Abstract

Desa Pengengat kecamatan Pujut merupakan desa tempat beradanya TPA daerah Lombok Tengah. Dengan adanya TPA ini menjadikan sampah merupakan salah satu masalah yang terdapat di desa Pengengat. Sampah terdiri dari sampah organik dan anorganik, sampah anorganik merupakan sampah yang susah terurai sehingga membutuhkan mengelolaan lebih lanjut untuk mengurangi sampah tersebut. Salah satu pengolahan sampah yang dilakukan yaitu dengan metode ecobrick. Pembuatan ecobrick dapat memanfaatkan sampah plastik yang susah terurai menjadi barang yang dapat dimanfaatkan. Edukasi dan sosialisasi dilakukan di warga desa Pengengat mengenai pembuatan ecobrick. Tujuan mengadakan edukasi dan sosialisasi tentang ecobrick ini, agar amsyarakat dapat mengelola sampah plastik menjadi suatu barang yang dapat dimanfaatkan sehari-hari utnuk mengurangi sampah. Edukasi dan sosialisasi dilakukan di setiap dusun dan sekolah-sekolah yang ada di wilayah desa Pengengat, sehingga diharapkan semua lapisan masyarakat mendapatkan edukasi ini. Demonstrasi pembuatan ecobrick juga dilakukan agar masyarakat dapat mengetahui dan mencoba langsung pembuatan ecorick. Dengan adanya edukasi ini diharapkan warga setempat melanjutkan pembuatan ecobrick untuk meningkatkan kreaktifitas warga dan daya tarik desa Pengengat ini sendiri.

Abstract

PKM Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pemberdayaan lansia melalui Language Therapy Model (LTM) untuk meningkatkan fungsi kognitif dan kualitas hidup lansia. Metode pelaksanaan program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu (1) persiapan, (2) pelaksanaan pelatihan menggunakan metode Language Therapy Model (LTM), dan (3) evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa metode Language Therapy Model (LTM) dapat meningkatkan fungsi kognitif lansia secara signifikan sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia. Program ini direkomendasikan untuk dijadikan sebagai bentuk pemberdayaan lansia di Sentra Gau Mabaji Kabupaten Gowa.

Abstract

This study investigated the influence of slaughter age and sex on carcass dimensions in KUB chickens. A Randomized Block Design with a 2 x 4 factorial layout was used, incorporating two variables: sex (male and female) and slaughter age (4, 6, 8, and 10 weeks). Each treatment group included 10 chickens, evenly divided between males and females. The parameters measured included the length and width of the upper and lower thigh, wing length, and the length and width of the breast and back. The results showed that slaughter age had a significant effect (P<0.05) on all measured traits, including thigh and wing sizes, breast dimensions, and the back length and width. Sex also had a significant influence on upper thigh dimensions, breast length, and back size. Additionally, there was a significant interaction between sex and slaughter age for upper thigh size, wing length, and breast dimensions (P<0.05). The most substantial carcass measurements were observed in chickens slaughtered at 10 weeks of age. Male KUB chickens had carcass dimension was higher than the females.

Abstract

Sarcotheca celebica is an endemic Sulawesi plant capable of growing in ultramafic and calcareous soils. The anatomical structure of its vegetative organs plays a role in adaptation to extreme environments. This study aimed to compare the anatomy of leaves, stems and roots of S. celebica in both soil types. Microscopic preparations of leaves, stems and roots were made with the Free Hand Section method, documented using Optilab Viewer 2.2, and measured with Image Raster 3. Statistical analysis was conducted with the T-test. The results showed anatomical variations in response to soil conditions. S. celebica plants in calcareous soil had longer and wider stomata, but with lower density than those in ultramafic soils. In addition, leaf and cuticle thickness were higher in S. celebica plants on calcareous soils. However, the peridemis/floem ratio in stems and peridermis/endodermis in roots did not show significant differences. Overall, S. celebica leaves were more responsive to soil differences than stems and roots. This study is important for understanding the mechanisms of plant adaptation to extreme soil conditions and the implications for the sustainability of the species in its natural habitat.

Abstract

Meatballs are processed meat products that very popular in Indonesia. Making meatballs is not just using animal material only, but also can be used plant materials such as oyster mushrooms. The meatballs can be made in various forms, such as a round shape or a box shape. This study aims to determine the nutrient content (moisture, ash, fat, protein, and carbohydrates) in several formula meatballs box of oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) and find the best formula on the meatballs box oyster mushrooms, the nutrients (fat, protein, and carbohydrates), as well as the ash and moisture content. The study was designed using completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of six treatments and two replications. Parameters measured were as hedonic organoleptic include color, aroma, flavor and texture, using 15 panelists and nutrient analysis includes the levels of fat, protein, carbohydrate, ash content and water content. The results showed that the formulation of meatballs box, panelists preferred the formula II from another formula with a value of 3.06 based on color, aroma, flavor, and texture. The results of nutritional analysis were fat content of 0.77, protein content of 16:28 value, carbohydrate content of 31.4, ash content of 1:46 and water content of 9.44.

Abstract

This research refers to Regional Regulation No. 8 of 2018 of Tanjungpinang City, Chapter IV concerning Management of Tourism Objects article 7 (seven) paragraph 1 (one) which reads that those responsible for managing Penyengat Island cultural tourism are carried out by the Regional Government. The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of the Tanjungpinang City Culture and Tourism Office in developing tourism objects on Penyengat Island. The research method used is Descriptive Qualitative with a case study approach to determine the results in the study, with data collection techniques by observation, interview and documentation. The results showed that the Tanjungpinang City Culture and Tourism Office in implementing the Penyengat Island management policy was assisted by the Penyengat Island community in the form of a Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS) which helped the Tanjungpinang City Culture and Tourism Office in implementing the Penyengat Island management policy. The conclusion of this research is that the policy evaluation process carried out by the Tanjungpinang City Culture and Tourism Office is to revitalize several parts and develop tourism on Penyengat Island with a religious and Malay cultural base. Thus, Penyengat Island is able to be visited by tourists with the intention and purpose of knowing the historical heritage of the phallus kingdom.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the potential of liquid organic waste formula made from Bacillus sp to suppress the severity of vascular streak dieback (VSD) disease in cocoa plants.  The research was conducted on smallholder cocoa plantations in Patimbe Village, Palolo Subdistrict, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi.  The research was arranged in a non-factorial Randomised Group Design (RAK) with 5 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments consisted of control (P0=no formula); coconut water + Bacillus sp (P1); rice washing water + Bacillus sp (P2); tofu water + Bacillus sp (P3); and a combination of coconut water, rice washing water, and tofu water + Bacillus sp (P4). Each experimental unit consisted of 10 cocoa plants infected with VSD disease.  The liquid organic waste formula was applied using the root infusion technique in months 1 and 3 at a dose of 250 ml/root. Observations of disease symptoms, disease development, disease severity, and disease suppression efficacy were conducted monthly. The results showed that the combination of organic waste of coconut water, tofu water, and rice washing water with Bacillus sp active ingredient was more effective in suppressing VSD disease than liquid organic waste alone with an effectiveness rate of 81.7%.

Abstract

Pengambilan keputusan merupakan salah satu penyebab kematian dalam perawatan kesehatan. Menurut data institusi kesehatan dunia sebanyak 98.000 pasien meninggal akibat pengambilan keputusan yang salah yang berdampak pada tindakan kegawatdaruratan yang diberikan kepada pasien. Perawat IGD merupakan garda terdepan dalam penanganan pasien gawat darurat dan mewajibkan perawat untuk membuat keputusan triase. Dalam pengambilan keputusan triase, perawat memiliki tingkat pengalaman kerja yang berbeda-beda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengalaman kerja dengan pengambilan keputusan triase pada perawat di Instalasi Gawat Darurat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel berjumlah 29 responden diambil dengan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuisioner. Penelitian ini dilakukan di RSUD Syekh Yusuf Kabupaten Gowa pada bulan Juli 2024. Hasil penelitian diuji menggunakan uji korelasi. Diperoleh hasil p value sebesar 0,553 (p>0.05) yang menguatkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan pengalaman kerja dengan pengambilan keputusan triase dalam penanganan kasus kegawatdaruratan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara pengalaman kerja dengan pengambilan keputusan triase pada perawat IGD di RSUD Syekh Yusuf Kata kunci : Triase, Pengalaman Kerja , Pengambilan Keputusan

Abstract

Cross-cultural pragmatics focuses on how differences in values, norms, and communication habits influence the use of politeness strategies in interactions between speakers from different cultures. These variations in language often lead to misunderstandings when the communication strategies used do not match the expectations of other cultures. This mismatch is evident in speech acts such as refusal, criticism, and responses to praise, which are interpreted differently by each culture. The success of cross-cultural communication greatly depends on the ability to understand the socio-cultural context, adjust speech style, and maintain harmony through appropriate politeness strategies. Cross-cultural pragmatic competence is key to creating effective, mutually respectful, and conflict-free interactions in intercultural encounters.
