Abstract

Job descriptions are typically created by human resources professionals, hiring managers, or supervisors and are used for various purposes. The purpose of the study was to see how the results of the effect of job descriptions on employee performance at the Office of Public Housing and Settlement Areas, Pematang Siantar City, totalling 61 employees. The validity test results show that the questionnaire items have reliable criteria, as well as the reliability test that the questionnaire has double criteria. The equation results from simple regression show the value Y = 11.289 + 0.371X, this means that the results are found that the positive direction coefficient value of the job description variable on employee performance., this means that a well-structured job description can be used as a basic tool to improve employee performance.

Abstract

The ability of an organization to be able to achieve its goals cannot be separated from the ability of employees to always be involved in their work and apply work discipline that applies in the organization. The results of a study of civil servants of the Regional Secretariat of Samosir Regency as many as 118 people, using Slovin formula were obtained by respondents 91 employees. For instrument validity tests, valid results are found, while for reliability, reliable results are found. The equation of multiple regression found that work involvement and work discipline found a positive direction coefficient on employee performance with the results of the equation. Then for a partial test, it was found that employee involvement had a positive and significant influence on employee performance, the influence of work discipline on employee performance found positive and significant results on employee performance. Simultaneously, the results were obtained that work involvement and work discipline had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. When employees are always involved in their work and are able to follow all work disciplines applied by the organization, it will directly produce good performance as well.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of OrganizationalCitizenship Behavior (OCB) and teacher performance at SMP Taman SiswaPematangsiantar, as well as evaluate the influence of OCB on teacherperformance. The research employs a quantitative design with a descriptiveapproach through literature and field studies, involving a population of 24individuals. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, anddocumentation, and analyzed using normality tests, descriptive analysis, andquantitative analysis. The results indicate that OCB and teacher performanceare categorized as good. Furthermore, it was found that OCB has a positive andsignificant influence on teacher performance. The relationship between OCBand teacher performance is strong, with OCB making a significant contributionto explaining the teacher performance variable. These findings highlight thestrategic role of OCB in enhancing teacher performance, making theoptimization of OCB a crucial factor in improving the quality of education.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting dalam perekonomian daerah. Pemanfaatan Digital Marketing dan Pengelolaan Keuangan yang tepat adalah menjadi faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan kinerja pengembangan usaha UMKM. UMKM Salad Buah Siantar adalah salah satu jenis usaha mikro yang bergerak di bidang usaha kuliner dessert. Produk dessert yang dihasilkan yaitu aneka puding, aneka salad buah, parsel buah, cemilan, kue dan minuman beserta Fruit Tart. Metode pelayanan ini meliputi pelatihan intensif dan bimbingan langsung bagi UMKM di Salad Buah Siantar Pematang Siantar. Pelatihan berfokus pengenalan digital marketing, antara lain: penggunaan media sosial, pembuatan situs web, periklanan digital, dan strategi pemasaran online lainnya. Selain itu, pelatihan tersebut berfokus pada pengelolaan keuangan dasar, termasuk pencatatan pendapatan dan pengeluaran, perencanaan anggaran, dan penggunaan alat keuangan. Luaran yang diharapkan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah peningkatan keterampilan pemanfaatan digital marketing dan pengelolaan keuangan UMKM di Salad Buah Siantar Pematang Siantar. Peningkatan ini diharapkan dapat membantu UMKM meningkatkan awareness terhadap produk dan layanannya melalui digital marketing, mengoptimalkan penggunaan sumber daya keuangan, serta mencapai pertumbuhan bisnis yang berkelanjutan.
