Abstract

Problem-solving skill is one of the fundamental skills that must be mastered by students in the 21st century. This study identifies the enhancement of students’ problem-solving skill in oscillation and sound wave concept by utilizing multimedia based integrated instruction (MBI2). The subjects of this research were 30 junior high school students in Bandung-West Java. Data and analysis result showed that students’ problem-solving skill was enhanced in moderate criteria, showed by Ngain value of 0.57. Therefore, it can be concluded that MBI2 can enhance students’ problem-solving skills in oscillation and sound wave concept.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian eksperimen semu tentang uji penggunaan media simulasi virtual pada pendekatan pembelajaran konseptual interaktif, guna menjajagi efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa dan meminimalkan kuantitas miskonsepsi. Pada pendekatan pembelajaran ini, media simulasi digunakan pada sesi pengenalan dan penggalian konsep. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap siswa-siswi kelas XII pada salah satu SMA Negeri di kota Bandung dengan menggunakan desain penelitian Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Materi pelajaran yang dibahas adalah tentang kemagnetan. Pendekatan pembelajaran konseptual interaktif tanpa menggunakan media simulasi digunakan sebagai perlakuan kontrol. Dari perbandingan rata-rata gain yang dinormalisasi dan kuantitas miskonsepsi antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media simulasi virtual pada pendekatan pembelajaran konseptual interaktif dapat lebih meningkatkan efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa dan meminimalkan miskonsepsi.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTelah dilakukan penelitian eksperimental tentang model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray di salah satu SMA di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi momentum dan impuls dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran two stay two stray (TSTS). Pemahaman konsep siswa diukur dengan tes diagnosis berupa tes pilihan ganda dengan menggunakan skala Certainty of Response Index (CRI). Metode penelitian adalah Quasi Experimental dengan desain One Group Pretest Posttest yang melibatkan 37 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemahaman konsep siswa SMA pada materi momentum dan impuls setelah pembelajaran meningkat, yaitu 16,8% pada pretest menjadi 70,6% pada posttest. Keefektivitasan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model TSTS ini dapat dilihat dari nilai N-gain sebesar 0,64.ABSTRACTExperimental research about Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model has been conducted in one of senior high school in Bandung. This research aimed to analyze students’ understanding of momentum and impulse concepts by using TSTS learning model. Students’ conception were identified by multiple choice-diagnostics test using Certainty of Response Index (CRI) scale. Research method was pre-experimental design with one group pretest posttest design involving 37 students as research subjects. Results showed that profile of students’ understanding of momentum and impulse concepts were increased from 16,8% in pretest to 70,6% in posttest. Effectiveness of TSTS learning model was reflected by N-gain of 0.64.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kecakapan akademik dan prestasi belajar siswa di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Subang. Hal tersebut dilihat dari metode pembelajaran yang sering digunakan dan dari nilai ujian siswa yang masih kurang dari nilai Kriteria Kelulusan Minimum (KKM), sehingga penelitian ini difokuskan pada upaya meningkatkan kecakapan akademik dan prestasi belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model guided inquiry pada pembelajaran induksi magnet. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian control group pretest-posttest design dengan teknik rotasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas XII IPA 1 dan XII IPA 5 di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Subang dengan jumlah siswa keduanya 86 orang yang di bagi kedalam 2 kelompok besar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, tes dan lembar observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kecakapan akademik dan prestasi belajar siswa secara umum mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran guided inquiry. Kategori peningkatan untuk aspek kecakapan akademik dan prestasi belajar termasuk kedalam kategori rendah dengan perbedaan yang tidak signifikan antara kelompok pertama dan kelompok keuda.ABSTRACTThis research is motivated by the low academic skills and student achievement in one of the City Senior High School in Subang. It is seen from the learning model that is often used, and of student test results are still below the minimum passing criteria(MPC), So, the research focused on improving academic skills and student achievement through the application of guided inquiry of learning model in magnetic induction subject. The research method used is a quasi-experimental research design with pretest-posttest control group design with the rotation technique. The sample in this study were students of class XII and XII IPA IPA 1 5 in one of the City Senior High School in Subang with the number of students who are both 86 is classified into two major groups. The data was collected through interviews, tests and observation sheet. Based on the results obtained that the academic skills and student achievement in general have increased after the implementation of guided inquiry learning model. Improving of academic skill and student achievement are included in low category with not significant difference between first and second groups.

Abstract

Twenty-first century skills are recognized as a competency standard that students need to possess to support the demands of success both in work and in life in the future, especially in learning. In line with this, learning that can accommodate 21st-century skills is learning that has a balance between the scientific approach and the use of technology. One of the efforts that can be made is to develop teaching materials in the form of electronic modules that integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to train creative thinking skills that are also adjusted to the applicable school curriculum. However, most of the teaching materials, especially the modules that are used in general, are only printed modules. Based on these problems, we need electronic modules (e-modules) that direct students to have 21st-century skills and the dimensions that exist in the independent learning curriculum. This study aims to develop an e-module based on STEM and self-regulated learning about global warming topics to train students’ creative thinking skills. This type of research involves adapting a 4-D development model. Which consist of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The data were gathered through questionnaires and tests. The questionnaire instrument consists of an expert validation questionnaire of three experts. Meanwhile, the test instrument consisted of a pre-test and a post-test, which were tested on 32 students in class X majoring in science. The N-gain score for creative thinking skills is 0.60 in the medium category. Based on the results of this study, the development of a STEM-based physics e-module with self-regulated learning on the global warming topic can train students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

The rapid development of modern science and technology in the era of globalisation has opened a new era in social development, culture, and the mindset of mankind. In its development process, this era has created various challenges that must be solved, especially in the world of education. One of the challenges experienced by the world of education in the global era is the decline in moral quality or the degradation of national identity. Therefore, there is a need for moral improvement and development through the cultivation of religious character values in students at school, with the implementation of religious activities. The purpose of this study is to determine how religious activities, the level of religious character of students, and the effect of religious activities on the religious character of students at MA Sirnamiskin Bandung City. The research method used is the survey method. The population in this study were all students of MA Sirnamiskin Bandung City, totalling 318 students. The sampling technique in this study is probability sampling using simple random sampling technique. So that 48 respondents were selected as the research sample. The results of this study indicate that first, religious activities at MA Sirnamiskin Bandung City are in the good category. Second, the level of religious character of students at MA Sirnamiskin Bandung City is in the good category. Third, there is a significant influence between religious activities on the religious character of students at MA Sirnamiskin Bandung City. It can be concluded that there is an influence of religious activities on the religious character of students. The more religious activities are carried out, the more the religious character of students will increase.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still several schools that have not been fully able to show efforts in realizing the SDGs goal 4, namely quality education. This study aims to describe and analyze the steps taken in the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of the implementation of SDGs in realizing quality education at Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School. In addition, this study also identifies the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of SDGs to achieve quality education at the school. This study uses a qualitative approach and case study method with observational data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that Daarut Tauhiid Boarding School Putri has implemented the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) in realizing quality education with the implementation of the Independent Curriculum and the Daarut Tauhid Islamic Boarding School Curriculum which focuses on character education in the form of good and strong character (BAKU). The BAKU character consists of six character assessments, namely sincerity, honesty, tawadhu, courage, discipline, and resilience. The pesantren curriculum has 4 curriculum pillars, namely: ma'rifatullah, entrepreneurship, leadership, and environmental insight.

Abstract

Sel surya perovskite merupakan sel surya yang memanfaatkan proses fotoelektrokimia dalam mengubah energi foton menjadi energi listrik, yang ramah lingkungan, fabrikasi mudah, dan biaya penelitian rendah. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada penentuan variasi ketebalan dari lapisan film tipis TiO2 sebagai ETL serta pengaruhnya terhadap sifat optik dan sifat listrik pada sel surya perovskite. Karakterisasi sifat optik diperoleh dari hasil absorbansi menggunakan UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, sedangkan karakterisasi sifat listrik meliputi nilai ???, ??, ???, dan ? menggunakan Standard Solar Simulator 1.5 AM. Hasil variasi ketebalan lapisan TiO2 sebesar 41,75 µm, 28,50 µm, 19,00 µm, dan 10,00 µm berdasarkan kecepatan spin coating 3000 rpm, 4000 rpm, 5000 rpm, dan 6000 rpm selama 20 detik yang menghasilkan formulasi setiap 1 rpm dari spin coating dihasilkan ketebalan sebesar -0,0105 + 71,95 µm. Nilai absorbansi tertinggi sebesar 2,83 a.u didapatkan pada sampel dengan ketebalan 41 µm. Nilai efisiensi tertinggi sebesar 1,26 x 10-7% pada sampel dengan ketebalan 10 µm, dengan nilai ??? 0,30 x 10-6 mA/cm2, ??? 0,0656 V, FF 23 %. Sifat listrik dari sel surya perovskite dipengaruhi oleh ketebalan lapisan TiO2, semakin tipis lapisan TiO2 semakin tinggi nilai efisensi yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of a physics e-book based on STEM with self-regulated learning on global warming topics. This research is a design-based research (DBR) using 4D models (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The research sample refers to 3 expert assessments consisting of 2 expert lecturers and 1 senior high school physics teacher. Then the responses of 36 students. The instrument used is an expert validation sheet and legibility tests of the main idea of the e-book on each page. The results of data analysis using Aiken validation show that: 1) the suitability of the material with STEM is 0.83 in the category of valid, 2) the suitability of the e-book with Self-regulated learning (SRL) is 0.78 in the category of valid, and 3) the feasibility of e-book is 0.82 in the category of valid. Meanwhile, the results of the readability test showed a proportion of 99.83% in the good category. So, the development of a physics e-book base on STEM with self-regulated learning on global warming topic is "feasible" to be widely implemented
