Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui waktu proses minimum dan makespan yang diperlukan dalam suatu produksi dengan menggunakan data dari sebuah industri manufaktur yang memiliki 8 mesin dan 4 job. PT.XYZ saat ini belum memiliki sistem penjadwalan produksi yang efektif sehingga sering terjadimya keterlambatan pengiriman produk kepada customer yang berakibatkan penurunan kepercayaan pelanggan pada PT.XYZ sehingga pemintaan produksi menurun. Maka dari itu, dilakukan penelitian dengan pendekatan Heuristik dengan metode NEH. Nilai makespan yang dihasilkan dari pengolahan data menggunakan FCFS memiliki hasil yang leih besar yaitu 2,91 (jam), sedangkan nilai makespan yang dihasilkan metode NEH memiliki hasil yang lebih kecil yaitu 2,42 (jam). Metode NEH yang digunakan oleh peniliti dapat dijadikan sebagai usulan untuk perushaan dalam upaya mengurangi makespan proses produksi yang terpadat pada PT.XYZ dikarenakan metode NEH memiliki hasil lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan metode FCFS yang digunakan perusahaan, sehingga dapat mengurangi keterlambatan pengiriman kepada customer dan dapat memenuhi permintaan

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop learning media in the form of E-modules based on Problem Based Learning on human digestive system material to improve students' creative thinking skills which can be used in the learning process both online and offline. This development research uses the ADDIE development model which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire instrument and creative thinking pretest-posttest questions on 20 students at SMA Negeri 10 Sarolangun. The results of the expert validation show that the Problem Based Learning-based E-module that was developed is very feasible to use in the learning process at the trial stage. Teacher responses and student responses to the E-module being studied are very good to use. The test results show that the developed E-module is very good and feasible to use. Meanwhile, students' creative thinking skills have increased with the N-Gain value obtained which is in the category . This means that the E-module that is developed can effectively improve students' creative thinking skills. Further research is expected to be able to develop this Problem Based Learning-based E-module in other materials that are oriented towards creative thinking skills or other 21st century skills. Abstract

Raw materials are essential for production, sourced from natural reserves or acquired from suppliers. Material Requirement Planning (MRP) is a vital method for managing material demand, utilizing inventory, forecasts, and production schedules. This study addresses the importance of inventory control and MRP in ensuring adequate raw material supply for production. The research aims to analyze MRP calculations to determine the required raw material quantities over a specified period. By employing MRP, production planners can efficiently order raw materials to prevent shortages or excessive inventory. The results highlight the significance of MRP in optimizing inventory management and ensuring uninterrupted production. Highlights : MRP ensures efficient raw material management. Abstract

This study utilizes the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) method, focusing on the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to evaluate machine efficiency within a notable Indonesian noodle manufacturer. In the rapidly growing food manufacturing industry, particularly dry and instant noodles, machine performance is critical for meeting increasing domestic and international market demands. Results reveal that the OEE values are below industry standards, primarily due to speed reductions, idle and minor stoppages, process defects, and breakdown losses. These findings emphasize the urgent need for preventive maintenance strategies to mitigate downtime and enhance productivity, providing valuable insights for global industries facing similar challenges. Highlights: Rapid growth in the food manufacturing industry demands increased productivity. Machine performance is crucial for maintaining optimal production processes. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) methods help measure and improve machine efficiency. Abstract

Prediksi merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan. Prediksi ini juga dapat membantu perusahaan dalam memperkirakan jumlah permintaan produknya di periode selanjutnya. PT. KLM seringkali mengalami kendala dalam hal bahan baku. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut sangatlah perlu dilakukan perhitungan prediksi agar dapat merencanakan jumlah bahan baku yang akan digunakan. Dalam penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode artificial neural network dengan menggunakan algoritma backpropagation. Data yang digunakan yaitu data penjualan kerupuk udang selama 4 tahun dari bulan Januari 2018 sampai dengan bulan Desember 2021 yang diambil pada bagian PPIC. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu hasil prediksi penjualan selama 12 periode berturut-turut dari bulan Januari sampai dengan Desember yaitu sebanyak 3.370, 1.522, 1.545, 1.681, 1.453, 1.737, 1.844, 1.530, 463, 1,515, 1,477, 1,514 dengan nilai roat mean square error sebesar 0,120.

Abstract

Air terjun Muara Karing termasuk ke dalam kawasan Geopark Merangin yang menjadi tujuan wisata alam. Hal ini tidak seimbang dengan pengetahuan wisatawan terhadap kondisi lingkungan. Perifiton dapat dijadikan sebagai bioindikator perairan karena sifat perifiton yang mampu merespon bahan polutan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelimpahan perifiton pada substrat alami di air terjun muara karing kawasan Geopark Merangin. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Oktober 2022-Juni 2023 dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelimpahan perifiton pada ketiga stasiun (dalam satuan individu/125cm2) berturut-turut yaitu 1.554; 461; dan 490.

Abstract

Industri jasa ekspedisi ternama di indonesia berupaya untuk mengoptimalkan pengiriman dan biaya bahan bakar, dimana jarak tempuh dalam setiap hari sebesar 1.607.100 KM. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan penyedia jasa layanan pengiriman barang adalah menetapkan biaya pengiriman yang diharapkan agar dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan keuntungan perusahan. Dapat di kategorikan sebagai kendala jarak tempuh dalam penentuan rute pengiriman serta memiliki banyak penyelesaian yang dapat di terapkan guna mendapatkan jarak rute yang optimal atau terdekat. Algoritma genetika merupakan metode komputasi yang digunakan untuk memilih solusi yang sesuai dan efektif dengan kriteria tanpa harus memeriksa pada seluruh kemungkinan jarak yang sesuai. Dari hasil evaluasi menggunakan metode algoritma genetika dapat di dapatkan total jarak 1.521.000 KM dengan penghematan biaya bahan bakar sebanyak Rp 493.844 persetiap harinya. Dari penelitian ini di harapkan mendapatkan jarak yang paling optimal dan dapat menekan biaya bahan bakar pada proses pengiriman.

Abstract

PT. Weiss Tech has received a project order for the fabrication and installation of coffee packaging production machines from PT.XYZ, scheduled to start on June 19, 2023, with a deadline of June 24, 2024, spanning 54 weeks. The project has been ongoing for 16 weeks with an update indicating that only 20% of the planned progress has been achieved, which suggests that it may not be completed on time. To evaluate the project's performance, the EVM  method will be used to identify critical tasks and reduce the project duration using the Precedence Diagram Method with the help of MS Project software. The evaluation shows negative values for CV and SV variances, as well as performance index SPI<1 and CPI<1, indicating poor project performance. The critical tasks identified include electrical & instrument installation, machine & utility installation, trial work, assembly, quality control, polishing, milling, turning, cutting, and design. Design work has been identified as the most influential on the critical path. By rescheduling the project plan, positive values for CV and SV have been achieved. With the SPI value of 1.13 and CPI value of 1, it can be concluded that future project performance will be completed faster and within budget.

Abstract

Along with the increasing need for productivity and the use of high technology in the form of production machines and factories, the need for maintenance functions is also increasing. At PT. Weiss Tech, a packaging machine manufacturer, has problems mainly related to wire cut machine malfunctions which cause interruptions and delays in the production process and reduce machine performance. In overcoming these problems in this study, the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) II method from Failure Modes and Effect Analyze (FMEA) was used. RCM II is one of the methods used to determine which components are due for repairs, while FMEA is defined as a method for identifying the root cause of engine failure. From the results of calculations using FMEA and RCM II, the results of the maintenance interval for the Electromotor component (electric motor) with a maintenance interval of 20 hours, for the Lower and upper nozzle components (upper and lower nozzles) with a maintenance interval of 181 hours, and for the Roller component (drive roller) ) with a treatment interval of 177 hours

Abstract

Machines are the main element in manufacturing companies, and the role of machine performance is vital in the production process. Downtime problems caused by machine damage can significantly affect company productivity. This research implements the support vector machine (SVM) method for predicting Dry 8 production machine line maintenance, which aims to reduce downtime and increase productivity. The SVM method is known for its high accuracy and low error rate. The evaluation process used four kernel functions: linear, radial basis function (RBF), polynomial and sigmoid. The linear kernel function performed best with 99.8% accuracy, 83% precision, recall, and f1-score. These results show that the SVM method can be a viable solution to improve the efficiency of machine maintenance. Keywords: Confusion Matrix, Machine Learning, Predictive Maintenance, Support Vector Machine
