Abstract

Abstrak: Pemanfaatan teknologi yang semakin masif ditambah dengan keberadaan pandemi COVID-19 salah satunya mempengaruhi pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji format media microlearning yang digunakan di perguruan tinggi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa perguruan tinggi memiliki potensi untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar microlearning dengan berbagai format seperti (1) podcast, (2) slide PowerPoint, (3) infografis, (4) motion graphics, (5) video explainer, serta (6) video conference interaktif dan gamifikasi, sebagai bentuk inovasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Upaya tersebut dilakukan untuk mengatasi kejenuhan belajar yang terjadi akibat pandemi dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang semakin berkembang.Abstract: The increasingly massive use of technology coupled with the presence of the COVID-19 pandemic has influenced the implementation of online learning. This study aims to examine the format of microlearning media used in universities. The method used is observation and literature study. The results of this study indicate that universities have the potential to develop microlearning teaching materials in various formats such as (1) podcasts, (2) PowerPoint slides, (3) infographics, (4) motion graphics, (5) explainer videos, and (6) interactive video conferencing and gamification, as a form of innovation in the learning process. These efforts were made to overcome the boredom of learning that occurred due to the pandemic by utilizing increasingly developing information and communication technology.

Abstract

Background of the study: X is a social media used mainly by the public as a source of information and can fulfill its users' information needs, including the @literarybase account, which discusses literature and books. Through this, it is expected to increase information literacy skills through information search activities to meet the information needs of its users. Purpose: This study aims to determine the role of auto-base @literarybase in meeting the information literacy needs of its followers. Method: The method used is quantitative with survey techniques. Data was collected online through the distribution of Google form questionnaires to followers of the @literarybase account with a Likert scale as a measurement, and analysis was carried out descriptively. Findings: The @literarybase account has played a role in meeting the information needs and training the information literacy skills of its followers. In content gratification, the @literarybase account fulfills the needs of information sharing and information seeking. In the gratification process, the @literarybase account fulfills entertainment, pass time, escape, habit, and self-expression needs. In social gratification, the @literarybase account fulfills the information needs through social interaction. Finally, regarding technology gratification, the @literarybase account fulfills information needs in the form of relative advantage. Conclusion: The @literarybase account has played a role in meeting information needs and training information literacy skills for its account followers. However, several aspects still need to be fully met, such as the need for self-document in content gratification, the need for campaigns in process gratification, the need for status seeking in social gratification, and the need for social compliance in technology gratification.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh desain media PowerPoint interaktif terhadap minat belajar mahasiswa serta bagaimana pengaruh desain media PowerPoint interaktif terhadap minat belajar mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini didasarkan pada frekuensi seringnya penggunaan media PowerPoint dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hipotesis penulis, terdapat pengaruh media PowerPoint interaktif terhadap minat belajar mahasiswa. Pengaruh ini bersifat positif, artinya media PowerPoint interaktif dapat meningkatkan minat belajar mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner online yang disebarluaskan kepada sasaran yang telah ditentukan. Adapun sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Terdapat sebanyak 40 responden dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dapat diketahui bahwa perbedaan desain media dalam PowerPoint interaktif dapat meningkatkan minat belajar mahasiswa. Abstract This research was conducted to determine the influence of design in interactive Powerpoint media on student learning interest and how the influence of interactive Powerpoint media on student learning interest. The purpose of this study is based on the frequency of use of Powerpoint media in the learning process. Based on the author's hypothesis, there is an influence of interactive Powerpoint media on students' interest in learning. This influence is positive, meaning that interactive Powerpoint media can increase student interest in learning. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with data collection techniques using online questionnaires that are distributed to predetermined targets. The target of this research is active students from various universities in Indonesia.  There are a total of 40 respondents in this research. The results of this research indicate that the difference in design of interactive PowerPoint media can increase students' learning interest.

Abstract

Regarding promotional activities, almost all museums in Bandung use social media as a means of promoting the existence and activities of their museums. The results of the analysis of website ownership show that five of the eleven museums in the city of Bandung do not or do not have a website. Museum as an open institution frees the public to access information owned by the museum and as a source of information, museums need to think about how the information they have can be accessed and utilized by the public. To determine the types of information needs about a promotion that is needed by the community, an analysis is needed related to the elements that must be owned in promotional activities, namely attention, interest, search, action, and share which are then shortened to AISAS. This study uses descriptive analysis with data collection using questionnaires and interviews. The research participants consisted of the general public and the head of the museum. The results showed that the most sought-after information was promotional information related to elements (1) search, (2) attention, (3) interest, (4) action, and (5) share, with the type of promotional information related to location. museums, museum opening hours, interesting promotional content, and also the presence of multimedia content. The analysis process involving the head of the museum also provides additional information in the form of the availability of supporting technology and the availability of human resources which adds to the fact that content in promotional activity is not everything.

Abstract

The development and emergence of social media have pushed literacy and language activities in new directions. The increasing social media usage affects various language literacy activities by optimizing the existence of social media. This study aimed to determine the relationship between social media usage and the improvement of language literacy, especially in language learning, so there would be recommendations in the form of efforts to improve language literacy skills. This research would fill gaps in understanding how social media features and activities could effectively develop language literacy. Data collection used the literature study method from primary and secondary sources discussing literacy, language learning, and social media. The literature found was checked first, organized, and matched with the thematic framework to continue content analysis and description. Social media had many opportunities as a facilitator of language literacy development, and its presence would push other activities to perform better. It needed a proper method to make the result significant, notably for the incredible impact on language learning. So, apart from being a means of developing language learning, social media can also have the negative side of damaging the user's first language because other languages and cultures absorb it. Other factors such as family contribution, educational background and its influence on first and second language learning, sociological side, and all learning obstructions should be addressed when developing language skills. The study’s findings will provide recommendations for utilizing social media platforms to enhance reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The development of Tiktok learning media is in line with the current digital era. This gives rise to social media that can be a learning medium because social media attracts attention and is close to the millennial generation who are indeed attached to the digital world. One of the social media that is currently popular is the Tiktok application. Tiktok can be an interesting and fun learning medium. The use of the Tiktok application as a learning medium is expected to help students and educators in learning. Therefore, this study aims to show that Tiktok social media can be an alternative and interactive learning media in online learning. The method used is a literature study by analyzing fourteen articles relevant to the development of TikTok as a learning medium. The results of the study show that the use of Tiktok social media as a learning medium can increase the activeness and creativity of students in the online learning process. Students can freely express their creativity through Tiktok with various features, thus making Tiktok as an effective learning medium in creating interactive online learning. This research is influential in making Tiktok social media as an interactive learning media for educators and students in online learning

Abstract

AbstractSocial media is one of the places to be able to access information, it is so popularly used by the people of Indonesia. In addition to being able to access existing information, users can also share any information the findings from Ipos state that Indonesia is ranked 2nd in the behavior of sharing anything on social media, unfortunately many of them do not understand the dangers of excessive sharing of privacy on social media which is known as oversharing. The role of an institution is needed to be able to educate about privacy to the public. Institutions that have this potential are libraries. This is the background of this study to further analyze the potential of libraries on the phenomenon of oversharing in society. The method used is library research or literature study, namely bibliographic research and scientific systematics which include collecting bibliographic materials including books or other readings related to the research objectives. The results of the study show that the library as an information provider with high credibility has the potential to be the front line to the protector for users related to privacy on social media. Libraries can raise awareness little by little about the importance of protecting personal information on social media. Thus, users can know and understand the consequences and potential of various publicly available information. For this reason, further user education that can be held by the library regarding privacy literacy is needed to be able to explain and explain the existing understanding of privacy literacy.AbstrakMedia sosial menjadi salah satu tempat untuk dapat mengakses informasi, begitu populer digunakan oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Selain dapat mengakses informasi yang ada pengguna juga dapat membagikan informasi apa saja. Temuan dari Ipos menyebutkan Indonesia berada pada peringkat 2 pada perilaku membagikan apa saja di media sosial, sayangnya banyak dari mereka tidak memahami bahayanya jika berlebihan membagikan privasi di media sosial yang dikenal dengan oversharing. Dibutuhkannya peran suatu lembaga untuk dapat mengedukasi perihal privasi ke masyarakat. Lembaga yang memiliki potensi tersebut adalah perpustakaan. Hal tersebut yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini untuk menganalisis lebih lanjut mengenai potensi perpustakaan pada fenomena oversharing di masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan metode penelitian kajian pustaka atau studi kepustakaan, yaitu cara penelitian bibliografi serta sistematis ilmiah yang meliputi, mengumpulkan bahan bahan bibliografi diantaranya adalah buku ataupun bacaan lainnya yang berkaitan dengan sasaran penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan sebagai penyedia informasi dengan kredibilitas yang tinggi memiliki potensi menjadi garda terdepan sampai dengan pelindung bagi pemustaka terkait dengan privasi di media sosial. Perpustakaan dapat menyadarkan sedikit demi sedikit mengenai pentingnya melindungi informasi pribadi di media social. Dengan demikian, pemustaka dapat mengetahui dan memahami konsekuensi dan potensi dari berbagai informasi yang ada secara publik. Untuk itu, diperlukanedukasi pemustaka lebih lanjut yang dapat diselenggarakan oleh perpustakaan mengenai literasi privasi untuk dapat menjelaskan dan memaparkan mengenai pemahaman literasi privasi yang ada.

Abstract

The school library plays a role in fulfilling information needs and improving the quality of teachers and students to achieve school goals. One of the high schools in Bandung City that has to carry out this role is Pasundan 8 High School. The school library concerned still needs to meet the standards, one of which is the standard collection aspect. Collection development can be done so that the collections owned by the library are diverse. The method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative method with data collection through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data were obtained from one source: library staff, three teachers, and seven students. The results show that the types of collections that can be developed are collections of fiction, non-fiction, and references. The library manager can do collection floating by submitting a request to the school or cooperating with other information institutions. In addition, library managers can also participate in various trainings so that they can develop collections in a digital direction. This is done so that groups in the library are more diverse and of higher quality for the entire school community.

Abstract

Introduction. Museum Pendidikan Nasional (Musdiknas) carries out activities that utilize websites and social media by showing virtual reality content in education in Indonesia to meet visitors' information needs. This research aims to examine virtual reality's potential in meeting museum visitors' information needs. Research Methods. Quantitative methods were used with students of the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia who had accessed the Musdiknas virtual reality with a total of 316 people as participants. Data Analysis. Data from questionnaires, observations, and literature studies were used for descriptive data analysis. Results. Musdiknas virtual reality and social media have the characteristics of programmable participation, natural semantics, and constructivism to support efforts to meet visitors' information needs. Visitors use Musdiknas virtual reality as a learning tool to gain the experience and knowledge they need to meet their information needs. Conclusion. Musdiknas strives to continue developing its environment by utilizing virtual reality as a form of adaptation to technology, providing meaning and experience through exhibitions that are displayed and accessed remotely, thereby meeting the information needs of museum visitors. Further, researchers can measure the relationship and influence between variables and research the use of virtual reality at other museum locations.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires school libraries to play an active role in strengthening students’ digital literacy. This study aims to examine how school libraries enhance students’ digital literacy amid the rapid growth of information technology. This research adopts a qualitative approach using an intrinsic case study method conducted at SDIP Ummul Mukminin, Bandung. Data were collected through comprehensive interviews with librarians and educators, as well as direct observation of the library’s conditions. The findings indicate that digitalization efforts have begun through the provision of computer facilities and digital learning modules. However, digital transformation has not yet been implemented optimally, as collection management and circulation services are still conducted manually and are not supported by digital collections, such as e-books and interactive learning platforms. In addition, students’ digital literacy is strengthened through the integration of Islamic values and ethical principles taught by teachers and librarians. This study emphasizes that the development of digital libraries requires the contextual integration of technology, the enhancement of librarians’ competencies, the diversification of digital collections, and a sustained commitment from all school stakeholders.   Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi digital menuntut perpustakaan sekolah untuk berperan aktif dalam mendukung penguatan literasi digital murid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perpustakaan berperan dalam memperkuat kemampuan literasi digital murid di tengah pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus intrinsik di SDIP Ummul Mukminin, Bandung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara komprehensif bersama pustakawan dan tenaga pendidik, serta observasi langsung terhadap kondisi perpustakaan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya digitalisasi telah mulai dilakukan melalui penyediaan fasilitas komputer dan modul digital. Namun, transformasi digital belum berjalan secara optimal karena pengelolaan koleksi dan layanan peminjaman masih dilakukan secara manual serta belum didukung oleh ketersediaan koleksi digital seperti e-book dan platform pembelajaran interaktif. Selain itu, literasi digital pada murid diperkuat dengan penanaman nilai-nilai dan etika keislaman yang diajarkan oleh guru dan pustakawan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pengembangan perpustakaan digital memerlukan integrasi teknologi yang kontekstual, peningkatan kompetensi pustakawan, diversifikasi koleksi digital, serta komitmen berkelanjutan dari seluruh pemangku kepentingan sekolah. Kata Kunci: integrasi teknologi; literasi digital; perpustakaan sekolah dasar
