Abstract

Literary works are a medium that utilizes language to express human life. The meaning of literary works (poetry, short stories, novels) is not only determined by the structure itself but also the author's background, environment, socio-cultural, political, economic and psychological background. This study aims to analyze the structure of the novel Kita Juga Muda untuk Jatuh Cinta by Aiu Ahra and its implications for learning in schools. This study uses a qualitative approach method. This study carried out 4 stages in analyzing data, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or data verification. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the theme contained in the novel Kita Juga Muda untuk Jatuh Cinta by Aiu is Islamic teenagers.

Abstract

The animated film Jumbo (2025) conveys strong moral messages on social issues such as bullying, self-esteem, and the importance of social and familial support. This study aims to analyze the moral messages in the film using Bandura’s Social Learning Theory, focusing on the four key concepts: observation, imitation, reinforcement, and cognitive evaluation. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to explore and describe the moral meanings taught through the character Don, who faces bullying and other social challenges. The research findings show that the film effectively portrays how Don learns values such as anti-bullying, integrity, empathy, moral courage, and cooperation through social interactions and observing the behaviors of those around him. In conclusion, Jumbo functions not only as entertainment but also as an effective educational medium for teaching moral values to teenagers and can contribute to character education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study analyzes the character values and personality dynamics of the main characters in J.S. Khairen's novel Melangkah through Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic approach, specifically the id, ego, and superego structures. A descriptive qualitative research method with content analysis was applied to examine text excerpts representing the behavior, dialogue, and internal conflicts of the characters, namely Runa, Aura, Siti, Arif, and Ocha. The research findings indicate that each character undergoes unique personality development, influenced by the interplay between instinctual drives (id), rational considerations (ego), and moral consciousness (superego). For example, Runa illustrates a transition from impulsivity (id) to self-control (superego), while Siti and Ocha are more dominated by the ego, emphasizing realistic adaptation. Character values such as perseverance, courage, and politeness are identified as key elements that shape the characters' identities while driving the plot. This study contributes theoretically to literary psychology research and practically to the development of multidimensional fictional character writing. Implicitly, these findings can serve as a reference for educators in utilizing literature as a medium for contextual character education.

Abstract

Kemampuan manajemen diri penting dimiliki oleh peserta didik di sekolah. Keterampilan manajemen diri melibatkan pengaturan diri, memperkuat identitas dirinya, pengelolaan waktu, pengaturan tujuan, pengelolaan tugas, pengelolaan emosi, dan pengembangan kemandirian. Menguasai keterampilan manajemen diri mendorong peserta didik untuk mengoptimalkan waktu, pengaturan diri yang efektif, mampu menghadapi tantangan dengan tenang, pengelolaan hubungan sosial yang baik, dan mencapai tujuan/cita-cita yang ditetapkannya. Penting sekali bagi orang dewasa terutama orangtua, guru, dan guru bimbingan konseling untuk memberikan dukungan berupa pengembangan manajemen diri peserta didik selama masa pubertas mereka. Dukungan yang bisa diberikan kepada peserta didik melalui kegiatan layanan bimbingan dan konseling dengan strategi bimbingan klasikal berupa sosialisasi kepada peserta didik tentang pentingnya pengembangan keterampilan manajemen diri melalui literasi digital biografi tokoh inspiratif. Literasi digital biografi tokoh inspiratif diharapkan dapat mendorong peserta didik terinspirasi dan mengembangkan keterampilan menajemen diri yang lebih efektif. Kegiatan ini mendorong peserta didik mengikuti tahapan kegiatan bimbingan klasikal dengan mempelajari penjalanan kehidupan tokoh, cara tokoh menghadapi dan mengatasi tantangan, mencapai tujuan dengan disiplin dan motivasi yang dimiliki tokoh untuk mencapai tujuan kegiatan untuk mengaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Mereka akan mengembangkan keterampilan literasi digital yang penting dalam era informasi dan mampu mengambil inspirasi dari tokoh-tokoh inspiratif untuk mencapai kesuksesan pribadi dan akademik.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat yang berjudul "Meningkatkan Motivasi Siswa Pondok Tahfidz Layar Dakwah melalui Keterampilan Merajut sebagai Alat Penguatan Mental dan Emosi" bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi, keterampilan, kesejahteraan mental, dan emosional siswa di Pondok Tahfidz Layar Dakwah. Program ini berfokus pada pengajaran keterampilan merajut. Keterampilan merajut memiliki potensi untuk menjadi alat terapi yang efektif dalam mengelola stres, meningkatkan konsentrasi, dan memperkuat rasa pencapaian diri. Keterampilan merajut juga diharapkan dapat menjadi sarana kreatif bagi para siswa dalam mengekspresikan diri, yang pada gilirannya dapat meningkatkan motivasi mereka dalam belajar dan menghafal Al-Quran. Pelaksanaan program melibatkan sesi pelatihan intensif yang dibagi dalam beberapa tahap: pengenalan dasar-dasar merajut, praktek merajut, serta aplikasi keterampilan merajut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu, program ini juga mengintegrasikan diskusi, refleksi terkait pentingnya keseimbangan mental, dan emosional dalam menjalani kehidupan di pondok tahfidz. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam motivasi siswa, yang terlihat dari peningkatan konsentrasi dan semangat mereka dalam menghafal Al-Quran. Selain itu, siswa juga menunjukkan perkembangan dalam keterampilan merajut yang telah mereka pelajari. Program ini berhasil memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan mental dan emosional siswa, serta memberikan mereka alat baru untuk mengelola stres dan emosi.Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini tidak hanya memberikan manfaat langsung kepada siswa dalam bentuk keterampilan praktis, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pengembangan pribadi yang lebih holistik. Rekomendasi ke depan adalah untuk melanjutkan program ini dengan penambahan variasi keterampilan lain yang relevan serta pengukuran dampak jangka panjangnya terhadap perkembangan mental dan emosional siswa.

Abstract

Latah is a language disorder that we often encounter in the midst of society and is generally suffered by women by imitating someone's words or actions that are carried out by sufferers spontaneously or suddenly. Talkative behavior is a unique and interesting behavior to be discussed and studied in depth due to the fact that this type of language disorder is often found in the surrounding environment and has even become entertainment for people who like to surprise talkative sufferers. So that the goal in this discussion is to determine and describe speech types of talkative speech sourced from data sources and the factors that cause sufferers to experience speech disorders. This research used a descriptive qualitative research type and the data obtained was obtained or sourced from the speech of the research informant (subject). The locations in this study were Jalan Benteng Hilir, Medan Tembung District and Jalan Gurilla, Medan Perjuangan District, Medan City. The listening method, note-taking technique, and recording technique are ways to obtain data from sources which are then analyzed. The results of the study can be concluded that the language disorder experienced by subject I was talkative, while subject 2 experienced speech talk, echolalia, koprolalia, Automatic obedience and the causal factor was due to conditioning (environmental factors) which influenced them to experience speech talk.

Abstract

The fire incident resulted in the destruction of land documents. As happened at the Brebes BPN Office, the fire disaster caused damage to the 2023 Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) certificate which was ready to be submitted, approximately 6000 files were being worked on. The impact of the fire at the Brebes BPN Office will cause land services to be hampered and the escalation of land conflict disputes to increase. The purpose of this study was to determine the legal protection for land rights owners in the name change process after the Brebes Regency Land Office burned down and the efforts of the land office for land rights owners. This research is an empirical research. In terms of the type of data, the research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. This study uses primary data types and sources supported by secondary data. The data analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the study stated that legal protection for landowners after the Brebes Land Office fire involved the restoration of certificates and land books by the BPN based on Perkaban Number 6 of 2010. The name change process can be assisted by a legal expert or notary, with the landowner including important documents and coordinating with related parties. The Brebes Land Office carried out land certificate data recovery after the fire, although the negative land registration system has weaknesses. Recovery follows the Head of Agency Regulation Number 6 of 2010 concerning disaster management and the return of community rights to land assets in disaster areas.Keywords: Land; Protection; Rights.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises located in the Bintan Island area mostly do not have or are unable to prepare simple financial reports, even though the role of simple financial records is very important in an MSME business unit, because having financial records certainly makes it easier for businesses to monitor income and expenses in the business and what kind of selling price must be set so that the business makes a profit.The factor that causes difficulty in preparing simple financial reports for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is the absence of a clear economic entity. This happens because most MSMEs are unable to differentiate between business activities and personal activities, so company assets are recognized as personal property and vice versa. From this statement, it is difficult to clearly identify the economic entity.This research was conducted at the UMKM "Abon Ikan" on October 28 2023, located in Sebong Pereh Village, Bintan Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The research results show that in Sebong Pereh Village there are Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that are building fish floss businesses, but in carrying out their business activities there is no recording system in any form. So after we teach about preparing simple financial reports and calculating COGS, it really helps Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) because it can help MSMEs to see the financial condition of their business and obtain the maximum level of profit. Apart from that, this can also help business owners to know the amount of expenses and income that are more neatly arranged and business owners can find out the amount of profit earned every month.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) learning model based on the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) framework on improving students' cultural literacy. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design model. The research subjects consisted of 65 students, 33 students each from SMP Negeri 23 Medan and 32 students from MTs Miftahussalam Medan. The experimental group was taught using the TPACK integrated RADEC model, while the control group used conventional lecture-based methods. Data was obtained through a cultural literacy test in the form of writing expository texts about local cultural values. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS 27 through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and independent sample t-tests. The results showed a significant increase in the cultural literacy ability of the experimental group compared to the control group. At SMP Negeri 23 Medan, the experimental group obtained an average posttest score of 87.12 compared to 61.36 in the control group. Meanwhile, at MTs Miftahussalam Medan, the average posttest of the experimental group reached 84.38 compared to 61.25 in the control group. These findings prove that the application of the TPACK-based RADEC model is effective in increasing student engagement and deepening their understanding of local culture through expository writing. The results of this study have practical implications for educators in designing technology-based learning that is contextual with local culture to strengthen the competencies of 21st century students.
