Abstract

Mangroves are tropical trees that thrive in conditions intolerable to most woody species: saline, coastal waters subjected to relentless tidal fluctuations. Due to their significant carbon sequestration capacity, mangroves serve as a crucial weapon in the battle against climate change, yet they face global threats. By protecting mangrove forests, we can contribute to safeguarding our planet's future.The mangrove forest in Buruk Bakul village exemplifies a well-preserved mangrove ecosystem in Indonesia. Situated along the coast, this forest acts as a natural barrier, protecting the village from coastal erosion and saltwater intrusion. In 2024, the MBKM  Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) at the University of Riau implemented a project to cultivate and plant 1,000 mangrove trees in Buruk Bakul Village. This initiative aims to restore the mangrove ecosystem, enhance community awareness about environmental conservation, and provide students with practical experience in environmental conservation efforts.Therefore, a collaborative approach involving government agencies, local communities, and various stakeholders is essential to sustainably preserve and manage the mangrove forest in Buruk Bakul village.

Abstract

Leasing is an important component in starting a business. Each village has a business entity called Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). This business entity has one work program, namely renting BUMDes assets consisting of market stalls, tractors and weighing scales. Like the current rental process, you need to contact the BUMDes officer or go to the village office to find out the stock of goods and register. With limited access to tenant information, it is difficult to find out stock of goods, and for officers recording tenant data manually is also inefficient. Currently, almost all activities can be done online just by using internet facilities, which can make work easier, whether using websites or cellphone applications. To achieve the expected goals, researchers used a system development model, namely using a waterfall. This model is used for conceptualization at each stage so that the system development procedures that will be created later become clearer. For system design using Flowcharts, DFD, and ERD. By using the Django Web Framework which contains registration and rental of BUMDes assets carried out by tenants online so it is faster and more efficient. Therefore, the results of the creation system will make it easier to register and rent BUMDes assets and also make it easier for BUMDes officers to record tenant data.

Abstract

This article discusses the important role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in developing the PAI curriculum at SMPN 4 Sangkuriman-Tanah Grogot. The article highlights the need for teachers to design a curriculum that meets national education standards and student needs. The article also emphasizes the importance of balancing religious and contemporary aspects in the curriculum. Teachers can identify student needs by observing and interviewing students, parents, and fellow teachers. Evaluating student learning outcomes is also crucial to ensure that the curriculum meets student needs. The article cites several studies that explore the role of PAI teachers in improving student motivation, building student character, and increasing teacher professionalism. These studies provide valuable insights into best practices for developing the PAI curriculum at SMPN 4 Sangkuriman-Tanah Grogot.

Abstract

Traffic accidents were common problems in the implementation of a transportation system, including in West Sumatra Province, Indonesia. Traffic accidents that occur every year were the evidence by the number of traffic accidents that occur every year. One of the causes of traffic violations that result in accidents is the risk of driver fatigue while working. This study analyzed the work-fatigue in the driver of the Intercity in Province bus (AKDP) the scope of this study was all AKDP bus drivers with the origin of Padang City, Bukittinggi City, and Payakumbuh City. Measurement and analysis of work-fatigue were using the reaction timer to light response. The results showed that increasing the number of shifts would increase driver fatigue. 33.33% of drivers run into medium level of fatigue, and 38.89% of drivers run into heavy level of fatigue. The relationship between work-fatigue and the driver's shift correlated very strongly and positively with a correlation value of r = 0.81. The owner of the company needs to take measures to improve management to minimize the level of work on this driver that has the potential to cause traffic accidents.

Abstract

Kecemasan pada ibu hamil dirasakan sejak trimester pertama, di mana kecemasan akibat dari adaptasi terhadap perubahan fisik tubuhnya, rahim yang mulai membesar, dan perubahan pada payudara serta perubahan psikologis. Kecemasan ini berlanjut pada trimester selanjutnya sampai pada trimester tiga sehingga diduga dapat menyebabkan kurang siap menghadapi persalinan nantinya. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kecemasan ibu hamil dengan kesiapan mengadapi persalinan di UPT Puskesmas Prapat Janji Kabupaten Asahan Tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian adalah analitk dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi adalah suami berjumlah 62 orang dan sampel 56 orang ditentukan berdasarkan kriteria. Pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Data dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kecemasan ibu hamil trimester III lebih banyak sedang (73,2%), dan tingkat kecemasan ringan (12,%), sedangkan tingkat kecemasan berat (14,2%). Persiapan menghadapi persalinan lebih banyak siap menghadapi persalinan (76,8%) dan paling sedikit kurang siap (23,2%). Ada hubungan antara tingkat kecemasan ibu hamil dengan persiapan menghadapi persalinan (p 0,004<0,05). Diharapkan tenaga kesehatan dapat memberikan edukasi dan motivasi kepada suami khususnya ibu hamil tentang cara mengatasi kecemasan masa kehamilan untuk menghindari gangguan masa kehamilan dan persalinan.

Abstract

Beauty creators are individuals who create and set trends in the field of beauty content through various media forms such as writing, videos, and photos, which are uploaded on popular platforms. One well-known Beauty creator community is Bali Beauty Blogger, where like-minded Beauty creators gather to create beauty content in various formats, including writing, videos, and photos, which are shared on platforms such as blogs, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. In the digital era and social media landscape, Beauty creators play a significant role in shaping beauty trends and preferences among the millennial generation. By understanding the profile of Beauty creator communities and their strategies, this research aims to provide insights into how they influence and become trendsetters in Denpasar city. The research adopts a qualitative approach, gathering primary data through observation and interviews, and secondary data through documents, literature, and other texts. The data is analyzed using qualitative analysis methods to present the findings and draw conclusions. The results of the research indicate that the growing community in Denpasar city is Bali Beauty Blogger, a Beauty creator community focusing on beauty content creation. Its members actively produce written, video, and photo content uploaded on various platforms such as blogs, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. The community serves as a platform for young Beauty creators in Bali to express their creative ideas in the field of beauty. The research also reveals that Bali Beauty Blogger has a vision to connect brands with the public through brand awareness, and they employ various strategies to sustain their presence.

This research is to describe (1) how is the form of grammatical cohesion in the song lyrics of "Aku Cinta Allah" Band Guardian Group, and (2) how is the form of lexical cohesion in the song lyrics "Aku Cinta Allah" Wali Band Group. Abstract

When the Covid-19 pandemic caused the number of visitors to the Geopark to decline, the Merangin Geopark Management Board made a breakthrough by holding the Geopark Manifesto Art & Edutainment Event since 2022 and promoting it to attract tourists. This article aims to find out the management of event promotion. Using a qualitative research method with a case study approach, this study conducted interviews, literature studies, and documentation to dig deeper into the data. The research subjects were determined by purposive sampling with key informants being Geopark Management Agency staff and supporting informants. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman Model. Data validity test using source triangulation. The results showed that event promotion management was carried out through a series of stages including research, design, planning, coordination, and evaluation. Promotion on Instagram uses invitation sentences and interesting videos. Regional Culture Week is a unique event by combining elements of culture, education, and art. The conclusion of the research is that the management of Merangin Geopark promotion applies an event management approach, Instagram management pays attention to the elements of Chris Heuer's 4C Framework, and event collaboration with regional cultural weeks as an event marketing strategy.

Abstract

This article aims to introduce the development of a simulation model using matlab in the calculation of the bessel function to describe the fraunhofer diffraction pattern in a circular slit. This research method uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method equipped with PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines, this method involves searching, filtering, and analyzing literature from reliable sources to compile a comprehensive theoretical framework. Based on the simulation of circular slit diffraction using matlab application with the same wavelength and different radii of the circle, it shows that the larger the radius of the circle will produce a narrower diffraction pattern, while the smaller the radius of the circle will produce a wider diffraction pattern. Meanwhile, when using the same radius and different wavelengths, it shows that longer wavelengths produce wider diffraction patterns, while shorter wavelengths produce narrower diffraction patterns.
