Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher's strategy in dealing with aggressive behavior in early childhood at Kihadjar Dewantoro 1 State Kindergarten, Kota Timur District, Gorontalo City. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with observation data collection techniques, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the research discussion, the strategy for dealing with early childhood aggressive behavior applied by teachers in Kihajdar Dewantoro 1 State Kindergarten, Kota Timur District, Gorontalo City, has been able to handle and minimize the occurrence of aggressive behavior. The results of this study describe the teacher's strategy for dealing with early childhood aggressive behavior in Kihajdar Dewantoro 1 State Kindergarten, Kota Timur District, Gorontalo City, that the strategy applied by the teacher has undergone changes for the better. Such as identifying children's problems by looking at and recording children's behavior with anecdotal notes. Then a gentle approach strategy by giving persuasion and giving praise. However, if a gentle approach strategy is not effective, a punishment strategy will be used.

Abstract

The study's objective is to improve the locomotor basic movement skill of Group B children by utilizing the traditional game Egrang Batok Kelapa as a media tool at TK State Bersehati Binjeita Kindergarten in Bolangitang Timur District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The locomotor skills include walking, running, and jumping. This quantitative research used an experimental method with a pre-test and post-test research design. The subjects were tested before and after the treatment was given.

Abstract

Based on the findings and discussion, it can be concluded that the Case Description of Learning Loss among children in Group B at TK Pembina Kindergarten in Kota Tengah District, Gorontalo City has a possibility of optimal development. This was evident from the four indicators; language, social, cognitive, and artistic aspects, where 6 out of 15 children experienced Learning Loss. This was proven by the lack of awareness from parents to allocate more time for children to explore their self-confidence, both at home and school, which was still not optimal. Such situations are also influenced by the role of teachers, who should pay more attention to the children in the classroom so they do not feel neglected, as teachers are the key to children's success. There are four aspects that serve as indicators for teachers to assess the development of knowledge in each child; social-emotional, artistic, cognitive, and language aspects.

Abstract

It applied a qualitative approach with a descriptive method and employed data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The study's subjects were the teachers and children at the research site. The data analysis involved describing the relevant findings obtained in the field regarding the aforesaid problem. The research findings indicated that teachers play a crucial role in the process of developing problem-solving skills in the context of the Natural Materials Center. Teachers need to employ engaging and experimental teaching methods that align with children's interests to fulfill this role. In conclusion, the teachers have successfully enhanced children's problem-solving abilities by acting as facilitators/informants, mediators, and classroom managers

Abstract

This study aims to gather data and information about Parenting self-efficacy, which refers to parents' confidence in their ability as parents. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and involves 10 parents as research subjects. The method comprised observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings on the role of parenting self-efficacy in early childhood development conclude that parents with high parenting self-efficacy were better at supporting their children's positive development compared to parents with low parenting self-efficacy. The important role in early childhood development lies in confident parents who tend to provide appropriate attention, stimulation, and support for their child's development. Confident parents are more effective in providing cognitive stimulation and building positive social relationships with their children. Early childhood is a crucial period in an individual's life, and parental involvement plays a significant role.

Abstract

This research aims to describe how the character of love for one's country is formed through Strengthening Character Education activities at the Raudhatul Athfal AL-MOURKY School. The type of research used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. In this case, the main data are teachers and parents. The education of the character of love for the country in children is very good, many children listen to the advice given by teachers and are able to develop the character of love for the country within themselves. Based on research conducted at RA AL-MOURKY, Telaga District, Gorontalo Regency, the education of the character of love for the country in children is very good, many children listen to the advice given by teachers and are able to develop the character of love for the country in themselves. Teachers also build a harmonious atmosphere with children so that each child is united with each other, so that children do not develop feelings of discriminating against their friends.

Abstract

This article discusses the impact of the Movement and Song Method on the Kinesthetic Intelligence of 4-5 Year old Children at TK State Kartini Kindergarten, Duano Village, Suwawa Tengah District, Bone Bolango Regency. The study aims to determine how the movement and song method impacts the kinesthetic intelligence of 5-6 year old children. This quantitative research employed an experimental method. The research design used was a one-group pretest-posttest design with data collection techniques, including observation and tests. The subjects were 5-6 year old children, with a sample size of 15 children. Based on the t-test analysis (paired sample test), the results showed that tcount was greater than ttable (14.701 > 2.160) and the sig (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, Ha was accepted, and the HO was rejected. It can be concluded that the movement and song method significantly impacts the kinesthetic intelligence of 4-5 year old children at TK State Kartini Kindergarten, Duano Village, Suwawa Tengah District, Bone Bolango Regency.

Abstract

The study formulation was to determine the teacher’s creativity in introducing Pancasila to pre-school kids TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Bolobungkang Village, Lobu District, Banggai Regency. This qualitative research was conducted in TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Bolobungkang Village Lobu District Banggai Regency. The study’s object was the teacher’s creativity in introducing Pancasila. Teacher creativity indicators in introducing Pancasila include creative ideas, innovative learning activities, educational media creation, and creative learning strategies. The research findings indicated that teachers use innovative media, including teaching aids, Pancasila puzzles, coloring Pancasila drawings, and national songs, to introduce Pancasila in daily life. In introducing the first principle of Pancasila, the teachers used strategies such as religious activities, whle the second principle is by fostering sensitivity and empathy among students towards their peers, whereas the third principle is by teaching students to respect and appreciate differences. Further, the teacher introduces the fourth principle of Pancasila by engaging students in discussions and asking about their preferences in choosing games to play, while the fifth principle is introduced by accustoming children to the queuing culture and guiding children not to disturb their peers’ rights.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to describe the role of the teacher in developing expressive language skills in children of group B at TK (Kindergarten) Damhil DWP, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo City. This research employed a qualitative approach, with descriptive metdhos and data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were teachers and children in Class B of TK Damhil. Meanwhile, the data analysis was carried out by describing things found in the field related to the role of the teacher as an educator, teacher as a teacher, and teacher as a guide for children in developing their language. The findings depicted that, in the process of developing expressive language in children at school, the teacher provided learning facilities and media to develop language in children, supervised children’s learning activities, and always provided motivation/encouragement to children during the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yang menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, subjek penelitian adalah orang tua anak yang ada di TK Mutiara yang berjumlah 5 orang. Analisis data yang dilakukan mendeskripsikan hal-hal yang di temukan dilapangan yang berhubungan dengan keterlibatan orang tua dalam pembelajaran PAUD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam keterlibatan orang tua dalam pembelajaran yaitu menjadi pendamping sekaligus pengganti guru dirumah,mengontrol waktu belajar,mendampigi saat belajar,orang tua mengalami kendala yaitu kesibukan orang tua dan juga factor ekonomi.
