Abstract

This study aims to develop a differentiated learning model in inclusive education to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile, which can be a practical guide for teachers. The method used in this study is the design approach, which has four stages of research, namely initial research to obtain an overview of the implementation of differentiated learning, conducting literature reviews, developing model designs, validating, and testing. The subjects of this study are principals and teachers of elementary schools in Boyolali Central Java. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews, and focus group discussions (FGD). The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. Based on the results of the development, the model is named the Pancasila Differentiated Learning Model, which contains model description and its syntax consisting of 5 stages; understanding the student, preparing the options, providing the options to the students, observing & supporting, and reflecting. Two experts have validated the model with good results. In addition, it has been tested on four school principals and eight elementary school teachers with excellent results. Based on the results of validation and trials, it can be concluded that the Pancasila differentiated learning model can be implemented in the school setting.

Abstract

Students' collaborative skills can be improved by applying the Problem based learning model and differentiation learning in mathematics subjects. This study is entitled Improving Collaborative Skills Using the Problem based learning Model in Differentiated Learning of Mathematics Subjects for Grade IV Students of SD Negeri Mlilir 01. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis & MC Taggart model which is carried out in two cycles. In each cycle there are four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Based on the results of the study in cycle I, it shows that the results of group discussions obtained a percentage of 76.44% and the results of group attitude observations obtained 76.90%. Thus, the results of collaboration skills in cycle I obtained a percentage of 76.67%. In cycle II, the results of group discussions obtained a percentage of 84.42% and the results of group attitude observations obtained 80.98%. Thus, the results of collaboration skills in cycle II obtained a percentage of 82.70%. From these data, it can be seen that there was an increase in the percentage of collaboration skills from 76.67% to 82.70%. This proves that the researcher has succeeded in achieving the established collaboration skills indicator of 80%.

Abstract

This research was prompted by observations of the potential for enhancing thisability among fourth-grade students at SD Gendongan 01 Salatiga. The objectiveof this classroom action research (CAR) was to improve students' creative thinkingability through the application of a differentiated learning approach integrated withthe Discovery Learning model. The study employed a CAR design implemented intwo cycles with [19] students. The action research learning integrating theDiscovery Learning syntax with strategies for process and product differentiation.Data were collected through observation, creative thinking tests, and productassessment, then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed asignificant improvement in students' creative thinking ability. At the end of Cycle 1,the distribution of creativity levels was: 36.8% highly creative, 47.4% creative, and15.8% sufficiently creative. Following refinements to the intervention, Cycle 2results showed 63.2% highly creative and 36.8% creative, with no studentsremaining in the sufficiently creative category. This improvement indicated thatDiscovery Learning provides an effective exploratory framework when combinedwith differentiation that accommodates individual needs through process andproduct adjustments. Abstract

The classroom action research in this paper aims to increase students’ critical thinking and learning outcomes in Social Science learning subjects in Grade 5A of SD Kristen 3 Eben Haezer Salatiga in the second semester of the academic year 2022/2023 by implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The research findings reveal that the application of PBL had a significant positive impact. The student’s critical thinking skills indicate improvement with the students’ percentage in the high and very high categories increasing from 30% to 62% in cycle 1, and achieving 81% in cycle 2. Moreover, the implementation of PBL successfully increased the percentage of students who achieved learning achievement from 26.92% to 92.31%. There was also an improvement in the average student scores from 55 to 84.29 in cycle 2. The steps of the PBL model applied in the research of this paper included orienting students to the problem, organizing students to conduct research, guiding independent or group investigations, developing and presenting work results, as well as analyzing and evaluating problem-solving processes. Thus, it can be concluded that the PBL model is effective in increasing students’ critical thinking and learning outcomes in the Social Science learning subject in Grade 5A of SD Kristen 3 Eben Haezer Salatiga. The implication of the research is that the PBL model can be utilized as an effective alternative toimprove student’s critical thinking and learning outcomes in Social Science learning.

Abstract

This paper discusses the implementation of the mind mapping-assisted problem based learning model in improving Social Science learning outcomes for students at grade 5B students of SD Kristen 03 Eben Haezer Salatiga. The method used in the classroom action research was carried out in two cycles with a number of 26 students in grade 5B of SD Kristen 03 Eben Haezer Salatiga. Data were collected using values from post-tests from each cycle to find out or test using the implementation of the problem-based learning model assisted by mind mapping to improve social science learning outcomes for students at grade 5B of SD Kristen 03 Eben Haezer Salatiga and uses observation sheets of teacher’s activities and students’ activities to determine the implementation of the mind mapping-assisted problem-based learning model that during teaching and learning process in the classroom. There is an increasing percentage of students who completed the preliminary implementation of 8 students with a percentage of 30.77% who completed and increased to 12 students with a percentage of 46.15% who completed the first cycle. In addition, it increased to 21 students with a percentage of 80.1% who completed the second cycle. The results are based on the whole students. Therefore, the implementation of the PBL learning model assisted by Mind Mapping has been proven to be able to improve students’ learning outcomes and has achieved the indicators with 80% of students who achieved learning completeness.

Abstract

Example Non Example is applied to improve the fifth-grade students’ learning outcomes at Eben Haezer Salatiga Christian Elementary School 03. The research used a classroom action research approach, which was conducted in 2 cycles. The research involved 26 students in class 5C of SD Kristen 03 Eben Haezer Salatiga. Data collection included posttest scores for each cycle to test the effectiveness of the Example Non Example method in improving social science learning outcomes for students in class 5C. In addition, an observation sheet was also used to observe the activities of teachers and students in the application of the Example Non-Example method. The research results indicate that an increasing value of the number of students who achieved learning completeness initially from 11 students (42.31%) increased to 18 students (69.23%) in cycle I, and subsequently increased to 23 students (88.46%) in cycle II. The application of the Example Non-Example method succeeded to improve learning outcomes and achieved indicator completeness, which was 88% of students who reached learning completeness. Hence, it can be concluded that applying the Example Non-Example method can improve 5C students’ learning outcomes at Eben Haezer Salatiga Christian Elementary School 03
