Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Wordwall as a learning medium to improve the learning motivation of fourth-grade students in the Arabic language subject at MI Darus Sa’adah. Based on field data, it was found that students faced difficulties in learning Arabic because it is a foreign language, which consequently led to low motivation and enthusiasm for learning. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a focus on the theme of Indonesian cultural diversity, delivered through interactive activities using Wordwall.The results revealed that the use of Wordwall significantly influenced students’ engagement and enthusiasm. Before the implementation, only six students actively participated in the learning process; after using Wordwall, 14 students showed increased motivation and enthusiasm for learning. Students’ level of motivation improved, as evidenced by their enthusiasm during the learning activities and their mastery of the material at the end of the lesson.This study highlights two crucial stages in the implementation process: (1) the planning stage, which includes analyzing students’ needs and designing appropriate learning media for Arabic lessons, and (2) the classroom implementation stage, where the game-based and interactive features of Wordwall encouraged active participation and fostered a positive learning environment. These findings indicate that Wordwall is an effective and feasible learning medium to enhance students’ motivation in learning Arabic at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level.

Abstract

Listening is a daily activity that will be carried out by humans. Listening is soimportant for humans because humans cannot carry out verbal communicationactivities if they do not carry out listening activities. This research was motivated byproblems in listening skills in class II elementary school students. This research is aqualitative descriptive study conducted in an elementary school in Surakarta, Central Javawith a total of 12 students as subjects. This study aims to determine the ability tolisten to short stories, the factors that cause difficulties in listening to short stories,and find out the solutions to improve the ability to listen to short stories in class IIelementary school students. The instruments used in this study were tests onstudents, student interviews, and interviews with class II teachers. The results ofthis study indicate that the ability to listen to short stories for grade II elementaryschool students varies. Judging from the results of the study of 12 students, 3students were categorized as good, 7 students were categorized as sufficient, and2 students were categorized as lacking. Factors that influence the ability to listen tostories are psychological factors, environmental factors, and motivational factors.Efforts that can be made to improve the ability to listen to students' stories are usinganimated films as learning media, doing ice breaking before learning begins, andarranging classrooms in such a way as to create a conducive classroom, as well asallowing students to get equal opportunities to listen and be listened to.Keywords: Listening ability, children's literature, elementary school

Abstract

Synsepalum dulcificum leaves are known to contain bioactive compounds, especially flavonoids, which have important biological activities, including inhibition of aldose reductase, an enzyme involved in diabetes complications. This study aims to explore the potential of flavonoids from Synsepalum dulcificum leaves as antioxidants and inhibitors of the aldose reductase enzyme. The methods used in this study include in-vitro tests with the DPPH method to evaluate antioxidant activity and molecular docking to predict the interaction between flavonoids and the aldose reductase enzyme. Leaf extracts were isolated using the maceration method with 70% ethanol, and active compounds were identified through LC-MS analysis. Molecular docking tests were performed using PyRx, PyMol, and BIOVIA: Discovery Studio Visualizer software. The results showed that Synsepalum dulcificum leaf extract had very strong antioxidant activity with an IC50 value of 11.4108 μg/mL. Molecular docking results revealed that the compounds morin and pinostrobin had a stronger binding affinity to aldose reductase than the standard ligand sorbinyl. In conclusion, flavonoids from Synsepalum dulcificum leaves have great potential as antioxidant agents and aldose reductase inhibitors, which can be further developed as natural therapeutic candidates to prevent diabetic complications.

Abstract

Street children are children who spend most of their time on the streets to earn a living to meet their daily needs. This happens due to the lack of economy of both parents so they are unable to meet their children's needs. They do this to help their family or parents financially, so they can survive. Activities carried out by street children in Tangerang City are a complex problem, considering that there are still many street children with activities such as busking, rocking/cleaning car windows, and so on. The main issues in this research are empowering the handling of street children in Tangerang City and the Role of the Tangerang City Social Service in Implementing Regional Regulation No. 5 of 2012 concerning the Development of Street Children, Homeless, Beggars and Buskers. The type of research is empirical juridical, descriptive analysis in nature, so that the data obtained is analyzed qualitatively. The theoretical basis refers to Article 28B paragraph (2) of the 1945 Constitution, Article 4 in conjunction with Article 76I of the Child Protection Act, Article 1 Paragraph (11) of Tangerang City Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2012 concerning the Development of Street Children. The results of the study concluded that the empowerment of street children in the city of Tangerang has been carried out with several programs and activities that are expected to overcome the social problems of street children by increasing the abilities of these children through education, skills training and moral education, all of which are done to be able to get their rights. as a child, and the role of the social service has been trying to change the attitude and lifestyle of street children who are fostered through the halfway house program, so that later these children can be independent and no longer take to the streets. Suggestions on the need to provide interesting programs to be followed so that they become places to play and educate to be followed, as well as the need for adequate facilities and infrastructure. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami perjuangan organisasi-organisasi petani anggota La Via Campesina di Ekudor sehingga berhasil mengintegrasikan agenda kedaulatan pangan ke dalam Konstitusi Ekuador 2008. Kerangka teoritis yang digunakan adalah gerakan sosial dengan berfokus pada elemen struktur mobilisasi untuk memahami kemunculan dan perkembangan sebuah gerakan sosial dalam memperjuangkan agenda-agenda politiknya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Sementara teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi dokumentasi dengan teknik analisis data sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa keberhasilan tersebut ditopang oleh sejumlah faktor, yakni (a) peran LVC dalam mendesiminasi gagasan kedaulatan pangan di tingkat global, yang pada gilirannya menjadi point of reference bagi perjuangan organisasi anggota di tingkat nasional, (b) kapasitas organisasi dalam memobilisasi sumberdaya jaringan, dan (c) mobilisasi dan partisipasi langsung dalam proses legal drafting konstitusi dengan memanfaatkan terbukanya kesempatan politik di bawah pemerintahan Rafael Correa.

Abstract

Boneka tangan karena ukurannya lebih besar dari boneka jari dan bisa dimasukkan ke tangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian peneliti berkesimpulan Peran guru mata pelajaran bahasa inggris dalam membuat media boneka tangan sangat penting. Boneka tangan digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran sehingga bisa memotivasi siswa untuk belajar bahasa Inggris. langkah-langkah yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam mengajar bahasa Inggris dengan menggunakan media boneka tangan adalah dengan story telling misalnya tema binatang. tema ini siswa bisa mengenal ciri-ciri binatang sesuai dengan boneka tangan yang ada. Diawal pembelajaran, guru memberi contoh cara mempraktekan secara langsung dan bercerita menggunakan bahasa Inggris. Faktor pendukung adalah peran aktif guru. Selain tugas guru sebagai pengajar, guru harus bisa menjadi fasilitator. Faktor penghambat siswa yang kurang aktif dalam berkomunikasi. Sedangkan faktor penghambat dalam implementasi penggunaan boneka tangan pada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris mengakibatkan siswa susah dalam berkomunikasi.

Abstract

The involvement of women in several village development programs which is still very low when compared to the quantity of men's involvement in government and village development programs is the background of this research. The research was conducted in Pulau Semambu Village, Ogan Ilir. The formulation of the research problem is how the role of the PKK organization in village development is viewed from a structuring perspective. The purpose of this research is to see the role of the PKK organization in village development. The method used is Descriptive Qualitative with data analysis techniques with Miles and Huberman's interactive model and data validation with triangulation. The results showed that the role of the Pulau Semambu Village PKK organization had a positive impact on the development program, but not all of the main PKK programs had gone well. There are still obstacles in managing the PKK organization, especially human resources, infrastructure, and budget issues. The government needs to provide support to PKK managers at every level both materially and immaterially.

Abstract

High levels of free radicals in diabetic wounds often cause chronic inflammation. Nigella sativa and Trigonella foenum-graecum seed extracts are rich in antioxidants and have anti-inflammatory effects. Trigonella foenum-graecum seed extracts can also accelerate the reepithelialization process in wound healing. This study aimed to determine the combination of ethanol extract of Nigella sativa and Trigonella foenum-graecum seeds on wound length and the number of neutrophils, macrophages, fibroblasts, and collagen density in the incision wound of diabetic mice induced by streptozotocin. T. This study used three types of controls, namely Normal (Normal mice,  HPMC 3%),  DM (Diabetic mice, HPMC 3%), and Iodine (Diabetic mice, Povidone Iodine 10%). Topical treatment with 70% ethanol extract ointment combined with Nigella sativa and Trigonella foenum-graecum in various variations, namely N (20%:0%), T (0%:10%), NT (10%:5%), Observations of the wound healing process were carried out on 3rd, 7th and 14th day. Data were analyzed using the One Way ANOVA and Duncan Multiple Range Test. The study's results by observing the morphology of the wound length on day 7th day showed that the combination treatment of extracts of Nigella sativa and Trigonella foenum-graecum resulted in the shortest wound, which was significantly different from the wound in untreated diabetic mice. In addition, diabetic wounds without treatment showed infection, and on the contrary, the infection did not occur in wounds treated with a combination of extracts of Nigella sativa and Trigonella foenum-graecum. The results of wound histology observations showed that the combination treatment of extracts of Nigella sativa and Trigonella foenum-graecum showed a decrease in inflammation which was indicated by a significant decrease in the number of neutrophil cells, macrophages, and accelerated reepithelialization of wound healing as indicated by a significant increase in the number of fibroblasts and collagen density since the third day of treatment.

Abstract

Tingkat keberhasilan mutlak Direktorat Jenderal Pajak dalam memenangkan sengketa pajak atas SKP yang diterbitkan sangat rendah, hanya 27,73% dari total 65.092 kasus dalam periode 2019-2023. Hal ini mengindikasikan adanya masalah serius dalam kualitas SKP yang merupakan hasil tindakan pemeriksaan terhadap Wajib Pajak. Beberapa penelitian sebelumnya menyatakan bahwa hal ini disebabkan oleh rendahnya kualitas SKP, namun sayangnya faktor penyebabnya belum dilakukan analisis. Sementara itu, beberapa ahli hukum mengatakan bahwa pemahaman dan implementasi logika hukum sangat berpengaruh pada kualitas putusan hakim. Selanjutnya, mengingat bahwa SKP juga merupakan putusan hukum, dilakukan penelitian empiris yuridis mengenai tingkat pemahaman dan implementasi logika hukum pemeriksa pajak di KPP Perusahaan Masuk Bursa. Hasilnya adalah secara umum, pemeriksa memiliki pemahaman yang cukup baik tentang logika hukum. Namun, masih terdapat ruang untuk peningkatan, terutama dalam hal penerapan logika hukum pada kasus-kasus yang kompleks. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan berbagai upaya, seperti meningkatkan pelatihan, memberikan akses terhadap sumber daya hukum yang lebih baik, serta mendorong kolaborasi antara pemeriksa pajak dengan ahli hukum. .
