Abstract

Bengkala Village in Buleleng Regency has been known as an area that is home to people with a hearing impairment. Their inability to communicate verbally like people in general does not make a group of people with disabilities unable to work. In this community service activity, people with disabilities in Bengkala Village are given training and guidance to produce incense that can be sold to people around and outside the village. Incense as a daily necessity product for the Balinese Hindu community, is a prospective business opportunity to be developed. Understanding the limitations of the people with disabilities, the accompanying method provided is the plasma system. As adopted Law No. 9 of 1995, this assistance was provided with an understanding of the conditions of the community, that's why, the directive approach is applied to community service activities. In its application, a directive approach is applied by adopting a plasma core pattern. Through the plasma method, the community is given technical guidance on production to be able to produce the expected number of products, both quality and quantity, it is about 20 kilograms per day.Key words: Bengkala Village, business, disability, group, insence

Abstract

Penelitian This research was conducted in order to understand a form of education that is based on the needs of the community through the use of a variety of capital that can be used in the development of tourism in Buleleng. This study uses ethnographic approach which is a culturalist approach and its emphasis on people's lives. This approach is used considering the culture comes from the community and maintained and implemented by the community. Data in this study were collected through observation and interviews. Moreover carried out literature to books, previous studies and articles that have relevance to the case examined in this study. The data processing is done qualitative descriptive narrative presented. In this case, the existence of regional capitals in Buleleng are very interesting to be known, understood and analyzed in depth in order to produce a model of sustainable tourism. The development of an area into a tourist attraction is not an easy matter. However, the government can work together with local communities to develop the existing tourism in the area, where the first step can be done by utilizing local labor in the area and to synergy between the needs of the community with programs implemented so that the common goal of improving the quality of tourism and social welfare can be achieved.Keywords: an alternative  , education, tourism

Abstract

The presence of increasingly sophisticated information technology has implications for the emergence of various innovations and creativity, by utilizing the development of information technology. One that is growing rapidly during the pandemic is a virtual tour, as a substitute for a tour to a place directly, which is brought to a screen using either a laptop, PC or mobile phone. Sidatapa Village, as one of the tourist villages in Buleleng Regency, has recently developed tourism products, one of which is a tour to get to know the culture in the village, experiencing obstacles due to the social restrictions. Tourists cannot visit the village directly and get to know the culture in the ancient village. Seeing the trend of virtual tours that are well developed in Indonesia, in this community service program, tourism community group who act as tour guides are given virtual tour training. Sidatapa village is unique, namely as the village of Bali Aga and has an old house called Bale Tumpang Salu, as well as ancient cultural activities which are still preserved until now, has the potential to develop a virtual tour. In village mentoring activities, tourism awareness groups are given virtual tour training involving the role of the industry, namely the Trex Tour. Through training and mentoring provided by academics and industry, the tourism awareness group of Sidatapa Village was able to design and carry out virtual tours. ==== Kehadiran teknologi informasi yang semakin canggih berimplikasi pada munculnya berbagai inovasi dan kreativitas, dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan dari teknologi informasi tersebut. Salah satu yang sedang berkembang pesat pada masa pandemik adalah virtual tour sebagai pengganti perjalanan wisata ke suatu tempat secara langsung, yang dibawa ke dalam sebuah layar baik menggunakan device berupa laptop, PC, maupun mobile phone. Desa Sidatapa sebagai salah satu desa wisata di Kabupaten Buleleng yang baru saja mengembangkan produk wisata, salah satunya beriwisata mengenal budaya di desa tersebut, mengalami hambatan yang disebabkan oleh pembatasan sosial. Wisatawan tidak dapat berkunjung langsung ke desa tersebut dan mengenal budaya di desa tua tersebut. Melihat tren virtual tour yang berkembang baik di Indonesia maka pada program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, kelompok desa wisata yang berperan sebagai pemandu wisata diberikan pelatihan virtual tour. Desa Sidatapa memiliki keunikan, yakni sebagai desa Bali Aga, memiliki rumah tua yang disebut Bale Tumpang Salu, serta aktivitas budaya kuno yang hingga saat ini masih dipertahankan berpotensi untuk mengembangkan virtual tour. Pada kegiatan pendampingan desa, kelompok sadar wisata diberikan pelatihan virtual tour dengan melibatkan peran industri, yakni Trex Tour. Melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan yang diberikan oleh pihak akademisi dan industri, kelompok sadar wisata Desa Sidatapa mampu merancang dan melaksanakan virtual tour.

Abstract

Tersedianya informasi yang berbasis teknologi saat ini merupakan tuntutan bagi berbagai pelaku usaha pariwisata, termasuk desa wisata. Dalam hal ini informasi pariwisata yang baik, terpercaya dan terbaharukan sangat dibutuhkan agar sebuah destinasi wisata mampu diketahui dan dikenal dengan baik, khususnya bagi wisatawan. Profil desa wisata yang merupakan gambaran menyeluruh tentang karakter desa dan jenis kepariwisataan yang dikembangkan di suatu desa sangat penting untuk disusun dan diketahui oleh pihak masyarakat yang terlibat di dalam pengembangan desanya sebagai desa wisata, serta dipublikasikan kepada pihak yang akan berkontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan pariwisata di desa tersebut. Desa Sudaji yang telah mengembangkan dirinya sebagai desa wisata, belum memiliki data profil desa wisata yang dibutuhkan untuk menginventarisasi data desanya, baik sumber daya manusia, sumber daya alam, sumber daya budaya, prasarana pariwisata, dan sarana pariwisata. Data tersebut sangat penting untuk tahap pengembangan selanjutnya, agar kegiatan pariwisata dapat dilakukan secara bertahap, terkoordinasi dan berkelanjutan. Pada kegiatan pengabdian ini, penyusunan profil desa wisata yang dilakukan secara manual, dimasukkan ke dalam sistem teknologi dengan tujuan untuk mempermudah akses informasi oleh pihak yang membutuhkan data untuk pembangunan dan pengembangan desa, khususnya Desa Sudaji. Diharapkan dengan tersedianya profil desa wisata di Desa Sudaji secara lengkap, valid dan selalu terbaharui dapat berguna untuk kemajuan desa wisata yang dikembangkan di desa tersebut. Kata Kunci: Pariwisata, Pedesaan, Profil, Desa Sudaji

Abstract

The Indonesian government considers the tourism sector as one of the high contributors to the national economy. As one of them that supports tourism, especially talk about Tourism Villages, is the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) through a program released recently about ADWI 2022. Julah Tourism Village is one of the highlights that should be developed in the future as sustainable tourism. This research uses qualitative research by primary and secondary data in Julah Village. In primary data, data collection is through direct observation and interviews, while secondary data is collected through several studies, articles, and related literature. In this study, it was found that the development of sustainable tourism was not optimal. So far, tourism potential has been highly conserved but along with modernization and globalization, this can trigger the erosion of tourism potential which has an impact on unsustainability. Therefore, it is necessary to improve tourism development strategies towards sustainable tourism. Keywords: julah, optimization, sustainable tourism.

Abstract

This research aims to understand and explain how significant the women’s role in the hotel industry. It is an advanced study which is explores ore from the previous one discussing the women acceptability in the hotel industry in Indonesia, particularly in Bali, with their varied educational background. In fact, this study found that women have significant role in increasing the hotel income through divisions of front office, food and beverage service, and sales. This research was approached qualitatively by conducting depth interviews based on the data that were obtained in 2018 and 2019. As a result, the women in this case tend to have so more hospitality skill that guests feel more comfortable to communicate with them. In addition, the women are also more capable to manage their heart-feeling and to put themselves well according to situations they are in. This capability is then able to persuade the hotel guests to come to the hotels and to have the services. It finally impacts the increasing hotel revenue.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the policy of shifting structural to functional positions and to compare employee job satisfaction in structural and functional positions in the Buleleng Regency Government. The total population in this study were 308 echelon III and IV employees who were affected by the transfer of positions and the number of samples was 174 employees who were determined by purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used a mixed method approach through qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the implementation of the policy of shifting positions from structural to functional in the Buleleng Regency Government was one of the changes in the organization that occurred because of the rules/policies from the center with the aim of improving public services. This transfer of position will change the organizational structure and affect the career, mindset and job satisfaction of Civil Servants (PNS) but the implementation of this transfer is still not optimal because there are still obstacles faced, such as the process and procedures for assessing credit scores for promotions that do not exist. clarity. Based on the results of quantitative analysis with descriptive statistics that the perception of civil servants is higher in structural positions than in functional positions because civil servants feel a high level of job satisfaction while still occupying structural positions compared to after being transferred to functional positions. There is a significant difference in the job satisfaction of civil servants before the transfer of positions (structural) and job satisfaction of civil servants after the transfer of positions (functional). Job satisfaction in structural positions is greater than after being transferred to functional positions with dominant indicators shown by promotion, competence and income/salary.

Abstract

This study is aimed at understanding the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program which is still applying in Buleleng regency, in order to explore the company’s perception regarding the plan of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) integration with regional development plan in Buleleng regency and arranging a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). This study uses a qualitative method with study subjects including company and the corporate social and environmental responsibility Facilitation team of Buleleng regency. The study’s results show that (1) CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program which has been applying so far in Buleleng regency has encountered several obstacles such as the data form and activity administration. (2) The company perception of integration plan shows that the company supports the plan in general as long as it continues to adopt the company’s business interests. (3) The form of integration expected by the company can be carried out at the planning and implementation stages of activity. (4) The priority areas that planned to receive CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) founding, they are must be the areas which is in line with goals and objectives of the Buleleng regency local government plan. (5) The Strategic Plan for Integration of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) with regional development plan is described in the strategy for implementing activities and in the form of activity proposals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of waste management organized by the Buleleng Regency Environmental Service and to explore information related to problems that occur in the implementation of waste management, especially source-based waste management organized by the Buleleng Regency Environmental Service. This study uses descriptive qualitative analysis as a research methodology. The data collected was obtained through observation of documents and reports, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions. Observation of data and reports, in-depth interviews and focus group discussions were conducted to obtain data related to waste management at the Buleleng Regency Environmental Service with sources namely officials Structural and Environmental Extension Officer at the Buleleng Regency Environmental Service. The results showed that the general waste management and source-based waste management organized by the Buleleng Regency Environmental Service were not optimal, both in terms of waste reduction and handling activities. The researcher found that from the waste balance report compiled every semester from 2019 to 2021, there was a gap between the achievements and the targets set in the Strategic Policy for the Management of Household Waste and Waste Similar to Household Waste (Jakstrada). Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Lemukih, Kecamatan Sawan, Kabupaten Buleleng. Dengan rumusan masalah tentang pesona alam yang terdapat di desa Lemukih, kendala dalam promosinya, serta strategi promosi pesona alam Desa Lemukih dengan media digitalisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang akan menghasilkan data berupa penjelasan secara deskripsi. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara untuk mengetahui pesona alam Desa Lemukih, Kendala promosinya, serta Strategi promosi berbasis media digitalisasi, observasi guna mengetahui potensi pesona alam untuk mendukung data yang diperoleh dari narasumber, dan dokumentasi untuk mendukung data secara visual. Narasumber yang diambil adalah kepala desa Desa Lemukih dan juga ketua unsur pariwisata (Pokdarwis) Desa Lemukih juga didukung dengan observasi dan dokumentasi sehingga menghasilkan data yang aktual dan faktual. Hasil dari penelitian ini yang pertama yaitu dijabarkannya pesona alam yang ada di Desa Lemukih, kedua diketahui kendala dalam promosinya, dan ketiga strategi promosi pesona alam berbasis media digitalisasi.
