Abstract

Each scientific paper contains references that can be used as a means of accountability for the author. Therefore, references are things that must be considered in writing scientific papers. The purpose of this study is to provide an example and demonstrate an easy way to cite and search for references from Google Scholar. The research method used is an experiment method with a literature study. An internet connection is required to open the Google Scholar search engine. The steps of this research consist of looking for articles in journals, getting citations, and building reference styles. There are several reference styles used in writing scientific papers, such as APA, MLA, Vancouver, Harvard, Chicago/Turabian, and IEEE styles. We identified that Google Scholar can be used as a tool that can assist in finding writing sources. Even though it requires an internet connection, Google Scholar makes it easy for writers to choose the reference style to use by using the "cite" button.

Abstract

A significance test is a test that can determine whether a research hypothesis is accepted or not. Therefore, significance tests need to be carried out, especially for researchers who will conduct research related to hypothesis testing. This research discusses publication trends regarding significance tests. This research aims to analyze research trends regarding statistical significance tests using bibliometric analysis methods assisted by mapping analysis. Bibliometric analysis methods and mapping analysis with VOSviewer were used in this research. The data source was taken from the Google Scholar database in the period 2013 - 2023. The total number of documents found during the last 10 years was 1000 documents. Based on the research results, it was found that the number of publications regarding statistical significance tests has decreased every year. From a total of 281 documents in 2013 to 7 documents in 2023. The results of article data mapping produce three forms of visualization, namely network, overlay, and density visualization. The mapping results show that research on statistics still needs to be carried out, especially regarding significance tests. This research concluded that the trend of research discussing statistical significance tests is decreasing, although, in terms of its use, it is still very important, especially in processing quantitative research data.

Abstract

During the pandemic, online learning may be rampant, which is required by the government. Not a few students and teachers have difficulty using technology in this digital era, especially when collecting assignments. Therefore, we try to introduce the Google Classroom application with the aim of supporting online learning. With quantitative data collection methods, in the form of pre-test and post-test targeting elementary school students. The implementation of the training program is to provide videos in the form of material, so that students can observe, understand and practice it. Pretest results showed 95% and post-test 100%. From these results, students experienced an increase in learning. This is because students are given training before filling out the post-test. It can be concluded that, students agree about the existence of distance learning using Google Classroom. Because this application helps elementary students in collecting assignments.
