Abstract

This study aims to develop low-cost and environmentally friendly material galvanic-based dissolved oxygen sensors. A Dissolved oxygen (DO) sensor has been designed and fabricated on an 85 x 205 mm galvanic-based. The sensor structure device consists of Al-Zn reference layer electrode, Ag/AgCl active electrode, 120ml KCl electrolyte solvent 0,1 M, and closed by TiO2 membrane (PTFE). The Al-Zn formation reference electrode was done by Ag layer chlorination using FeCl3, and the TiO2 membrane was formed by TiO2 paste screen printing. The test was done to measure the sensor’s performance based on the current-voltage characteristics between 1.0 and 1.8 V. The results showed that a stable diffusion current was obtained when the input voltage was 1.5 V, resulting in the best sensor performance with a sensitivity of 0.7866 μA L/mg and a stable step response time of 3 mins. This prototype sensor showed high potential for prototyping for a low-cost water quality monitoring system.

Abstract

Smart agriculture has an emerged concept by using IoT sensors capable of providing various information about their field condition and conducting environmental monitoring to improve the yield of efficient crops. This research aims to develop a microclimate monitoring system in a closed house. The microclimate being monitored is the effective temperature, which is the temperature felt by broilers at that time in a fast area. In this research, IoT has been implemented using WeMos D1 R32 by sending sensor data to observe the effective temperature parameters as actual temperature, humidity, and wind speed into an MQTT cloud server. Microclimate control in the cage is based on effective temperature. The data can be displayed on a 16x4 LCD screen and accessed via an Android smartphone from anywhere and at any time.

Abstract

Mikroskop Digital merupakan salah satu pengembangan dari mikroskop cahaya yang memungkinkan gambar untuk ditampilkan pada layar monitor komputer. Mikroskop Digital terkini memungkinkan proses pengamatan preparat dilakukan dengan lebih detail. Pengamatan dapat dilakukan secara tidak langsung menggunakan bantuan aktuator mikroskopik untuk mendapatkan susunan elemen-elemen citra dasar yang nantinya akan digabungkan menjadi sebuah citra tunggal dengan resolusi tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang perangkat lunak pada mikrostepper. Perangkat lunak ini bertujuan untuk menentukan citra yang paling fokus dari beberapa dataset citra masukan.Perangkat lunak yang dibuat untuk menentukan fokus citra digital yakni menggunakan Delphi. Tahap perancangan berisi tentang prosedur pengembangan program yang terdiri dari pengumpulan sampel data citra mikroskop digital, pengubahan citra menjadi aras keabuan, ekstraksi fitur citra hingga didapatkan nilai cost function tertinggi.  Algoritma ekstraksi ciri  yang digunakan dalam pencarian nilai cost function (C) citra digital mikroskopik antara lain  Teknik Penurunan Laplacian, Teknik Statistikal Variansi Ternormalisasi, Teknik Histogram Entropi.Tahap implementasi pengambilan sampel citra digital, pengubahan citra menjadi aras keabuan, konvolusi citra digital dan kuantisasi nilai fokus citra.Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa dataset citra masukan dapat diproses dengan benar melalui proses pengubahan citra masukan menjadi aras keabuan, tahapan konvolusi dan nilai cost function mampu didapatkan sesuai dengan teknik pencarian menggunakan ekstraksi fitur. Citra terpilih dapat ditentukan setelah mengetahui perbandingan masing-masing nilai cost function pada citra masukan. Perangkat lunak dapat berjalan baik pada sistem operasi Windows 7. Pada bagian antarmuka, tombol-tombol dan prosedur program telah berfungsi sesuai dengan fungsionalitasnya masing-masing.

Abstract

Purpose: This research was conducted to help identify diseases early and provide suggestions for recommendation systems for these plants in general that are beneficial for farmers.Design/methodology/approach: This research goes through several stages, namely planning , analysis, design, and implementation.Findings/result: CLIPS-based Horticultural Plant Disease Identification Expert SystemOriginality/value/state of the art: In the process of diagnosing plant diseases, it requires the accuracy and thoroughness of an expert or experts on symptoms that indicate a disease because of the similarity of these symptoms. Misdiagnosis of existing symptoms causes differences in the results of the diagnosis with the actual disease suffered by the plant. Along with the development of technology, a system was devised that would help report early identification of diseases and provide suggestions for recommendation systems for these plants in general that are beneficial to farmers.

Abstract

Makalah ini membahas pemodelan sistem kendali fuzzy yang diterapkan pada dispenser menggunakan simulasi piranti lunak Matlab. Dispenser dilengkapi dengan sensor dan pengendali temperatur yang dikenal sebagai thermostat dan dua buah lampu indikator untuk warna merah sebagai penanda dalam proses pemanasan keadaan standby ditandai dengan warna hijau. Secara keadaan semula, dispenser saat ini belum dapat membedakan kapan heater dapat dikendalikan dengan beberapa kondisi kebutuhan tertentu. Sehingga diperlukan sebuah mekanisme agar dispenser dapat membedakan diantara kondisi tiga keadaan dimana error, delta error dan control action agar sesuai dengan keluaran dari temperatur air yang dibutuhkan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dibutuhkan sebuah pemodelan yang dapat menjelaskan bagaimana pengendali termostat tersebut dapat melakukan control action yang terdiri dari tiga buah kondisi. Salah satu piranti yang digunakan untuk memodelkan plant tersebut menggunakan Matlab simulink agar didapatkan control action yang sesuai dan bisa digunakan untuk merancang sistem kendali berikutnya yang lebih praktis dan ramah lingkungan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rule base yang telah dirancang, dapat diterapkan pada pemodelan simulasi dengan keadaan termostat yang sesuai untuk menentukan control action yang sesuai. Input signal step dapat digunakan pada plant ini dan didapatkan scope pada bagian output berupa grafik kontrol yang sesuai dengan nilai target.

Abstract

Edge detection is one of the essential techniques in digital image processing used to identify sudden changes in pixel intensity in an object. In the context of road marking detection on highways, accurate edge detection plays a crucial role in improving motorist safety and navigation. The Canny Edge Detection method has been proven effective in detecting edges with high accuracy in digital image processing. However, applying Canny Edge Detection on road images in various conditions still requires further research. This research aims to implement the Canny Edge Detection method in road marking detection on highway images. The main stages of this research include image pre-processing, where noise is removed, and the image is converted into a grayscale image to prepare the image before edge detection using the Canny method. In addition, a comparison will be made with several other image pre-processing methods, such as median and bilateral blur, to determine the most effective method for edge detection on road markings. Based on the research results, applying the Canny Edge Detection method with pre-processing using median blur is a practical approach to road marking detection on highway images. This method can produce accurate and optimized edge detection, which can be the basis for developing automatic road marking detection systems on highways. The findings can contribute to the improvement of motorist safety and navigation as well as the development of more accurate and effective edge detection technology on road markings.

Abstract

Sampah kota yang didominansi oleh sampah pasar dan rumahtangga (selanjutnya hanya akan disebut dengan “sampah” saja) merupakan problematika pelik yang harus disolusikan secara terintegrasi dari hulu sampai hilir. Berbagai metode penanganan sampah yang ada belum mampu menangani permasalahan sampah hingga benar-benar tuntas karena karakteristik sampah yang tercampur sejak dari hulu sehingga membuat proses penyortiran untuk mendukung konsep reduce-reuse-recycle menjadi pekerjaan yang berat dan tidak efisien. Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama (UNU) Yogyakarta pada akhir tahun 2019 telah membangun purwarupa awal berupa rangkaian mesin pemusnah sampah tanpa pilah- pilih untuk mengatasi sampah residu luaran bank sampah yang dianggap sudah tidak lagi memiliki nilai ekonomis. Mesin ini terdiri dari unit mesin pencacah-koyak (shredder), unit mesin pengering mekanik (press dryer manual) dan unit mesin pembakar-arang (gasifier). Dengan adanya penelitian lanjutan rancang bangun mekanisme pemusnahan sampah tanpa pilah-pilih ini maka diharapkan permasalahan sampah yang dihadapi oleh berbagai bank sampah di Kelurahan Sorosutan dapat diselesaikan sepenuhnya tanpa menghasilkan residu lanjutan yang harus dibuang ke TPA Piyungan.

Abstract

SMA N 1 Ungaran faces several priority issues related to students' career maturity, including a low understanding of student's interests and personality types, as well as a lack of information about further study options and types of work. Students have difficulty in determining a suitable career, coupled with a lack of effective communication between students and parents. The proposed solutions include training on improving career maturity and effective communication with parents, as well as the development of a website-based application called KarierKu. The implementation of the activity began with socialization activities for students and teachers regarding the activity plan and the development of the KarierKu application. The KarierKu is mobile-friendly and provides six main menus: Consultation, My Plan, RIASEC Test, List of Universities, List of Professions, and SNBP Mapping. These menus support students in choosing career and education paths, as well as facilitating consultations with guidance and counseling teachers. The next activity is the use of the KarierKu carried out to parents and students which is also related to improving communication between parents, students, and guidance and counseling teachers. The next activity is assistance in using the KarierKu. This service activity produces a KarierKu that can be used by counseling teachers, students, and parents to increase career maturity. Furthermore, there is an increase in student career maturity before and after the activity. It can be concluded that the use of the KarierKu in training activities can improve the career maturity of SMA N 1 Ungaran students.

Abstract

One important key to determining water quality as a habitat for live fish is the climate of the water. A good water climate in aquaculture is needed by aquatic animals to survive, such as fish and other aquatic organisms. To maintain it, it can be controlled by the aeration rate and monitoring the amount of water by microcontroller. Monitoring water quality and maintaining the amount of water activity at a certain volume is necessary by farmers to get good harvests. Fish Farmers typically rely on irrigation and rain, which cause the aquatic climate to change. Therefore, this research proposed to design a system to maintain the water climate and amount of water so that they remain in accordance with the levels required by fish. In general, a water climate control system using Mamdani fuzzy logic control has been implemented, which is used to manipulate output equipment in the form of aeration speed based on water climate parameters as the input. This system will also automatically control to drain or refill water if needed by water pump. This system consists of materials, components, and sensors to get the data. A pond-type aquarium is used as a simple test. As a method to make this happen, fuzzy logic is used based on the available input and categorizes it into several criteria, then provides knowledge-based principles, inference mechanisms, and the defuzzification phase. The test results showed success in controlling the water climate quality and the maintain amount of water, with success rate at 88,89% and 91,67%. This shows that the proposed system has worked effectively to control climate water quality and maintain the amount of available water.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat di dusun Wirogomo Banyubiru bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan AI dalam pendidikan di era society 5.0, dengan fokus pada smart parenting bagi ibu rumah tangga. Metode yang diterapkan mencakup sosialisasi dan edukasi melalui seminar, lokakarya, serta penyuluhan langsung. Materi edukatif berupa praktik, infografis, dan e-book juga disediakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman. Bagi ibu rumah tangga yang bergerak dalam usaha mikro dan calon wirausaha, program ini menawarkan pelatihan pemanfaatan AI dalam usaha digital, strategi pemasaran, serta bimbingan teknis dan mentoring. Pendekatan partisipatif digunakan dengan melibatkan ibu rumah tangga dalam diskusi dan pelatihan, serta pemanfaatan media sosial untuk membangun komunitas ini. Partisipasi masyarakat didorong melalui keterlibatan komunitas ibu rumah tangga sebagai agen perubahan, bekerja sama dengan lembaga pendidikan dan pemerintah daerah, serta pembangunan platform digital untuk berbagi pengalaman. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui survei dan wawancara guna mengukur pemahaman dan perubahan perilaku peserta. Indikator capaian meliputi peningkatan pemahaman tentang AI dalam pola asuh anak, terbentuknya komunitas smart parenting, serta peningkatan keterampilan digital ibu rumah tangga. Hasil program ini juga tercermin dalam hasil uji pemahaman dan saran untuk memastikan keberlanjutan kegiatan.
