Abstract

The research aims to find out the effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) on students’ descriptive writing achievement of the 2016/2017 tenth year students of SMK Swasta Melati. The problems that had been identified by the researchers are including that students were not interested in learning English especially in writing. This research uses descriptive writing in written test. The research deals with an experimental research design which seeks for the effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) strategy on the students’ writing descriptive text achievement. The populations of this research were students of the tenth grade students of SMK Swasta Melati. The sample of the research consisted of 40 students. The study was an experiment and control research, the experiment class is X-1 and the control class X-2.  The writing test was used to obtain the data on the variable. The final data then was analyzed by using technique of t-test analysis. The result shows that coefficient of tcounted (3.41) was greater than the ttable coefficient (1.68595). This means that there is any effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) on the students’ achievement in writing a descriptive text of the 2016/2017 tenth year students of SMK Swasta Melati. Therefore, the hypothesis of the study is accepted.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh metode role playing terhadap peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Islam Ciherang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperiment dengan menggunakan desain penelitian The one Grup Pretest-Posttest yang merupakan salah satu jenis dari Pre-eksperimental. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara Purposive Sampling. Data penelitian yang dilakukan ini adalah hasil tes kerja/penugasan menulis teks berita peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Islam Ciherang sebelum menggunakan metode role playing dan setelah menggunakan metode role playing. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa adanya pengaruh metode role playing terhadap kemampuan menulis berita peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Islam Ciherang, dapat dilihat dari kemampuan menulis sebelum menggunakan metode role playing (pre-test), nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 49,33 termasuk kedalam kategori rendah dan kemampuan menulis setelah menggunakan metode role playing (post-test) nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 73,21 termasuk kedalam kategori tinggi. Sedangkan dari data hasil uji-t, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis (Ha) diterima pada taraf signifikan 95 % dk= n-1 karena thitung > ttabel (26,230 > 2,042). Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat dismpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode role playing berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis berita peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Islam Ciherang.

Abstract

The intensity of systemic linkages and synergy of teachers, students, curriculum and learning materials, media, facilities and learning systems in producing optimal learning processes and outcomes in accordance with curricular demands, this is what is meant by quality of learning. The quality of learning is an important element related to achieving educational goals. From various educational development reports, it is known that the quality of mathematics learning at private vocational schools in Bogor Regency is not as expected, both for educational goals and competency demands. Therefore, research is needed to obtain information on variables related to improving the quality of learning. The aim of this research is to carry out strategies and ways to improve the quality of learning by conducting research on the influence of the variables of pedagogical competence, effectiveness of project based learning (PjBL), creativity, achievement motivation and learning quality. This research uses the path analysis method to determine the influence between the variables studied and the SITOREM method for indicator analysis to obtain strategies and ways to improve the quality of learning. Abstract

Kepala Sekolah sebagai pimpinan sekolah merupakan faktor penyumbang keberhasilan dalam upaya penguatan tata kelola, akuntabilitas, dan pencitraan publik. Keberhasilan ini tidak terlepas dari kompetensi dan kemampuan dalam tugas, peran, dan fungsinya. Pemberian pelayanan yang prima kepada seluruh warga sekolah, mengoptimalkan pemberdayaan dan pengembangan warga sekolah, fokus pada kinerja dan pertumbuhan serta dampak untuk kemajuan sekolah dan bagi masyarakat, kepemimpinan ini disebut kepemimpinan melayani. Berdasarkan riset pendahuluan, diketahui bahwa Kepala Sekolah SMK Swasta di Kabupaten Bogor belum optimal menunjukkan kepemimpinan melayani.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan cara dan strategi penguatan kepemimpinan melayani dengan menganalisis pengaruh variabel yang berpengaruh positif dan dominan terhadap kepemimpinan melayani. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan POP-SDM (Pemodelan dan Optimasi Penguatan Sumber Daya Manajemen) dengan analisis SITOREM untuk menghasilkan solusi optimal dari solusi yang ada. Implikasi penelitian adalah, jika kepemimpinan melayani ingin dikuatkan maka diperlukan pengembangan dari kecerdasan adversitas, kepribadian proaktif, team work, dan peningkatan komitmen terhadap organisasi, serta motivasi kerja.

Abstract

This study aims to find strategies and ways to increase teacher work productivity by examining the strength of the relationship between work productivity and visionary leadership. This study uses a sequential explanatory design, using correlational statistical methods. With a research sample of 252 PNS teachers in Depok City State Junior High School. Based on the results of the study that there is a significant positive relationship between Organizational Climate and Work Productivity with correlation coefficient ry2 = 0.698, so strengthening Organizational Climate can increase work productivity.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The entry of the era of globalization and modernization has made Pakkacaping 's traditional culture less in demand by the public because it is considered village music, not cool and less prestigious. This makes the cultural resilience of the people of Tinambung District in Polewali Mandar Regency weaken. For this reason, efforts are needed to preserve Pakkacaping  culture in order to support cultural resilience and maintain the culture of the Mandar tribe through traditional Pakkacaping  arts to be sustainable and enjoyed by future generations. The purpose of this study is to analyze the efforts to preserve the Pakkacaping  culture of the Mandar Tribe Community in strengthening Cultural Resilience in Tinambung District, Polewali Mandar Regency, West Sulawesi Province. The research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach with Tangnga-Tangnga Village Government informants, youth leaders, and Pakkacaping  players. Data collection through primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques include semi-structured interviews, observation and analysis of documents. Data analysis techniques are in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the Pakkacaping  culture still exists and is able to be a catalyst in strengthening the cultural resilience of the Mandar Tribe community, especially in Tinambung District, Polewali Mandar Regency. Collaboration and support (budget, equipment assistance, art festivals, and others) both from the government, youth leaders and Pakkacaping  art players are needed in popularizing Pakkacaping  culture to the wider community. The strategy is to strengthen the resilience of Pakkacaping  culture through the ability to maintain the cultural value system, adapt to changing times, integrate the community to support Pakkacaping  culture and create common goals in the community regarding Pakkacaping  culture. The support of various elements of society (government, cultural arts actors and youth leaders) and encouraging the four main functions of culture to develop so that Pakkacaping  culture can continue to survive and not be eroded by the changing times..

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital transactions in Indonesia has significantly transformed consumer behavior and the economic landscape. Despite this progress, various challenges, particularly in consumer protection, remain unresolved. Current regulations, including the Consumer Protection Law (UUPK) and the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (UU ITE), provide a foundational legal framework, yet their implementation has been inconsistent and often ineffective. This research aims to evaluate the policies governing consumer protection in digital transactions and identify strategies for improvement. A qualitative approach, utilizing SWOT analysis, was employed to examine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within the existing framework. Data were gathered from in-depth interviews with stakeholders and analysis of relevant legal and policy documents. The findings reveal significant gaps in consumer literacy, ineffective dispute resolution mechanisms, and insufficient adoption of advanced technologies like blockchain. However, the rapid growth of the digital economy and initiatives such as "Indonesia Digital 2025" present substantial opportunities for strengthening consumer protection. Cybersecurity risks and reliance on foreign platforms remain critical threats that necessitate immediate attention. This study contributes by providing actionable recommendations for policymakers, including harmonizing regulations, enhancing digital literacy programs, and promoting local technological innovation. The findings also highlight the importance of collaboration between government, industry stakeholders, and international organizations to create a robust and inclusive digital ecosystem. These insights offer valuable guidance for future policy reforms and practical implementations in the context of Indonesia’s digital economy.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS) terintegrasi di Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus telah diterapkan sejak tahun 2019. Implementasi SIMRS ini sudah banyak dirasakan manfaatnya, namun masih ditemui permasalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran keberhasilan implementasi SIMRS di rawat inap RS Santo Borromeus. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan survei melalui kuesioner. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh pegawai RS Santo Borromeus dengan kriteria inklusi adalah petugas rumah sakit yang memiliki hak akses terhadap penggunaan SIMRS dan secara langsung menggunakan SIMRS di rawat inap dalam menunjang pekerjaan sehari-hari. Kriteria eksklusi adalah petugas rumah sakit yang tidak bersedia dilibatkan dalam penelitian dan dengan masa kerja kurang dari 1 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan proportionate stratified random sampling, sebanyak 204 responden terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan cara menjelaskan destribusi prosentase dan rata-rata (mean) atas jawaban yang telah diberikan oleh responden. Hasil analisis menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan implementasi SIMRS adalah tinggi dengan skor rata-rata kualitas sistem, kualitas informasi, kualitas layanan, penggunaan sistem, kepuasan pengguna, struktur, lingkungan, dan manfaat berturut-turut adalah 3,0; 2,9; 2,9; 3,2; 2,7; 3,1; 3,2; dan 3,0. Masih diperlukan pengembangan baik pada aspek teknologi, manusia, dan organisasi guna meningkatkan kualitas layanan pasien di rawat inap RS Santo Borromeus.Kata kunci:  SIMRS; evaluasi sistem informasi; imlementasi SIMRS

Abstract

The first aim of our study is to document how the SBLS implementation process works. The second aim is to analyze teacher and student responses to implementing a School Based Lesson Study (SBLS). This research is survey research. The survey was conducted at one of the state high schools in Malang. The data collection process was carried out through observation, interviews, and the administration of questionnaires. Data collection was carried out in May 2024. Participants in this study were 33 students. They are 1 school principal, three Indonesian language subject teachers, and 29 class XI science students. A total of 16 male students and 13 female students. The students' ages range from 15 to 16 years. Observation, interviews, and student and teacher response questionnaires collected data. Data was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The survey results show that implementing Lesson Study (LS) in schools has gone well. Students no longer look awkward when observed; teachers are skilled at planning and reflecting on learning outcomes. The school principal actively participates in LS activities by implementing the OKE STAR method. The response of teachers and students to learning that uses LS activities is very good.

Abstract

This study aims to find out empirical data and find strategies and ways to increase lecturer innovation through efforts to strengthen personality, transformational leadership, organizational culture and work motivation. This study uses the path analysis method that is used to determine the direct and indirect effect between variables, then followed by SITOREM analysis to analyze the indicators of research variables so that efforts will be made to increase lecturer innovation through strengthening personality, leadership transformational, organizational culture and work motivation. The population of this study was a lecturer at the Jakarta State Polytechnic, totaling 398 lecturers with a number of research samples of 200 lecturers taken with random sampling techniques using the Slovin formula. The results of the path analysis shows that there is a significant positive direct effect of personality (X1) on lecturer innovation (Y) with βy1 = 0.205, there is a significant positive direct effect of transformational leadership (X2) on lecturer innovation (Y) with βy2 = 0.245, there is a significant positive direct of organizational culture (X3) on lecturer innovation (Y) with βy3 = 0.211, there is a significant positive direct effect of work motivation (X4) on lecturer innovation (Y) with βy4 = 0.344. There is a significant positive direct of personality (X1) on work motivation (X4) with βy41 = 0.239, there is a significant positive direct of transformational leadership (X2) on work motivation (X4) with βy42 = 0.301, there is a significant positive direct effect of organizational culture ( X3) on work motivation (X4) with βy43 = 0.394. There is a significant positive indirect effect of personality (X1) on lecturer innovation (Y) through work motivation (X4) with βxy1 = 0.049, there is a significant positive indirect effect of transformational leadership (X2) on lecturer innovation (Y) through work motivation (X4) With βxy2 = 0.074, there is a significant positive indirect effect of organizational culture (X3) on lecturer innovation (Y) through work motivation (X4) with βxy3 = 0.083. And based on the SITOREM analysis, several efforts were made to increase lecturer innovation by improving indicators, are: 1) product development; 2) use of new models; 3) product improvement; 4) products produced; 5) communication with customers; 6) model improvement and 7) relationships with customers. Efforts to strengthen personality by improving indicators, are: 1) openness; 2) awareness; and 3) neuroticism, and maintaining or developing good indicators, are: 1) agreeableness and 2) extraversion. Efforts to strengthen transformational leadership by improving indicators, are: 1) exemplary; 2) inspiration; and 3) innovative behavior; and maintaining or developing good indicators, are: 1) creation; 2) trusted behavior; and 3) loyalty. Efforts to strengthen organizational culture by maintaining or developing good indicators, are: 1) the atmosphere felt by members in the life of the organization, 2) the most important (dominant) values that members, 4) patterns of organizational behavior, and 5) norms and standards of behavior at work; And efforts to strengthen work motivation by improving indicators, are: 1) achievement; 2) meeting affiliate needs; 3) work completion; and 4) participation, and maintaining or developing good indicators, namely; 1) morale; 2) opportunities and 3) utilization of expertise.
