Abstract

Fish waste is a problem arising from the activities of the fishing industry. In General, fish waste containing organic compounds are high, therefore, sewage treatment needs to be done to minimize waste. One of the technology for processing waste, namely by means of the creation of biogas by anaerobic. The advantage of this treatment is to produce a little mud than reprocessing in aerobics. This research aims to analyze the influence of addition of rumen of biogas production, the influence of dilution of biogas production and biogas production influence of stirring. This research was conducted in laboratory scale by using a typical analysis for digester capacity 500 mL. The sample used is a waste of the Stingray fish smoking industry, using a sample of mashed and not mashed as well as extracts of bovine rumen as a starter. Water used for dilution in the study is well water with salinity levels of 7.6 ppt. on variable dilution, yield the most high biogas contained on the dilution of 37.5 mL. For the addition of rumen biogas results higher than without the rumen. Stirring 3 times more effective for producing biogas is higher compared to without stirring and stirring 1 time.

Abstract

The increase of oil prices affects economic activity in the world including Indonesia, it would encourage the government to develop renewable energy including biogas. Kitchen wastes have the potential to be a source of renewable energy, namely biogas. Food waste and kitchen activities in sufficient quantities from the cafeteria collected, and treated such as refining and homogenizing, then enter a stage of the substrate and its extracts as a source of rumen anaerobic bacteria into the batch reactor with the addition of water as a variation. From the results of the study concluded that the addition of water affects the amount of gas produced. It is proven through the reactor which produces biogas most is reactor with 150 ml dilution (A) (pieces shape) which were stirred three times a day, this reactor is capable of producing up to 1394 ml within 24 days. Based on the time of production, the level of water and mixing also affects the length of time in the production of biogas. Biogas production without a stirring process is capable of producing biogas up to 19-20 days, while the stirred reactor were capable of producing biogas up to 25-26 days.

Abstract

Banger River is the river with a length of 6.5 km and coverage area of 524,46 ha.The determination status of water quality in Banger River necessary to know how the water pollution in Banger River and recommendations related to the control of pollution river.This research aims to analyze the causes factors changes concentrations of TSS, BOD, COD, DO, pH, Amonia, and Nitrate; calculate the pollution indexon all sampling point inBanger River, and analyze the influence of concentrations of TSS, BOD, COD, DO, pH, Amonia, and Nitrateto water quality status of Banger River.Pollution index were analyzed based on KepMen LH No. 115 in 2003 about the determination the Status of Water Quality Guidelines by taking 5-point sampling and dividing the region segmentation into 4 segments. From this research, a pollution index values are calculated at the BGR point 1 is 8,17; BGRpoint 2 of the resettlement 9,17; BGRpoint 3 of the resettlement 5,17; BGRpoint 4 of the resettlement 7,03 ; and at that BGRpoint5 is 7,48. Based on KepMen LH No. 115 in 2003 about the determination of the Status of Water Quality Guidelines, the value of the IP is at 5,0 < PIj ≤ 10 categorized into polluted medium. So the water quality status at all Banger River the segmentation categorized polluted medium.

Abstract

With the increasing amount of human needs for energy, a new energy source is needed to replace the use of fossil fuel which existence becoming rare. One alternative energy than can be used is biogas. Biogas is a gas formed from organic matter decomposition in an anaerob condition. Biogas can be made from materials easily found in the environment, such as restaurant waste that has high organic components. To improve biogas production, there are several treatments that can be done, such as dilution and mixing. This study uses 10 digesters, each of it filled with 4 kg restaurant waste and 1.5 L cow rumen, with the addition of water varies as follows: 6000 ml, 4000 ml, 2600 ml, 1500 ml and 670 ml. The first five digesters were being mixed while the other five were not. The observation runs for 22 days.  Result shown that in both digesters with water content as much as 6000 ml, with mixing or not, are the ones that produce the most gas. First digester produces 1032.02 ml gas while sixth digester produces 1196.99 ml gas. To compare the effect of mixing, gas production on digesters with no mixing produce more gas than the one that are being mixed.

Abstract

ABSTRACTMany environmental pollution caused by the disposal of industrial waste directly discharged into the environment, it will cause damage to the environment. Waste oil sludge has not been processed further. The high oil content of waste oil sludge will cause soil pollution in the ecosystem.In this research, waste oil sludge from WWTP PT. Indofood CBP. This study uses the technique of bioremediation in reducing the rate of degradation of waste oil sludge PT. Indofood CBP. Characteristics that can be seen is a reduction in the levels of oil concentration in the waste oil sludge.In this research, the addition of polymeric Extracellulary Substances (EPS) is useful as a nutrient in the process biostimulation, while the addition of Simba Agri useful as additional microorganisms to support bioaugmentation  process. Extracellulary polymeric Substances (EPS) were added varying volume was 50 mL and 100 mL.

Abstract

The increasing of quantity and quality of community needs recipitation change the late of land use from green land which function is as water filtration and to make organic compost in LRB as water conservation and handling waste as well. This study is done by making LRB application. Filtration application is taken continues in every 60 minutes and periodic by used by used bucket and organic natural decomposition. Compost used was taken from kitchen waste, leaf litter and mixed of both of them. The density of compost varied from 0,5 kg, 2 kg, and 3 kg per hole. The observation was done in 14 weeks. Infiltration of LRB increased from the first week to nineth week and then decreased until the end of observation (fourteenth week) due to the soil pore had been recharged of water. Maximum infiltrationof LRB with 3 kg of kitchen waste then filtration of LRB with 2 kg og starfruits leaf litter and LRB with 0,5 kg of mixed waste. Infiltration rate for the first maximum were 274,79 l/h, 250,18 l/h, and 239,4 l/h. The effect of LRB was calculated based in the LRB capacity of one LRB can contained of 0,2 ;/d household waste during 20 days with 10 weeks cycle.

Abstract

The main factors to achieve business success in the era of globalization is the quality. In the business world, quality control is the key to maintaining customer loyalty. For a company doing quality control is expected to achieve the company's goals, related to the company's revenue. This is the purpose of PT. Asaputex Jaya Spinning Mill Tegal to make efforts to improve the production activities, especially in improving quality by reducing defects. Six Sigma-Taguchi method can be used to improve quality yarns product. From the analysis we found that the control diagram p, data of defects is uncontrolled, so the capability process is still low with capability value is 0,502. So, it need to be improved to enhance product quality yarns. By using the Taguchi method we can know factors and optimal level to improve the quality of the yarn. That Factor and level is TPI with the optimum level that can be used are Level 2 (13,5 rpm), level 1 (383 tpm) for Delivery Speed factor, for the weight of cotton the optimum level is level 1 (2,0 Kw) and factor Grain the optimal level is level 2 (400 Ne). Keywords: Six Sigma Method, Design Experiment of Taguchi, Capability Process

Abstract

Lifetime T is the time from initial treatment until the first response is to be observed which can be death due to a particular disease, illness that recur after treatment or the emergence of new diseases. In research of survival testing the data term are censored and not censored. Censored observation occur if the survival time of the observed individual is not known with certainty while the observation not censored if the survival time of observation is known with certainty. There are three different types of censoring observation that are type I,type II, and type III. Censoring type III is an observation made to several individuals at different time within a certain period, this is because an individual entry into the observations at different times. Influence of other factros on the response variable that is survival time relation should be considered. One way to know relationship is through a regression model. Regression model of survival data with censoring type III of log-logistic distribution is made following the curve of the response variable. Estimation of parameters using maximum likelihood methods. Regression model was apllied to estimate the survival time of patients with lung cancer for factors of the infected cell and type of treatment.

Abstract

Kesejahteraan merupakan salah satu aspek yang cukup penting untuk menjaga dan membina terjadinya stabilitas sosial dan ekonomi. Berbagai penelitian yang telah dilakukan mengenai kesejahteraan mengindikasikan bahwa banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kesejahteraan rumah tangga. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesejahteraan rumah tangga antara lain jenis kelamin kepala rumah tangga, usia kepala rumah tangga, lapangan usaha kepala rumah tangga, jumlah anggota rumah tangga, bahan bakar utama untuk memasak, pengalaman membeli raskin dan ada atau tidaknya anggota keluarga yang menguasai penggunaan telepon seluler/HP. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan kajian tentang klasifikasi kesejahteraan rumah tangga di Kota Pati dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kesejahteraan rumah tangga di Kota Pati. Dari hasil kajian dengan menggunakan metode Bootstrap Aggregating (Bagging) regresi logistik biner diperoleh tiga variabel prediktor yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan rumah tangga di Kota Pati, yaitu jenis kelamin kepala keluarga, jumlah anggota rumah tangga, dan penguasaan telepon seluler dengan tingkat akurasi sebesar 79,87%. Hasil analisis bagging regresi logistik biner dengan replikasi bootstrap sebesar 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 150, 200, 626, dan 1000 kali menunjukkan bahwa terdapat konsistensi pada setiap pengulangan. Kata Kunci : Klasifikasi, Regresi Logistik Biner, Bootstrap Aggregating

Abstract

Regression analysis is statistical method used to analyze the dependence of respond variables to predictor variable. In multiple linear regression analysis, there are assumptions that must be met, they are normality, homoscedasticity, absence of multicollinearity, and absence of autocorrelation. One of assumption frequently found is multicollinearity. If multicollineraity is exist between predictor variables, then regression analysis with ordinary least square is no longer used. Ridge regression is regression method to handle multicollinearity. The ridge estimator involves adding biasing constant (k) to each diagonal element of  X’X. Biasing constant (k) is determined by Hoerl, Kennard, and Baldwin (HKB) iteration method. This regression can be applied to inflation rate in Indonesia data and the factors that influence, they are BI rate, money supply, and exchange rate of rupiah. Ridge regression analysis, the VIF (Variance Inflation Factor) values for each predictor variables BI rate, money supply, and exchange rate of rupiah are 1.6637, 3.2712, and 4.3309. SinceVIF values are not exceed to 10, then there is no multicollinearity in ridge regression model.Keywords: Inflation,  Multikollinearity, Ridge Regression,  HKB Iteration, VIF
