Abstract

Banyak perguruan tinggi yang telah mengajarkan konsep dan filosofi manajemen mutu total (TQM), tetapi kontroversi yang menyangkut aplikasinya dalam pendidikan tampaknya belum disentuh dan cukup memanas. Kontroversi ini menyangkut tentang apakah TQM hanya sekedar entusiasme atau sebuah pergeseran paradigma utama. Apalagi saat ini, masa depan kebanyakan perguruan tinggi (PT) sedang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor eksternal seperti tren-tren demografis, teknologi, perubahan ekonomi, dan kompetisi yang intens di antara PT itu sendiri. Jadi, dapat dikatakan bila pendidikan tinggi saat ini berada dalam tekanan untuk berubah yang tak terhindarkan. Dari sisi perusahaan, bisnis-bisnis yang mempekerjakan Jurusan PT mulai cukup vokal dalam menyampaikan ketidakpuasannya atas kualitas lu/usan PT. Sejumlah kesenjangan telah teridentifikasi dalam mutu manajemen pendidikan dan bisnis mengklaim bahwa PT tidak responsif dengan kebutuhan-kebutuhan para pelanggannya. Keluhan yang paling spesifik adalah universitas terlalu menekankan pada keahlian analisis dengan mengorbankan keahlian hubungan manusia. Ketika masih terjadi perdebatan di antara para akademisi tentang apakah manajemen mutu total hanya sekedar antusiasme atau perubahan paradigma, banyak universitas telah menambhakan mata kuliah TQM di dalam kurikulumnya. Akan tetapi, tampaknya antusiasme penerapan TQMdalam manajemen pendidikan universitas masih rendah. Mengingat TQM telah diakui sebagai salah satu pendekatan manajemen yang dapat memperbaiki efisiensi dan kinerja, TQM sekarang dipertimbangkan sebagai suatu solusi terhadap masalah-masalah yang dihadapi institusi-institusi pendidikan tinggi. Lagipula, keberhasilan dalam menerapkan TQM dalam manajemen Jayanan pendidikan tinggi akan menimbulkan dampak pada citra dan reputasi perguruan tinggi tersebut.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test the influences of leadership styleand new technology implementation on role conflictto impactemployee performance. Using these variables, the usage of these variables are able to solve the arising problem within officer Charoen Pokphand Semarang. Statement of this problem is how increase employee performance?.The samples size of this research is 135officerCharoen Pokphand Semarang. Using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Abstract

Cyberloafing is one of the employee's counterproductive behavior by using mobile phone and office internet facility for personal use during working hours. Cyberloafing behavior is caused one of them by the psychological condition of employees, namely burnout. The cause of this burnout is due to role conflict and role overload. If the behavior of cyberloafing continues to be done will hamper the productivity of employees and eventually will have a negative impact on the company. The problem in this research is how to decrease cyberloafing by seeing role conflict, role overload, and burnout. The sample of this study amounted to 150 respondents. Sample determination was done by census technique. Respondents in this research are employees of PT PLN (Persero) Pusat Manajemen Konstruksi Semarang. The analysis tool used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in AMOS 22 program.Based on five hypotheses tested, there are four accepted hypotheses. Role conflict has a significant effect on cyberloafing, role overload has no effect on cyberloafing, role conflict and burnout has a significant effect on burnout, and burnout has a significant effect on cyberloafing. In an effort to decrease the level of cyberloafing, good human resource management is required. Purpose of Human resource management is to avoid role conflict, role overload, and burnout affecting cyberloafing.

Abstract

Technological development in the world makes the competition tighter in the metal cutting industry. With the increasing number of brand choice of 4 inch Metal cutting disc product, it increases the number of choices for people to buy a metal cutting disc at a cheaper price and better quality. The 4 inch WD metal cutting disc product is able to lead the market in Indonesia with the right marketing strategy, so it can increase the customer purchase intention continuously. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of product quality, service quality and perceived price on customer value in increasing purchase intention of the 4 inch WD metal cutting disc product.The object of this research is a purchase decision maker of the 4 inch WD metal cutting disc product in Central Java, especially in the town of Magelang, Kudus and Purwodadi. The research uses a proportional random sampling technique with 155 respondents. A conceptual model is developed for this research with four hypotheses, which will be analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) by AMOS 23 Software.The result of SEM analysis for the full model meets the criteria of goodness of fit. So, it could be said that the model is properly used. The result of this research shows that perceived value will increase by increasing product quality, service quality, and perceived price. Furthermore, increased perceived value will increase purchase intention of the 4 inch WD metal cutting disc product.

Abstract

Promina is a product food baby produced by PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. under the auspices of Indofood Nutrition (for baby food division formerly known as PT Gizindo Prima Nusantara until the merger in 2010). Division of Nutrition & Special Foods was formed to help meet the nutritional needs of children Indonesia, through the provision of nutritious food products for infants and toddlers, as well as nutritious milk drink for pregnant women and nursing mothers.This research was conducted by analyzing the factors that influence purchasing decisions pap Promina with variable influence of marketing communications, brand trust and brand equity. This research by developing a theoretical model by proposing sauatu five hypotheses to be tested usingStructural Equation Model (SEM) as an analytical tool. Respondents of this research is all consumer buyers pap Careffour Promina in South Jakarta which amounted to 150 people.The results of data processing by using SEM to have met the theoretical model Godnessof Fit as follows: Value Chi Square = 255.588; df = 129; p = 5%; Probability = 0,000; GFI = 0.846; AGFI = 0,795; TLI = 0,959; CFI = 0.965; RMSEA = 0.081. The processing results can be stated that the model is feasible to use. The results of this study indicate that purchasing decisions can ditinggkatkan with marketing communications, brand trust and brand equity. Marketing communications and brand equity as well as trust high brand will influence purchasing decisions pap Promina in the Carrefour area of South Jakarta.

Abstract

In the printing business, brokers are experiencing fierce competition. Many problems always face by the broker because in the production, brokers do not use their own resources, but integrate with service providers. The purpose of this research is to test and analyze the relation of the attributes of flexibility, dependence, relationship quality and integration strategies toward the printing brokers performance.The research is done to the 133 respondents, which all of them are printing brokers who do production in the Semarang area. Methods of data collection by using questionnaires. The method of data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 20 software.The results showed that the flexibility and relationships quality had a positive effect on strategy integration. While the dependence does not affect the strategy integration. And the strategy integration variables have a positive effect on the broker performance.

Abstract

Role conflict and role ambiguity that experienced by employees on a company can causing job stress. Job stress experienced by employee can directly effect the high and low of employees organizational commitment. The aim of this research was to examine and analyze the influence of role conflict to job stress, the influence of role ambiguity to job stress, the influence of job stress to organizational commitment, the influence of role conflict to organizational commitment through job stress as intervening variable and the influence of role ambiguity to organizational commitment through job stress as intervening variable.The population in this research was employees at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk. Witel Semarang with total amount of 170 employees by taking the research sample as much as 90 employees using quota sampling technique. Data would be analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis. The data testing technique used path analysis or path analysis,  which  the  path  analysis  includes:  test  validity,  reliability  test,  classical assumption test, T test, F test, coefficient determination test and test sobel to test the mediation effect.Based on the result of this research, the researcher concluded that role conflict and role  ambiguity  had  positive  and  significant  influence  to  job  stress.  Job  stress  had  a negative  and  significant  effect  on  organizational  commitment.  Role  conflict  had  no negative and significant effect on organizational commitment mediated by job stress, whereas   role   ambiguity  had   a   negative   and   significant   effect   on   organizational commitment that was mediated by job stress.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to  define and comprehensively analyze the influence  of  work  family  conflict  and  role  ambiguity  towards  intention  to  quit  by conducting  work  stress  as  the  intervening  variable.  This  research  was  conducted  by passing the questionaires to 50 staffs in Grand Edge Hotel, Semarang.It applied multiple regression as method   analysing the data. In testng the data, validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, and determinant coefficient test, F test, T test, and Test of Sobel were conducted in order to check the mediation effectAs the result, it showed that work family conflict was positively and significanly influenced  work  stress  and  intention  to  quite,  role  ambiguity  was  positively  and significanly influenced work stress and intention to quite. Work stress   was to mediate relation between work family conflict and role ambiguity towards intention to quit.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine, describe and analyze the more influence the quality of teachers to the cohesiveness of the competence of teachers to the quality of the learning organization as an intervening variable. The method of collecting data in this study using questionnaires with respondents 50 teachers, where the respondent is a total population of taechers SMPN 2 Purwodadi. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Mechanical testing of the data in this study using path analysis and Sobel test to test the effect of mediation.The results showed that the quality of cohesiveness teachers have positive and significant impact on the quality of a learning organization. Cohesiveness quality of teachers and the quality of organizational learning has a positive and significant impact on teacher competence. In addition, the quality of organizational learning may mediate the relationship between the quality of teachers to the cohesiveness of teacher competence.

Abstract

The population used in this study are all employees who work in Salatiga Health Office that have worked for at least 2 years. The number of samples used in this study were 185 respondents. The method of data collection is done through a questionnaire. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis techniques using AMOS 20 analysis tools. The results showed that there was a significant and positive relationship between big five personality towards organizational commitment and there were significant and positive influences big five personality towards organization citizenship behavior and organizational commitment to organization citizenship behavior to employees at the Salatiga Health Office.
