Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of leverage, corporate governance and capital intensity on tax avoidance in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2023. Samples were taken using the purposive sampling method. The population in this research is all mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2023. From this population of 43 mining companies, 9 mining companies were obtained as samples. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The test results show that the variable profitability, leverage has a positive effect on tax avoidance. The board of commissioners and the audit committee as proxies of corporate governance as well as the capital intensity variable also show a positive influence on tax avoidance

Abstract

Regional Original Revenue is “all revenues received by the region obtained from various existing in the region, collected in accordance with applicable laws and regulations”. Remaining Budget Financing is “the difference between the realization of budget revenues and expenditures in one period. The purpose of this study was to test and analyze the effect of Local Original Revenue and Remaining Budget Financing on Local Government Financial Performance. The sample of this study was 33 districts / cities in North Sumatra province in 2018 - 2022 and obtained a total of 165 observation data. The sample technique used was saturated sample. According to the findings of this study, Local Revenue has a significant positive effect on Local Government Financial Performance, but Remaining Budget Financing has a significant negative impact. Simultaneously or together, Local Revenue and Budget Financing Surplus have a significant positive impact on Local Government Financial Performance. The two independent variables, Regional Original Revenue and Remaining Budget Financing, can account for 30.9% of the Local Government Financial Performance variable, with the remaining 69.1% explained by variables not included in the study

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Budget Goal Clarity, Village Apparatus Competence, and Village Government Leadership on Village Fund Management Accountability. In addition, this study also aims to test whether the Whistleblowing variable moderates the relationship between Budget Goal Clarity, Village Apparatus Competence, and Village Government Leadership on Village Fund Management Accountability in Villages in Salapian District, Langkat Regency. This study uses quantitative methods, the sample collection technique in this study is to use a questionnaire, the population and sample in this study were village officials in Salapian District, Langkat Regency many as 80 village officials with sampling techniques, namely probability sampling. The data were analyzed using the Moderated regression analysis method with interaction tests. The results of the partial test hypothesis show that budget target clarity affects the accountability of village fund management, the competence of village officials affects the accountability of village fund management and village government leadership affects the accountability of village fund management. The results of the simultaneous test hypothesis show that the clarity of budget targets, the competence of village officials, and village government leadership, have a positive and significant effect on the accountability of village fund management. MRA analysis shows that whistleblowing is able to moderate the competence of village officials on the accountability of village fund management, while whistleblowing is not able to moderate the clarity of budget targets and village government leadership on the accountability of village fund management.

Abstract

Tax volunteers are a government program, especially the Directorate General of Taxes, to increase tax inclusion in society. The Indonesian Methodist University recruited UMI students to become tax volunteer candidates, then conducted interviews and written tests. The Kanwil will inaugurate the tax volunteers who pass the selection. Tax volunteers this year apart from helping to increase tax awareness and assistance with filling out the SPT and reporting it, they also help socialize and assist in matching NIK-NPWP.

Abstract

The campus tax volunteer value chain refers to the contributions and benefits provided by active tax volunteers to help in providing tax information and knowledge and also assist in reporting taxpayers' tax returns. Volunteers give guidance to individuals or groups who need assistance in managing their taxes, such as filling out tax returns or understanding tax rights and obligations. Regional Office of DJP Sumbagut I will give awards and recognition to tax volunteers who have contributed significantly to increasing tax awareness in the community.

Abstract

Someone is said to be superior when they have something that other people don't have, do something better than other people, or are able to do something that other people can't do and achieve something that other people can't achieve, and in this era full of competition like today, people use various ways to outperform others. Being superior it's prestigious, but having superiority achieved by violating morals and noble values is certainly not a commendable thing. In the midst of the moral crisis occurring in the general public, especially generation Z, such as; bullying, violence among teenagers, blurring of good and bad morals, dishonesty become commonplace, fanatical attitudes towards certain groups, low respect for parents and teachers, high levels of self-destructive behavior such as use of drugs, alcohol, gambling and free sex, bad language easily blurted out; cursing, scolding, ridicule, blasphemy, slander, swearing, without paying attention to other people's feelings, mutual suspicion, low level of concern, it is easy for hatred to arise between people. St. Yoseph High School Medan, one of the best schools in the city of Medan, is very sensitive to what is happening in society today, but is optimistic that it is not too late to improve it. Located in the St Yoseph Medan High School Hall, holding training in the form of seminars for Class XII students, aimed at broadening their knowledge about the importance of having personal integrity and good character that will lead them to become a superior generation, and not taking actions that can harm themselves, their families, the surrounding community, as well as the nation and state.

Abstract

The purpose of this training is to increase the accounting knowledge of village heads and village officials so that they can record village financial transactions properly and accurately. There are several stages in conducting philanthropy: preparation, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. Findings from interviews with village heads and village officials regarding village financial management include: Planning Stage: At this stage, village heads and village organizations identify local problems and respond to community suggestions through the Village Consultative Body (BPD) and community leaders. Implementation Stage: After the activity implementation file is complete, the activity implementation file is ready to be submitted. Administration Stage: The treasurer must report how much his income and expenses are and detail what the funds are used for. Reporting Stage: At the reporting stage, the village treasurer is responsible and obliged to record and book properly account for money through financial accountability reports at the end of each month. Accountability Stage: The village head is basically responsible to the residents and the accountability process is passed through the Camat to the Regent/Mayor.

Abstract

The Ruwatan Bumi ceremony, part of the G20 Culture Ministers Meeting and Indonesia Festival Bertutur 2022, took place at Borobudur Temple, Central Java, in September 2022. Featuring a traditional ruwatan ritual, the event showcased live prayers, songs, and music from diverse Indonesian regions. Recording traditional music, vital for performance and rehearsal, was undertaken through a field recording approach. Beluk, tarawangsa, and Ronggeng Gunung were recorded using stereo and close-range methods. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the study emphasized the significance of mastering recording techniques for informed decision-making. It highlighted the coherence between initial information, field observations, and recording quality in designing the Ruwatan Bumi G20 Culture performance.

Abstract

The research is aimed at analyzing the influence of liquidity, profits, debt policy and operating leverage on price to book value. A population of 73 manufacturing companies in the basic industrial and chemical sectors listed on the Indonesian stock exchange, 43 companies were sampled for research using purposive sampling. Research data was obtained from the site www.idx.co.id. Furthermore, the data obtained was processed using SPSS version 26. The results stated that liquidity partially had a positive but not significant effect on Price to Book Value. Profit and debt policy partially have a positive and significant effect on Price to Book Value. Operating leverage partially has a negative and insignificant effect on Price to Book Value. Liquidity, Profit, Debt Policy and Operating Leverage simultaneously have a significant effect on Price to Book Value.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the company's financial performance in terms of liquidity, activity, profitability and solvency aspects before and after going public and being listed on the IDX. A population of 51 companies listed on the IDX in 2020, a total of 22 companies were used as samples in this study. The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling method. The data used in this research was obtained from visits to www.idx.co.id and the company's main website. The collected data was then run using the SPSS version 26 program. The research found that the current ratio and net profit margin, two measures of a company's financial health, changed significantly between the pre-IPO and post-IPO periods. Financial metrics such as total asset turnover and debt-to-equity ratio did not change between the pre- and post-IPO periods for the company.
