Abstract

Teacher well-being has emerged as a strategic issue in sustaining educational quality amid increasing professional demands and ongoing educational reforms. This study aims to analyze the synergistic roles of school culture, academic supervision, and work discipline in fostering teacher well-being through a library research approach. Data were collected from reputable national and international journal articles, educational policy documents, and scholarly books published within the last decade. The analysis employed content analysis and comparative analysis to synthesize theoretical perspectives and empirical findings. The results indicate that a supportive school culture contributes to psychological safety and social support, which function as protective factors against stress and burnout. Transformative clinical academic supervision enhances teachers’ self-efficacy, professional satisfaction, and motivation through reflective and collaborative practices. Meanwhile, integrity-based work discipline provides role clarity and organizational stability that support emotional balance. The synergy of these three elements forms an integrative managerial ecosystem that promotes sustainable teacher well-being. This study offers a conceptual framework that positions teacher well-being as a systemic organizational outcome rather than merely an individual condition.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to explore the necessity for designing a classical guidance model utilizing the joyful podcast method to foster self-confidence among junior high school students. This study was conducted using a research and development approach, with emphasis placed on the preliminary stage of needs analysis. The research population included seventh-grade students, guidance counselors, and homeroom teachers at a state junior high school in Brebes, and the sample was selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques comprised questionnaires and interviews, while the analysis was carried out using descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The findings indicated that students often struggle with low self-confidence in both academic and interpersonal contexts, and the existing classical guidance services tend to be seen as unvaried and less stimulating. Respondents generally welcomed the idea of integrating more enjoyable and media-rich tools into the guidance process. These insights support the appropriateness of the joyful podcast as a medium for enhancing the effectiveness of classical guidance sessions. It was concluded that developing a guidance model incorporating the joyful podcast approach is both relevant and potentially beneficial in improving student self-confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a classical guidance service model that integrates traditional board game media to reduce bullying behavior among seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung, Brebes. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which was intentionally limited to the Analysis, Design, and Development stages. The Implementation and Evaluation phases were not fully conducted, as the primary focus of the study was on the initial formulation and early development of the guidance service model. Therefore, a comprehensive evaluation of the product’s effectiveness is recommended for future research. A total of 32 seventh-grade students participated as research subjects. Data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, and questionnaires. The data analysis combined qualitative and quantitative approaches to identify students’ needs related to the developed guidance services. The findings indicate that the integration of traditional board games into classical guidance services contributes significantly to reducing bullying behavior and fostering a more positive and supportive learning environment

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of meaningful learning in improving fifth-grade students' conceptual understanding of mathematics at Dabin Werkudara Elementary School, Bumijawa District, Tegal Regency. The research approach used was a qualitative case study method involving five elementary schools: Dukuhbenda 01 Elementary School, Dukuhbenda 02 Elementary School, Dukuhbenda 04 Elementary School, Muncanglarang 02 Elementary School, and Sigedong 02 Elementary School. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and students, as well as direct observation during the learning process. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model that included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that meaningful learning helps students connect mathematical concepts with real-world experiences, thereby enhancing conceptual understanding and learning motivation. Teachers play a crucial role in creating a contextual learning environment through the use of concrete media, discussions, and collaborative activities.

Abstract

Implementasi pembelajaran IPAS di tingkat Sekolah Dasar, khususnya di wilayah Sasaran Pengawasan 2 Kecamatan Pemalang, menghadapi tantangan empiris berupa disparitas infrastruktur, kesenjangan kompetensi digital guru dalam merancang aktivitas Discovery Learning, dan kurangnya media yang kontekstual dan interaktif. Merespons permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kelayakan media blog interaktif berbasis model pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan melibatkan validasi oleh ahli desain pembelajaran, ahli materi, dan ahli media. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket validasi skala Likert, sedangkan media pembelajaran dikembangkan menggunakan platform blog interaktif. Analisis validitas data dilakukan menggunakan rumus Aiken’s V untuk menentukan tingkat validitas isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media blog interaktif yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat validitas yang sangat tinggi, dengan nilai rata-rata penilaian ahli berada di atas 4,30 dan nilai Aiken’s V pada rentang 0,80–0,86, sehingga dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan. Media ini dapat diterapkan pada pembelajaran IPAS sekolah dasar untuk mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, baik dalam pembelajaran tatap muka, daring, maupun blended learning, serta sebagai rujukan pengembangan media pembelajaran digital interaktif. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi model Discovery Learning dengan blog interaktif sebagai media utama pembelajaran IPAS sekolah dasar yang divalidasi secara komprehensif dari aspek pedagogis, materi, dan media, sehingga memberikan kontribusi baru terhadap pengembangan media pembelajaran digital yang kontekstual dan bermakna.
