Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pemanfaatan Taman Wisata Alam (TWA) Puntikayu Palembang Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Peserta Didik dengan metode pembelajaran outdoor study. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil pretest dan posttest pemahaman konsep peserta didik dengan memanfaatkan Taman Wisata Alam Puntikayu Palembang melalui metode Outdoor study di SMA Negeri 9 Palembang? Metode yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental dengan desain eksperimen Non-Equivalent Pretest-Posttest Design. Instrument yang digunakan adalah angket. Analisis data menggunakan Paired Samples T-Test dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 20. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 9 Palembang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan Taman Wisata Alam (TWA) puntikayu palembang sebagai sumber belajar dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik di SMA Negeri 9 PalembangKata Kunci: metode Outdoor Study, Pemahaman Konsep

Abstract

The eruption of Mount Sinabung is a natural disaster that can occur suddenly which results in damage to property and victims as well as this causes students to feel uneasy being in an area prone to the eruption of Mount Sinabung, therefore it is necessary to be prepared to deal with potential natural disasters. So that with a disaster, students do not always feel afraid. By learning geography, especially mitigation material, it is hoped that it will be able to foster student preparedness so that they are able to act appropriately in dealing with the Mount Sinabung eruption disaster. The purpose of this study was to analyze the contribution of the geography learning method to the preparedness of students. This study uses a survey method. The sample consisted of 154 students from three schools, namely SMA Negeri 1 Tigan Derket, SMA Negeri 1 Munte and SMA Muhamadiyah Kabanjahe which were located in areas prone to the eruption of Mount Sinabung and areas still affected by the eruption of Mount Sinabung. The measuring instrument used is a statement questionnaire, the data analysis technique uses descriptive inferential statistical tests with simple linear regression and correlation tests. The results showed that the contribution of the geography learning method to the preparedness of students to face the eruption of Mount Sinabung, Karo Regency was included in the low criteria. Abstract

Pembangunan akan terus terjadi di suatu wilayah tertentu, sehingga mengakibatkan adanya perubahan penampakan fisik. Fokus utama dalam penelitian ini adalah membandingkan dua metode klasifikasi antara metode klasifikasi berbasis piksel, dan metode klasifikasi berbasis objek dengan menggunakan citra SPOT 7 sebagai data sekunder yang digunakan untuk proses klasifikasi, yang berlokasi di wilayah Kota Bandung. Klasifikasi citra menghasilkan 10 kelas penutup lahan diantaranya, bangunan industri, ladang/tegalan, lahan terbuka, perkebunan, permukaan diperkeras, permukiman, ruang terbuka hijau, sarana olahraga, sawah, dan semak belukar. Hasil klasifikasi dengan kedua metode tersebut akan diuji akurasinya berdasarkan data validasi lapangan, serta dihitung luas penutup lahan dari kedua metode dan nilai akurasi keseluruhannya menggunakan matriks konfusi, yang menghasilkan akurasi klasifikasi citra berbasis piksel sebesar 80% dan akurasi klasifikasi citra berbasis objek sebesar 87%. Berdasarkan hasil akurasi keseluruhan dapat dikatakan bahwa metode berbasis objek lebih baik digunakan untuk klasifikasi penutup lahan di Kota Bandung dibandingkan menggunakan metode klasifikasi berbasis piksel.

Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah: a) mengetahui pengetahuan materi SIG dalam memetakan lingkungan, b) menganalisis model pembelajaran SIG dalam memetakan lingkungan, dan c) menganalisis kemampuan guru Geografi dalam mengoperasikan perangkat lunak SIG MapInfo dalam memetakan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei, dengan populasi guru-guru Geografi di Kabupaten Bandung dan Bandung Barat. Teknik Analisis dengan mengamati tingkat kemampuan dalam pemahaman dan penguasaan dalam mengoperasikan Software SIG. Dari 30 responden tergambarkan mengambarkan bahwa 24 responden (80 %) responden memahami sedang Materi SIG dan enam responden (20 %) memahami tinggi. Metode, model, strategi dan teknik pembelajaran hanya sepintas dan bahkan dilewati oleh 28 responden (93,33 %) dan hanya 2 responden (6,67 %) melakukannya dengan cukup detil. Rendahnya penguasaan dan pengoperasian software SIG oleh guru-guru Geografi (responden) menjadi kendala dalam proses pembelajaran. Pengetahuan dan penguasaan materi Sistem Informasi Geografi (SIG) sangat kurang. Pengetahuan yang rendah tentang isi pembelajaran berimbas pada metode pembelajaran yang kurang berkembang. Menguasai metode pembelajaran tidak berarti menguasai materi. Rendahnya penguasaan dalam pengoperasian software SIG menentukan keberhasilan proses pembelajaran Geografi. Perubahan-perubahan kurikulum pembelajaran harus diiringi dengan pelatihan kurikulum dan materi bagi para guru.Kata kunci: sistem informasi geografis, guru geografi, metode, pelatihan

Abstract

The Sagara Anakan region is meeting some estuaries are undergoing a process of sedimentation. Impact of siltation and sedimentation caused the emergence of new deltas that lead to legal and institutional issues of ownership of the delta in the area. The mayor problemof this study is how the steps to perform the maintenance and protection, maintenance and protection efforts extent to support sustainable development and the factors that lead to sedimentation in the Segara Anakan?. The main purpose of this study is to learn the steps to perform the maintenance and protection, maintenance and protection of analyzing the efforts and analyze the factors that lead to sedimentation in th earea of Sagara Anakan. Conservation, vegetative, mechanical and chemistry methods that must be done. Segara Anakan area that to be studied is the area that has geographical location between 108001'15,66"BT -109000'00" BT and 7001'12, 96"LS -7046'44,4" LS. Areas to be studied in this research is the population in the watershed that towards into Sagara Anakan region. Conservation will be related to the socio-economic life of the population in and around the river that towards into Sagara Anaka region. Conservation needs to be done mechanically, physically integrated with socio-economic empowerment sustainable population.

Abstract

Kawasan Hutan Manrgove Karangsong terletak di Kabupaten Indramayu, Jawa Barat. Kawasan hutan mangrove karangsong merupakan salah satu wilayah hutan mangrove hasil rehabilitasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan januari – maret 2022 guna menganalisis vegetasi mangrove beradasarkan kerapatan vegetasi dan mengetahui faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi perubahan luas dan kerapatan vegetasi, metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei, dengan cara transek line plot (TLP). Parameter yang diamati adalah komposisi jenis, dan indeks nilai penting mangrove serta parameter lingkungan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan 2 jenis vegetasi mangrove yaitu Avicennia Marina dan Rhizopora Mucronata. Pada tahap semai kerapataan jenis mangrove dalam keadaan kurang baik atau termasuk kedalam kerapatan jarang. Sedangkan untuk tahap pancang dan pohon dalam keadaan baik atau termasuk kedalam kerapatan rapat. Perubahan luas lahan di Kawasan Hutan Mangrove Karangsong dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor lingkungan maupun faktor dari aktifitas manusia. Secara keseluruhan total luas Kawasan Hutan Mangrove menjadi ± 29 ha dalam kurun waktu 13 tahun ( tahun 2008 hingga 2022).

Abstract

HOTS-oriented assessment is to improve students' high-level thinking skills in the classroom. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the skills of geography teachers in developing HOTS-oriented questions both theoretically and practically. The results show that their skills are theoretically and practically low. Teachers’ training to improve their competence in developing HOTS-oriented assessment instruments is necessary.

Abstract

The interactive learning media tutorial model is a computer-based learning media that has interactivity in it so that it involves the activeness of students in learning activities. The purpose of this research is to develop an interactive learning media application tutorial model that can help students improve their understanding of geographic information system learning materials. This research is a quasi-experimental study conducted at Watampone High School Class XII. The research subjects consisted of 33 students from 123 populations. The results showed that there was a significant increase in understanding of geographic information system material after learning using interactive media tutorial models with an average value after being given a pretest of 64.66 and after being given a posttest to 78, the average percentage increase was 36.05%.

Abstract

Lack of public understanding of natural resource management causes damage that runs relatively but the impact is cumulative so that it becomes difficult to overcome it. Through geography learning materials, especially material on natural resources, it is able to increase students' understanding of the geographical conditions of their area so that they are able to take advantage of the potential of the local area. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of learning geography on students' understanding of the potential of the area in Central Buton Regency. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 116 students from 5 schools in Central Buton Regency.
