Abstract

Absorption words are words that are absorbed from foreign languages or regional languages which are then integrated into Indonesian so that they become common words for everyday people. However, people do not know that the words we often use are sometimes not native Indonesian words. Balai Bahasa as a unit whose task is to research the development of Indonesian vocabulary also needs a media that can inform the public about the results of its research related to borrowed words, apart from printed books or a large Indonesian dictionary. The most widely absorbed loanwords into Indonesian are Arabic, Dutch, and English. Therefore, the idea was born to build an application that is useful as a source of knowledge for the community and the media to document the results of loanword research for language halls. The application will be built on the Android platform and using the Java programming language, with a SQLite database. Speech Recognition is done by connecting the Google Speech API with the system, so that the percentage of voice detection becomes text is greater. The resulting application is an Android-based loan word dictionary application that contains 3 foreign languages and is equipped with a voice detection feature that is connected to the google speech API.

Abstract

The reason for this examination was to decide the significance of Mendeley's reference to the board programming and to prepare instructors in arranging references in the planning of logical papers. This exploration is a result of network administration that has been done by teachers at the 1 Medan State Junior High School. This examination technique is subjective with a contextual investigation approach. This investigation requests that the educator record methods of masterminding logical papers in sorting out references utilizing reference the board programming, for example, Mendeley in entering references and gathering a list of sources. The subjects of this investigation were 16 instructors from SMP Negeri 1 Medan. The outcomes got from this examination are that instructors can look for references from sources, for example, Google Scholar, and add to Mendeley references, can improve definite data on the data that has been acquired, and can synchronize the Microsoft Word application. Abstract

Dalam menghadapi persaingan bisnis yang cukup ketat dalam bidang layanan jasa asuransi dibutuhkan suatu strategi yang tepat dalam melakukan pemasaran produknya agar dapat terus bertahan. Adanya faktor perbedaan pada jenis pekerjaan, penghasilan, usia serta jenis kelamin tiap orang tentu mempengaruhi keputusan yang akan diambil termasuk dalam memutuskan untuk memilih suatu produk asuransi yang dibutuhkan. Untuk mempermudah pemasaran produk asuransi diperlukan suatu alat bantu berupa teknologi yang dapat menganalisa karakter dan minat calon nasabah yang akan bergabung di perusahaannya. Salah satu teknologi yang dapat diterapkan dalam hal ini adalah data mining yang merupakan proses mengolah kumpulan data menjadi sebuah pola atau informasi baru yang bernilai. Dengan memanfaatkan data nasabah yang telah terdaftar sebelumnya maka akan didapat informasi baru yang dapat mempelajari pola karakter nasabah yang akan memilih produk asuransi tertentu. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan data nasabah yang telah terdaftar pada PT Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Bumiputera Medan pada tahun 2011-2020 sebagai dataset dalam proses data mining. Aplikasi data mining ini menggunakan Metode Naïve Bayes yang diimplementasikan ke dalam bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySql. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi data mining ini berhasil menunjukkan pola nasabah dalam memilih produk asuransi berdasarkan prinsip metode Naïve Bayes yaitu melihat nilai peluang terbesar.

Abstract

Determining the quality of Gayo 1 coffee seeds with manual calculations can affect time efficiency because manual calculations often result in inconsistent and time-consuming calculations. A decision support system is needed to determine the quality of Gayo 1 coffee seeds with consistent and accurate calculations and processed through computational speed. Applying the AHP-WP method can determine the quality of coffee seeds of the Gayo 1 variety at IP2TP Gayo. The discussion that becomes the focus is the application of the AHP method to determine the weight of the coffee seed criteria. The resulting weight can be continued in the calculation of the WP method to determine the quality of the Gayo 1 coffee seed based on the alternative preference value or vector S. The results of the study provide information regarding the quality of coffee seeds that have been tested for quality.

Abstract

Abstract In this digital era, almost all human activities involve the internet. Certain agencies and fields want all processes in their offices to be fast and practical, as well as acceptance of internships or practical work. Usually, students who are in their 7th semester are required to take practical work courses or internships. the registration process is not short and time-consuming. Starting from students who apply for internships in the Study Program section, students receive a cover letter for practical work which will be brought to the destination agency. Students will bring a cover letter to the institution they are going to and wait for days or even weeks to find out whether their internship application is accepted or not. This makes students have to go back and forth to check whether the practical job application is accepted or not. This complicated and inefficient application process prompted us to develop an internship registration information system to address this problem. Our research uses the Software Development Life Cycle (SLDC) method or the so-called waterfall model. The system created and developed is websie-based using HTML, MySQL database, PHP programming language and Visual Studio Code as text editor. With this system, it is hoped that it will make it easier for companies or general sub-sectional agencies to notify the practice of accepting internships will be accepted or not. Abstract

Di zaman ini, hampir semua aktivitas melibatkan internet. Pesatnya kemajuan teknologi sangat berpengaruh pada instansi untuk mempermudah pekerjaan salahsatunya dalam hal pengarsipan surat. Surat merupakan salah satu media komunikasi yang sangat penting bagi suatu instansi, baik untuk berkomunikasi dengan pihak-pihak secara eksternal maupun internal. Pada dasarnya surat dalam suatu organisasi dibedakan menjadi dua jenis yaitu surat masuk dan surat keluar. kinerja pengarsipan surat masuk dan surat keluar yang ada di Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Mandailing Natal yang sebelumnya masih manual yaitu dengan menulis dibuku besar dan softcopy yang disimpan pada folder komputer di kantor sedangkan hard copynya disimpan di dalam map yang kemudian diletakkan dilemari, sehingga membutuhkan waktu dan tenaga yang cukup lama dan tidak menutup kemungkinan terjadinya data hilang dan kerusakan surat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall, sistem yang dikembangkan berbasis website dengan menggunakan HTML, database, MySQL, bahasa pemprograman PHP dengan teks editor Visual Studio Code. Dengan perancangan sebuah sistem pengarsipan surat masuk surat keluar yang dapat mengelola secara efektif dan efisien. Pengarsipan surat dilakukan secara elektronik, yaitu penyimpanan dokumem softcopy, dan dilengkapi dengan laporan surat masuk dan surat keluar yang dapat meminimalisir kehilangan dan kerusakan surat karena data yang tersimpan di dalam database komputer.

Abstract

The development and utilization of information technology is also used in a way that aims to increase the faith and piety of Muslims in this millennial era. In this digital era, many Muslims are starting to neglect to participate in majlis taklim activities. In this case, the use of the technology used is aimed at increasing the percentage of the majlis taklim congregation which is in the form of a reminder application. This majlis taklim reminder application is an application built using the geofencing method on Android. This application aims to provide reminders in the form of notifications of majlis taklim activities held to users and to make it easier for the majlis taklim committee to disseminate information on the majlis taklim activities that are held. The use of the geofencing method in question is a method used to provide a defined location boundary so as to provide a trigger in the form of a notification to users who are within the boundaries of the area. The notification received by the user is the location of the activity, so it is hoped that this majlis taklim reminder application can increase the percentage of majlis taklim congregations.

Abstract

Licensing of billboards is managed by a government agency, namely the Medan City One Stop Integrated Service and Investment Service (DPMPTSP) in the fields of Licensing, Spatial Planning and Development. This study discusses the problems that occur in the Medan City DPMPTSP regarding mapping and monitoring billboard licensing by utilizing Leaflet JS technology as a medium for integrating maps into the web. The system is equipped with a route feature closest to the billboard location and is equipped with a mapping and a list of road locations that are justified and not allowed for advertising. This study uses Quantum GIS to convert shp files into GeoJSON format and Leaflet JS for map visualization. The system created can make it easier for DPMPTSP to manage and find out the status of billboards quickly and accurately and can provide information related to licensing the installation of billboards to the general public.

Abstract

The State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UINSU) has four campuses spread across several places, one of which is the campus building IV of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra which is located on Jalan Lap.Golf, Kp. Central District, Pancur Batu District, Deli Serdang Regency. There are still many people who don't know about the IV campus building and have never come in person because the UINSU IV campus building has just finished construction and is ready to be occupied in 2021, then the size of the IV UINSU campus can make people who have never come will feel confused about the location the building on campus IV UINSU. This research uses image stitching method to create a panoramic image of the campus building. Virtual tour application can help many people and candidate students and can help reduce confusion about the location of buildings for people who are coming to campus IV for the first time

Abstract

Technological changes to date are growing increasingly rapidly in various fields of life both in the field of health, the field of government, especially in the field of education. The world of education can also undeniably have a rapid impact on the development of technology, one of which is the means of school learning, namely the library. The library provides a platform for every student and student to develop their knowledge insight with various types of books. The use of technology to make library applications is needed in schools. This library application is made web-based and online, in this application will also be made sms reminder so that students are not late in returning books. This will greatly facilitate and speed up the performance of library officers who previously still use ledger records.
