Abstract

Indonesia belum memiliki regulasi spesifik mengenai RME ataupun RME berbasis cloud. Cloud based-electronic medical record (cloud based-EMR) has been developing in Indonesia. These services have some benefits such as lower costs, more user-friendly features, potential for data sharing, and support to clinical decision-making. Nevertheless, the implementation has implicationsin ethical and legal issues such as data and network security, cloud service provider, data sharing procedures, and medical privacy. Indonesia has no specific regulation on EMR or cloud-based EMR. EMR and cloud based-EMR regulation are needed so that its implementation does not contradict with Indonesian ethics and laws.

Abstract

Background of the study: The response of members of the motorcycle community in Semarang to social media is in the spotlight because it triggers brawls. A person's ability to respond to digital information is interesting to study from two sides: the information science side, which focuses on digital literacy, and the psychology side, which uses the Freudian psychoanalytic approach. Purpose: A more profound investigation is required to ascertain the Freudian psychoanalytic perspective on digital literacy of the motorcycle community in Semarang. Method: Qualitative research with a phenomenological approach was selected to investigate the experiences of motorcycle community members in Semarang regarding digital literacy. Data were gathered through interviews, observations, and document analysis. This research involved six informants who are members of the motorcycle community in Semarang. Findings: The relationship between psychoanalysis and digital literacy can be utilized to gain insight into the Freudian psychoanalytic perspective on digital literacy within the motorcycle community in Semarang. One of the critical areas of study in Freudian psychoanalysis is the development of an individual's cognitive processes. As observed through psychoanalytic lenses, the digital literacy abilities of motorcycle community members in Semarang can be understood based on three fundamental elements: the id, ego, and superego. Conclusion: A complex array of internal and external factors shapes the digital literacy behavior of the motorcycle community in Semarang. The internal elements are primarily influenced by Freudian psychoanalysis, which posits the existence of three fundamental psychological drives: the id, ego, and superego. In contrast, external elements are shaped by mind space, which encompasses both cognitive processes and environmental factors. These two domains collectively influence an individual's behavior, thought patterns, and decision-making abilities.

Abstract

Abstract

The contact tracing policy strategy implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic requires data on COVID-19 patients to be accessible to the public so that people who have been in contact with the positive patient can do self-isolate. However, this is contrary to medical secrets and the confidentiality of COVID-19 patient data as a form of private law. This research is normative research with a statutory approach (statue approach) and conceptual (conceptual approach). Based on ethical and legal aspects, the confidentiality of COVID-19 patient data must be maintained. This data can be disclosed with the patient consent or disclosed to the Health Office to conduct epidemiological investigations. Suppose the contact investigation involves several parties: the neighborhood unit, the village head, Village Community Empowerment Service, police, and other parties. In that case, further regulation is needed to ensure the commitment of these parties in maintaining COVID-19 patient data. Disseminating patient data openly or publicly can make harm to the patient, especially in the not good environment with risk of stigmatization. There is also a need for harmony between existing regulations and the programs or policies implemented by the government.

Abstract

Introduction: In the competitive healthcare industry, G Clinic has demonstrated successful marketing practices through the New Wave Marketing (NWM) approach, resulting in a 17.4% increase in repeat visits from self-paying general patients. This study aimed to analyze the correlation between NWM dimensions and reutilization of outpatient services at the G Clinic. Methods : A quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted from March to June 2025 at G Clinic, Bekasi City. A total of 110 respondents were selected using accidental sampling. Data were collected through direct interviews (80%) and self-administered questionnaires (20%). Data were analyzed using the chi-square test, with NWM as the independent variable and decision to reuse outpatient services as the dependent variable. Results: Most respondents were young adults (40.9%) and female (65.5%). The majority attained a higher level of education (98.2%). The most common employment status was private sector employment (27.3%). The predominant range of total family income was IDR 5,000,000–IDR 7,999,999 (30.9%). There was a significant relationship between patients' decisions to return and all the NWM dimensions: strategy (p=0.000), tactics (p=0.000), and value-added (p=0.000). This finding highlights the importance of each element in building patient loyalty. Conclusion: The three dimensions of New Wave Marketing—strategy, tactics, and value-added— are associated with the decision to reutilize outpatient services at the G Clinic. It is recommended to develop engaging social media content, design service flow infographics, use the WhatsApp Business API, and launch a Patient Experience Highlight program. Other clinics should also showcase service catalogs on social media, monitor digital reviews, and apply consistent brand guidelines.
