Abstract

Penelitian ini menjabarkan pengalaman mahasiswa yang berpartisipasi dalam program pertukaran budaya antara Universitas Darma Persada (UNSADA) dan Kanto Gakuin University (KGU) pada tahun 2025. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi manfaat, tantangan, dan hasil dari interaksi lintas budaya dalam konteks akademik. Data dikumpulkan melalui diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD), observasi partisipatif, dan catatan reflektif dari 20 mahasiswa UNSADA dan 5 mahasiswa KGU. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program ini secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi lintas budaya, kesadaran global, dan wawasan akademik mahasiswa. Tantangan seperti kecemasan budaya (culture shock) dan hambatan bahasa diidentifikasi, namun berhasil diatasi melalui dukungan institusi dan kolaborasi antar mahasiswa. Program ini berhasil menciptakan lingkungan yang inklusif, mempromosikan saling pengertian dan toleransi di antara peserta. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya program pertukaran budaya dalam pendidikan tinggi sebagai sarana untuk mempersiapkan mahasiswa menghadapi dunia yang semakin global dan menyarankan bahwa inisiatif semacam ini dapat menjadi model untuk kerja sama internasional di masa depan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Islamic social finance in alleviating poverty in Karanganyar Regency, Central Java. Therefore this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, then the subject of this research is Baznaz Karanganyar Regency, data collection techniques in this study are in the form of interviews, observation, documentation, analysis. The results of this study show that the overall performance of Baznaz Karanganyar Regency is very good in terms of work programs, zakat reception strategies, distribution of zakat infaq alms, zakat collection units and zakat collection officers. The contribution of Islamic social finance to this district baznaz philanthropic institution has been real and can be done concretely in one of the solution efforts, namely overcoming poverty alleviation. For its success and being a role model, in 2022 Baznaz Karanganyar Regency received appreciation from Bank Indonesia in Central Java as the best amil zakat institution supporting the sharia economy in the Central Java region.

Abstract

Technological advancements in classroom education are evolving at a rapid pace, offering a multitude of innovative applications, particularly for assessment purposes. This study offers a comprehensive analysis of the strengths, benefits, and limitations of the Quizizz assessment application within the context of high school economics education. Adopting a qualitative research methodology with a case study design, the study collects data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The participants in this research include economics teachers and 8th-grade and 11th-grade social science students from a private school in Indonesia who have utilized Quizizz for their economics classes. To ensure the validity of the data, both source and technique triangulation are employed. The data analysis process involves three main steps: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the Quizizz application significantly enhances student motivation and engagement in the learning process. The benefits of Quizizz include creating an enjoyable learning environment and fostering a competitive spirit among students. However, the study also identifies some challenges, such as issues with internet connectivity and the potential for academic dishonesty, which have been addressed through various measures.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level faces challenges in engaging students and improving learning outcomes. This study aims to enhance Indonesian language learning outcomes in fourth-grade students at SD Lafau Fadorozai through the implementation of the STAD (Student Teams-Achievement Divisions) cooperative learning model. The study adopts a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design involving a single class as the research subject. Data were collected through observations, learning outcome tests, and questionnaires on student response. The implementation of the STAD cooperative learning model was conducted two cycles, focusing on Indonesian language learning. The research results indicate a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes with average score after the application of the STAD model, as evidenced by an increase in The average post-test score (Mean = X) was significantly higher than the average pre-test score (Mean = Y), with a significant difference (p < 0.05) on learning outcome tests and positive student responses toward cooperative learning. The pre-test score was 63.47 and the post-test 66.53 the increase was 4.82%.  These findings suggest that the STAD cooperative learning model is an effective strategy for improving Indonesian language learning outcomes at the elementary school level. This study underscores the importance of cooperative learning models in enhancing the quality of Indonesian language education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This research has two objectives, first, to analyse the process of implementing margondang custom, and second, to analyse the educational values in margondang custom performed by the community in Gunung Malintang Village, Central Barumun District, Padang Lawas Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The informants in this research are the customary king (traditional leader), the village head, village officials, and the people of Gunung Malintang Village. The data collection techniques in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman analysis method, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research shows that the implementation of the Mandailing community margondang custom includes the stages of martahi, mangalap boru, marsattan boru, pataru itak godang, to horja godang. This procession begins with a traditional session, giving the title of king to the bridegroom, slaughtering buffalo, manortor according to customary status, patuaekkon or riding nacar, mangupa, and ends with a meal together. The margondang tradition that used to last 1-3 days is now generally only done in 1 day due to changes in people's habits. Apart from being a cultural heritage, margondang also contains educational values, namely religious, social, responsibility and moral values that are important for community life.
