Abstract

The most influential factor in achieving the quality of hospital services is human resource management. Fulfilling the standards set in hospital accreditation for each service delivery to patients, both medically and non-medically, is an effort that can be made to maintain service quality. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach with the aim of getting an overview of the state of human resource management in the CSSD Installation of X Hospital Semarang City. The results of the study found that human resource management at the CSSD Installation staff had met the KKS SNARS standards and so far had been able to support maintaining the maximum results of hospital accreditation. However, in practice, there were things that were not suitable, such as recruitment of staff who did not meet the predetermined requirements, there was a shortage of applicants due to the requirements being set too high. There are also staff whose job descriptions are only oriented to the output of the CSSD installation, namely the procurement of sterile goods for other units in the hospital in a timely manner without regard to applicable standards and procedures such as the use of personal protective equipment. With this research, it can be used as material for consideration for hospitals in conducting in-depth evaluations in the process of implementing human resource management.

Abstract

The spread of COVID-19 has also affected primary health services, including the Puskesmas Temanggung, or Indonesian Primary Health Care which is located in Temanggung Regency, Central Java Province. Based on the regulation of the Minister of Health Number 43 of 2019 concerning Community Health Centers, it is known that the Puskesmas, is responsible for implementing health policies, including policies for preventing and controlling COVID-19 infections. The research, which was conducted from October to November 2022, adapted a qualitative research design with an analytic descriptive approach. Based on this research, it was found that the communication aspects that affected Infection Prevention and Control, namely transmission, clarity and consistency, were good. While in the aspect of resources found deficiencies in infrastructure and capabilities of human resources. Dispositional aspects are less found in implementing commitment. Meanwhile, in the aspect of bureaucratic structure, there are deficiencies in the Standart Operating Procedure (SOP) for several precautions.

Abstract

The importance of Quality Improvement (QI) in health services is to improve the quality of health services continuously. Quality Improvement (I) can minimize complaints and achieve patient satisfaction. Based on JKN data, the Diponegoro I Primary Clinic is the primary clinic with the highest number of participants in Semarang City, namely 27,522 participants. Based on unstructured interviews with the clinic manager, the high level of complaint reports from patients because of dissatisfaction with the general poly services at the Diponegoro I Primary Clinic. The aim of this research is to analyze the level of patient satisfaction for general poly services at the Diponegoro I Primary Clinic through a balance between expectations and performance in the quality dimension (SERVQUAL). This research is a descriptive quantitative type with a cross-sectional design. The total research sample was 110 general poly patients. The data analysis technique uses the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method, which consists of suitability level analysis and quadrant analysis. The research results show the level of conformity of quality dimensions is 95.78%. While each dimension is tangible (96.88%), reliability (94.17%), responsiveness (96.50%), assurance (96.54%), and empathy (94.81%). There are items should be improved by the clinic, toilet facilities cleanliness, service time by online registration system implementation, service procedure information to patients, doctor’s scheduled board updates, and SOPs implementation to inform medicine side effects to patients. The improvement to increase the level of patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Postpartum family planning is a contraceptive service targeting mothers who have just given birth 0-42 days with the aim of preventing unwanted pregnancies. The high maternal mortality rate is caused by complications during pregnancy, so it is very important to use postpartum contraception. However, in Puskesmas Padangsari working area, the utilization of postpartum family planning services was very low,namely 28,47%. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of analyzed the utilization of postpartum family planning services in the Puskesmas Padangsari working area.This research was a quantitative research with a cross sectional approach using the accidental sampling technique where from a population of 198 mothers giving birth from January to December 2023, the sample was calculated using the slovin formula and with an error degree of 7%, a minimum sample size of 101 respondents was obtained. The research was carried out form January to March 2024.Bivariate data analysis using logistic regression test. Based on the research results, 44,7% of respondents had poor utilization of postpartum family planning services. Factors that did not influence the use of postpartum family planning services are mistrust, perception,and communication between service providers and patients. Meanwhile, the factors that influence the utilization of postpartum family planning services are cultural competency (p=0,069), perceived need (p=0.001), and customer satisfaction (p=0.005).

Abstract

Utilization of telemedicine services decreased after the pandemic conditions improved. Telemedicine utilization is closely related to the internet network. Central Java is the province with the lowest internet penetration rate in Java. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to the utilization of telemedicine services after the COVID-19 pandemic in Central Java. This type of research was quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design. This research was conducted in December 2023-March 2024. The sample in this study was 300 people in Central Java. The sampling technique used accidental sampling method. The analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the Chi Square test. This study showed that 50.3% of respondents utilized telemedicine services after the pandemic. Utilized telemedicine services after the pandemic related to education (p-value <0.001), knowledge (p-value <0.001), trust (p-value <0.001), family support (p-value <0.001), accessibility (p-value <0.001), and need (p-value <0.001). All independent variables in this study (education, knowledge, trust, family support, accessibility, needs) are associated with the utilization of telemedicine services after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Abstract In 2017, 106 Primary Health Care in Indonesia performed the Antenatal Care (ANC) component properly and correctly according to the 9T, 7T, 5T standards, respectively 18.8%, 23.2%, and 31.7%. Only 20.4% of the Primary Health Care had all the equipment, medicines, and media supporting 9T of ANC. Only one fifth of the midwives provided ANC services according to standards. This study to analyze the performance of midwives in providing Antenatal Care services and the factors that influence it seen from the studies that have been done. This study uses literature review method by analyzing 20 indexed journals, both national and international journals in the last 5 years. Review method with a systematic approach. The result are total of 13 journals stated that the performance of midwives in Antenatal Care services is good (>50%). 5 of 6 journals stated that there is a relationship between performance and age. 5 of 5 journals stated that there is a relationship between performance and facilities. 4 of 6 journals stated that there was a relationship between performance and training. 4 out of 4 journals stated that there is a relationship between performance and tenure. 10 out of 12 journals stated that there is a relationship between knowledge and performance. 8 of 11 journals stated that there is a relationship between motivation and performance. 3 of 5 journals stated that there is a relationship between leadership and performance. 3 out of 4 journals stated that there is a relationship between workload and midwife performance.The conclusion is the midwife's performance is good. Factors that influence performance are age, infrastructure, training, tenure, knowledge, motivation, leadership, and workload. The factor most researched is knowledge. The most influential factors are infrastructure and years of service. Abstrak Tahun 2017 sebanyak 106 puskesmas di Indonesia yang melakukan komponen Antenatal Care (ANC) secara baik dan benar menurut standar 9T, 7T, 5T berturut-turut sebesar 18,8%, 23,2%, dan 31,7%. Puskesmas yang memiliki seluruh peralatan, obat, dan media penunjang ANC 9T hanya sebesar 20,4% saja. Bidan yang melakukan pelayanan ANC sesuai standar hanya seperlimanya saja. Tujuan penelitian ini untuj menganalisis kinerja bidan dalam memberikan pelayanan Antenatal Care dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi dilihat dari penelitian-penelitian yang telah dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review dengan menganalisis 20 jurnal terindeks, baik jurnal nasional maupun internasional dalam kurun waktu 5 tahun terakhir. Metode review dengan pendekatan sistematis. Sebanyak 13 jurnal menyatakan kinerja bidan dalam pelayanan Antenatal Care sudah baik (>50%). 5 dari 6 jurnal menyatakan terdapat hubungan antara kinerja dengan usia. 5 dari 5 jurnal menyatakan terdapat hubungan antara kinerja dengan sarana prasana. 4 dari 6 jurnal menyatakan terdapat hubungan antara kinerja dengan pelatihan. 4 dari 4 jurnal menyatakan terdapat hubungan antara kinerja dengan masa kerja. 10 dari 12 jurnal menyatakan terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan kinerja. 8 dari 11 jurnal menyatakan terdapat hubungan antara motivasi dengan kinerja. 3 dari 5 jurnal menyatakan terdapat hubungan antara kepemimpinan dengan kinerja. 3 dari 4 jurnal menyatakan terdapat hubungan antara beban kerja dengan kinerja bidan. Dapat disimpulkan kinerja bidan sudah baik. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja yaitu usia, sarana prasarana, pelatihan, masa kerja, pengetahuan, motivasi, kepemimpinan, dan beban kerja. Faktor yang paling banyak diteliti yaitu pengetahuan. Faktor yang paling berpengaruh yaitu sarana prasarana dan masa kerja.

Abstract

Berdasarkan data Puskesmas Padangsari, diketahui bahwa cakupan pelayanan balita sudah mencapai 100% atau sebanyak 1.167 balita pada tahun 2023. Namun, kasus penyakit pada balita masih cukup tinggi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk upaya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan masyarakat, khususnya ibu balita untuk menerapkan MTBS berbasis masyarakat di lingkungan rumah untuk penurunan angka kesakitan pada bayi dan balita. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada tahun 2024 dengan peserta kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah ibu bayi dan balita, kader FKK, dan kader kesehatan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Padangsari. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Posyandu di Kelurahan Jabungan. Pada kegiatan tersebut disampaikan mengenai tanda bahaya pada balita, upaya perawatan di rumah untuk kasus diare, demam, dan batuk, perlindungan dari kekerasan dan kekerasan seksual bagi balita, dan lain sebagainya. Ibu balita di wilayah Puskesmas Padangsari khususnya di Kelurahan Jabungan menunjukkan partisipasi yang baik. Para ibu balita menunjukkan komitmen yang baik untuk melakukan pemantauan kesehatan balita mereka.

Abstract

Background: As of 2022, Semarang City has 4,083 companies. However, according to the Labor Office of Semarang City, only 109 out of 529 companies provide lactation clinics. In addition, based on previous research in Pedurungan, Semarang City, most of the women (83,3%) who work do not practice exclusive breastfeeding (EBF), one reason being the lack of lactation clinics in companies. Aims: This study examines the implementation of lactation clinic policies in companies in Semarang City. Methods: This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research variables included effectiveness, consistency, relevance, organizational structure, resources, sociocultural environment, economic environment, organizational culture, geographic environment, knowledge and skills, communication, and political support. Informants were selected based on purposive criteria, involving eight key informants and 18 supporting informants from eight companies in Semarang City. Results: Lactation clinic policies were ineffective because companies were unaware of their contents and perceived them as recommendations only. On the contrary, working mothers who breastfed recognized the benefits of the policies and considered them relevant. Three out of eight companies provided lactation clinics. The people in charge had yet to be appointed due to the different capacities of the companies. Due to a lack of support from the sociocultural environment, working mothers needed more awareness of the importance of breastfeeding. However, the companies' economic and geographic environments and organizational culture were relatively favorable. Meanwhile, adequate dissemination could have helped communication. In addition, most companies do not provide lactation clinics or recommend formula milk. Conclusion: The current policies have not adequately supported the provision of lactation clinics in companies in Semarang City. To address this issue, lactation clinics should be classified according to the companies' capacities. It is also necessary to develop a leading sector that is transparent and responsible for supervising the provision of lactation clinics. Abstract

Latar Belakang: Dalam pelayanan kesehatan, kepercayaan, empati dan komunikasi yang baik diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan dan mengurangi konflik. Meski demikian, terdapat salah satu tantangan dalam penerapannya yaitu munculnya medical gaslighting yang merupakan ketidakpercayaan tenaga kesehatan terhadap pasien sehingga meragukan pengalaman maupun kondisi yang dirasakan pasien.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis bibliometrik. Data yang diperoleh berasal dari database Scopus yang terbit pada tahun 2013-2023.Hasil: Berdasarkan analisis, terdapat  13 publikasi terkait medical gaslighting yang terindeks Scopus pada tahun 2013-2023, dimana artikel mengenai hal tersebut baru dipublish di tahun 2021. Terdapat 22 penulis yang membahas mengenai topik tersebut dan publikasi terbanyak didapatkan pada tahun 2023  dengan kontributor penulis terbanyak berasal dari Amerika Serikat.Kesimpulan: Perkembangan penelitian mengenai medical gaslighting mengalami pertumbuhan yang positif dari tahun ke tahun. Meski demikian belum ada penelitian mengenai hal tersebut di Indonesia. Hal ini menjadi peluang dalam mengembangkan riset dan kolaborasi terkait medical gaslighting.

Abstract

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) masih menjadi permasalahan di Indonesia. Inovasi Nyamuk Aedes Ber-Wolbachia mulai diterapkan dalam menaggulangi penyakit tersebut. Program tersebut telah diujicobakan pada beberapa tempat salah satunya di Kota Semarang. Meski demikian, masih terdapat penolakan dari masyarakat terkait teknologi tersebut. Oleh karena itu dilakukan edukasi terkait nyamuk Aedes Ber-Wolbachia yang dilakukan menggunakan e-booklet yang dibagikan kepada kader melalui grup whatsaap pada bulan Agustus 2024. Kegiatan ini mendapatkan respon yang baik dari kader dan diharapkan dapat menjadi media edukasi bagi kader dalam memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat.
