Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the risk assessment of patients falling by nurses at Sri Pamela Tebing Tinggi Hospital in 2023. The method used is an analytical descriptive approach with a cross-sectional design. The study population involved all nurses on duty in the inpatient room, with samples taken by purposive sampling. Data were collected through direct observation of the implementation of fall risk assessments and structured interviews. The results showed that most nurses had carried out a good fall risk assessment, but there were some nurses who had not reassessed low-risk patients with a fall if there was a change in condition. Fall risk prevention measures have also been well implemented, although there are still shortcomings in implementation of high-risk fall prevention measures. It is recommended to hospitals to improve training and supervision for nurses, as well as strengthen the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the assessment and prevention of fall risks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture, leadership style, and compensation on employee performance. A strong organizational culture can create a conducive work environment, increase motivation, and strengthen employee commitment to company goals. An effective leadership style also plays an important role in motivating employees to achieve their best performance, by providing clear direction and creating a mutually supportive relationship between leaders and team members. Fair and competitive compensation not only serves as a reward for achievement but also as a tool to retain the best talent in the company. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method using journal literature reviews, where data is collected through journal reviews in various industrial sectors. The results of the analysis show that organizational culture, leadership style, and compensation have a significant influence on employee performance simultaneously. Individually, organizational culture and compensation are proven to have a stronger relationship to performance improvement, while leadership style also has a significant impact at a lower level. This research provides insight for companies in designing managerial strategies to improve performance through effective management of organizational culture, leadership style, and compensation systems.

Abstract

Curly red chili is one of the contributors to inflation because the price of curly red chili fluctuates and is influenced by the season.  Fluctuations in chili prices will result in economic instability and increased inflation which will lead to a decrease in people's ability to meet their daily needs, thereby increasing poverty. This research was conducted in Bengkulu City because red chili production continues to decline due to the conversion of agricultural land into housing. The data used is time series data on the price of curly red chili at the retailer level per day in March 2021 – May 2025 which was converted into monthly data by averaging. This data was obtained from the National Food Agency. Judging from the pattern of chili price developments in August - November 2025, there was an increase in prices, while in August - November 2024 there was a decrease. At the end of 2024, prices are expected to fall due to good weather conditions so that the harvest of curly red chili can be maximized.  Meanwhile, at the end of 2025, prices will increase due to weather conditions that will enter the rainy season. From March 2021 to July 2024, the highest price of curly red chili was IDR 84,000/Kg, namely in July 2022, while the lowest price was IDR 22,000/Kg in June 2021. The price of curly red chili in June 2025 - December 2025 was remained drop at  price of IDR 28,000/Kg, it could fluctuate due to various factors impacting chili cultivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of production risk, price risk, and cost risk in cabbage farming in Selupu Rejang District, Rejang Regency, Bengkulu Province. This research used descriptive quantitative method with survey approach. The research sample was 92 cabbage farmers selected by purposive sampling from the four largest cabbage producing villages. Data analysis was done by calculating the mean, variance, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, and lower limit. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the level of risk of production, price, and cost is low because the CV value <0.5 with a production CV value of 0.0013, a price CV value of 0.0018 and a cost CV value of 0.000033. In addition, the value of the lower limit (L) is more than 0, which means that farmers have the opportunity to experience profits with a production L value of 570,228, a price L value of 320,865, and a cost L value of 936,009,909.Keywords: risk, farming, cabbage.
