Abstract

This study aims to develop an Android Application-Based Interactive E-Module to Increase Interest and Learning Outcomes of Physics Students of Class XI SMA Negeri 4 Musi Rawas which is valid, practical and effective. This type of research is research and development (R & D) with the development model used, namely ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The research sample or research subjects were students of class XI SMA Negeri 4 Musi Rawas students who were taken by simple random sampling technique. Data was collected by using questionnaires and tests. The validation carried out got results in a very good category, with a total score of 176. Student responses to the android application-based e-module were with a score of 88.23 which obtained a score of strongly agree. In addition, from the results of the tests carried out, an average value of 79,73 was obtained with tcount = 2,448 and ttable = 2.060 because tcount ttable then Ha was accepted and the average percentage of student activity during the practicum was 83.38% included in the very high category. So it can be said that the interactive e-module based on the android application that was developed was valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the application of the Direct Instruction learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class XI students in physics lessons at SMA Negeri Nibung. The type of research used is True Experimental Design research. The data collection technique in this study used a test in the form of essay questions on wave material. The design in this study used a design pattern of Pre-test and Post-test one group design because this design did not use a control class. The average value of student learning outcomes in the experimental class is 79.53 and the increase in the average value of student learning outcomes in the experimental class is 56.24. This shows that the physics learning outcomes of class XI students of SMA Negeri Nibung after the implementation of the Direct Instruction model are significantly completed. So it can be concluded that student learning outcomes are significantly completed.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is a significant relationship between learning outcomes and motivation to study science subjects in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau. The research population was all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau consisting of 6 classes totaling 163 students and the research sample was class VIII1 students with a total of 27 students. The data analysis technique used in this research is the product moment correlation technique. Based on the results of the study it was found that as many as 20 students answered that their learning motivation was sufficient, and there were 16 students whose learning outcomes were classified as very good. The existence of a relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes is proven by obtaining an rxy of 0,599 which is greater than rtable at a significant level of 5% = 0,382 So that rxy > rtable is obtained, namely 0,599 > 0,382 which is in the medium category. Then the t test was carried out, and ttable = 2,060 and tcount 3,733 were obtained. tcount > ttable so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows "there is a relationship between learning motivation and science learning outcomes for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau".

Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa tanah periuk, Kabupaten Musi Rawas dengan target sasaran masyarakat Desa tanah periuk. Sebagian besar masyarakat Desa tanah periuk bahkan setiap rumah memiliki ternak hewan berupa sapi, oleh sebab itu dipandang sangat tepat jika dosen melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Desa tanah periuk. Mengingat banyaknya ternak sapi di daerah tersebut TIM mengajak masyarakat setempat untuk mengelola kotaran sapi menjadi bahan bakar biogas. Kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat setempat akan pemanfaatan limbah kotoran sapi ini, membuat TIM tertarik untuk menerapkan teknologi tepat guna dalam memanfaatkan limbah kotoran sapi sebagai sumber energi alternatif yaitu biogas. Dengan adanya biogas diharapkan masyarakat tidak tergantung lagi pada elpiji mengingat pasokan energi saat ini semakin berkurang selain itu jika dibandingkan dengan elpiji penggunaan biogas dapat lebih menghemat pengeluaran karena mengingat harga elpiji pada saat ini yang semakin meningkat, maka diharapkan masyarakat dapat memanfaatkan energi terbarukan berupa biogas tersebut. Adapun metode yang TIM gunakan adalah metode sosialisasi dan diskusi tentang cara pembuatan biogas dari limbah kotoran sapi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari PKM ini adalah masyarakat Desa Tanah Periuk bisa membuat reaktor beserta Biogas, selain itu pengetahuan masyarakat juga meningkat.

Abstract

Desa Marga Tani kecamatan Jayaloka kabupaten Musi Rawas terletak di provinsi Sumatera Selatan yang mayoritas penduduk di sekitar tempat ini memiliki mata pencarian 75% sebagai petani dan memiliki komoditas perkebunan berupa tanaman sawit. Potensi tanaman sawit di wilayah ini sangat mendukung dan di daerah sekitar kecamatan Jayaloka ini terdapat juga pabrik pengolahan sawit, yang mana sawit ini nantinya diolah menjadi minyak goreng. Kelangkaan minyak goreng yang terjadi dalam kurun waktu 7 bulan terakhir ini membuat masyarakat sulit untuk mendapatkan minyak goreng, dan minyak curah yang di subsidi pemerintah pun menjadi langka. Masyarakat akhirnya memenuhi kebutuhan memasak sehari-hari menggunakan minyak goreng yang telah digunakan berulang-ulang. Padahal daerah ini komoditas utamanya adalah sawit yang bila diolah dengan baik maka akan menghasilkan minyak goreng. Edukasi masyarakat di desa ini mengenai penggunaan minyak goreng yang berulang-ulang dapat berbahaya bagi kesehatan masih minim. Padahal apabila dimanfaatkan dengan baik minyak jelantah akan menjadi produk yang tepat guna dan menjadi salah satu alternatif mengatasi kelangkaan jenis BBM saat ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh masyarakat desa Marga Tani dapat mengolah sendiri minyak jelantah menjadi biodiesel, selain itu pengetahuan masyarakat menjadi meningkat tentang cara pengolahan biodiesel.

Abstract

This program aims to help the people of Pasenan Village to be able to make a simple distillation device, which is used by residents to convert patchouli plants into essential oils. Most of the residents of Pasenan have gardens planted with patchouli plants, but local residents have not done the conversion of patchouli plants into essential oil. The limited knowledge of the community about the patchouli distillation process is one of the obstacles faced by the community. Patchouli plants are only dried and sold directly to collectors. The condition of the people of Pasenan Village, STL Ulu Terawas Subdistrict, most of whom do not know the selling value of patchouli if it is processed into essential oil, so it is necessary to update information on science and technology, namely by holding socialization and training on the use of patchouli distillation tools into essential oils. The implementation stages in this PKM are the preparation stage, the training/socialization stage, the design and manufacture stage of the distillation apparatus, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The target in this training is patchouli farmers in Pasenan village. The instrument used in this PKM is a knowledge and skills questionnaire. From the analysis of the results of the knowledge questionnaire, the average value of knowledge was 86, 7 in the "Very Good" category and skills of 82,3 with the "Very Good" category.

Abstract

This development research aims to (1) determine the quality of science-based physics comics on sound wave material and (2) improve students' physics learning outcomes after participating in learning activities using scientific-based physics comics on sound wave material. This research is a development research using a 4D model. The subjects of this study included students of class XI MIPA 2 MAN 1 Lubuklinggau. Data collection techniques were carried out using validation sheets and learning achievement tests. Based on the results of validation by material experts of 0.95; media experts at 0.89; and linguists at 0.87. Thus scientific-based physics comics are appropriate for use in classroom learning activities. And the results of the analysis of increasing student learning outcomes through questions with pretest and posttest learning outcomes tests. Increased mastery of physics material after students use scientific-based physics comics developed after being analyzed with a Gain Score score of 0.79 is included in the very high category. Based on the research data obtained, it can be concluded that science-based physics comics on sound waves for class XI developed by researchers are declared valid and can improve student learning outcomes so that they can be used in learning activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this development research is to (1) increase learning independence and (2) improve students' physics learning outcomes after participating in learning using the phyphox application-assisted sound wave e-module. This research is a development research with the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were students of grade XI Science 1 MAN 2 Lubuklinggau. Data collection techniques are carried out in the form of validation sheets, learning independence questionnaires and learning outcomes tests. The validation obtained 0.82 material experts, media experts 0.85 and linguists 0.87. Thus, the phyphox application-assisted sound wave e-module is very feasible for use in the classroom. And the results of the analysis of increasing learning independence of 85% and the analysis of learning outcomes with questions that have pre-test and post-test learning results, obtained a Gain Score of 0.54 included in the medium category. . Based on the research data obtained, it can be concluded that the sound wave e-module assisted by the phyphox application can improve student independence and learning outcomes so that it can be used in learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis POE, sehingga diperlukan studi pendahuluan yang terdiri atas studi literatur dan studi lapangan. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data penelitian ini berupa lembar wawancara analisis kebutuhan guru, dan angket analisis kebutuhan peserta didik. Media pembelajaran yang akan dikembangkan berupa LKPD Fisika berbasis POE. Analisis kebutuhan dilakukan untuk mengetahui bahan ajar digunakan guru, kendala saat pembelajaran berlangsung, dan bahan ajar diperlukan peserta didik. Hasil analisis kebutuhan 32 peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Sabililah diperoleh 84,4% memiliki buku pegangan untuk belajar fisika akan tetapi, 97,7% peserta didik materi getaran dan gelombang di dalam buku pegangan sulit dipahami. Sehingga menurut 87,5% peserta didik buku pegangan yang digunakan belum mencukupi sebagai sumber belajar dan 95,5% peserta didik membutuhkan bahan ajar lain untuk menunjang kegiatan belajar serta 93,7% peserta didik membutuhkan bahan ajar lain yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan perlunya dikembangkan bahan ajar berupa LKPD berbasis POE materi getaran dan gelombang.
