Abstract

Hate speech is a behavior that based on hatred to some tribes, religions, races, ethnic, skin color, believes, or faiths, Hate speech could be a worst impact to individual or social human beings and can be founded in various media. So in that case, social community must be given knowledge aboout impact and dangerous of hate speech. IT volunteers provides educational presentation to anticipating the impact and dangerous of hate speech for partnership that has been cooperated with IT volunteers. The community that has been appertain to do partnership is the community that have interest in culture and technology in focus to country of Japan, this community centered in SMAN 6 Garut highschool that called by Japan Club. For making sure that the educational presentation of the dangerous and impact of hate speech has been delivered successfully to the community, IT volunteers provides a socialitation with different session and a test. Then, statistical hypothesis test conducted by the IT volunteers on purpose for measuring the community knowledge after the socialitation done by every respondent that present in that presentation done by IT volunteers. In conclusion, that result of the dangerous and impact of hate speech presentation has been succesfully understood by the object.

Abstract

Al-Mustofa Tambakbaya Foundation manages an Islamic boarding school as well as a Madrasah Aliyah (MA) and Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTS). Over the past five years, the foundation has experienced fluctuations in the number of new students. This study aims to predict the number of applicants using a linear regression algorithm. The challenge of fluctuating enrollment affects resource planning and curriculum development. The data used includes the number of MA and MTS students from the 2019 to 2023 academic years. This research follows the CRISP-DM stages, starting from business understanding, data collection and preparation, to modeling using linear regression. Model evaluation is done with MAPE, MAE, RMSE, and R-squared. The results show that the model for Regional Domicile and Outside the Region has a MAPE of 8.44% and 12.76%, respectively. The model for MTS students has a MAPE of 6.26% and an R-squared of 91.27%, while the MA student model shows the lowest performance with a MAPE of 20.56% and an R-squared of 21.20%. Predictions for the 2024 academic year show significant growth, especially in regional domicile and MA students. This research offers a practical solution to address fluctuations in enrollment and educational planning at Al-Mustofa Tambakbaya Foundation, as well as highlighting the need for model improvements to increase accuracy in the future.

Abstract

Tourism has great potential in driving economic growth through job creation, income enhancement, and positive impacts on various related sectors such as handicrafts, accommodation, and transportation. Garut Regency, located in the southern part of West Java Province, is increasingly recognized for its natural tourist destinations that remain unspoiled and attract many visitors. However, the surge in visitor numbers at these destinations has posed several challenges, including overcrowding that reduces comfort and safety, as well as a decline in service quality due to high demand. Inadequate infrastructure, such as transportation and parking facilities, is also an issue that needs to be addressed. To assist the local government in preparing for future increases in visitor numbers, this study utilizes the Linear Regression algorithm to predict the number of tourist visits to Garut Regency. This algorithm is chosen for its ability to measure the relationship between the dependent variable (number of visitors) and independent variables (factors influencing visits). Data collection is carried out by grouping the number of visitors based on tourist categories, resulting in more accurate and relevant prediction models. The research findings show that the linear regression model can generate predictions with a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 11,406.37, Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 6.449, Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 282,815,506.30, and Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) of 16,817.12. The R-squared (R²) value of 0.9346 indicates that the model can explain approximately 93.46% of the data variance, demonstrating good predictive performance. However, the relatively high MAPE value indicates inconsistencies in the dataset, likely caused by very small or zero actual values. This prediction is expected to assist the Garut Regency Tourism Office in strategic planning and decision-making, such as infrastructure preparation, service quality improvement, and tourism promotion planning. This study also opens up opportunities for further development using other prediction algorithms to achieve more optimal results.

Abstract

Abstrak. Sirnajaya merupakan salah satu desa yang berada di kecamatan Pasirwangi kabupaten Garut provinsi Jawa Barat. Beberapa produk unggulan desa Sirnajaya antara lain Sumpia Arni, Sumpia Denay, dan beberapa kopi asli Garut memiliki potensi untuk diminati oleh pasar global. Keterbatasan penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menjadi hambatan pemasaran produk secara global. Kegiatan Pandu Digital goes to Villages dilaksanakan untuk membangun minat, pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat desa Sirnajaya agar dapat memanfaatkan online marketplace dan social media untuk pemasaran online. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tahapan indentifikasi permasalahan, penciptaan kapasitas, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan berhasil meningkatkan minat, pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat. Minat masyarakat yang lebih cenderung kepada hiburan online harus ditindaklanjuti dengan menunjukan contoh penerapan di desa Sirnajaya yang berhasil meningkatkan pendapatan.

Abstract

Tantangan Bebras merupakan kegiatan kompetisi secara daring (online). Kegiatan ini bertujuan agar siswa belajar Computational Thinking selama maupun setelah lomba. Tantangan Bebras menyajikan soal-soal yang mendorong siswa untuk berpikir kreatif dan kritis dalam menyelesaikan persoalan dengan menerapkan konsep-konsep berpikir komputasional. Program Studi Teknik Informatika Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Garut merupakan salah satu Mitra/Biro National Board Organization Bebras Indonesia yang menyelenggarakan tantangan ini sejak Tahun 2016. Pelaksanaan Tantangan Bebras di Kabupaten Garut diikuti oleh sekolah-sekolah mulai dari tingkat dasar, menengah sampai atas. Hasil Tantangan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir komputasi siswa-siswa sekolah di Kabupaten Garut.

Abstract

Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge atau Tantangan Bebras merupakan suatu kegiatan kompetisi untuk mengukur kemampuan cara berpikir komputasi dengan cara menyelesaikan soal-soal mengenai computational thinking yang disajikan melalui uraian dengan disertai gambar yang menarik. Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Garut sebagai salah satu Biro dari Bebras Indonesia telah menyelenggarakan kegiatan ini sejak tahun 2016 hingga saat ini. Pada Tantangan tahun 2020 jumlah peserta Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge berjumlah 724 siswa yang terdiri dari 95 siswa Sekolah Dasar/MI, 313 siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama/MTs, 316 siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas/SMK/MA. Terdapat 42 sekolah yang mengikuti kegiatan Tantangan Bebras tahun 2020. Hasil kompetisi menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir komputasi pada siswa-siswa di Garut sudah cukup tinggi dengan pencapaian nilai 100 untuk kategori Sikecil dan 90,28 untuk kategori Siaga.

Abstract

Pada masa pandemi secara tidak langsung menghambat aktivitas masyarakat sehari-hari. Aktivitas sekolah, bekerja maupun lainnya dilakukan menggunakan teknologi digital. Penggunaan teknologi digital seperti sosial media dan marketplace belum sepenuhnya dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat untuk kegiatan produktif. Produk atau jasa yang dihasilkan masyarakat desa dapat ditawarkan melalui cara digital. Namun hal ini masih terkendala dengan pengetahuan masyarakat yang menggunakan sosial media hanya untuk tujuan non produktif. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan sosial media dan marketplace di desa Sukasono Kabupatan Garut untuk memasarkan produk dan jasa. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan dan bimbingan kepada masyarakat melalui kegiatan webinar, bimbingan, pre test & post test sebagai bahan evaluasi. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan ini adalah dapat menunjukan adanya peningkatan terhadap pengetahuan mengenai pemasaran produk ataupun jasa dengan media teknologi untuk menunjang produkivitas di masa pandemi.

Abstract

Informasi kehadiran merupakan hal penting untuk disajikan pada aktivitas organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sebuah aplikasi yang menampilkan informasi kehadiran secara visual dengan cara pendeteksian wajah berteknologi augmented reality. Bentuk sajian visual memberikan kemudahan menangkap informasi bagi penggunanya dan lebih menarik secara tampilan. Metode Research and Development digunakan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi, terdiri dari tahapan Preliminary, Protopyping Stage, Summative Evaluation, Systematic Reflection and Documentation. Penelitian dilakukan pada sebuah sekolah dengan melibatkan sepuluh guru sebagai sampel. Perangkat lunak pendukung yang digunakan yaitu Unity versi 5, Adobe Photoshop. Hasil Penelitian berupa aplikasi penyajian informasi kehadiran dengan cara pendeteksian wajah penggunanya. Aplikasi menggunakan teknologi augmented reality yang dijalankan pada perangkat mobile. Cara akses dengan pendeteksian wajah menjadi alternatif dalam kemudahan akses. Material yang dibutuhkan pada pembuatan fitur ini dengan opencv berupa pustaka perangkat lunak untuk pengolahan gambar dinamis secara real-time, banyak fitur pengenalan wajah, deteksi wajah, dan berbagai jenis metode artificial intelegence. Fitur augmented reality dengan penambahan fungsi, dimana kamera terarah ke subjek maka muncul informasi kehadiran. Hasil pengujian aplikasi dengan melibatkan ahli dan pengguna, aplikasi dapat diterima dengan baik dari sisi kemudahan mengoperasikan, tingkat toleransi kesalahan, kesesuaian dan desain visual. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan mengintegrasikan bukan hanya informasi kehadiran, tapi sajian informasi lainnya pada organisasi.

Abstract

The Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) is an assistance in the form of cash from the government given to students whose parents are less able to finance their education, as a continuation and expansion of the targets of the Poor Student Assistance (BSM) program. KIP has a goal, namely to increase access for children aged 6 (six) to 21 (twenty-one years) to obtain educational services until they graduate from high school to support the implementation of Universal Secondary Education / Pilot Compulsory Education 12 (twelve) years, prevent students from the possibility of dropping out of school or not continuing their education due to economic difficulties. The KIP-Kuliah, formerly known as Bidikmisi, is presently in service. They may find it difficult to determine who is a qualified candidate to become a recommendation for KIP-Kuliah recipients who will be presented to the system since many variables and assessments will be passed in determining the prospective KIP-Kuliah recipients. Therefore, from this problem, a system is needed that can quickly and accurately assess the eligibility of KIP-Lecture recipients without having to sort out the files that have been collected one by one. As a result, it is deemed necessary to develop a decision-making system to address the existing issues. The steps of research that will be carried out to create a decision support system will collect criteria and sub-criteria from the assessment and then enter them into the calculation formula or method employed, namely the AHP method.
