The number of cases of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in Malang Raya during the COVID-19 pandemic has increased. This is due to the Large-Scale Social Restriction Program (PSBB), so that efforts to tackle the spread of DHF cannot run optimally. This study aims to create an animated film that facilitates education to the people of Malang Raya regarding efforts to prevent and control dengue outbreaks in the pandemic period and in the future. The research methodology is carried out using research and development methods which are divided into two major parts, namely product design and product design in the form of animated films. Research respondents consisted of 16 respondents with an age range of 15-21 years. The results showed that most of the respondents had never watched a DHF animated film. Respondents' responses indicated that there was a potential increase in dengue fever sufferers during the COVID-19 pandemic caused by low self-awareness such as ignoring the quality of their health when studying at home. Suggestions for the DHF animated film are to add information on how to drain the bathtub properly on a regular basis, bury used items that are no longer used, plant mosquito repellent plants, use insect repellent, and create posters or content about dengue fever.

Diarrhea is the main cause of death globally. Diarrhea is a condition where liquid stools occur when defecating and the intensity is more than 3 times a day due to Escherichia coli infection. Factors that cause diarrhea are unsafe clean water facilities, water contamination by feces and poor personal hygiene habits. Diarrhea is included in the top 10 most common diseases in Malang City and the highest cases are in the Dinoyo Health Center area. The aim of the study was to identify the relationship between sanitation facilities, personal hygiene and E. coli content on the incidence of diarrhea. This type of research is cross-sectional quantitative with a purposive sampling method, totaling 35 samples. Data were analyzed by Chi-Square and multiple logistic regression tests. Bivariate test analysis resulted in a value of p=0.011 for sanitation facilities, p=0.007 for personal hygiene and p=0.000 for E. coli content. Meanwhile, the most influential variable is known, namely the content of E. coli in clean water (p=0.012) with a value of (OR=41.562; 95% CI 2.259-764.763). In conclusion, there is a relationship between sanitation facilities, personal hygiene and E. coli content with the incidence of diarrhea.

Food safety is one of the significant public health issues, especially in developing countries. The extraordinary incidence of food poisoning and a high number of cases of gastrointestinal infections in Malang City indicate infection with the bacteria that cause dysentery, namely E.coli. This study evaluated hygiene-sanitation practices at food stalls in Area Terusan Ambarawa Malang City. This study aimed to identify Escherichia coli bacteria in 11 food stalls and assess the relationship of environmental sanitation and personal hygiene of food handlers to the presence of E.coli. This study used a quantitative descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach, data collection using a checklist observation questionnaire sheet, and laboratory tests to determine the number of E.coli bacteria. Based on laboratory tests, 10 (90.1 percent) of 11 food samples exceeded the E.coli quality standard according to the requirements of the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation 2023, the results of chi-square analysis of the relationship between environmental sanitation (p is 0.012) and the relationship between personal hygiene (p is 0.012), both variables have a significant relationship to the presence of E.coli. There is a relationship between personal hygiene and environmental sanitation and Escherichia coli contamination in food sold in Area Terusan Ambarawa Malang City.
