Abstract

Abstract?This study aims to evaluate the performance of the Decision Tree algorithm based on the entropy criterion (C4.5) in classifying student eligibility by considering both academic and non-academic data. The dataset consists of 200 entries with nine attributes, including attendance percentage, number of lateness incidents, disciplinary violations, average academic scores, participation, study hours, and extracurricular activities. Data processing was carried out through several stages, namely cleaning, transformation, feature selection, training and testing data splitting, and model evaluation using a confusion matrix. The experimental results show that the proposed model achieved an accuracy of 87.5%, an average precision of 85.6%, an average recall of 84.2%, and an F1-Score of 84.8%. These findings confirm that the C4.5 algorithm can be effectively applied to support student performance classification with a fairly high level of reliability.

Abstract

Pengamatan: Pelatihan Website Responsif UMKM dengan Flask dan Bootstrap 4.5 di Desa Cimanuk bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan digital pelaku UMKM dalam membangun website yang responsif dan efektif. Metode pelatihan meliputi sesi teori dan praktik, di mana peserta diajarkan cara menggunakan Flask untuk backend dan Bootstrap 4.5 untuk desain frontend. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang pembuatan website yang dapat diakses dengan baik di berbagai perangkat, yang merupakan aspek krusial dalam pemasaran digital saat ini. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu membuat website yang sesuai dengan standar responsif dan memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang teknologi web modern. Selain itu, pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat membantu UMKM di Desa Cimanuk untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar mereka dan meningkatkan visibilitas online mereka, yang pada akhirnya dapat mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

Well-organized village administration is an essential factor in supporting transparency and government effectiveness. However, many villages still face challenges in systematically managing administrative documents. This community service activity aims to provide training to village officials on effective document management. The method used in this activity is practice-based training with a participatory approach. The results of this training show an increase in understanding and skills in village document management. With this assistance, it is expected that village administration will be more structured and accountable.

Abstract

Lampung Robusta coffee is an important commodity in Indonesia, particularly in terms of local economic potential and global recognition. However, public perception of this product on social media, particularly Twitter, remains underexplored. This study addresses the need for a deeper understanding of consumer sentiment towards Lampung Robusta coffee, which could inform branding and marketing strategies. To approach this issue, we used five supervised machine learning algorithms-KNN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Tree, and Logistic Regression-to perform sentiment classification on a dataset of tweets containing relevant keywords. The dataset was pre-processed using standard natural language processing techniques, including tokenization, stopword removal, and TF-IDF feature extraction. The SVM achieved the best performance on the unbalanced dataset for all metrics, with high and consistent accuracy and F1 scores. Logistic regression followed closely with similarly strong and stable results. Therefore, SVM is recommended as the final model. These results suggest that machine learning approaches can effectively classify sentiment in social media discussions about regional agricultural products and that random forest may provide the most robust performance in this context
