Abstract

This study is a qualitative literature review aimed at exploring the challenges and opportunities of integrating generative artificial intelligence (GAI) in human resource management (HRM) practices. GAI, as an advanced technology, holds significant potential to enhance operational efficiency in HRM through the automation of administrative tasks, improved accuracy in performance evaluations, and the development of more interactive and adaptive employee training. However, its implementation also faces several challenges, including employee resistance to change and the unpreparedness of technological infrastructure. Furthermore, ethical issues such as algorithmic bias in recruitment processes are a major concern, potentially exacerbating inequities if not properly monitored. This research identifies that the success of integrating GAI into HRM depends on the organization’s readiness to address technological and ethical challenges, as well as the importance of careful planning. The findings provide valuable insights for organizations in designing effective strategies for GAI integration to improve performance and organizational dynamics while addressing potential risks.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of digitalization on technological innovation in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through a qualitative literature review approach. In the era of digital transformation, MSMEs face various opportunities and challenges. Digitalization has the potential to enhance MSMEs' competitiveness by accelerating product, service, and business process innovation, but it also requires them to overcome limitations such as limited technological skills and financial constraints. By analyzing previous studies using the bivariate probit model, this study finds that digital technology adoption is positively correlated with increased innovation in MSMEs. Digitalization has been shown to expand market access, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen MSMEs' adaptability to changes in the business environment. However, internal and external barriers, such as low digital literacy and limited funding access, remain significant obstacles. This study emphasizes the importance of support from the government and related institutions in providing training and funding access so that MSMEs can fully leverage digitalization for sustainable innovation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of private equity in resolving failed banks following the 2008 financial crisis and its impact on financial stability. Using a qualitative literature review method, this research examines 30 related studies covering restructuring efficiency, capital stability, operational innovation, and market concentration risks. The findings indicate that private equity can expedite the resolution of failed banks through effective restructuring and improved operational efficiency. However, challenges such as moral hazard risks and market concentration require strict regulatory oversight. The contribution of private equity to financial stability is contextual, depending on market structures and local regulations. This research provides strategic insights for policymakers to optimize the benefits of private equity in the financial sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of equity volatility and leverage on investment risk, focusing on the relationship between debt overhang and equity option value. Through a qualitative literature review, this research reveals that equity volatility plays a role in reducing companies' incentives to invest, especially amid market uncertainty. Meanwhile, high leverage can worsen a company's inability to invest due to the heavy debt burden. The phenomenon of debt overhang causes companies to be reluctant to invest because the benefits generated from such investments are primarily enjoyed by creditors. This study provides valuable insights into the interaction between equity volatility, leverage, and debt overhang in corporate investment decision-making, as well as the importance of effective financial risk management.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of the Expectation-Confirmation Model (ECM) and Task-Technology Fit (TTF) in understanding the sustainability of cloud-based e-learning in educational institutions. Using a qualitative literature review approach, this research examines relevant prior studies to analyze the relationship between task-technology fit, expectation confirmation, and users' continuance intention. The findings reveal that the alignment between e-learning technology features and users’ task needs significantly contributes to perceived usefulness and satisfaction, ultimately driving continuance intention. Additionally, external factors such as institutional support and system quality play crucial roles in sustaining usage. The integration of ECM and TTF provides a more comprehensive analytical framework to explain users' post-adoption behavior towards cloud-based e-learning.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the level of financial literacy of generation Z related to savings and investment, as well as the importance of understanding both concepts in personal financial management. Generation Z faces challenges in managing their income amidst rapid economic and technological developments. Saving is often considered a safe way to save money with low risk, but is affected by inflation which can reduce purchasing power. On the other hand, investment offers the potential for higher returns but with greater risk. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach through interviews and surveys involving participants from among students. The results of the study indicate that although generation Z has an interest in investment, many do not understand the fundamental differences between saving and investing and the importance of financial diversification. The recommendation of this study is the importance of financial literacy education that includes understanding risk, financial management, and the use of financial technology in order to achieve long-term financial stability.

Abstract

This qualitative literature review investigates the role of managerial ties, external ecosystems, and the resource-based perspective in fostering business model innovation (BMI) in small ventures. By examining a range of studies, the review highlights how small businesses leverage managerial ties to access critical resources, knowledge, and networks that enable innovation. Additionally, the review explores the importance of engaging with external ecosystems, such as suppliers, customers, and research institutions, in enhancing the business model innovation process. Drawing on the resource-based view (RBV), the study emphasizes the significance of both tangible and intangible resources for successful innovation. The findings suggest that small ventures with strong managerial ties and dynamic capabilities are more likely to navigate the complexities of BMI. This review contributes to a deeper understanding of the factors that influence business model innovation in small ventures, offering valuable insights for both researchers and practitioners.
