Abstract

Referral problems in high-risk pregnancy can increase pregnant woman mortality. Beside of referral's delay in an emergency case, delay in knowing the danger sign also be the problem. In the development of technology, many information systems can be applied to recognize the danger signs of pregnancy and request immediate help in an emergency case. One of them is using the application on the smartphone. This study aims to develop a framework of emergency call application in pregnant women. This study was literature review research from the journal year 2009-2019, book, proceeding that related to danger signs of pregnancy and emergency call apss in pregnant women. Time research was done in July until Agustus 2019. The Result is a development framework of emergency call application in pregnant woman consists of personal information, danger sign information, calculator prediction of risk pregnancy, emergency button, chat feature, and examination history. It needs to identify health professionals, health care, and family that can be contacted immediately. The Conclusion is To implement an emergency system application for pregnant women, good technology literacy and joint commitments are needed.

Abstract

Kesehatan remaja merupakan hal yang krusial untuk diperhatikan. Kelurahan Bulusan Kota Semarang telah mengaktifkan posyandu remaja sejak tahun 2022. Meskipun demikian, penggalakan kegiatan sosialisasi dan edukasi mengenai hidup sehat baik fisik, mental maupun sosial pada remaja perlu untuk dilakukan. Oleh karena itu dilakukan pelaksanaan pengabdian untuk penggerakan hidup sehat (healthy lifestyle) pada remaja dengan melibatkan lintas sektor seperti Forum Kesehatan Kelurahan, Kelurahan, dan Kecamatan. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilakukan pada bulan September hingga November 2023. Dalam pelaksanaannya dilakukan koordinasi perizinan, pengembangan media edukasi, pelaksanaan sosialisasi, dan evaluasi. Penguatan kesehatan fisik, mental, maupun sosial perlu dilakukan dan diperlukan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, tidak hanya sektor kesehatan tetapi juga non kesehatan.

Abstract

Pada beberapa dekade terakhir, teknologi informasi mulai diterapkan dalam layanan kesehatan salah satunya adalah spatial computing seperti virtual reality, augmented reality, metaverse, dan sebagainya. Edukasi terkait penerapan teknologi tersebut perlu dilakukan kepada akademisi maupun praktisi kesehatan yang tertarik untuk mengkaji dan mengembangkan lebih lanjut pemanfaatan spatial computing dalam layanan kesehatan. Pelaksanaan sosialisasi dan edukasi telah dilakukan secara daring melalui GoogleMeet dengan respon yang cukup baik dari peserta. Meskipun peluang penerapan dan pengembangan spatial computing dalam layanan kesehatan di Indonesia cukup besar, tetapi diperlukan dukungan infrastruktur, sumber daya, anggaran, dan regulasi yang memadai.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Surat keterangan sakit merupakan surat keterangan yang diberikan dokter untuk pasien yang dinyatakan sakit oleh dokter setelah melalui pemeriksaan kesehatan. Berdasarkan Pasal 93 ayat (2) huruf a Undang-Undang Nomor 13 tahun 2003 mengenai Ketenagakerjaan, surat keterangan sakit dapat digunakan oleh pekerja sebagai dasar melakukan izin ke tempat kerja ketika sakit dan tetap dapat memperoleh upah. Adanya layanan kesehatan jarak jauh melalui telemedisin memunculkan berbagai isu etik dan hukum salah satunya terkait pemberian surat keterangan sakit secara online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi dan harapan pengguna telemedisin terkait surat keterangan sakit yang diterbitkan secara online melalui layanan telemedisin.Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif  dengan pengambilan data melalui survey online yang dilakukan pada bulan Maret hingga Juni 2023 pada 100 orang responden.Hasil: Sebanyak 11 responden (11%) menyebutkan pernah memperoleh surat keterangan sakit online dari layanan telemedisin, meskipun 3 responden menyebutkan surat tersebut tidak sesuai dengan kondisi kesehatan senyatanya. Sebanyak 62 responden (62%) setuju jika surat keterangan sakit dapat diberikan secara online melalui telemedisin. Dan 99 responden (99%) setuju jika terdapat regulasi mengenai penggunaan dan keabsahan surat sakit online.Simpulan: Perlu adanya regulasi mengenai syarat dan prosedur pemeriksaan untuk mendapatkan surat keterangan sakit melalui telemedicine dan keabsahan penggunaannya. Selain itu, perlu peningkatan teknologi kedokteran dalam mendukung pemeriksaan jarak jauh melalui layanan telemedisin. Kata kunci: surat keterangan sakit, telemedisin, telekonsultasi Title: Validity of Telemedicine Services Related to Online Sickness Certificates in User Perceptions and ExpectationsBackground: A sick leave certificate is a certificate given by a doctor to a patient who is declared sick by a doctor after going through a medical examination. Based on Article 93 paragraph (2) letter a of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower, a sick leave certificate can be used by workers as a basis for obtaining permission to work when they are sick and can still receive wages. The existence of remote health services through telemedicine raises various ethical and legal issues, one of which is related to the provision of online sick certificates. This study aims to determine the perceptions and expectations of telemedicine users regarding sick certificates issued online through telemedicine services. Methods: This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive approach which data collected using online survey and were conducted from March to June 2023 on 100 respondents.Result: Based on the research, 11 respondents (11%) had obtained an online sick certificate, although 3 respondents stated that the letter did not match the actual conditions. As many as 62 respondents (62%) agreed that sick certificates could be provided online via telemedicine. And 99 respondents (99%) agree that there are regulations regarding the use and legitimacy of online sick notes.Conclusion: There needs to be regulation regarding the terms and procedures for examination to obtain a sick certificate through telemedicine and the validity of its use. In addition, it is necessary to improve medical technology to support remote examinations through telemedicine services.Keywords: online sick certificate; telemedicine; teleconsultation

Abstract

Improving women health literacy is crucial. In addition to improving individual health conditions, a mother is also closer to her child in terms of parenting. Nevertheless, there are still various factors that influence the improvement of health literacy, especially in coastal areas. This study aims to determine the health literacy of women in coastal areas and the factors that influence it. This research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The research was conducted from March to July 2021 with locations in 4 sub-districts in the coastal area at Semarang City, namely Genuk, Tugu, North Semarang, and West Semarang. Respondents in this study were 220 people who were selected using the cluster random sampling technique. Data were obtained through interviews with questionnaires and analyzed by univariate and bivariate tests. Based on the results of the study, most of the respondents (65.5%) had health literacy at a medium level. Several factors that influence health literacy include education (p-value=0.006 ), motivation (p-value=0.0001), resources (p-value=0.0001), and social culture (p-value=0.011). Increasing knowledge and motivation related to health can be done through informal health training and group sharing. In addition, the support of resources from the government and the support of community leaders is also needed to improve health literacy in coastal areas. Abstrak: Peningkatan literasi kesehatan pada wanita merupakan hal yang krusial. Selain untuk meningkatkan kondisi kesehatan individual, seorang ibu juga lebih dekat dengan anak dalam hal pengasuhan. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat berbagai faktor yang berpengaruh dalam peningkatan literasi kesehatan terutama di daerah pesisir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui literasi kesehatan pada wanita di daerah pesisir dan faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan selama bulan Maret hingga Juli 2021 dengan lokasi di 4 Kecamatan daerah pesisir Kota Semarang yaitu Genuk, Tugu, Semarang Utara dan Semarang Barat. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 220 orang yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan uji univariat serta bivariat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian sebagian besar responden (65,5%) memiliki literasi kesehatan dengan dengan level menengah. Beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap literasi kesehatan diantaranya adalah pendidikan (p=0.006 ), motivasi (p=0.0001), sumber daya (p=0.0001), dan kultur sosial (p=0.011). Peningkatan pengetahuan dan motivasi terkait kesehatan dapat dilakukan melalui pelatihan informal  kesehatan  dan grup sharing. Selain itu dukungan sumber daya dari pemerintah dan dukungan tokoh masyarakat juga diperlukan untuk meningkatkan literasi kesehatan di daerah pesisir.

Abstract

The efforts tobbuild patient safety culture is the first step forxachieving patient safety. RSUD RA Kartini should have implemented a good patient safety culture, because patient safety is relating to the hospital quality services. The purpose of this study is analysing the implementation of policies as effort to build patient safety culture at RSUD RA. Kartini. This study is axqualitative research with analyticalcdescriptive approach and purposive sampling technique with in-depthxinterview data collection method. Thexresearchxsubjects consisted of medical staff , Chair of the Quality and Patient Safety Committee (KMKP), Chairxof the Patient Safety Sub Committee, KMKP staff, and Head of Medical Services Division of RSUD RA. Kartini. The resultsxof the study indicate that there is no regulation or procedure of individual roles in handling incidents. Staff openness, mutual trust and awareness in reporting incidents are still low because there are some staff who do not understand the mechanism for reporting incidents. Decreasing concern among staff if an incident occurs so that are not reported. The follow-up to the patient safety incident report at the RA Kartini Hospital was not optimal because the supervision from the board office directors and KMKP, named Patient Safety Round program had not been carried out routinely. The policy implementation in building a patient safety culture at RSUD RA Kartini has not been maximal because there are several aspects that have not been implemented properly.

Abstract

The most influential factor in achieving the quality of hospital services is human resource management. Fulfilling the standards set in hospital accreditation for each service delivery to patients, both medically and non-medically, is an effort that can be made to maintain service quality. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach with the aim of getting an overview of the state of human resource management in the CSSD Installation of X Hospital Semarang City. The results of the study found that human resource management at the CSSD Installation staff had met the KKS SNARS standards and so far had been able to support maintaining the maximum results of hospital accreditation. However, in practice, there were things that were not suitable, such as recruitment of staff who did not meet the predetermined requirements, there was a shortage of applicants due to the requirements being set too high. There are also staff whose job descriptions are only oriented to the output of the CSSD installation, namely the procurement of sterile goods for other units in the hospital in a timely manner without regard to applicable standards and procedures such as the use of personal protective equipment. With this research, it can be used as material for consideration for hospitals in conducting in-depth evaluations in the process of implementing human resource management.

Abstract

The spread of COVID-19 has also affected primary health services, including the Puskesmas Temanggung, or Indonesian Primary Health Care which is located in Temanggung Regency, Central Java Province. Based on the regulation of the Minister of Health Number 43 of 2019 concerning Community Health Centers, it is known that the Puskesmas, is responsible for implementing health policies, including policies for preventing and controlling COVID-19 infections. The research, which was conducted from October to November 2022, adapted a qualitative research design with an analytic descriptive approach. Based on this research, it was found that the communication aspects that affected Infection Prevention and Control, namely transmission, clarity and consistency, were good. While in the aspect of resources found deficiencies in infrastructure and capabilities of human resources. Dispositional aspects are less found in implementing commitment. Meanwhile, in the aspect of bureaucratic structure, there are deficiencies in the Standart Operating Procedure (SOP) for several precautions.

Abstract

The importance of Quality Improvement (QI) in health services is to improve the quality of health services continuously. Quality Improvement (I) can minimize complaints and achieve patient satisfaction. Based on JKN data, the Diponegoro I Primary Clinic is the primary clinic with the highest number of participants in Semarang City, namely 27,522 participants. Based on unstructured interviews with the clinic manager, the high level of complaint reports from patients because of dissatisfaction with the general poly services at the Diponegoro I Primary Clinic. The aim of this research is to analyze the level of patient satisfaction for general poly services at the Diponegoro I Primary Clinic through a balance between expectations and performance in the quality dimension (SERVQUAL). This research is a descriptive quantitative type with a cross-sectional design. The total research sample was 110 general poly patients. The data analysis technique uses the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method, which consists of suitability level analysis and quadrant analysis. The research results show the level of conformity of quality dimensions is 95.78%. While each dimension is tangible (96.88%), reliability (94.17%), responsiveness (96.50%), assurance (96.54%), and empathy (94.81%). There are items should be improved by the clinic, toilet facilities cleanliness, service time by online registration system implementation, service procedure information to patients, doctor’s scheduled board updates, and SOPs implementation to inform medicine side effects to patients. The improvement to increase the level of patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Postpartum family planning is a contraceptive service targeting mothers who have just given birth 0-42 days with the aim of preventing unwanted pregnancies. The high maternal mortality rate is caused by complications during pregnancy, so it is very important to use postpartum contraception. However, in Puskesmas Padangsari working area, the utilization of postpartum family planning services was very low,namely 28,47%. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of analyzed the utilization of postpartum family planning services in the Puskesmas Padangsari working area.This research was a quantitative research with a cross sectional approach using the accidental sampling technique where from a population of 198 mothers giving birth from January to December 2023, the sample was calculated using the slovin formula and with an error degree of 7%, a minimum sample size of 101 respondents was obtained. The research was carried out form January to March 2024.Bivariate data analysis using logistic regression test. Based on the research results, 44,7% of respondents had poor utilization of postpartum family planning services. Factors that did not influence the use of postpartum family planning services are mistrust, perception,and communication between service providers and patients. Meanwhile, the factors that influence the utilization of postpartum family planning services are cultural competency (p=0,069), perceived need (p=0.001), and customer satisfaction (p=0.005).
