Abstract

Character education is a system that teaches character values ​​with elements of knowledge, awareness and action, as well as putting these values ​​into practice. One way to develop quality character or educate children about their character is to provide knowledge about how to behave according to expectations in everyday life and apply it in society. This characteristic behavior is certainly related to relationships with society. Since humans were born into this world, consciously or unconsciously, we have studied and understood social relationships, namely the relationships between humans in society. The research method in this article uses qualitative research: Literature Study, namely a data collection method by understanding and studying theories from various literature related to research. The aim of this research is to examine the sociology of education, the sociology of education as character formation through disciplinary habituation and implementation of disciplinary character formation.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi Iklim Kerja di PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur, Tbk yang meliputi faktor Komunikasi Interpersonal (X1), Konsep Diri (X2) dan Stres Kerja (X3). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif yang melibatkan 60 orang karyawan bagian prooduksi di PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur, Tbk sebagai responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pembagian kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan formula statistik, yakni dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda yang pengolahannya dilakukan dengan program SPSS versi 18.0. Hasil olahan program SPSS Versi 18.0 juga menunjukkan bahwa variabel Komunikasi Interpersonal (X1), Konsep Diri (X2) dan Stres Kerja (X3) berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap variabel Iklim Kerja (Y) di PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur, Tbk. Hasil olahan program SPSS Versi 18.0 menunjukkan bahwa variabel Komunikasi Interpersonal (X1), Konsep Diri (X2) dan Stres Kerja (X3) jika diuji secara serempak (simultan) berpengaruh positif terhadap Variabel Iklim Kerja (Y) di PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur, Tbk.

Abstract

Proses rekrutmen guru penting dilakukan secara efektif dan efisien. Ketidak efektifan proses rekrutmen akan memberikan dampak Sekolah memperoleh guru yang kurang baik. Penelitian terkait rekrutmen guru telah banyak membahas bahwasannya kualitas rekrutmen mempengaruhi kualitas guru yang diterima oleh lembaga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan  kajian mengbangkan proses manajemen rekrutmen guru dilandaskan pada manajemen proses PDCA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode SLR (Systematic Literature Review). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mendokumentasikan dan mereview semua artikel terkait manajemen rekrutmen dalam kurun waktu 2018-2022. Artikel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 18 artikel yang diperoleh dari Lens.org. Peneliti menggunakan PRISMA untuk menganalisis data yang terkumpul. Berdasarkan penelitian didapatkan sebuah kerangka manajemen rekrutmen yang merujuk pada siklus PDCA. Kegiatan rekrutmen diawali dengan kegiatan plan yang dimulai dari kegiatan analisis kebutuhan dan pemilihan metode rekrutmen. Kegiatan pelaksanaan diawali dengan penetapan panitia pelaksana rekrutmen, yang dimana bertugas untuk penetapan persyaratan calon guru, prosedur pendaftaran, jadwal rekrutmen dan penyiapan bahan ujian. Kegiatan dilanjutkan  kegiatan publikasi informasi lowongan sampai pada proses seleksi calon guru. Kegiatan Check dilakukan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian antara perencanaan dan pelaksanaan, hasil yang dicapai pada kegiatan rekrutmen, untuk mengawasi agar tidak terjadi penyimpangan selam proses rekrutmen. Kegiatan Act sebuah tindak lanjut hasil evaluasi untuk dilakukan pengembangan manajemen proses rekrutmen dimasa yang akan datang. Serangkaian kegiatan diatas dilakukan berulang menjadi sebuah siklus yang bertujuan untuk  selalu mengarah perbaikan.

Abstract

The Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology's Decree Number 384/P/2024 serves as a strategic foundation in the management of functional lecturer positions to support the tridharma of higher education. This policy responds to the need for aligning national regulations by utilizing technology, such as the Integrated Resource Information System (SISTER), to ensure transparency and accountability. Through an ontological, epistemological, and axiological philosophical approach, this policy emphasizes the importance of the presence of lecturers as agents of change, the validity of data-based assessments, and their benefits for institutions and society. Innovative strategies such as competency needs mapping, mentoring, and reward and punishment techniques are integrated to enhance the performance and professionalism of lecturers. With the five-stage Rogers adoption evaluation framework, this policy is designed to ensure adaptive and evidence-based implementation. Overall, this policy provides a new direction in the transformation of higher education in Indonesia, supports the sustainable development of lecturers, and holistically improves the quality of the academic ecosystem. Highlights: Emphasizes data-driven assessments to ensure transparency and accountability. Integrates competency mapping, mentoring, and rewards to boost professionalism. Abstract

Menanggapi meningkatnya permintaan lulusan yang dibekali keterampilan abad ke-21, pendidikan tinggi semakin beralih dari paradigma Pembelajaran Berpusat pada Guru (PBL) tradisional ke pendekatan Pembelajaran Berpusat pada Siswa (PBL). Studi ini berfokus pada evaluasi efektivitas implementasi metode PBL di universitas di Indonesia, khususnya untuk menggambarkan dampaknya terhadap pemahaman konseptual, motivasi intrinsik, dan keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa. Metodologi deskriptif kualitatif digunakan, mengumpulkan data dari 100 mahasiswa semester dua dan 10 dosen di program Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar. Instrumen utama meliputi kuesioner daring untuk mahasiswa, wawancara dengan dosen, dan observasi langsung di kelas, dengan data dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman dan diverifikasi melalui triangulasi. Temuan ini secara meyakinkan menunjukkan keberhasilan metode tersebut; misalnya, 76,6% mahasiswa melaporkan pemahaman konseptual yang lebih baik, 78,6% merasa lebih termotivasi untuk belajar mandiri, dan 80% menyatakan bahwa peran dosen sebagai fasilitator meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mereka. Disimpulkan bahwa meskipun tantangan seperti ketergantungan mahasiswa dan kesiapan dosen yang bervariasi masih ada, pendekatan SCL secara efektif menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dan relevan yang berhasil menumbuhkan kompetensi utama seperti kemandirian dan pemecahan masalah kritis. ABSTRACTIn response to the growing demand for graduates equipped with 21st-century skills, higher education is increasingly transitioning from the traditional Teacher-Centered Learning (TCL) paradigm to a Student-Centered Learning (SCL) approach. This study focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of the SCL method's implementation within an Indonesian university, specifically aiming to describe its impact on students' conceptual understanding, intrinsic motivation, and active engagement. A qualitative descriptive methodology was employed, gathering data from 100 second-semester students and 10 lecturers in an Elementary School Teacher Education program. The primary instruments included an online questionnaire for students, interviews with lecturers, and direct classroom observations, with data analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model and verified through triangulation. The findings overwhelmingly demonstrate the method's success; for instance, 76.6% of students reported better conceptual understanding, 78.6% felt more motivated to study independently, and 80% affirmed that the lecturer’s facilitator role enhanced their critical thinking skills. It is concluded that while challenges such as student dependency and varying lecturer readiness persist, the SCL approach effectively creates an interactive and relevant learning experience that successfully fosters key competencies like independence and critical problem-solving.

Abstract

Education does not only involve mastering academic knowledge, but also involves forming a strong personality in students. Therefore, educational management that focuses on the sociology of education is very important to strengthen students' overall character. This research uses a literature study method to investigate the role of educational sociology in shaping student character through educational management. The aim of this research is to collect and display relevant reading material regarding the importance of educational sociology in educational management, using the literature review method. From the research results, it can be concluded that the implications of sociology are closely related to the field of education, as a scientific discipline that seeks to understand methods for managing the educational process in order to advance individual personality development. Sociology of education is in-depth and deals with various problems that arise in the educational context, especially in social interactions between students and their environment, teachers and peers. Apart from that, educational sociology also observes social phenomena that arise in the education system.

Abstract

Education is the main foundation in shaping a thriving and sustainable society. The quality of instruction provided by teachers is a key factor in achieving optimal educational goals. This article explores the concept of social engagement in the context of teacher development with a focus on the utilization of performance appraisal as a strategy for determining training. Through a sociology of education perspective, this research aims to explore the complex relationship between social factors, interactions within the educational environment and the improvement of teacher professionalism. By integrating these concepts, this article details how teacher performance appraisals can be an effective foundation in establishing relevant training programs that positively impact their professional development. The method used in this study is Literature Review by reviewing three literatures related to research inclusion. Article searches were conducted through lens.org and google scholar. From the results of the study, it was found that the utilization of teacher performance appraisals was only utilized on the needs for payroll and promotion, not yet to the stage of determining the most needed training for teachers related to the results of performance appraisals. further evaluation of power dynamics, social interactions, and teacher participation in the performance appraisal process and determination of training is needed. This is important to achieve a more holistic and contextual approach to human resource management in education.
