoming the Indian Ocean Century. The research was conducted using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by observation and interviews. Data processing was performed by using Triagulation analysis techniques and SWOT analysis. Several strategies that can be applied in developing Baron Beach into sustainable tourism include; (1) Developing Of disability-friendly tourism facilities and culinary-based marine tourism; (2) Establishing a fishermen education tourism center in Gunungkidul; (3) Organizing national and international culinary events; (4) Add eco-friendly tourist attractions; (5) Conducting comparative studies on tourism management in a professional manner which also develops effective and sustainable tourism products, partnership patterns and community empowerment. Abstract

The southern coast of Yogyakarta is one area that has the potential to be developed as sustainable tourism in DIY, such as Parangtritis Beach, Glagah Beach and Baron Beach. This article discusses the system of processing sustainable tourism products that exist in the southern region of DIY in order to become leading tourism in welcoming the Indian Ocean Century. Research has been conducted using descriptive methods with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using observation and interviews with Tiagulation analysis techniques and SWOT analysis. The results show that Parangtritis Beach is superior to Glagah Beach and Baron Beach in terms of developing attractiveness, facilities and accessibility. In addition, the relationship between the partnership pattern between the government and the tourism industry is very well coordinated and community empowerment is also seen as a mobilizer. Tourism product development, partnership patterns and community empowerment at Baron Beach have been carried out effectively and sustainably. Whereas in Glagah Beach, the processing of tourism products has experienced many obstacles, due to the construction of Yogyakarta's new airport which has an impact on the condition of tourism products as well as a shift in land use from the center of agro-tourism activities to the new airport area and lack of attention from the local government

Abstract

Community behaviour and environmental conditions are very potential for leptospirosis cases. The main source of transmission is strongly suspected to be in the vicinity of residential neighbourhoods that have standing water and the presence of rats. The aims to identify leptospirosis cases, behavioural and environmental factors for empowering the management of health-oriented water tourism. Method: Descriptive with cross-sectional design. Results: People bathing and washing clothes at water sources around the water attractions. The water swallowed while swimming or submerging the body has been contaminated with bacteria. Water tourism managers make efforts to minimize the breeding grounds of rats. Conclusion: Health-oriented management can develop the potential and attractiveness of tourists. A history of water travel can increase the risk of leptospirosis

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the development of agrotourism Kampoeng Kopi Banaran and to analyze employee performance in supporting the development of agritourism in Kampoeng Kopi Banaran, in Semarang Regency. In particular the goal is to find out how management efforts in developing agritourism Kampoeng Kopi Banaran, management of human resources, employee performance in supporting the development of agrotourism.The study is mixed methods using 56 respondents as samples. While data analysis in this research using multiple regression analysis using F test and t test. The results of the data analysis of socio-demographic explain that influence on the performance showed that age, gender, education, family status, employment status and work experience positively affect employee performance. While F-test states that jointly age, gender, education, family status, employment status and work experience affect the performance. t test in this research shows there is no significant influence of gender on the performance, no significant influence of the family status on the performance. The conclusions of this study are that there is a positive and significant influence of socio-demographic on emplyoee performance and there is a positive and significant influence between employee performance against agrotourism understanding in Kampoeng Kopi Banaran.Keywords: Merapi Volcano Museum, MGM, tourist perception, service quality

Abstract

In the past the function of the hotel was only as a place to stay for consumers who travel on business or tourism and do not have a relationship or family at their destination. Sharia concept hotels continue to grow along with the needs of Muslim consumers around the world. The concept of sharia hotels also continues to grow in Indonesia, especially in the Yogyakarta region as one of the tourist destinations in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of price, service quality and brand image on customer loyalty of sharia hotels in Yogyakarta Special Region both partially and simultaneously.This type of research is causally comparative. The variables in this study are price, service quality, brand image and customer loyalty. The population in this study are customers who have visited sharia hotels in Yogyakarta. Sampling was done by nonrandom sampling, specifically using purposive sampling where the sample was taken from the population, with the following criteria: 1) Customers who had stayed in sharia hotels in Yogyakarta more than twice, and 2) Respondents aged 18 years. The sample in this study was taken as many as 100 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis.Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions are obtained: (1) Prices have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty; (2) Service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty; (3) Brand image has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty; and (4) Price, service quality, and brand image have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty.Keywords: hotel, sharia, price, service quality, brand image, customer loyalty

Abstract

Distribution of Prevention Tools and Dissemination of Health Protocol for Tourist Visit Services in New Normal Post Covid-19 Pandemic. Consideration from a public health perspective on covid-19 prevention and control for the tourism sector is needed as a recommended approach to be taken by the tourism sector. Community service activities are carried out by handing over some equipment to prevent the spread of covid-19 in welcoming new normal conditions at tourist destinations, which can be used by Pokdarwis members in serving tourists. Prevention equipment includes face shields that can be used by ticket sales officers, parking attendants, tour guides, hand sanitisers to maintain the cleanliness of every tourist who will enter the Klayar tourist destination, and cloth masks used by Pokdarwis members in providing services to tourists. Covid-19 pandemic has led to new behaviours in the community, which is much more concerned about hygiene, health, and safety factors, including for tourism destinations

Abstract

Masa pandemi merubah kebiasaan masyarakat untuk menunjukkan perilaku sehat di lingkungan mereka berada, termasuk kesadaran dan kepedulian dalam berwisata. Menjaga kesehatan diri dan orang sekitar, wisata aman bagi pengelola dan pengunjung dengan penerapan protokol kesehatan harus disiapkan untuk menjaga dan melindungi kegiatan wisata selama pandemi. Program pendampingan dengan mengusung model pentahelix dan pemberian bantuan alat pelindung diri perlu dilakukan di suatu destinasi pariwisata dalam menghadapi masa pandemi. Perencanaan pembangunan dan pengembangan tempat wisata pada masa new normal menciptakan konsep berwisata baru dan berpeluang meningkatkan potensi dalam berkontribusi dari seluruh aspek pendukung sektor pariwisata. Ciri khas yang menjadi daya tarik wisata wajib dimiliki. Keamanan dalam wujud taat pada protokoler kesehatan untuk pencegahan covid-19 di lokasi wisata perlu dikuatkan selama berwisata. Lokasi wisata wajib memiliki karakteristik daya tarik wisata yang perlu dipertahankan The Pentahelix Model Assistance Program and Providing Personal Protective Equipment Assistance at Kebon Empring in Facing the  Pandemic Period (New Normal) Pandemic period changes people habits to show healthy behavior in the environment they are in, including awareness and concern in traveling. Maintaining health of yourself and those around you, safe tourism for managers and visitors by implementing health protocols must be prepared to maintain and protect tourism activities during a pandemic. Assistance programs by carrying out the pentahelix model and providing personal protective equipment assistance need to be carried out in a tourism destination in face of a pandemic. Planning for the development and development of tourist attractions during the new normal period creates new tourism concepts and has the opportunity to increase the potential to contribute from all aspects of supporting the tourism sector. Characteristics that are a must-have tourist attraction. Security in form of adhering to health protocols for prevention of Covid-19 at tourist sites needs to be strengthened while traveling. Tourist locations must have tourist attraction characteristics that need to be maintained.

Abstract

Banyu Tibo Beach is one of the beaches in Pacitan Regency. This beach has uniqueness of a waterfall overlooking the beach. This research aims to find out the right management strategy for Banyu Tibo Beach to be ecotourism. This research method used  a descriptive qualitative analysis method. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires with non-probability sampling techniques to 100 respondents in Banyu Tibo Beach by taking using incidental sampling techniques. The data obtained is then processed using SWOT analysis to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that exist in Banyu Tibo Beach. From the data processing, obtained the right strategies to manage the Banyu Tibo Beach in ecotourism, namely by providing or adding infrastructure to support ecotourismbased tourism activities, making or adding environmentally friendly tourism products, conducting training on ecotourism for human resources managing Banyu Tibo Beach, in collaboration with all parties to play an active role in the implementation of sustainable tourism activities.

Abstract

Edelweis tourism village is one of the tourist villages located in Pasuruan Regency, East Java. This tourist village is still in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park area. This tourist village has the main tourism potential, namely the Edelweiss flower or eternal flower. In this research, using descriptive analysis which is qualitative in nature. The data obtained were then analyzed using SWOT analysis. From the results of this study, the development strategy of Wonokriti Village as an Edelweiss tourism village is obtained, including holding activities related to the Edelweiss flower, making this village a center for educational tourism, especially edelweiss flowers, developing tourism supporting infrastructure, holding hospitality training for human resources involved in management.
