Abstract

ABSTRACT Allergy is a hypersensitivity reaction associated with specific IgE, which, upon re-exposure to the same allergen, results in the release of histamine and other mediators, causing allergic symptoms. In allergic reactions, IgE levels increase, and IL-5 plays a significant role. Nigella sativa (NS) has an anti-inflammatory role thru its thymoquinone content, which can inhibit the formation of oxidants and reduce inflammatory mediators. Vitamin D in atopic diseases reduces the Th2 lymphocyte immune response in the airways. To determine the effect of NS and vitamin D on the reduction of serum IFN-γ and IL-5 levels in Ovalbumin-induced Balb/c mice. Methods: This study is a true experiment with a post-test only control group design, using 30 Balb/c mice as research subjects divided into 5 groups: 1) negative control, 2) positive control (allergy), 3) NS treatment group, 4) vitamin D treatment, 5) NS + vitamin D treatment (combination). Serum IL-5 and IFN-γ levels were compared for each group. There were significant differences in IL-5 levels between the negative control group and the positive control group (p= 0.007), the positive control group and NS (p= 0.020), and the positive control group and the NS+vitamin D combination (p= 0.033). There were significant differences in IFN-γ levels between the positive control group and NS (p=0.01), NS and vitamin D (p= 0.006), and NS and the NS+vitamin D combination (p= 0.013). Nigella Sativa significantly reduced IL-5 levels and increased IFN-γ levels, while Vitamin D had no effect on IL5 and IFN-γ levels. Keywords: Nigella Sativa, Vitamin D, IL-5, IFN-γ, OVA Sensitization.  ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Alergi adalah suatu reaksi hipersensitivitas yang berhubungan dengan IgE spesifik yang jika terpapar ulang alergen yang sama mengakibatkan penglepasan histamin dan mediator lainnya menimbulkan gejala alergi. Pada reaksi alergi meningkatnya kadar IgE, IL-5 yang berperan penting dalam reaksi alergi. Nigella sativa (NS) memiliki peran anti inflamasi melalui kandungan thymoquinone yang dapat menghambat terbentuknya oksidan dan penurunan mediator inflamasi. Vitamin D pada penyakit atopi, menurunkan respon imun limfosit Th2 pada jalan nafas. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh NS dan vitamin D terhadap penurunan kadar IFN- γ, dan IL-5 serum pada mencit Balb/c yang diinduksi Ovalbumin. Metode: Penelitian ini suatu true experiment with post-test only control group design menggunakan 30 ekor mencit Balb/c sebagai subjek penelitian yang dibagi dalam 5 kelompok: 1) kontrol negatif, 2) kontrol positif (alergi), 3) kelompok perlakuan NS, 4) perlakuan vitamin D, 5) perlakuan NS + vitamin D (kombinasi).  Kadar IL-5 dan IFN- γ serum setiap kelompok dibandingkan. Hasil: Terdapat perbedaan bermakna kadar IL-5 antara kelompok kontrol negatif dengan kontrol positif (p= 0.007), kelompok kontrol positif dengan NS (p= 0.020), kelompok kontrol positif dengan kombinasi NS+vitamin D (p= 0.033). Perbedaan bermakna kadar IFN-γ antara kelompok kontrol positif dengan NS (p=0.01), kelompok NS dengan vitamin D (p= 0.006), dan kelompok NS dengan kombinasi NS+vitamin D (p= 0.013). Simpulan: Nigella Sativa menurunkan kadar IL-5 dan meningkatkan kadar IFN-γ secara bermakna, sedangkan Vitamin D tidak berpengaruh terhadap kadar IL5 dan kadar IFN-γ. Kata Kunci: Nigella Sativa, Vitamin D, IL-5, IFN- γ, Sensitisasi OVA.

Abstract

Ethnobotany is a branch of science that studies the correlation between humans and plants. Generally, the basic ingredients for making herbal medicine come from types of medicinal plants. The majority of city residents buy medicinal plants from markets or drug stores. Pasar Raya I Salatiga as a source of meeting the needs of the people of Salatiga City. The aim of this research is to know the types of medicinal plants being sold, knowing the parts of the medicinal plants being sold, knowing the shape of the medicinal plants being sold, knowing how to obtain the medicinal plants being sold, and knowing the agrotechnological engineering actions of one of the medicinal plants being sold. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. This research was conducted with three herbal medicine sellers, three consumers, and three ginger farmers. This research was conducted in August-September 2023. Data collection techniques used semi-structured interviews, observation, literature study and documentation. Data processing with simple statistics. The research results found a total of 92 medicinal plants. The parts of medicinal plants sold include roots (4%), stems (7%), seeds (19%), fruit (16%), flowers (4%), leaves (26%), leaves & flowers (1%), herbs (1%), bark (4%), rhizomes (15%), and tubers (3%). The forms of medicinal plants sold include dry (71%), fresh (17%), dry & fresh (7%), and processed (5%). All medicinal plants are obtained by purchasing. Agrotechnological engineering actions carried out by ginger farmers include applying fertilizer, planting in the right season and scheduling planting.

Abstract

Ethnobotany is a branch of science that studies how people use plants. Patemon Village has abundant biodiversity potential for medicinal plants. Therefore, research on the ethnobotany of medicinal plants in Patemon Village was conducted. The descriptive qualitative narrative method was used in this study with 10 respondents from 4 hamlets in Patemon Village, namely Wates Kulon, Surodadi, Bontit Hamlets representing areas bordering the natural forest area of Mount Merbabu and Patemon Hamlet as the center of government. Respondent sampling used snowball sampling. Interviews were conducted with 10 key informants (4 hamlet heads, 6 shamans/healers/community leaders) and supporting informants of 5 medicinal plant farmers with the highest Relative Frequency of Citation (RFC) and data analysis using simple statistics. The results of the study showed that the types of medicinal plants used by the Patemon Village community were 40 types, consisting of 21 families, including ginger (RFC 1), lemongrass (0.9), and turmeric (0.8) which were used for the treatment and prevention of diseases, mostly used to treat internal diseases. The part of the medicinal plant most widely used for treatment is the leaves, which is 35%. 48% of medicinal plants are used by drinking them. Plants that are used as medicine are obtained from home gardens with a value of 85%. To increase the yield of ginger plants, ginger farmers in Patemon produce their own ginger seeds, this is done because farmers can choose seeds with good quality.

Abstract

Sangiran Archaeological Site was conservation area protected by national and inter-national regulations. Sangiran Site, however, was an open site inhabited by people commonly working as farmer cultivating food crops and horticulture. During dry season, most farmers generally cultivate peanut. This study aims to determine the suitability of land in the Sangiran area for peanut cultivation. The study was conducted by analyzing soil samples taken from several locations at the Sangiran site: Blue Clay and Black Clay from the Pucangan formation in Pablengan Village, and Kabuh soil from around the Sangiran Triangulation Monument. The results from 3 sampling areas showed that the score of Black Clay area 2.13 mean "unhealthy soil" for peanut farming. The Blue Clay area showed the score about 1.87 also mean that "unhealthy soil" for peanut farming. Kabuh formation area showed the score about 2.97 mean that "marginal health" for peanut farming. Overall the score of Sangiran areas mean that the soil belongs to "very bad" quality for peanut cultivation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the Influence of Allocation Management, Village Policy and Community Participation on the Development of Giriwarno Village. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The technique used is primary data by means of a questionnaire distributed to respondents called a questionnaire. The data collection technique uses proportional sampling, namely the technique of determining the sample by knowing in advance the type of age or category in the population, and we will take a sample of 98 samples in this study. Based on these conclusions, Management of Village Fund Allocation has a significant positive effect on village development, while Village Policy has a significant positive effect on village development and Community Participation has a positive effect on village development. The results of further research show that Management of Village Fund Allocation, Village Policy and Community Participation jointly have a significant effect on the development of the village of Giriwarno, this is evidenced by the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Test, F Test, t Test and Determination Test with the SPSS 23 program.

Abstract

Profitability describes the company's ability to earn profits and effectiveness in managing company management. The level of profitability can affect the company's financial condition. This can be seen based on the ROA value. The type of research used is quantitative research. This research aims to determine the influence of cash turnover, inventory turnover and accounts receivable turnover on the profitability of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in 2020-2022. The data collection method used purposive sampling and obtained 35 samples. The analysis model used was multiple regression analysis with SPSS data processing tools. The results of the test show that partially cash turnover has no significant effect on profitability, inventory turnover has no significant effect on profitability, and accounts receivable turnover has a significant effect on profitability.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of tangibility, growth opportunity, and company age on company performance in sub-goods and consumer manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2018-2022. The sampling technique in this research used the purposive sampling method. The research method used is quantitative research with a sample size of 14 consumer goods and consumption companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis used is path analysis using SPSS version 23. The research results show that growth opportunity and company age influence company performance. Meanwhile, tangibility has no effect on company performance.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan sampah bonggol jagung yang selama ini belum dimanfaatkan menjadi salah satu potensi ekonomi di Desa Ledokdawan Kecamatan Geyer Kabupaten Grobogan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan juga pendapatan Desa Ledokdawan. Metode yang dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah penyampaian materi mengenai potensi sampah bonggol jagung, kriya bonggol jagung, dan manajemen pemasaran hasil produk bonggol jagung yang ada di Desa Ledokdawan. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 20 orang yang terdiri atas unsur PKK dan pemuda/pemudi Desa Ledokdawan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diharapkan mengurangi sampah bonggol jagung dan meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat, yang selanjutnya dapat menjadi pendukung potensi Desa Ledokdawan menjadi desa wisata di Kabupaten Grobongan. Kata kunci: bonggol jagung, kriya, ekonomi masyarakat, desa wisata, Ledokdawan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan latar belakang ingin membantu dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan manajemen keuangan bagi UMKM di Desa Kemasan, Sawit Boyolali. Tujuan Pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyelenggarakan pembukuan sederhana bagi UMKM Desa Kemasan, Sawit, Boyolali. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi dan praktik langsung. Target luaran yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah UMKM di Desa Kemasan mampu melaksanakan pembukuan sederhana atas kegiatan usaha yang mereka laksanakan sehingga dapat menyusun laporan keuangan sederhana dengan benar. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk pendampingan manajemen produksi industri plastik kemasan pada karyawan PT. Anugra Jaya Utama cabang Jl Tentara pelajar No. 168, Bolon, Colomadu, Karanganyar. Pendampingan ini dikhususkan kepada karyawan produksi terutama bagian potong pengebalan plastik agar bisa terpenuhi hasil sesuai target dan kualitas barang yang di hasilkan sesuai setandar konsumen. Permasalahan yang ada sebelumnya sering terjadi hasil yang tidak setandar antar sif dan sering mendapatkan komplin dari kosumen karena kualitas plastik yang di hasilkan. Metode yang di pake secara partisipatif dimana keterlibatan karyawan dalam pertemuan serta diskusi dan simulasi yang dilaksanakan menjadi sangat berarti. Target hasil dari pendampingan ini karyawan dapat bekerja semaksimal mungkin agar target tercapai tanpa adanya tekanan dan menghasilkan produk yang berkulitas sesuai keinginan kosumen, sehingga meningkatkan taraf hidup yang lebih baik.
