Abstract

The aims of the study are: 1) Analyzing positive effect of resident’s income towards resident’sparticipation on conserving Ci Tanduy watershed 2) Analyzing negative effect of resident’sknowledge towards resident’s participation in conserving Ci Tanduy watershed, 3) Analyzingnegative effect of land possession towards resident’s participation in conserving Ci Tanduywatershed 4) Analyzing effort to improve resident’s socio-economy which supportsmaintenance and protection effort of Ci Tanduy watershed. Study method which is used issurvey with analysis with quantitative method. Analysis technique which is used is linearRegression. Area population is Ci Tanduy Watershed. Resident population is farmers andfishermen around the wwatershed. Analysis conclusion shows that 1) There is positive effectof income towards participation, 2) There is negative effect of knowledge towardsparticipation, 3) There is negative effect of land possession toward participation, 4) Areaphysical condition, which affects erosion and participation, requires resident participation.

Abstract

Pengindraan jauh saat ini sudah mulai dikembangkan dan dimanfaatkan untuk berbagai bidang keilmuan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pengindraan jauh) di Kecamatan Pangandaran untuk mengetahui kesesuaian kerapatan vegetasi dengan hasil interpretasi. Menggunakan citra Landsat 8 dengan metode Unsupervised Classification Iso Data dan dalam pengolahannya menggunakan softwareEnvi 5.0 dan Arcgis 10.4. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis spasial dan membandingkan hasil interpretasi dengan hasil data di lapangan, dan melakukan uji akurasi. Uji akurasi dilakukan untuk menemukan besaran kesesuaian metode dengan data yang dilakukan. Maka akan dapat diketahui bahwa metode klasifikasi yang digunakan kurang tepat untuk mengidentifikasi kerapatan vegetasi karena memiliki banyak data yang tidak sesuai dengan yang ada di lapangan. Dengan mengidentifikasi kerapatan vegetasi, maka dapat membantu mengetahui perencanaan ruang terbuka hijau yang tepat untuk wilayah kecamatan Pangandaran.

Abstract

Utilization of the environment as a learning resource is expected to influence student activities so that student learning outcomes are maximized. Therefore, it is necessary to have the support of teachers who have professional competence in learning geography. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teacher professional competence in utilizing the environment on student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri Pelalawan. The research method used in this study is a descriptive study method, using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were teachers of geography as well as students of class X Social Sciences in SMA Negeri Pelalawan totaling 52 teachers and 552 students of class X Social Sciences. The number of samples used were 4 teachers of geography and 135 students of class X IPS. The test used is linear regression test. The results of this study are that there is a relationship between the professional competence of geography teachers in utilizing the school environment on student learning outcomes with sig. = 0.000. The value of the regression equation for teacher professional competence on learning outcomes is Y= 17.696 + 0.371X. The value of R square is 0.329. This value implies that the effect of teacher professional competence (X) on learning outcomes (Y) is 32.9%, while 67.1% is influenced by other variables not examined. Suggestions for teachers to improve professional competence, so that they can carry out their professional duties as a teacher well in order to achieve the learning objectives that have been set.

Abstract

Widespread decline in agricultural land and the impact on production decline caused extensive forest activities to meet the needs of the population. Activities that cause less environmental quality offset environmental balance changes. These changes due to deforestation, erosion, degraded land and natural resource degradation are exploited so that the function of ecological, economic and social life. Damaged ecosystems resulting in erosion, landslides in the watershed affect the sedimentation in Sagara Anakan sea. Silting, resulting in narrowing of fishing activities, tourism, sports, and services decreased crossings. Because of the problem and the purpose of this study proposed and analyzed a few questions: 1) How does the socio-economic impact of farmers in conserving the environment of Sagara Anakan ?, 2) How do people form of conservation and coastal of Sagara Anakan ?, 3) How model of integrated conservation in the watershed and coastal of Sagara Anakan ? and 4) What role do the people in the watershed and coastal on Sagara Anakan conservation ?. Study site covers an area of flow and Ci Ci Tanduy Beureum and Sagara Tillers waters. Activities of the population in the process of land affected when in Sagara tillers. The method used was a survey with a sample divided by the watershed upstream, downstream and coastal tengahm. Using statistical analysis techniques and geography, so that part of the watershed characteristics can be imaged. Shallowing Sagara Anakan, physically was affected by the physical condition of the easily eroded and accelerated by human activities. The activities of farmer on the watershed have done conservation unless doing reforestation, whereas the farmer on the swamp and coastal areas are not doing conservation. Different physical circumstances, the conservation of watersheds and coastal forms differ. Socio-economic condition of farmer affect the conservation. The farmer could not reforestation conservation form, as the socio-economic needs. While in the farmer swamp and coastal conservation is not done, because the physical state was not possible. To conserve of Sagara Anakan, then the shape of coastal conservation by planting trees, not catch fish, marine dredging, not taking out the trash, do not use drugs to win the fish and catch a certain size. While in conservation should be done with different shape and performed in an integrated manner that requires the participation of the population.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the density of vegetation in Pangandaran district. (2)the result of comparison of vegetation density from digital image interpretation using the NDVI transformation with the results of validation. This research was done in pangandaran regency, which is located at coordinates 108º 41 - 1090 East Longitude and 07o 41-07 07 50 South Latitude has an area of up to 61 km². This research was conducted in several stages, namely: (1) the preparation of tools and data, (2) digital data processing, (3) field data collection, and (4) data analysis. Thanks to the density of vegetation can be done quickly by way of digital image interpretation using NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) transformation. The purpose of this research is to know the land arrangement in Pangandaran District and for vegetation index of residential area in Pangandaran District. The object of this research is residential area in Pangandaran District. The data used are Landsat Image 8 year 2018. The software used is ENVI 5.1 and ArcGIS 10.3 software. The method used is the classification of land use and the calculation of NDVI in ENVI which then classified based on the range of NDVI index values. The results showed that the density of vegetation in Pangandaran District was dominating  classified and as quite dense but it needed a lot of updating of its digital image and data so that the accuracy rate increased between imagery and field data. Vegetation in Pangandaran Subdistrict is mostly dominated by teak, waru, coconut, Chinese petai, goat, santigi, and ketapang. Based on the results of the interpretation accuracy test, obtained an accuracy value for the entire sample of 57% so that the results of image interpretation and field checks regarding vegetation density cannot be accepted because the expected level of interpretation accuracy is 85%, while the accuracy test results get a value of 57%. To get a complete picture of the availability of green open space in Pangandaram Regency, fast and relatively more accurate analysis of high spatial resolution is needed. The satellite imagery used in this study is Landsat 8 Imagery which has never been used in previous studies. Analysis of these images uses a vegetation index / NDVI that can directly distinguish plants from non-plants. The results of this image analysis also produce digital data that can be processed quantitatively for further research purposes.

Abstract

Assessment or assessment is a general term covering all the methods commonly used to assess the performance of individual students or groups. The assessment process includes gathering evidence to demonstrate student learning achievement. In essence, the basis of self-assessment must be conditioned to the age so that students can compensate for the demands due to the changing times. 21st Century Assessment is a form of implementation of the development of the times, to achieve the achievement of the implementation of the 21st century assessment, so many assessment bases are conditioned to equalize the ability due to changing times. Assemen on subjects have been implemented by several related parties, one of the subjects which has bases of assessment in the equalization of the changing times associated with 21st century assessment is the subject of Geography. As for this study using the literature study method, the data used is related to the assessment of geography subjects, the data sources used are from Google Scholar, ERIC, Sage Journal, and Taylor and Francis Group Jounal. The results of this article are in the form of geo-based assessment (HOTS) Higher Order Thinking Skills, TIGAS-based geography assessment (Trends in International Geography Assessment Study), and 21st Century assessment framework for Geography.

Abstract

Pembuatan data mengenai bentang lahan di kecamatan Pangandaran perlu dilakukan demi kebermanfaatan lahan daerah Pangandaran, masyarakat yang memanfaatkan lahan di kecamatan Pangandaran rata-rata bermata pencaharian perkebunan di dataran tingginya sehingga peta geomorfologi perlu dibuat. Penelitian yang kami lakukan menggunakan metode interpretasi visual yang dilihat melalui citra pangandaran melalui aplikasi ENVI yang sudah di komposit dengan band RGB 546, komposit band tersebut menghasilkan campuran warna yang menonjolkan bentang lahan dan batuan tertentu. Setelah melakukan interpretasi visual tahap selanjutnya melakukan analisis karakter wilayah secara langsung atau groundcheck yang dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui objek landscape langsung dilapangan. Pengecekan akurasi data yang ada di lapangan dan interpretasi citra yang sudah di analisis sebelumnya harus di cocokan kembali guna mengetahui bentang lahan geomorfologi di kecamatan pangandaran.

Abstract

Crime is an unplanned change due to the process of urban development. The geographical approach is able to analyze spatial interactions of criminogenic factors into crime phenomenon. This study aims to explain the spatial interaction between socio-economic conditions and crime risk in Bandung City. The crime risk is obtained through Kernel Density Estimation (KDE) method based on The Annual Crime Data from Bandung Police Department, whereas the socio-economic condition data is revealed from interview and questioner with 176 respondents who determined by multistage random sampling in 37 hamlets. Variable interactions are analysed based on Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) with Gaussian Distance Function type of cross validation as optimum weight. The results show the socio-economic conditions has a positive and significant effect on crime risk. This model shows that the independent variable acts as a crime attractor. Partially its known that economic conditions have a stronger interaction with crime risk than the social climate. The strongest interaction between variables are concentrated in the southern of Kebon Pisang Urban Village, precisely in the area passed by arterial roads at southern of Sumur Bandung. Crime prevention efforts are conducted using environmental interventions by the formal security personnels and strengthening the social climate of the community.

Abstract

Pembangunan akan terus terjadi di suatu wilayah tertentu, sehingga mengakibatkan adanya perubahan penampakan fisik. Fokus utama dalam penelitian ini adalah membandingkan dua metode klasifikasi antara metode klasifikasi berbasis piksel, dan metode klasifikasi berbasis objek dengan menggunakan citra SPOT 7 sebagai data sekunder yang digunakan untuk proses klasifikasi, yang berlokasi di wilayah Kota Bandung. Klasifikasi citra menghasilkan 10 kelas penutup lahan diantaranya, bangunan industri, ladang/tegalan, lahan terbuka, perkebunan, permukaan diperkeras, permukiman, ruang terbuka hijau, sarana olahraga, sawah, dan semak belukar. Hasil klasifikasi dengan kedua metode tersebut akan diuji akurasinya berdasarkan data validasi lapangan, serta dihitung luas penutup lahan dari kedua metode dan nilai akurasi keseluruhannya menggunakan matriks konfusi, yang menghasilkan akurasi klasifikasi citra berbasis piksel sebesar 80% dan akurasi klasifikasi citra berbasis objek sebesar 87%. Berdasarkan hasil akurasi keseluruhan dapat dikatakan bahwa metode berbasis objek lebih baik digunakan untuk klasifikasi penutup lahan di Kota Bandung dibandingkan menggunakan metode klasifikasi berbasis piksel.

Abstract

Data citra satelit digunakan untuk mendeteksi klasifikasi penutupan lahan di Kawasan Wisata Kecamatan Pangandaran Kabupaten Pangandaran. Penelitian dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap, yaitu pra-pengolahan citra, interpretasi visual citra, membuat penciri kelas klasifikasi citra, groundchek, dan uji akurasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode klasifikasi tidak terbimbing (unsupervised classification) IsoData dan K-means. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan klasifikasi tutupan lahan di Kecamatan Pangandaran menggunakan citra satelit Landsat 8 OLI (Operational Land Imager) hasil perekaman terakhir. Peta hasil klasifikasi lahan dalam penelitian ini memiliki tingkat akurasi ketelitian 86.67% dan telah memenuhi syarat yang sudah ditentukan USGS. Kelas-kelas penutup lahan yang terdapat pada wilayah penelitian berdasarkan citra adalah liputan vegetasi alami/semi alami lain, hutan mangrove, bangunan bukan pemukiman, dan bangunan pemukiman campuran. Manfaat peta hasil klasifikasi tutupan lahan tersebut adalah untuk analisis spasial dalam bidang perencanaan wilayah atau pembangunan.
