Abstract

Pendidikan saat ini bahwa proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam telah dilakukan oleh guru dengan beberapa metode klasik sebelumnya. Namun dengan adanya perubahan kurikulum yang semakin maju, kini dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Pendidikan Agama Islam menggunakan metode diskusi. Berdasarkan konteks penelitian yang telah dipaparkan secara global, maka peneliti merumuskan lima fokus penelitian, yaitu Untuk apa metode diskusi, perencanaan, langkah-langkah, materi apa saja yang dipilih guru dalam penerapan metode diskusi, dan media apa saja yang digunakan guru dalam menggunakan metode diskusi pada kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas X oleh guru PAI SMA Negeri 1 Kapuas Pontianak tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Media yang digunakan dalam metode diskusi di sekolah SMA Kapuas Pontianak X adalah media visual, audio, dan visual. Media-media tersebut mudah digunakan, menghemat waktu, dan dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa untuk belajar secara efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the role of leadership in improving employee performance at the Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Department of Lahat Regency. The research method involves interviews with key informants in the organization. The interview results revealed that effective leadership has a significant impact on three main aspects: organizational culture, employee motivation, and work environment. These findings are supported by a recent literature review. This research shows that leadership plays an important role in forming an organizational culture that supports employee performance. Effective leaders are able to promote values that create an environment where employees feel motivated, have a sense of trust, and are ready to contribute optimally. In the context of government organizations, transformational leadership, leader support, and constructive feedback are key factors that influence employee performance. In conclusion, this research confirms the importance of the role of leadership in improving employee performance at the Lahat Regency PUPR Service. To achieve optimal performance, organizations need to invest in effective leadership development and promote a supportive organizational culture. The practical implication is that effective leadership is the key to achieving organizational goals and maximizing human resource potential. Keywords: Leadership, Employee Performance, PUPR Service

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in the integration between Islamic education and science. The HOTS concept helps students develop critical and creative thinking skills and link religious values ​​with science. This integration enables ethical assessment in the context of science and strengthens the understanding of the harmony between Islamic teachings and scientific principles. This research uses a literature study method to explore information related to the concept of HOTS and educational integration. HOTS is a complex thinking skill, involving analysis, evaluation and design. The integration of Islamic education and science combines two aspects to achieve a comprehensive understanding. The steps include integration through curriculum, syllabus, team teaching, assignments, and joint writing of work from various scientific disciplines. This integration not only enriches learning but also strengthens students' understanding of the harmony between science and religious values.

Abstract

The entrepreneurship-based Islamic boarding school at Nurul Haramain began with the arrival of Tuan Guru Juaini Mukhtar to the Narmada area and the teachers' anxiety about the needs of their students. These two things have continued to develop since their inception until now and are even imitated by many Islamic boarding schools. This research aims to describe Tuan Guru Hasanain Juaini's thoughts, especially on entrepreneurship-based Islamic boarding school development. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation which were carried out for 2 months starting from May-June 2023. The research results revealed that the concept of entrepreneurship according to Tuan Guru Hasanain Juaini is a mandatory knowledge a person must have. Tuan Guru Hasanain's thoughts in developing Nurul Islamic Boarding School Haramain are based on entrepreneurship and trading by Islamic law which prioritizes hard work, honesty, discipline, open-mindedness, and simple living. Meanwhile, the implementation of Tuan Guru Hasanain's entrepreneurial thinking can be seen in the birth of businesses and business units at Nurul Pesantren Haramain including a mini bank, laundry, Haramain restaurant, bakery, Haramain Mart, livestock, sports, heavy equipment rental and others. As for the contribution of Tuan Guru Hasanain's thoughts in developing Nurul Pesantren Haramain, it could be said that the majority of those in the Islamic boarding school are the contribution of Tuan Guru Hasanain's thoughts from the smallest to the largest. Starting from losing small amounts of student money, and teachers' vehicle loans to building networks with the government, investors, and entrepreneurs. This thesis also concludes that in developing an entrepreneurship-based Islamic boarding school, it must start from a movement, whether it is successful or not, the most important thing is to start it first. When applied, Islamic Sharia in business can be a solution when there is a deadlock in various situations and conditions.   Keywords: Entrepreneurship, Thoughts of Tuan Guru Hasanain, Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

Cocoa leaf wastes as a basic medium are the nutrition that needed for the growth of white oyster mushroom mycelium (Pleurotus ostreatus). The objectives of this study were determine the cocoa leaf wastes as a basic medium for the growth of white oyster mushroom mycelium and the dosage of basic medium to encourage the best fungal growth. This research was designed in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), consisting of seven treatments and three replications, namely P1 (Basic Media of 100% cocoa leaf waste), P2 (Basic Media 90% + Suplement 10%), P3 (Basic Media 80% + Suplement 20 %), P4 (Basic Media 70% + Suplement 30%), P5 (Basic Media 60% + Suplement 40%), P6 (Basic Media 50% + Suplement 50%), P7 (Sawdust 70%, 20% rice bran + flour corn 10%). The method that used in this study were media preparation, drying, grinding and formulation. The parameters that observed were the basic media, microscopic characteristics of hyphae, mycelium growth curve and macroscopic characteristics of colonies. The results of P1 and P7 showed the best growth for mycelium, observation of mycelium growth were done every 3 days. The isolation stage was carried out on Potato Sucrose Agar (PSA) media, the results obtained that P1 was 0,1 x 1012 CFU/g, P2 was 0,4 x 1012 CFU/g, P3 was 0,3 x 1012 CFU/g, P4 as much as 0,7 x 1012 CFU/g, P5 as much as 0,6 x 1012 CFU/g, P6 as much as 0,4 x 1012 CFU/g, P7 as much as 2,4 x 1012 CFU/g, respectively. Cocoa leaf waste are potentially as a growth medium for mycelium of white oyster mushroom.

Abstract

This research explores the widespread and trending phenomenon of al-Qur'an memorization (tahfiẓ) programs in Islamic education, encompassing traditional and modern settings such as Islamic boarding schools and public schools. Using a qualitative approach and drawing on Kotler's (2002) and Keller's (2001) brand image theory, data is collected through observation, interviews (with key figures in educational institutions, including leaders, teachers, parents, students, alumni, and government agencies in West Nusa Tenggara), and documentation. The findings highlight distinct types of tahfiẓ programs in the three selected educational institutions: Al-Aziziyah Islamic Boarding School requires the precise memorization of the entire Qur'an (30 chapters), Abu Hurairah Islamic Boarding School integrates the program within the formal curriculum, covering 13 chapters, and SDIT Anak Sholeh Mataram includes the program in the formal curriculum, completing two chapters (30 and 29). Theological, pragmatic, and sociological factors influence public responses to these institutions. The study suggests that the theological aspects play a significant role in shaping the perception of the Qur'an tahfiẓ program as an Islamic educational brand, which extends beyond the attributes, benefits, values, culture, personality, and users emphasized in existing brand image theories.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to analyze the ideological contestation between the Nahdlatul Wathan (NW) as a local Islamic group and Salafis as a transnational Islamic group in the Islamic literature, which is utilized as teaching materials in NW and Salafi schools. The rivalry between these two religious groups become a novel phenomenon in Lombok together with the increasing influence of the Salafi group. The success of Salafis in promoting the manhaj salaf, which in many ways contradicts the Aswaja promoted by NW in Islamic practice, has implications for the strengthening of the ideological content in Islamic textbooks in their respective schools. Acoording to the data characteristic this study is library research sourced from several Islamic works of literature utilized as teaching materials in NW and Salafi schools. Based on the identification of literature books utilized as teaching materials, as analyzed based on the contestation theory by Antje Wiener and apparatuses of ideology theory by Louis Althusser, this study argues that religious literature used as teaching materials in Islamic schools is an instrument of ideological trapping of religious groups to generate apparatuses of ideology to win the contestation. The teaching materials contain negation of one another, mono-interpretation, and misleading one another. Finally, students only accept particular religious understandings indoctrination without being taught to think critically regarding different religious perspectives. In this context, a state polyce is needed to makesure that the higher order thinking skills of students have been developing, rather than ideological traping of certain Islamic group.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persaingan ideologis antara NW sebagai kelompok Islam Lokal, dan Salafi sebagai kelompok Islam transnasional dalam literatur keislaman yang dijadikan bahan ajar di sekolah NW dan Salafi. Persaingan kedua kelompok keagamaan ini menjadi fenomena baru di Lombok bersamaan dengan semakin berkembangnya pengaruh kelompok Salafi. Keberhasilan Salafi mempromosikan manhaj salaf yang dalam banyak hal bertentangan dengan Aswaja yang diusung NW dalam praktik keislaman, berimplikasi terhadap semakin menguatnya muatan ideologis dalam buku teks keislaman pada sekolah masing-masing. Sesuai karakteristik data, studi ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan yang bersumber dari berbagai literature keislaman yang digunakan di sekolah NW dan Salafi. Berdasarkan identifikasi terhadap buku-buku literatur yang digunakan sebagai bahan ajar, yang dianalisis berdasarkan teori kontestasi oleh Antje Winner, dan teori apparatus ideology oleh Louis Althrusser, studi ini berargumen bahwa literatur keagamaan yang digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di sekolah Islam merupakan instrumen perangkap ideologis kelompok keagamaan untuk melahirkan apparatus ideologi demi memenangkan persaingan. Bahan ajar tersebut memuat penegasian satu dengan yang lain, mono-intrepretasi, dan saling menyesatkan satu dengan yang lain. Akhirnya, siswa hanya menerima indoktrinasi paham keagamaan tertentu, tanpa diajarkan berpikir kritis terhadap perbedaan pandangan keagamaan. Maka dibutuhkan intervensi Negara untuk memastikan berpikir kritis siswa harus tumbuh dalam dunia pendidikan Islam, tanpa dikukung oleh ideology kelompok tertentu.How to Cite: Saparudin. (2022). Abstract

Education is something that every human being must obtain. Every day the development of learning models for quality education becomes clearer, both at national and international levels. The development of education from year to year must be better, so that it is in line with the needs of the times which are always developing following the flow of globalization. Applying the Make a Match technique will further activate students in learning, making learning more meaningful because of active student involvement during the learning process. Through this method, students will also be trained to express ideas, opinions and criticism of other people. So it is hoped that it will be able to optimize student learning outcomes. The type of research used in this research is field research (Field Research) which is qualitative and quantitative in nature. With data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research are in the Implementation of the Make a Match Learning Method to Improve Islamic Religious Education Learning Outcomes in Asmaul Husna Material for Class 4 State Elementary School Setting Batang Hari Leko District, Musi Banyuasin Regency" The application of the Make a Match method is able to improve student learning outcomes because it is easy, not difficult , it's fun to play card games and it doesn't bore students so they can respond to the learning material in accordance with the expected learning objectives

Abstract

This study examines bullying in leading schools in Mataram City, focusing on its root causes and exploring solutions grounded in Islamic legal perspectives. Bullying significantly affects students’ mental and physical well-being, academic performance, and social development, underscoring the importance of fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. Employing a qualitative approach, the research integrates legal, sociocultural, and educational frameworks to analyze the persistence of bullying within the unique social and institutional dynamics of Mataram. The study emphasizes Islamic principles, including justice (adl), compassion (rahmah), and mutual respect (ta’awun), as foundational for addressing bullying. Practical strategies inspired by Islamic teachings, such as promoting care (tas’awun), enhancing positive interactions, and implementing preventive measures through school policies and religious education, are proposed. Community involvement, particularly the roles of parents, teachers, and religious leaders, is highlighted as essential for supporting student well-being. The findings suggest that integrating educational reforms with Islamic ethical values effectively combats bullying, ensuring both immediate intervention and long-term cultural shifts toward respect and harmony. This comprehensive framework, incorporating legal and cultural dimensions, aims to create nurturing educational environments aligned with justice and community welfare. Penelitian ini mengkaji fenomena perundungan di sekolah-sekolah unggulan di Kota Mataram dengan fokus pada penyebab utama dan solusi berbasis perspektif hukum Islam. Perundungan memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan mental dan fisik siswa, prestasi akademik, serta perkembangan sosial, sehingga penting untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman, inklusif, dan penuh penghormatan. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengintegrasikan kerangka hukum, sosiokultural, dan pendidikan untuk menganalisis keberlanjutan perundungan dalam dinamika sosial dan kelembagaan khusus di Mataram. Penelitian ini menyoroti prinsip-prinsip Islam, seperti keadilan (adl), kasih sayang (rahmah), dan saling menghormati (ta’awun), sebagai landasan dalam menangani perundungan. Strategi praktis yang terinspirasi dari ajaran Islam, seperti mempromosikan kepedulian (tas’awun), meningkatkan interaksi positif, dan menerapkan langkah pencegahan melalui kebijakan sekolah dan pendidikan agama, diajukan sebagai solusi. Keterlibatan komunitas, khususnya peran orang tua, guru, dan tokoh agama, dipandang penting untuk mendukung kesejahteraan siswa. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa mengintegrasikan reformasi pendidikan dengan nilai-nilai etika Islam secara efektif dapat mengatasi perundungan, memastikan intervensi segera sekaligus perubahan budaya jangka panjang menuju penghormatan dan harmoni. Kerangka kerja yang komprehensif ini, yang menggabungkan dimensi hukum dan budaya, bertujuan menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang mendukung, selaras dengan keadilan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Abstract

Moral education aims to develop students' cognitive abilities in order to guide their thoughts, actions, and behaviors in alignment with virtuous values that define their identities. These values are demonstrated through their interactions with God, themselves, others, and the environment, as reflections of their role as servants of Allah. The aim of this research was to provide a comprehensive analysis of the moral education concepts presented in the Ta'limul Muta'allim book, including their practical application and significance. This study employed a qualitative research approach, specifically the descriptive method. Data collecting methods were conducted using observation, interviews, and documentation procedures. The research identified various concepts of moral education in the book Ta'limul Muta'allim. These concepts include the notion of educational goals, the concept of honoring teachers, the concept of students, and the concept of civility while studying. The implementation of moral education involves incorporating the educational goal concept into subject objectives. The concept of respecting teachers encompasses the students' possession of knowledge, wara’ (piety), affection, and reverence. The concept of students entails facilitating their acquisition of knowledge, receiving affection, intending to seek Allah's blessing, demonstrating steadfastness, and respecting teachers. Furthermore, the implementation of the courtesy concept in studying knowledge necessitates that students glorify knowledge and possess wara’.
