Abstract

This research aims to determine the right strategy in managing the Mahakam River tourist destinations in an ecotourism. This is because the Mahakam River has the potential to be managed ecotourically, because in addition to nature tourism on the Mahakam River there are also dolphins, which are endemic animals of the Mahakam River which are currently small in number and included in the category of endangered animals. This research is a qualitative research with non probability sampling technique, then the data obtained are analyzed using SWOT analysis. The results of this study obtained several strategies that can be applied in the Mahakam River tourist destination to be managed ecotourism. These strategies include (1) conducting training on ecotourism for HR managing the Mahakam River, (2) minimizing the use of ships that produce a lot of air pollution, (3) organizing HR training for waste management, particularly in tourist sites and surroundings, (4) making the Mahakam River a conservation place for dolphins, (5) educating all parties, both managers and tourists, to care for the environment.

Abstract

Embung Kledung merupakan salah satu primadona pariwisata yang berada di Temanggung Jawa Tengah. Daya tarik dari destinasi wisata ini juga menjadi salah satu tujuan dalamberwisata yang dapat dilakukan oleh siapa saja yang ini berkunjung ke destinasi atau daya tarik wisata Embung Kledung. Penulis berkesempatan untuk menikmati panorama yang indah ini. Penulis juga sudah melakukan observasi langsung di Embung Kledung sebagai salah satu syarat dalam penulisan jurnal ilmiah ini. Penulis juga mendapatakan bahwa destinasi Embung Kledung ini sangat bagus untuk dijadikan destinasi yang unggul sehingga dengan keindahan yang dimiliki oleh Embung Kledung ini dapat membuat Embung Kledung berkembang secara lebih baik lagi. Embung Kledung juga sangat terkenal sebagai satu destinasi yang memiliki banyak sekali peminat sehingga perlu dilakukan promosi yang lebih baik lagi terlebih pada saat ini adalah pariwisata di tengah pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

Gesing Beach is one of the beaches in Gunungkidul which has beautiful views of white sand and clear sea water. However, the tourism potential in Gesing Beach has not been managed optimally. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the right strategy in the development of Gesing Beach by involving the role of the community. In this study using a qualitative descriptive method involving 100 respondents. Data collection is done by incident sampling method. The data obtained was then analyzed using SWOT analysis to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that exist in Pantai Gesing. Furthermore, from the results of data processing obtained several strategies that can be applied in Gesing Beach, among others (1) Maintaining the natural tourism potential of Gesing Beach to keep it natural, (2) Adding or maintaining tourism products but still paying attention to sustainability aspects (3) Establishing cooperation with parties thirdly to bring in tourists, support and develop tourism potential in Gesing Beach, 4) Involve all parties to jointly protect the environment, (5) Increase tourism promotion in Gesing Beach, (6) Conduct training for human resources in waste management.Keywords: Gesing Beach, Community Based, SWOT Analysis

Abstract

The Jambi Pesparawi event is an annual event organized by members of the Church Choir and is a target market segment for hotels that need to be handled properly, for that the hotel must have a strategy so that the event can be held at Gallery Prawirotaman Hotel Yogyakarta. This study aims to find out how the strategy carried out by the sales admin in managing the Jambi Pesparawi Event. This study used the Case Study research method at the Jambi Pesparawi Event at the Gallery Prawirotaman Hotel Yogyakarta. The results showed that the strategy carried out by the Sales Admin of the Prawirotaman Hotel Yogyakarta Gallery was divided into three stages, namely the event planning stage, the event implementation stage, and the post-event stage.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mapping of research into several scopes of the tourism sector by discussing several topic parameters regarding satisfaction, loyalty, and homestay which were published during 2017 – 2022 and indexed on Google Scholar, analyzing topics related to Satisfaction and Loyalty in Homestay. This study uses a qualitative method with a thematic analysis approach as a data analysis method. This research utilizes the Publish or Perish (PoP) application to collect research data from research results indexed on Google Scholar by entering the keywords "Satisfaction and Loyalty in Homestay". Determination of the sample was carried out by screening publications in the form of journal articles, conference proceedings, book chapters, and books published from 2017-2022. The research data was analyzed using the VoS Viewer application. The results of mapping based on keywords illustrate that there is a research relationship related to the topic of Customer Loyalty with Effect, Guest Satisfaction, and homestay management, then the topic Effect is closely related to customer loyalty, satisfaction, development, perceived value, and tourism. Furthermore, research on the topic of tourism is closely related to community, development, effects, attractiveness, destination loyalty, homestay facilities, and other topics. From several existing research topics, future research can be carried out, such as the topic of risk management associated with the satisfaction and loyalty of tourists staying in homestays. This research was conducted only limited to data sources from Google Scholar so that future research can be developed with data sources originating from Scopus, Crossref, and IEEEXplore.

Abstract

Wanurejo Village is one of the villages located in the Borobudur Temple area which is unique as a "Culture and Crafts" village and some of the factors that hinder the empowerment strategy in tourist villages are the increasingly egocentric nature that appears in individuals and tourism support facilities which still need to be improved. While the concept in the process of developing a tourist village, the surrounding community is used as an active subject, meaning that the surrounding environment and the social life of the people in the village are used as a tourist destination. The community also acts as a tourism promotion agent and innovator in providing ideas for developing tourist villages. The purpose of this research is to see how tourism village development is empowered to improve the economy in the village. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through interviews with tourists, and village managers and through a literature review of previous research results. The results of the study show that in empowering a tourist village, careful planning is needed to advance the village economy, Balkondes is a good medium or forum to improve the economy of a tourist village which shows the superiority of the destination's attractiveness, of course, related parties to become pioneers in village empowerment the tour.

Abstract

The relevance of the field of psychology in the tourism sector has become the focus of research by researchers. This study aims to analyze the development of psychology research in the field of tourism using a bibliometric approach. The data used are articles published from various sources from 2018 to 2022 with the theme of tourism psychology. Data collection and analysis were carried out using the Publish or Perish (PoP) application with the Google Scholar database. The research data was analyzed using the VoS Viewer application. The results of the analysis show that in the 2018–2022 period, there were 441 published articles regarding the interrelationship of psychology and tourism. The total citations for these articles reached 1649. The most cited articles were those written by Jiang, et al. in 2019, with a total of 200 citations. Data mapping based on co-word analysis revealed that there were 12 clusters that formed research groups with interrelated topics. In addition, the grouping based on co-author analysis shows that there are four clusters that reflect the collaboration between authors in this research field. Thus, this study provides an overview of the development of psychology research in the field of tourism using bibliometric analysis. From several existing research topics, future research can be carried out, such as the topic of tourism psychology related to social media, tourism psychology related to the content, psychologically what underlies people's desire to travel religiously, and topics related to innovation in tourism psychology. This information can be the basis for understanding research trends, collaborations between researchers, and research topics that are most relevant in relation to the psychology of tourism.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang saat ini melanda dunia memberikan dampak kepada seluruh elemen manusia dan juga sektor pariwisata. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari banyaknya destinasi-destinasi wisata yang harus tutup sementara dan acara pariwisata harus terhenti untuk sementara. Namun masyarakat harus mulai terbiasa untuk hidup berdampingan dengan virus ini. Salah satu acara pariwisata yang dapat dijadikan solusi berlibur ketika masa adaptasi kebiasaan baru adalah wisata rekreasi olahraga sepakbola, salah satunya pertandingan sepakbola Persib di Kota Bandung. Klub sepakbola Persib yang memiliki prestasi yang membanggakan dan menjadi salah satu klub yang memiliki pendukung terbanyak di Indonesia yang dimana para pendukung memiliki antusiasme yang tinggi untuk menonton kembali pertandingan Persib setelah liga yang sempat terhenti dan para pendukung ini merupakan salah satu pelaku pariwisata yaitu sebagai wisatawan. Keputusan wisatawan untuk berkunjung kembali bisa dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu diantaranya adalah faktor minat dan juga motivasi. Untuk itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar minat dan motivasi berpengaruh terhadap keputusan wisatawan untuk menonton kembali pertandingan Persib. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dimana sampel di ambil dari wisatawan yang sudah pernah menonton pertandingan persib sebelumnya dengan menggunakan kuisioner yang disebarkan di google form. Analisa data menggunakan model regresi linier berganda yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lebih dari satu variabel independent yang mempengaruhi satu variabel dependent.

Abstract

Transformational and transactional leadership are two types of leadership that haveanappeal to be studied in research studies. This study discusses the descriptions andperspectives of each type of leadership based on literature and previous research. Transformational leadership is a more visionary type of leadership and is able tobringemployees to continue to make changes through meaningful ideas, ideas and actions. Abstract

Abstrack: Posong is a tourist destination that needs to be built, developed, and perfected. Therefore we need right way to develop Posong area into a leading and attractive destination for tourists. Attraction characteristic of Posong's natural attractions is view sunrise and display of seven mountain peaks. Spread plantation land does not forget to be allure Posong's natural tourist destination. However, this potential has not been managed optimally, such as lack of adequate facilities, less intensive promotions, and accessibility problems in form roads are still steep and rocky. In addition, during this pandemic, natural tourism in Posong experienced a decrease in number tourists, which affected local economy. Therefore we need the right strategy to make Posong a sustainable tourism.Purpose: This study aims to analyze ecotourism in Posong tourism sites, Temanggung Regency. Determine and describe economic influence, social influences, environmental influences in Posong tourism destinations, Temanggung Regency before and after ecotourism development strategy.Research methods: Qualitative with explorative. Data collection by observation and documentation.Results and discussions: Strategies used to develop Posong tourist destinations which include application of sustainable tourism principles, ecotourism development, acessibility, and amenity development, Human Resources Development local communities, formation of Posong tourism area managers.Conclusion: Aspects of attractions, environment, and visitors are good and ready to deal with revenge tourism during a pandemic by paying attention to strict health protocols. Sustainable development has a comprehensive, integrated, and human oriented approach
