Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze further the effect of transformational leadership style, employee motivation, and organizational culture on employee performance. In this study, the researcher uses of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and organizational culture as an independent variables and employee performance as the dependent variable. Methods of data collection in the research that is used is a questionnaire with a sample of 57 permanent employees of PT. BPR Arta Utama Pekalongan (consisting of a central office and four branch offices), in which the research is using a sample of census or using the entire population of employees of PT. BPR Arta Utama. Methods of data analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis.Based on the multiple linear regression that is performed to produce transformational leadership style, it has a positive and significant impacts on employee performance. Meanwhile, work motivation and organizational culture do not affect the performance of employee.

Abstract

The company has the capital resources, one of which employees. The existence of the employees is very important to the survival of a company. Therefore, a company's success is measured by the performance of employees. High employee performance makes the success of the company is also getting higher. Many steps can be done in improving the performance of employees. One of them is to do self-actualization and creating job satisfaction of employees. With the creation of self-actualization and job satisfaction, can increase Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among employees, which then affects their performance. The aim of this study is to describe and analyze the influence of self-actualization and job satisfaction on employee performance with Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as an intervening variable.This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to a sample of 70 permanent employees of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop IV Semarang using random sampling techniques, with the draw. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Mechanical testing data used this study include the path analysis and Sobel test to test the effect of mediation.The results showed that self-actualization positive and significant influence to Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and employee performance, job satisfaction and significant positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and employee performance, and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) positive and significant influence on employee performance. Additionally, Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) capable mediating the relationship between self-actualization and job satisfaction on employee performance.

Abstract

Job stress and existence motivation experienced by the employees in the organization can affect the employees’ job satisfaction. The employees’ job satisfaction can directly affect the fluctuation of employees’ performance. The aim of this research is to examine and analyze the influence of job stress on job satisfaction, the influence of existence motivation on job satisfaction, the influence of job satisfaction on employees’ performance, the influence of job stress on employees’ performance through job satisfaction as intervening variable and the influence of existence motivation on employees’ performance through job satisfaction as intervening variable. The research population was the employees of Dinas Pertanian Perikanan dan Pangan Kabupaten Semarang that number 187 employees, then 90 employees were chosen as the sample of the research by using quota sampling technique. The method of data analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis. The data testing technique used was path analysis. The path analysis included: test validity, reliability test, classical assumption test, T test, F test, coefficient determination test and sobel test to examine the mediation effect.Based on the result of this research, the researcher concludes that the job stress doesn’t negatively and significantly affect the job satisfaction while the existence motivation positively and significantly affects the job satisfaction. The job satisfaction positively and significantly affects the employees’ performance. The job stress doesn’t negatively and significantly affect the employees’ performance if it is mediated by the job satisfaction, whereas the existence motivation positively and significantly affects the employees’ performance mediated by the job satisfaction.

Abstract

Growth motivation organization-based self esteem are related with needs satisfaction issues that was proposed as one of ERG Theory and self concept of oneself in organization therefore it held an important role in forming employee’s organizational commitment in their workplace. this research was designed in aiming the analyses and result implementation while studying the effect of growth motivation towards organizational commitment, the effect of obse towards organizational commitment. The effect of organizational commitment towards employee performances, the effect of growth motivation towards employee performances and obse towards employee performances.Present study used 95 employees of PT.PLN as the sample for the research while the population has 200 employees in total. Kind of technique that was used to do the sampling was quota sampling. Method of analyse in present study was multiple regression linear analysis and also path analysis method that has been proven as one of method that can be used to determine the causality connection among variables. Present study also run validity and reliability testing, classic assumption testing, hypothesis testing with t test , f test and r2test, sobel test was also used  to perform a more reliable result caused by mediation effect.Present study has several results in a form of statements which concludes that growth motivation and obse has a positive and significant effect towards organizational commitment, growth motivation and obse has a positive and significant effect towards employee performances, organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect towards employee performances, there is a mediation effect caused by organizational commitment as the intervening variable in relation betweem growth motivation and employee performances, last there is a mediation effect caused by organizational commitment as intervening variables in define the relation between obse and employee performances.

Abstract

Employee performance is an important element in a company. The performance of good employees are able to make the company achieve its goals. When companies have employee performance is good then the company has a good ability to compete. Various things can be made to improve employee performance. As is the case in this study aimed to analyze whether the workplace spirituality and employee empowerment affect the performance of employees with work motivation (intrinsic) as an intervening variable.This research was conducted with a sample of 124 employees of the distribution of questionnaires Islamic Hospital Sultan Agung Semarang using disproportionate stratified random sampling technique with respondents consisting of staff, head of the section, and manager. The analytical method used is the analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).The results of SEM analysis showed that the workplace spirituality does not have a significant effect on work motivation (intrinsic) but significant positive effect on employee performance, employee empowerment has no significant effect on work motivation (intrinsic) and employee performance, and employee motivation (intrinsic) had no significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

Problems that occur in hospitals Tugurejo Semarang is employee performance of nursing less than the maximum. It is shown from the number of complaints from customers who go into the hospital management Tugurejo Semarang where most complaints are directed at the nursing Tugurejo Hospital Semarang. Less than the maximum employee performance is thought to be caused due to several factors namely participative leadership style, work environment, compensation and organizational culture. This study aimed to analyze the influence of participative leadership style, work environment, compensation and organizational culture on employee performance of nursing Tugurejo Hospital Semarang. The population used in this study were employees Tugurejo Hospital Semarang. The sampling technique used was purposive random sampling. Criteria samples taken were employees Tugurejo Semarang Hospital nursing sections totaling 73 nurses. Methods of data collection in this study using questionnaires and interviews. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis.Based on this research, work environment, compensation and organizational culture influence on employee performance of nursing Tugurejo Hospital Semarang, whereas participative leadership style has no effect on employee performance of nursing Tugurejo Hospital Semarang. Employee performance is able to be explained by the independent variable is the participative leadership style, work environment, compensation, and organizational culture at 86.5%.

Abstract

Intention to quit is one of the most widely researched areas in organizational analysis because the lack of competent employees can negatively impact the organization's competitive advantage. Employees who are less competent can be caused by work family conflict and family work conflict when they work. Imbalances of both roles can cause employees experiencing burnout due to prolonged stress. Continuous burnout conditions can trigger employees to have intention to quit from their work. The aim of this study is to describe and analyze the influence of work family conflict and family work conflict on intention to quit with burnout as an intervening variable.This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to all female employees of PT Telekomunikasi  Indonesia,  Tbk.  Wilayah Semarang  which  amounted  to  46  employees.  Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Mechanical testing data used this study include the path analysis and sobel test to test the effect of mediation.The results showed that work family conflict positive and significant influence to burnout and intention to quit, family work conflict positive and significant influence to burnout and intention to quit, and burnout positive and significant influence on intention to quit. Additionally, burnout capable  mediating the  relationship  between  work family conflict  and family work  conflict  on intention to quit.

Abstract

The success of a company rely to human who carry out the work so that the success of an organization is strongly influenced by the performance of individual employees. BRI Branch Pandanaran Semarang is a company engaged in banking, especially those serving the provision of capital. In the operation of the activity BRI Branch Office Semarang Pandanaran always emphasize to all human resources to achieve good performance. Problems that occur in the PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk. The new branch will Pandanaran today is a decrease in employee performance evaluation of the results of employee performance objectives that are not in accordance with predetermined targets. Allegedly justice will affect the performance of the employee compensation with intrinsic work motivation as an intervening variable.The independent variables used is compensation, an intervening variable is the motivation and the dependent variable is the performance. The sample used in this study as many as 57 employees of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Branch Semarang Pandanaran using proportional random sampling technique. The data used is primary data by questionnaire. The analysis technique used is the linear regression and test the mediating effect.Based on the results of the analysis can know that compensation and significant positive effect on employee performance. Compensation indirect effect on employee performance through motivation to work, so it can be concluded that the work motivation becomes a variable that mediates between equity compensation on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of organizational culture and organizational support toward organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with organizational commitment as an intervenning variable. The result’s differences among past researches and the upgrade of the law no. 38 of 2009 relating to the postal matter indicate the need to improve the performance and the quality of human resources of PT. Pos Indonesia Semarang.  This study uses two independent variables and one intervenning variable. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of organizational culture and organizational support on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), with organizational commitment as intervening variable.Data collection methods used in this study are questionnaires using census method, with the respondents of all the employees from the delivery section of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Central Processing Unit Semarang, and the statistical analysis by using SPSS. This study uses data analysis methods include validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, path analysis, sobel test, coefficient determination test, F test and t test.The result show that the effect value of organizational culture and organizational support  toward organizational citizenship behavior with organizational commitment as intervening variable equal to  48,64% While 31,16% is explained by the factors out of the variable. From the result of Multiple Regression Analysis analysis of organizational culture and organizational support have a positive impact toward organizational commitment and organizational culture, organizational support and organizational commitment have a positive impact toward organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

Teacher is one of important component to determine the success of education program. Having a very important role to teach, teacher also has a huge responsibility towards the formation of character and morality of the students. Therefore, teachers are required to have expertise, responsibility and the spirit of sacrifice to provide a social service above personal interests. But, amid the many demands and duties of teachers, many problems experienced by teachers, particularly private teachers, especially around issues of welfare and employment status.This study was conducted to identify factors that motivate private teachers in their profession as well as to dig deeper about the hopes and desires of private teachers about their future. Search on the factors that motivate the private teacher starts from the identification of personal characteristics, biography and work values held by private teachers and their perceptions of the profession in which they live. This study uses a qualitative method and data collection was done by interview and observation so as to dig deeper into the facts about the teaching profession. The object of this research is a private teacher who has a service life of more than 2 years who served in Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah in Semarang City.The results showed that motivation of private teacher is influenced by their perception about teaching profession which is formed from the values they hold, personal characteristics and the biography of the informant.
