Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of argumentation skills of the students of SMPN 24 Gresik in Dungus Village, Cerme District, Gresik Regency on environmental material. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study were all students for the 2021/2022 academic year. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The research sample used was 32 students. Data was collected using a 10-point essay test, in which each number contained three assessment indicators, namely, evidence and scientific reasons. The results of the research are: 1) The argumentation ability of students on environmental material in class VII is overall good with an average percentage of 81.2%. 2) Identification of the ability to argue students in each aspect of the indicator can be seen that the ability of students to claim is quite good, namely with a value of 89%, in the aspect of the ability to give good answers, namely with a percentage of 78%, while in the aspect of the ability to make scientific reasons it is classified as good with a value percentage 76%

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada siswa dan faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya miskonsepsi siswa pada konsep sistem pencernaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian mix method dan dilakukan di MTs Walisongo Sugihwaras dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VIII. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling yang melibatkan 35 siswa dari kelas VIII A. Pengumpulan data kuantitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen four tier test dan data kualitatif menggunakan instrumen wawancara. Teknik analisis data: (1) data kuantitatif dengan persentase, (2) data kualitatif dengan Miles and Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 14% siswa paham konsep, 45% siswa mengalami miskonsepsi, 12% kesalahan (error), dan 29% siswa tidak paham konsep. Miskonsepsi terjadi karena (1) minat belajar siswa rendah, (2) kemampuan kognitif siswa rendah, (3), sumber belajar terbatas, (4) media pembelajaran kurang mendukung, (5) proses pembelajaran tidak kondusif.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran CBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMPN 2 Rejoso, Nganjuk pada materi Ekologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu pretest posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu semua siswa kelas VII Tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling jenis purposive sampling yang terdiri dari kelas VII B sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan masing-masing sebanyak 25 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan, tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif, dan angket respons siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kelas eksperimen setelah penerapan model pembelajaran CBL sebanyak 72% mengalami peningkatan dengan kriteria tinggi dan 28% mengalami peningkatan kriteria sedang. Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dengan nilai α 0,05, rata-rata persentase observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 98,99% dengan kriteria sangat baik, dan hasil respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran sebesar 72,33% termasuk dalam kriteria baik.

Abstract

The development research aims to determine the feasibility of the media, student responses, and produce a product in the form of a science e-module assisted by Flip PDF Professional on the concept of water pollution. We used the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The results showed that the science e-module media assisted by Flip PDF Professional on the water pollution concept developed was suitable for students to use. The feasibility of the IPA e-module media can be seen from the results of the media expert's feasibility test of 0.84 with a very valid category, the material expert's feasibility test of 0.81 with a very valid category, readability questionnaire of 82.25% with a very good category on large-scale trial subjects, and the results of student response questionnaires 84.63% with a very good category on large-scale trial subjects. We concluded that the science e-module media assisted by Flip PDF Professional on the concept of water pollution is suitable for use for seventh grade junior high school students.

Abstract

Miniature Puzzle 3 Dimensions (MP3D) is one form of learning media presentation that has been systematically assembled in the form of a miniature collaborated with puzzles so that learning on solar system material grade VII can be conveyed properly and clearly. The purpose of this study was to produce MP3D media and determine the level of feasibility and student response to MP3D media. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE development model. The population in this study were seventh grade students of SMPN 3 Kamal with samples of VII-B and VII-D classes. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were media expert validation sheets, science teachers and student response questionnaires. The results showed that: 1) The results of the validity of the media aspect amounted to 94.37% and the reliability value of 97.38% with a very valid and very reliable category. 2) Student responses to MP3D media in 3 trial groups, obtained a percentage value of 88.55% in individual trials of 2 students, 88.81% in small group trials of 8 students and 91.27% in large group trials of 32 students, the three trials had a very good category. We concluded that the using of MP3D media is feasible to use in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan respon siswa terhadap e-booklet tema musik ul-daul Madura. Materi yang digunakan pada media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah materi getaran dan gelombang kelas VIII SMPN/MTsN. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian RnD dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, design, development, implement, evaluation. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII B mengunakan teknik sampling pretest dan posstest. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Hasil rata-rata validasi ahli media memperoleh nilai sebesar 80% dengan kriteria sangat valid, sedangkan rata-rata ahli materi memperoleh nilai sebesar 95% dengan kriteria sangat valid (2) Hasil rata-rata N-Gain kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebesar 0,7 dengan kriteria tinggi. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran e-booklet tema musik ul-daul Madura layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan dapat meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa. (3) Hasil rata-rata penilaian respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran e-booklet tema musik sebesar 81% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media e-booklet tema Musik ul-daul Madura dapat meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (RnD). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa terhadap media pembelajaran e-module berbasis kontekstual pada materi ekologi untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kreatif menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Sampel penelitian ialah sampling jenuh dan menggunakan desain penelitian One shot. Instrumen uji coba meliputi validasi media, materi, tes berpikir kreatif, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) e-module berbasis kontekstual telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan kelayakan dengan kategori sangat tinggi, 2) nilai rata-rata hasil kemampuan berpikir kreatif sebesar 55,79 dengan kategori cukup kreatif. Oleh karena itu, media pembelajaran e-module berbasis kontekstual layak digunakan dalam kegiatam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Learning will be more meaningful when it is linked to local wisdom and not just focused on the teacher to motivate students. One of the potential local wisdoms on Madura Island is Goa Petapa Beach, which deserves to be an inspiration for the development of the learning process in the form of a science magazine. This study aims to determine the feasibility, student-learning motivation, and student response to the science magazine using the classification of living things based on the ADDIE developmental model. The research sample consisted of students of Class VII-B, SMPN 1, Tanjung Bumi. The research instruments used include media validation, materials, a motivation questionnaire, and a student response questionnaire. The results showed averages: (1) media expert validation of 1.00 (very high category); (2) material expert validity of 1.00 (very high category); and (3) student learning motivation of 78.44% (high category), so it can be concluded that science magazines are suitable for use in learning and can motivate students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan menggunakan model contextual teaching and learning dengan metode eksperimen pada materi Ekologi. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2023/2024 di MTs Ihyaul Ulum Dukun Gresik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah semua siswa kelas VII sedangkan sampelnya yaitu kelas VII C dan VII D dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode yang digunakan ialah quasi experimental design dengan desain pretest posttest control group design. Analisis peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dihitung dengan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan skor N-Gain sebesar 0,74 dengan kategori tinggi dan pada kelas kontrol mengalami peningkatan skor N-Gain sebesar 0,27 dengan kategori rendah.Kata Kunci: berpikir kritis, contextual teaching and learning, eksperimen.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in environmental literacy after the implementation of the STM-assisted problem based learning model. At SMP Negeri 3 Burneh, Bangkalan Regency. This study uses the Problem Based Learning learning. The population of this study were all grade VII students in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. Sampling used a saturated sampling technique. The research sample was 28 students. Data were collected using environmental literacy questions, student response questionnaires, and learning implementation observation sheets. The results showed that: 1) the free sample T test obtained an α result of 0.003, namely there was a difference between the experimental and control groups in the posttest. 2) The N-Gain Score result in the experimental group was 0.3 with a moderate category
