Abstract

Indonesia is a rich country in local wisdom, but it is starting to fade along with technological developments. pigeons racing on Madura island is an example of local wisdom that can be used as a source of new knowledge in understanding physics concepts in social life. Pigeon racing is a big competition that is held after the rice harvest season arrives. This research aims to analyze the physics concepts contained in pigeon racing. This research was conducted using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. data collection was obtained by technically analyzing the data subjectively using interview, observation and literature study methods. Based on data analysis and literature studies, it was found that in pigeon racing, there are physics concepts related to motion and displacement. At a rapid rate, the calculation results show, that the speed of an object can increase uniformly or decrease uniformly. An object is said to be moving in a straight line and changing uniformly to accelerate if the object's speed increases uniformly. Meanwhile, an object is said to be moving in a straight line and changes evenly and is slowed down if the object's speed decreases uniformly. The change in speed per unit time is called acceleration. Then, The results of this research can be used as a contextual learning resource in high school physics subjects about motion.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations made, information was obtained that teachers were less able to carry out a learning process that was in accordance with the demands of current developments in accordance with curriculum progress. Education plays a role not only as a means of transferring knowledge, but more broadly as an acculturator. The importance of innovation in learning in schools emphasizes the need for a responsive approach to local cultural riches and values. The local wisdom approach emerges as a promising paradigm, creating space for innovation to have a positive impact on learning activities. The lack of empowerment of local wisdom in teaching and learning activities by teachers in schools can cause a separation between curriculum content and students' daily lives. This can result in low student interest and motivation to learn. The aim of this community service activity is to offer innovative learning solutions through a local wisdom approach in the context of learning activities. This activity is carried out by providing socialization and assistance to physics teachers in a creative way by integrating local wisdom culture with science, so that it can have a positive impact on the learning process at school. It is hoped that innovative learning based on local wisdom will create an interesting learning environment and support children's development by enriching their experience of local wisdom values and traditions

Abstract

Mostly in rural areas in developing countries, biomass and fossil fuels are used for cooking. These fuels have negative impacts on the environment and human health. One solution to the problem is cooking using solar-powered stoves as a clean and environmentally friendly alternative energy. In this research, a literature study was conducted related to solar cookers which are divided into several types based on their geometric shape, namely box, parabolic, tube, and panel types. This research examines the performance of solar cookers, namely solar cooker efficiency (η%). In this literature study, the development of stoves from 2012 to 2023 has been reviewed and focused on. The sub-topics discussed revolve around the details of the geometry shape of the solar cooker on the performance of the solar cooker on the parameter of heat efficiency generated. The main conclusion of this review is that box-type solar cookers are more researched than other types of solar cookers, indicating that box-type solar cookers are more in demand and more economical in the manufacturing process. The highest average heat efficiency (η%) is produced by the tube-type solar cooker and the lowest is produced by the parabolic-type solar cooker. Other parameters also affect the efficiency of solar cookers, namely the intensity of solar radiation, the type of absorber/heat storage material, the use of reflectors with the right position (zenith and azimuth angles), the use of a tight cover pan (vacuum tube) for certain types of solar cookers and the length of cooking time.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pada penggunaan model problem based learning disertai scaffolding berbantuan media komik fisika terhadap penguasaan konsep fisika siswa SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Eksperimental dengan desain Pretest-Postest Control Grup Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa masing-masing 20 orang di MA Al-Islamiyah 1 Sumber Batu Pamekasan. Dari perolehan nilai pretest dan posttest dilakukan uji prasyarat, analisis uji hipotesis perhitungannya menggunakan SPSS versi 24.0. Dari hasil uji hipotesis penguasaan konsep siswa diketahui signifikansi 0,005 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima. Adapun hasil uji N-Gain menunjukkan nilai pada kelas eksperimen yaitu 0,7149 dengan kategori tinggi. Dari analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan model Problem Based Learning Disertai Scaffolding Berbantuan Media Komik Fisika Terhadap Penguasaan Konsep Siswa Fisika SMA lebih efektif dengan nilai effect size sebesar 0,950 dengan kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar keefektivan penerapan media E-Magazine berbasis inquiry terbimbing dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Desain Penelitian ini menggunakan Nonequivalent Control Grup Desain. dengan melibatkan dua kelompok, yakni kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen. kelompok kontrol merupakan kelas yang hanya menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing saja, sedangkan kelompok eksperimen merupakan kelas yang menggunakan media e-magazine berbasisi inkuiri terbimbing. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan tes berupa 10 soal pilihan ganda. Analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen mempunyai mean pretest sebesar 27,50 dengan standar deviasi 10, sedangkan kelompok kontrol memiliki mean pretest sebesar 37,50 dengan standar deviasi 16,533. Uji normalitas (Shapiro-Wilk) menegaskan bahwa data pretest dan postest dari kedua kelompok mengikuti distribusi normal (p > 0,05). Uji homogenitas varians Levene menunjukkan bahwa varians data pretest dan posttest terdistribusi secara homogen (p > 0,05) yang mengindikasikan memenuhi asumsi uji statistik parametrik. Uji t sampel independen menunjukkan adanya perbedaan skor postest yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol (p = 0,000). Nilai keefektifan penggunaan media pada hasil belajar siswa diperoleh nilai (1.8) dengan kategori cukup tinggi. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media e-magazine berbasis inkuiri terbimbing efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika.

Abstract

Kecanggihan teknologi telah membawa perubahan signifikan di berbagai bidang, terutama dalam lingkungan dan kesehatan. Radioaktivitas yang merupakan salah satu metode yang banyak digunakan dalam kemajuan teknologi ini, memiliki aplikasi luas terutama dalam  bidang kedokteran dan industri. Meskipun memiliki manfaat signifikan, radioaktivitas juga membawa dampak negatif yang signifikan terhadap lingkungan dan kesehatan manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperjelas dan menganalisis dampak radioaktivitas pada lingkungan dan kesehatan manusia yang sangat besar. Fokus analisisnya adalah terhadap gas-gas polutan yang dapat menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan serta pengaruh unsur radioaktif alam dan radiasi jika bereaksi pada tubuh manusia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka yang dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber seperti jurnal, buku, dan internet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa radioaktivitas dapat menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan, termasuk polusi udara tanah dan air, serta berdampak kesehatan seperti kanker paru-paru akibat paparan radon dan gangguan kesehatan lainnya. Radioaktivitas juga berpotensi menyebabkan kerusakan genetik pada flora dan fauna. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya regulasi dan upaya mitigasi seperti pengembangan teknologi solidifikasi/stabilisasi yang efektif dan pemantauan terus-menerus untuk meminimalkan dampak negatif radioaktivitas serta perlunya peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai risiko yang ditimbulkan.

Abstract

Scientific creativity is an important thing that every individual must have to answer the challenges of the 21st century. However, in reality, the results of physics research show that the science abilities of Indonesian students are still relatively low, especially in the fields of creativity and innovation. This study aims to produce project-based student worksheet (LKPD) integrated with valid and reliable PhET. This study uses the research and development (RD) method with a 4D development model, which consists of four stages, namely definition, design, development, and dissemination. The instruments in the study used to collect data were validation sheets and student response questionnaire sheets. The results showed that the LKPD integration of PhET obtained an average validity score of 3.95 and a reliability level of 96.25%, including in the very valid and reliable category. The results of the student response questionnaire showed that 93% responded in the very positive category. The conclusion is that this LKPD integration of PhET is proven to be valid and reliable so that it can be an effective learning material for learning physics on global warming and climate change. This study contributes to the development of innovative and relevant learning media to improve the quality of students' physics learning. The limitations of this study have limitations on the application of the 4D model, which only covers the development and Validation stages. Therefore, the implementation of LKPD in the field is needed to improve the scientific creativity of high school students

Abstract

Integrasi ilmu pengetahuan (sains) dan agama Islam memiliki sudut pandang yang berbeda dari semua sisi. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya peningkatan keselarasan antara keduanya yang harus dipertajam lagi agar tidak terjadi dikotomi pemamahan, karena keduanya memiliki peran penting dalam kehidupan manusia dan kemajuan bangsa. agama merupakan pedoman serta petunjuk melalui aturan di dalam kitab suci. Dalam ilmu pengetahuan (sains) yang berorientasi pada kegiatan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi hasil belajar fisika dan ilmu fiqih terhadap kemampuan pengintegrasian agama dan sains. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 40 siswa kelas X IPA-A yang sudah menerima materi ibadah haji pada mata pelajaran ilmu fiqih dan materi gerak lurus beraturan pada mata pelajaran fisika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  ­­>  sehingga  diterima dan  ditolak. Jadi terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan hasil belajar fisika dan ilmu fiqih terhadap kemampuan pengintegrasian agama dan sains dengan nilai rata-rata integrasi mencapai nilai 87,11. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa nilai yang diperoleh sudah memenuhi syarat ketuntasan minimal.

Abstract

Learning media is one of the instruments which is used to support the achievement of learning process. Now, the use of learning media based on technology is widely used at various levels of education based on school needs. One of the learning media used in this study is Wix platform. The purpose of this study was to describe and measure the effectiveness and practicality of using the web-based learning media with Wix platform in vocational high schools. This type of research is research and development employing Borg and Gall development model. The research subjects consisted of media experts, material experts, and sample class consist of 19 students of X class at SMKN 1 Pakong. In this study, the effectiveness of learning media is measured by students’ learning outcomes before and after using learning media. The media practicality questionnaire for teachers was used to collect data as teacher responses after testing the media product developed in the form of  web with Wix platform. The results of the research show that the practicality percentage of Wix platform as physics learning media was 95.7% which is categorized as "Very practical". In addition, the effectiveness of Wix platform as learning media gained a percentage of 0.6% or in the "effective" category. Therefore, it can be concluded that learning media based on Web with Wix platform is very practical and effective in physics learning activities.
