Abstract

Pada saat ini proses pengolahan serat rami menjadi China grass dilakukan dengan menggunakan proses secara fisika dan kimia. Hasilnya cukup balk, tetapi proses ini menghasilkan limbah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah limbah tersebut dengan mengolah serat rami menggunakan mikroorganisme, pada proses delignifikasi dan degumming. Pada penelitian ini adalah jenis-jenis bahan perendam digunakan sebaqai variabel (media mikroorganisme) yaitu: air laut, air kelapa kopyor, air enzim papain, larutan bakteri dan air rawa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian  untuk proses delignifikasi yang terbaik adalah perendaman serat rami selama 4 hari dengan air laut dan untuk proses degumming adalah perendaman 5 hari oleh bakteri Pseudomonas fluoresence 15%. Spesifikasi china grass yang dihasilkan adalah kuat tarik per helai 320,8 pada kondisi standar 32,7 mN, kehalusan 5,29 Dtex (1,76 Denier) dan kemuluran 1,8% serta warna serat yang dihasilkan berwarna putih dan berkilau.

Abstract

In line with the economical development, there are a lot of old buildings renovation which produces material waste like roof tile.To use the existing roof tile waste, the research on the use of cncrete roof tile waste for concrete mixture was performed considering that concrete roof tele fraction is hard enough. By using part of concrete roof tile fraction in the agregate for concrete mixture, it is expected that it doesn’t affect the quality or pressure strength of produced concrete. This is more economical since the pebble price is more expensive than concrete roof tile price. The aim of the reseach is to find out the percentage of concrete roof tile fraction in the coarse aggregate for concrete mixture so that it doesn’t affect the concrete pressure strenght, seek for the correlation between concrete pressure strenght and the precentage of concrete roof tile fraction in coarse aggregate for concrete mixture, seek for the correlation between concrete pressure strenght and aggregate weathering. In the research, the testing material is in the form of cube 15 x 15 x 15 cm with slump value as the fixed variable mean while the non fixed variable is the precentage of concrete roof tile fraction in the mixture, that is 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 % of is coarse aggregate. From the result of the research, it is obtained that in the 10 % percentage of concrete roof tile fraction, the generated concrete pressure strength doesn’t change or has no influence. The correlation between concrete pressure strength and the percentage of concrete roof tile fraction in the aggregate is y = -1.539 x + 242.6 and the correlation between concrete pressure strength and the aggregate weathering is y = -6.519 x2 + 242.2 x – 2013. With the percentage ot roof tile fraction in the aggregate asmuch as 50 % may affects the decreasing of concrete quality and the concrete pressure strength reaches 29.5%.

Abstract

Background: By the Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS) in 2012, infant mortality rate in Indonesia is still quite high at 32 deaths per 1,000 live births. The majority of infant deaths occur in the neonatal period. The main capital in achieving quality health starts since the beginning with breastfeeding without any additional food in this case of exclusive breastfeeding. Many mothers do not provide exclusive breastfeed due to social factors (maternal employment, social, cultural, supportfamily). Aims: This paper explains the relationship between the rate of participation in maternal supporting group with the success of exclusive breastfeeding program in Community Health Centers Umbulharjo I Yogyakarta in 2014. Methods: This study employed correlation analytical survey with cross sectional approach. The samples were 30 mothers who having a baby age 6 to 12 months, and participated in a maternal supporting group. Results: Of the 30 respondents, 26 (86.7%) of respondents successfully breastfeed exlusive. Of which 23 respondents (76.7%) with a participation rate of mothers in support groups with good category, 22 (73.3%) were successful exclusive breastfeeding and 1 (3.3%) of respondents who did not give exclusive breastfeeding, in the medium category 3 respondents (10.0%), 2 respondents (6,7%) were successful exclusive breastfeeding, and 1 (3.3%) of respondents who did not give exclusive breastfeeding, and low category 4 respondents (%13.3), 2 respondents (6,7%) were successful exclusive breastfeeding and 2 (6.7%) of respondents who did not give exclusive breastfeeding. The participation rate of mothers in maternal supporting group affects the success of exclusive breastfeeding with the P value = 0.026. Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between the rate of participation of mothers in maternal supporting group success exclusive breastfeeding mothers. The social relations become very important to increase the exclusive breastfeeding through mother support groups.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension management can be done by using drugs andlifestyle modification. Lifestyle modification can be done through limitingsalt intake,losing weight, avoiding caffeinated drinks, smoking and alcoholas well asexercising and controlling stress. The recommended sports arewalking, running, jogging and heart- healthy exercise.Purpose: to determine the effect of a healthy heart gymnastic intervention on reducing blood pressure in clients with hypertensionMethods: The method used in this study is to collect relevant journals, review and analyze journals in the last 5 years obtained from the PubMed, ScienceDirect, Onesearch, and Google Scholar databases.Results: Based on the results of a literature review, healthy heart gymnastic has been shown to reduce blood pressure in clients with hypertension.Conclusion: A healthy heart gymnastic intervention showed a good impact for clients with hypertension which was shown in decreasing blood pressure.Suggestion: healthy heart gymnastic is used as a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to treat the decrease in blood pressure in hypertensive clients, and can reduce further complications. Keywords: hypertension, blood pressure, healthy heart gymnastic

Abstract

Test selection is very influential in determining the design parameters. The aim of this research is to study the dimensions of the triaxial test soil sample on clay soils in the Semarang area to obtain soil shear parameters that can be used as design parameters. The tests include testing the physical and mechanical properties of the soil. Mechanical testing uses a triaxial test. The UU triaxial test sample is modeled with a diameter of 3.5 cm and 3.8 cm, while the CU sample is 3.5 cm. Based on the results of soil property index testing, sieve analysis, and consistency limits, it can be concluded that the soil samples are non-organic clay with high plasticity. Based on the triaxial test UU values of c and Ï… it can be seen that the largest shear parameter occurs in the specimen with a diameter of 3.8 cm. The largest UU triaxial test c value is 0.32 kg/cm2 , meanwhile, for Ï… it has a value of 11.65 º. The specimen with a larger diameter has a greater shear stress value. This can be influenced by larger c and Ï… values. The c and c' values of the triaxial CU test results were 0.32 kg/cm2 and 0.50 kg/cm2 respectively. While the values of Ï… and Ï…' are 9.89 º and 17.35 º respectively. The Ï„ and Ï„' values obtained were 1,394 kg/cm2 and 1,405 kg/cm2 , respectively. The modulus of elasticity of soil is 1500 kN/m2 and 3200 kN/m2 respectively which is included in the type of soft clay soil with a value range of 1800 ”“ 3500 kN/m2 and is included in the CH classification with a range of 0.35”“4 MPa. Abstract

The main problems with soft clay soil are high water content, low soil mineral content, and high compressibility, so stabilization materials are needed that can increase the bearing capacity of soft soil. In this research, the urease enzyme was used as a catalyst to increase the bearing capacity of the soil. The material used is organic material, namely soybean powder. The stabilization materials used are urea (CHâ‚„Nâ‚‚O), calcium chloride (CaCl2), and soybean powder (urease enzyme), which will form a lime compound so that it functions as a catalyst for adhesive in stabilizing soft soil. This research aims to improve soft soil by stabilizing it using the SICP (Soybean Induced Calcite Precipitation) method. The variations in urea and CaCl2 concentrations used were 1 mol/L, 2 mol/L, 3 mol/L, 4 mol/L, and 5 mol/L. The soybean extract concentrate used was 30% with a curing time of 7 days. The most optimal test result and what is used is 3 mol/L. This is in line with the SEM and XRD test results. Test specimens were made and cured for 7, 14, 21, and 28 days and then tested for unconfined compressive strength (UCS) to determine the effect of adding calcium carbonat on soil strength. The UCS test shows that the optimum shear strength value of soil cemented with calcium carbonat is produced in a curring period of 14 days is 1.02 kg/cm2. Meanwhile, for a curring period of more than 14 days, the increase in the unconfined compressive strength value is relatively very small. The increase in soil compressive strength after stabilization was 30.77%. The compressive strength value of the soil increases due to the presence of calcium carbonat formed between the soil grains.

Abstract

Desa Bojongsari terletak di kabupaten Bekasi tepatnya di kecamatan Kedungwaringin, Mengalami masalah serius terkait sistem drainase yang tersumbat, yang mengakibatkan risiko banjir dan genangan air. bertujuan untuk memiliki sistem drainase yang berfungsi dengan baik dan lingkungan yang lebih bersih, lebih aman bagi semua warganya. Dengan cara meningkatan dalam tindakan praktis, terutama terkait dengan pembersihan pasca-banjir dan partisipasi dalam kegiatan bakti sosial, dan sektor swasta. Untuk memahami persepsi, sikap, dan tindakan masyarakat terkait dengan masalah ini, dilakukan analisis kuesioner yang melibatkan 30 responden dari desa tersebut. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden (80%) menyatakan bahwa kondisi drainase di desa tidak optimal, dengan sampah didentifikasi sebagai penyebab utama penyumbatan.

Abstract

Penelitian pada kelompok B di BA Aisyiyah Annur dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan aspek fisik motorik halus anak kelompok B dalam hal menganyam. 50% lebih hasil anyaman anak tidak rapi dan anak tidak antusias dalam kegiatan menganyam. Guru tidak menggunakan media yang yang bervariasi serta tidak menggunakan metode yang tepat saat menyampaikan penjelasan.Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah kegiatan menganyam dapat meningkatkan motoric halus anak kelompok B BA Aisyiyah Annur Kersan. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 20 anak kelompok B di BA Aisyiyah Annur Kersan. Dari hasil akhir penelitian yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Pada siklus satu diperoleh kemampuan dengan kategori anak mampu melakukan kegiatan tanpa bantuan (BSB) memperoleh prosentase masih dibawah 50% kemudian pada siklus dua kategori anak mampu tanpa bantuan (BSB) meningkat hingga 80%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa kemampuan motoric halus anak dapat ditingkatkan melalui kegiatan menganyam melalui berbagai media dengan metode demontrasi pada kelompok B BA Aisyiyah Annur. Dari hasil penelitian perlu adanya peelitian lanjut dengan penambahan jumlah siklus yang lebih Panjang.   Kata kunci : Motorik halus, menganyam, demonstrasi kelompok

Abstract

Pemodelan alat ukur debit ambang lebar ini diharapkan dapat memudahkan dalam pemahaman khususnya perilaku aliran yang mengalir melalui alat ukur debit ambang lebar. Mulai dari perilaku hidrolis, ketelitian pengukuran, dan pembuatan lengkung debitnya. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan hubungan debit dengan tinggi muka air di hulu, tinggi muka air di hilir, muka air di atas ambang, dan kehilangan energi untuk pelimpah ambang lebar. Untuk pelimpah adalah pembuatan model alat ukur debit ambang lebar ini adalah dengan mengasumsikan bahwa bilangan Froude yang terjadi pada model sama dengan bilangan Froude yang terjadi pada kondisi di lapangan. Sehingga dengan demikian skala debit, waktu, kecepatan dan volume akan dapat mewakili kondisi sesungguhnya di lapangan dengan skala panjang lebar dan tinggi1 : 100. Hasil yang diharapkan dari rancang bangun ini adalah berupa model uji alat ukur debit ambang lebar sebagai prototype yang perilaku hidrolisnya dapat diamati mahasiswa dengan pemahaman yang lebih mudah seperti kejadian sesungguhnya di lapangan. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah melakukan pengujian di laboratorium hidrolika dengan memvariasikan debit mulai dari Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, ”¦. Qn, untuk mendapatkan variasi tinggi muka air di hulu dan di hilir pelimpah ambang lebar menghasilkan kehilangan energi yang relatif kecil dengan trend Y= -1140,4x2 + 0,6383x + 0,0077untuk pelimpah ambang lebar kemiringan hilir 1:1 dengan Y adalah kehilangan energi dalam meter dan X adalah debit dalam m3/detik

Abstract

Bridges have a central role as routes that connect between regions, one of which is Permata Jangli Housing Phase 2. Because of the importance of this connectivity, community dedication to repairing bridges is a major concern in efforts to maintain the safety and sustainability of the bridge. This community service examines repair methods for the retaining walls around the bridge to avoid the potential for the bridge to be eroded by water flow. Through the active participation of community members and the implementation of appropriate construction techniques, the results of this collaboration show that the retaining walls around the bridge have been successfully repaired, as well as increasing their resistance to water pressure and erosion. The success of this community service not only improves the quality of life of local residents by ensuring sustainable connectivity, but also empowers communities in efforts to preserve their vital infrastructure. This community service can be an inspiring example for similar efforts in similar housing complexes that face similar challenges in maintaining important infrastructure such as bridges. This underlines the important role of community service in maintaining infrastructure as a key aspect in sustainable development in urban housing.
