Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the level of self-esteem of students before and after the treatment of the Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) technique and to determine the effect of the REBT technique on students' self-esteem. This study used a pre-experimental study method with the one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were 10 students of class XI at SMAN 1 Palopo for the academic year 2021/2022, which were determined by purposive sampling technique. Data collection was obtained using observation and the Self Esteem scale. The results showed that the level of self-esteem of students before being given treatment was in the low category, and after being given treatment was in the high category, and the REBT technique had a positive effect on students' self-esteem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perencanaan kariEr serta pengaruh layanan informasi kariEr berbasis hypermedia terhadap perencanaan karier siswa kelas XI IIS di SMA e menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif pre eksperimen One Group Pretest Posttest design. Siswa kelas XI IIS sebanyak 32 siswa dipilih sebagai sampel menggunakan teknik sampling kuota. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, interview serta angket, adapun analisis data menggunakan analisis data deskriptif. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan nilai, nilai mean pada pretes sebesar 101,03 dan postes mengalami peningkatan 113,06. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji T dengan nilai sig 0,000<0,05  yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh layanan informasi karier berbasis hypermedia terhadap perecanaan karier siswa serta bisa digunakan sebagai alternatif media layanan informasi karier. Abstract

The research objective is to determine the correlation between coordination, motivation, and anxiety towards the shooting performance of soccer players in SSB IPJ Kota Palopo. The research method used is a descriptive study with correlational nature. The population in this research consists of soccer athletes from SSB IPJ Kota Palopo. The sampling technique employed is purposive sampling with specific considerations by the researcher, involving a total of 20 soccer athletes as participants in the study. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 23.The research results indicate that the coordination variable has a calculated t-score of 4.504, while the critical t-score (t-table) is 2.119. Since the calculated t-score is greater than the critical t-score (t-calculated > t-table), it can be concluded that coordination has a significant influence on shooting performance. Similarly, the motivation variable has a calculated t-score of 4.946, exceeding the critical t-score of 2.119, leading to the conclusion that motivation significantly affects shooting performance. Likewise, the anxiety variable has a calculated t-score of 5.032, which surpasses the critical t-score of 2.119, indicating that anxiety also has a significant impact on shooting performance. From the data analysis, an F-count value of 23.418 and a significance value (sig.) of 0.000 are obtained. Since the F-count value (23.418) is greater than the critical F-value (2.119), and the significance value is less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), H1 is accepted. This implies that collectively, coordination, motivation, and anxiety have a statistically significant impact on shooting performance. With an R-value of 0.902, it can be concluded that the ability of the independent variables to explain the variation in the dependent variable is sufficiently strong.v

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of progressive relaxation techniques on the anxiety of Bua Raga Fc sepak takraw athletes. This research used Pretest-Posttest Design; giving a pretest before treatment, and a posttest afterward in the experimental group. The population in this study is all 15 Bua Raga Fc sepak takraw athletes. The sample is 15 Bua Raga Fc sepak takraw athletes. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling where all members of the population are sampled in this research. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire or questionnaire which uses an anxiety test instrument by (Tangkudung, 2018). Research data was analyzed descriptively, testing requirements; data normality and homogeneity tests, paired sample t-test. according to the significant levelα= 0.05. The results of the study show that there is a significant influence of progressive relaxation techniques on the anxiety of Bua Raga Fc sepak takraw athletes, with a t = calculated value of 17.905, this value is bigger than t = table 2.131 or t= count of 17.905 > t=table 2.131 and the result is sig. (2-tailed) which is 0.000 < 0.05. The average pretest anxiety score is 51.27 and the average posttest anxiety score is 40.67, there is a difference between groups of 10.6. The conclusion is that there is a decrease in athlete anxiety after being given progressive relaxation techniques. Thus, the progressive muscle relaxation technique is effective in reducing anxiety in Bua Raga Fc sepak takraw athletes.

Abstract

Pendidikan yang berkualitas tidak hanya bergantung pada kurikulum yang baik, tetapi juga pada dukungan yang diberikan kepada siswa, salah satunya melalui layanan bimbingan belajar. Hubungan antara layanan bimbingan belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa menjadi semakin penting, mengingat peran motivasi dalam mencapai hasil belajar yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara layanan bimbingan belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 11 LUWU. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain analisis deskriptif korelasional, teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik purposive sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 120  siswa kelas X dan XI dan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 83 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala likert.  Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket dan dianalisis dengan SPSS 25.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan bimbingan belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa berada pada tingkat yang tinggi. Analisis korelasi Pearson mengungkapkan hubungan positif yang sangat kuat dan signifikan antara layanan bimbingan belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa (r = 0,932, p < 0,05). Temuan ini pentingnya layanan bimbingan belajar sebagai instrumen kunci dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini mendukung investasi berkelanjutan dalam pengembangan dan peningkatan kualitas layanan bimbingan belajar di sekolah sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan potensi keberhasilan akademik siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku membolos siswa, faktor yang mempengaruhinya, dan strategi penanganan yang dilakukan oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK) di SMAN 9 Luwu Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman dengan tahap reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dua siswa sering terlambat dan tidak mengikuti mata pelajaran pertama akibat kurangnya kontrol diri dan pengaruh negatif teman sebaya. Selain itu, kurangnya pengawasan orang tua juga berperan penting. Guru BK menerapkan teknik kontrak perilaku dalam pendekatan behavioristik sebagai strategi penanganan. Intervensi ini berhasil mengurangi frekuensi membolos, yang dibuktikan dengan peningkatan kehadiran dan prestasi siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa teknik kontrak perilaku efektif dan dapat diadaptasi di sekolah lain untuk menangani perilaku serupa.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of a behavioral approach using behavior contract techniques and self-management on the consumptive behavior of students at Muhammadiyah University Palopo. High consumer behavior among students is often influenced by various factors, including a lack of financial awareness and self-management. In this study, a behavioral approach is used to design interventions in the form of behavior contracts and self-management techniques as methods to reduce uncontrolled consumer behavior. The research method applied is an experiment with a Pre Experimental Design approach. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring the frequency and intensity of consumptive behavior before and after the intervention. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of behavioral contracts and self-management techniques has a significant impact on reducing students consumptive behavior. The decline is indicated by a positive change in students spending patterns. These findings suggest that a behavioral approach, which includes behavior contracts and self-management, is effective in helping students manage their consumer behavior. This can be applied as an intervention strategy in educational settings to promote better financial literacy and self-management.

Abstract

Background: Islamic education within the family is the primary foundation in shaping children's character and religious values. Amidst complex social and cultural challenges, women’s organizations such as Aisyiyah hold great potential in supporting family education based on Islamic principles. However, the strategic role of Aisyiyah in this context has not been thoroughly studied, especially at the local level, such as in Palopo City. Research Objectives: This study aims to analyze the role of the Aisyiyah organization in developing Islamic education within families in Palopo City, with a focus on implemented programs, family involvement strategies, and their impact on strengthening Islamic values in household life. Methods: This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach using a phenomenological design. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews with Aisyiyah administrators and family members, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing with triangulation validation. Results: Findings indicate that Aisyiyah plays an active role in Islamic family education through religious activities, Islamic parenting training, and the empowerment of housewives as primary educators. Formal programs such as TK Bustanul Athfal and non-formal activities such as family religious gatherings help increase collective awareness and create a domino effect within the community. The involvement of both parents, including fathers, signifies the success of Aisyiyah’s inclusive approach. Conclusions: Aisyiyah makes a significant contribution in forming religious and resilient families through a community-based Islamic education approach. The practical implications of this study highlight the importance of synergy between religious organizations and educational institutions in reinforcing family spiritual resilience. Further research is recommended to explore replication models in other regions and to adopt quantitative approaches for broader impact measurement.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of group counseling services using cognitive defusion techniques in improving self-confidence among introverted students at SMAN 2 LUWU and to identify the differences in their self-confidence before and after the intervention. This quasi-experimental study used a one-group pre-test and post-test design to measure the level of self-confidence before and after the intervention. The sample was selected through purposive sampling and consisted of six students from class XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2 who were identified as having low self-confidence. Data were collected using a self-confidence questionnaire, an interview, and observation. The results show that group counseling employing cognitive defusion techniques is effective in enhancing the self-confidence of introverted students, as demonstrated by the significant improvement in scores from the pre-test to the post-test (mean score before = 41.67; after = 94.17; improvement = 52.5). Furthermore, the paired sample T-test revealed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference. Thus, the study confirms the hypothesis (H1) that group counseling with cognitive defusion techniques can significantly improve the self-confidence of introverted students. _____________________________________________________________Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik cognitive defusion dalam meningkatkan self-confidence pada siswa introvert di SMAN 2 Luwu. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kepercayaan diri siswa introvert yang ditandai dengan keraguan dalam bertanya dan menjawab di kelas, ketakutan mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, serta minimnya partisipasi sosial. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experiment tipe one group pretest-posttest. Sampel terdiri dari enam siswa kelas XI IPS 1 dan XI IPS 2 yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi angket skala self-confidence, wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik cognitive defusion efektif dalam meningkatkan self-confidence. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan rata-rata skor self-confidence dari 41,67 pada pre-test menjadi 94,17 pada post-test, dengan kenaikan sebesar 52,5. Uji Paired Sample T-Test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 ≤ 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Dengan demikian, hipotesis H1 diterima dan layanan yang diberikan terbukti efektif.

Abstract

This research was conducted to evaluate Marital Interaction Value-Based Counseling as A Strategy To Build Muslim Family Resilience (Case Study In Palopo City). Using a descriptive qualitative approach, in-depth interviews were conducted with five married couples aged 25-45 years to explore their experiences and perceptions related to relational values ​​that support resilient family functioning. Thematic analysis identified six main dimensions, namely: commitment, empathy, effective communication, trust, emotional support, and acceptance. These themes reflect key processes in the Family Resilience Framework and are in line with the principles of constructive marital communication. These findings indicate that the integration of marital values ​​into structured counseling is relevant and effective in increasing the adaptive capacity of couples. In addition, it is perceived as an acceptable, applicable, and beneficial intervention. This study contributes to the development of contextual and family resilience-based counseling interventions, and offers practical implications for counselors in Family and Marriage Counseling Service settings.
