Abstract

The learning process and traditional teaching materials include activities that require memory and memorization. Most students are trained to follow this low-level thinking pattern in schools including vocational schools. When computers take over the routine tasks at work, a number of employees will be involved in tasks that require them to be more flexible and creative in solving problems. For this reason, the vocational school learning system must encourage students to become critical thinkers, through appropriate learning strategies. The purpose of this study was to test the validity of the Plan-Do-Review-Share-Happy (Plandoresh) strategy stages in the development for critical thinking of vocational students. This study used a descriptive method with the aim of obtaining the validity of the Plandoresh strategy stages from vocational school teachers with a random sample of 62 respondents. The results showed that: 1) Plan stage is valid with r count > r table of 0.845 > 0.254, 2) Do stage is valid with r count> r table of 0.889, 3) Review stage is valid with r count > r table of 0.866, 4) Share stage is valid with r count > r table of 0.880, 5) Happy stage is valid with r count > r table of 0.920. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the stages of the Plandores strategy are valid to be applied as a learning strategy for vocational students.

Abstract

Teaching Factory (TEFA) is a production-based learning model that aims to align student skills with industry needs. This study analyzes the readiness and implementation of TEFA in the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program at Surabaya State University to improve 21st-century skills in the digital era. Using a simple random sampling method with 44 respondents, the data were analyzed using Rasch modeling because of its accurate measurement in identifying the level of response suitability. The results show that the educational aspect of TEFA received a very positive response, reflecting the contribution of this program in supporting the development of 21st-century competencies, including critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, character, and civic engagement. Students are trained to think critically and solve real problems so that they are ready to face industry challenges. However, the marketing aspect needs to be improved so that information about TEFA is better known and this program gets more comprehensive support from the community. With a more effective promotion strategy, opportunities for collaboration with external parties can increase, and more students can be involved, strengthening the collaboration and communication aspects of 21st-century competencies. Overall, TEFA not only helps students master technical skills but also strengthens 21st-century competencies that are relevant and applicable in the professional world

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya kemandirian belajar siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di era digital. Media pembelajaran interaktif seperti Google Sites diyakini dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar yang fleksibel, menarik, dan mendukung pengembangan kemandirian siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan Google Sites terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa serta membandingkan tingkat kemandirian belajar siswa yang menggunakan media ini dengan yang tidak. Rumusan masalah penelitian adalah: (1) Apakah penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif Google Sites berpengaruh terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa? (2) Apakah terdapat perbedaan kemandirian belajar siswa antara media pembelajaran interaktif Google Sites dengan tanpa media tersebut? Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 120 siswa Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di SMKN 7 Surabaya. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling, dengan 33 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol dan 34 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif Google Sites berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa. Siswa di kelas eksperimen memiliki tingkat kemandirian belajar yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa di kelas kontrol. Selain itu, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemandirian belajar siswa yang menggunakan Google Sites dan yang tidak. Penelitian ini memberikan manfaat praktis dengan menunjukkan efektivitas Google Sites dalam meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa. Hasil ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi pendidik dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam pembelajaran untuk mendukung pembelajaran mandiri.

Abstract

Pada Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 saat ini, teknologi semakin berkembang pesat. Teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan pun berkembang pesat, berbagai inovasi dalam pendidikan telah diterapkan pada semua jenjang pendidikan. Kahoot merupakan salah satu aplikasi pembelajaran interaktif yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran maupun sebagai media assesmen pembelajaran.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan Kahoot sebagai media assesmen pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan Literature Review/ studi kepustakaan. Literature Review  dipilih untuk mengetahui efektivitas  aplikasi Kahoot sebagai media assesmen pembelajaran.  Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari hasil-hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan dan diterbitkan jurnal online nasional maupun internasional dan prosiding ilmiah. Berdasarkan analisis terhadap 15 penelitian terpilih yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2020 sampai 2024,  aplikasi Kahoot terbukti efektif sebagai media assesmen pembelajaran. Kahoot juga terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini disebabkan karena tampilan kuis Kahoot menarik, seru dan menantang, serta waktu pengerjaan setiap soal yang dapat mendorong siswa untuk konsentrasi, berpikir cepat dan menjawab dengan tepat. Kahoot memberikan hasil secara real time sehingga siswa dan guru dapat mengetahui point/nilai yang diperoleh siswa setelah siswa selesai mengerjakan dan guru dapat memberikan umpan balik secara langsung.

Abstract

The main problem in formal learning today is the low absorption of students in understanding the material. This can be seen from the average student learning outcomes which are always still low. Low learning outcomes are indicated because the learning conditions are still conventional (lectures, practicums, and discussions). This study aims to determine the effect of pair programming learning models on learning outcomes of vocational high school students. This research was conducted through a literature review and relevant research results and was continued through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). From the research it was found that there was a significant positive influence between the variable pair programming learning model and student learning outcomes, which means that student learning outcomes can be improved through the application of the pair programming learning model.

Abstract

Since 2021, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia has implemented an independent curriculum for all levels of education in stages. The policy for implementing this curriculum, actually not much has changed from the previous curriculum (2013 curriculum). However, specifically Vocational High Schools (SMK) through the Directorate General of Vocational Education are directed at implementing the project-based learning model (PjBL) or teaching factory (tefa) in implementing the accelerated curriculum after Covid-19. Implementing this project-based learning model requires the right strategy in its implementation, plandaoresh is one of them. The aim of this study is to find out the comparison of learning outcomes for Technical Drawing subjects that apply the plandoresh strategy with other strategies. The research subjects were two groups of class XII students with machining engineering skills competency, each numbering 36 students. The research results show a significant comparison between the implementation of the plandoresh strategy and the non-plandoresh strategy with a significance figure of α < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.005) and t count > t table (5.839 > 2.021).

Abstract

Entering the 21st century with the industrial revolution 4.0, the speed of progress in information and communication technology has become unstoppable. One of the most benefited from these advances in the world of education. Exploration of learning resources, and discussion forums, for the evaluation of learning can be done easily because of technological advances. Learning evaluation can use a digital platform, and it is very easy to analyze to improve the management of the implementation of learning evaluation. This study was conducted to analyze the mid-semester test instrument, which includes Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) questions and is used to measure students' abilities in the subject of Automotive Vehicle Chassis (AVC) in the Department of Automotive Engineering) at SMK Dharma Bahari Surabaya, Indonesia. This research method is descriptive and quantitative. The sample in this study was 40 students. The mid-semester questions were given as many as 40 questions related to the mid-semester exam material using the Quizizz platform. Analysis of the items is carried out by using the Rasch model approach to obtain fit items. This analysis was carried out with the help of Winsteps 3.73 software. In this study, it was found that the instrument of the question that Person Reliability at mid-semester Automotive Vehicle Chassis (AVC) was 0.85 while item reliability was 0.86. The magnitude of Cronbach's Alpha is 0.86, so it can be used to evaluate learning in AVC subjects according to the Rasch model.

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah penduduk telah mendorong permintaan akan fasilitas publik dan properti di Kabupaten Minahasa, Sulawesi Utara, menyebabkan kepemilikan tanah dan properti meningkat sementara lahan yang tersedia terus berkurang. Pertumbuhan ini didorong oleh pembangunan fisik yang intens di berbagai sektor, baik oleh pemerintah, swasta, maupun masyarakat, yang mengubah pemanfaatan lahan di sekitar Danau Tondano. Tantangan muncul karena pergeseran fungsi lahan dari tujuan semula menjadi yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dampak perubahan pemanfaatan lahan terhadap keberlanjutan lingkungan dan masyarakat di Kabupaten Minahasa. Metode penelitian melibatkan analisis deskriptif dan wawancara dengan pemangku kepentingan terkait, serta pemetaan perubahan pemanfaatan lahan. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya pergeseran signifikan dalam penggunaan lahan di sekitar Danau Tondano, dengan peningkatan pembangunan fisik yang memengaruhi ekosistem dan keberlangsungan lingkungan. Abstract

The influence of the implementation of P5 on strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile at SMKN 1 Mojokerto has so far been limited to conjecture, not supported by measurable empirical data. This study aims to examine the extent of the contribution of the implementation of P5 in improving the Pancasila Student Profile in students. This study uses a quantitative method with a causal associative approach. From a population of 498 students, a sample of 83 students was obtained with a margin of error of 10%. Data collection techniques were carried out through closed questionnaires and documentation. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of P5 has a real influence on improving the six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, namely: (1) faith and piety to God Almighty (51.70%); (2) the ability to appreciate global diversity (44%); (3) independence (33.40%); (4) the spirit of mutual cooperation (38.60%); (5) critical thinking skills; (6) creativity. Overall, the implementation of P5 contributed 54.80% to the improvement of the Pancasila Student Profile. This finding implies that the more effective the implementation of P5, the greater its contribution to strengthening students' character across the six main dimensions. ABSTRAKKondisi pengaruh keterlaksanaan P5 terhadap penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila di SMKN 1 Mojokerto selama ini masih sebatas dugaan, belum didukung oleh data empiris yang terukur. Tujuan riset ini untuk mengkaji dampak keterlaksanaan P5 dalam meningkatkan karakteristik Pelajar Pancasila pada murid. Metode kuantitatif diterapkan dalam riset ini melalui pendekatan asosiatif kausal. Dari populasi 498 siswa, diperoleh sampel sebanyak 83 siswa dengan margin of error sebesar 10%. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner tertutup dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan P5 memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap peningkatan enam dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila, yaitu: (1) keimanan dan ketakwaan kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa (51,70%); (2) kemampuan menghargai keberagaman global (44%); (3) kemandirian (33,40%); (4) semangat gotong royong (38,60%); (5) kemampuan berpikir kritis; (6) kreativitas. Secara keseluruhan, keterlaksanaan P5 menyumbang sebesar 54,80% terhadap peningkatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Temuan ini menyiratkan bahwa semakin efektif pelaksanaan P5, semakin besar pula kontribusinya terhadap penguatan karakter siswa dalam enam dimensi utama.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of learning motivation and learning creativity on students' interest in entrepreneurship at Kartanegara Wates Vocational School, Kediri Regency in Teaching Factory learning. This type of research is quantitative research with 80 students as research subjects. The data collection technique for this research uses a questionnaire. The data analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression. The research results showed that the partial test (t-test) on learning motivation was .000 < .050 and for creativity, it was .00 < .050. Meanwhile, the results obtained from the F-test show a value of .000 < .050. The determination test results obtained a value of 53.7%. The findings in this research show that learning motivation has a significant effect on interest in entrepreneurship. Additionally, creativity also shows a significant influence on interest in entrepreneurship. Learning motivation and creativity simultaneously have a significant influence on the entrepreneurial interest of Kartanegara Wates Vocational School students.
