Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of performance appraisal at the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, SNVT PJPA Pemali-Juana PPK  PAT  and  PPK  PAB. Employee performance appraisal  is  an  attempt  to measure the level of employee productivity. A good performance appraisal will elicit the motivation of its employees, which then creates confidence in management, so as to improve employee productivity.This study only uses performance appraisal as an independent variable. In this research, 50 civil servants involved as a questionnaire of respondents by census method. The data test technique used in this research includes validity test with factor analysis, reliability test, gap, and Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA). IPA is a research method by comparing the level of importance with the level of implementation.The results of this study indicate that the most important assessment process   in   the   implementation   of   performance   appraisal   and   integrity improvement  is  least  important.  Based  on  the  results  of  this  study,  the most important attributes require an increased priority to be done in order to remain competitive. Meanwhile, attributes that are considered less important do not require temporary fixes, if necessary ignored or omitted.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of job stress, role conflict and younger age on turnover intention. Independent variable in this study are job stress and role conflict.Turnover intention as dependent variable and younger age as moderating variable without neglecting older age variable.            Methods of data analysis used in this research is regression analysis and sub-groups analysis.Methods of data collection in this study used a questionnaire with a sample of 80 employees of New Metro Hotel Semarang. The questionnaires were distributed by accidental sampling method or each individual is chosen randomly.            Based on the regression analysis resulted that job stress has positive significant effect on turnover intention,and role conflict has positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Then based on the results of sub-group analysis suggest that the younger age moderate the relationship between job stress and turnover intention.

Abstract

Human resources play an important role in a company since human is the determiner of the company. Company’s success is measured by the performance of employees. High employee performance makes the success of the company is also getting higher. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of job insecurity and compensation satisfaction on turnover intention and the effect on  employee performance.            The population in this study were employees of PDAM Kabupaten Semarang. This study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to a sample of 79 employee using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Mechanical testing data used this study include the path analysis and sobel test to test the effect of mediation.The result showed that job insecurity positive and significant influence to turnover intention, compensation satisfaction negative and significant influence to turnover intention, turnover intention negative and significant influence to employee performance, job insecurity negative and significant influence to employee performance, and compensation satisfaction positive and significant influence to employee performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyzing variable influence situational leadership style, work environment andwork motivation againstemployee performance. This study was conducted at PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk. KCP Bekasi. The number of samples was estabilished by 60 respondents with the sample using methods simple random sampling. Measurement in kuisioner using likert scale. Methods of analysis data is used path analysis with assistance SPSS program version 21 for test influence mediation used Sobel test.            The testing of hypotheses, indicate that situational leadership style variable are positive and significant effect againstemployee performance with regressioncoefficients of 0,314. With the most dominant on employee performance dimension of situational leadership style is delegating 49.6%. Work environment are positive and significant effect against employee performance with regressioncoefficients of 0,222. Positive effect on situational leadership style against employee performance through work motivation by results test indicate t value of 2,60. Positive effect on work environment against employee performance through work motivation by results test indicate t value of 4,57. Results test with Sobel test showed the t value is greater than t table at 5% level is 2.00. The results of path analysis showing that directlyinfluence situational leadership styleagainst employee performance of0,314 and indirect influence through the work motivationof 0,667.Directly influence work environment against employee performance of 0,222 and indirect influence through the work motivation of 0,908.

Abstract

This research is titled “Analysis of the influence of Transformational Leadership, Compensation Satisfaction, and Organizational Commitment on Employee Performance ". The purpose  of  research  is to indentify  and  analyze  whether  organizational  commitment  have  aninfluence on the performance of employees at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV (persero) Medan UnitKebun Pabatu.The population in this study were all employees of kantor MPC PT. Pos Indonesia cabang Semarang. Samples of this study are 66 employees. The hypothesis in this study is the transformational leadership, compensation satisfaction, and organizational commitment has positive and significant on employee performance.The  results  showed  that  there  is  a  positive  and  significant  correlation  betweenTransformational Leadership, Compensation Satisfaction, and Organizational Commitment on Employee Performance in kantor MPC PT. Pos Indonesia cabang Semarang 56,3% means that employees performance variables in this study can be explained by the variable of transformational leadership, compensation satisfaction, and organizational commitment of 56,3 %.

Abstract

Companies nowadays prioritizes employee’s experience in work. This is shown from the employee's productivity that is influenced by the non-physical work environment and the quality of information within the company. Employee productivity is also influenced by the ability to adapt to its work. This study examines the influence of Non Physical Work Environment and the quality of information on employee productivity with adaptive behavior as intervening variable. The method used in this study is to use multiple linear regression to test the direct hypothesis and path analysis to test the indirect influence of the hypothesis tested.The results of this research indicate a significant positive influence between non-physical work environment with adaptive behavior, quality of information with adaptive behavior, adaptive behavior with employee productivity and non-physical work environment with employee productivity, while the quality of information with employee productivity has positive but not significant influence. In conclusion, this research is able to prove the proposed hypothesis.

Abstract

Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is a behavior that needs to be owne d b y c ivil servants. Many ways can be done to improve the Organizational Citizenship Behavior ( O C B) o ne with a financial compensation. Financial compensation were able to improve work discip line a nd motivation  of achievement,  so it can affect the Organizational  Citizenship  Behavior (OCB) employees. The purpose of this study is to describe and analy ze further on the influence of financial compensation on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) with the discipline of work and achievement motivation as an intervening variable.Data  collection  methods  used  in  this study is a questionnaire  with a  sample of 74 employees BNNP Jawa Tengah, which uses a sample of the entire population census or using BNNP Jawa Tengah employees. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression ana lys is . Mechanical testing data used in this study include path analysis and sobel test to test th e e f fec t o f mediation.The results of this study indicate that financial compensation negative a n d s ig nific ant to work discipline and a positive and significant to motivation of achiev eme n t. Th en th e f ina nc ial compensation and work discipline positive and significant impact on Organizationa l C itiz e ns hip Behavior (OCB), while the achievement motivation did not significantly affect to O r ga niz atio nal Citizenship Behavior (OCB). In addition, work discipline and motivation of achiev e me nt c a n n ot mediate the relationship between financial compensation on Organizational Citizenship Be ha vio r (OCB).

Abstract

In the service industry, employee who performs direct contact with consumers is representatives of  organization service quality. PDAM Tirta Moedal as one of organization which prioritize the quality of service, that became the center of water services for the entire community of Semarang City requires employees who provide more performance / extra job-role or so-called OCB behavior in order to be able to serve the people of Semarang city optimally. This research was conducted by indication that OCB level of PDAM Tirta Moedal was still low that reflected by employee attendance, employees attendace is used as indicator that measures on of OCB dimensions which is conscientiousness dimension.The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of perception of organizational support and career development on organizational citizenship behavior with employee engagement role as intervening variable. This research was conducted at PDAM Tirta Moedal Semarang. The sample size was 74 respondents with sampling technique using proportionate stratified random sampling. The analysis used included multiple linear regression analysis, path analysis (Path Analysis) and test of sobel to test mediation effect.The results show a positive and significant relationship between (a) organizational support with employee engagement, (b) career development with employee engagement, (c) organizational support with OCB, (d) career development with OCB, (e) employee engagement with OCB . The results of this study also show that employee engagement proved to be a mediating variable between organizational support and career development towards OCB.

Abstract

The research aims to examine and analyze the influence of leadership anddistributive justice toward job satisfaction of employee in PT. Energi Mega Persada Tbk, Jakarta. Data collected through distribution of questionnaires and it is implemented to 139 employees of PT. Energi Mega Persada Tbk, Jakarta.Analysis of data in this research using the help of SPSS version 20. Asampling technique uses a survey method and data test technique is used within the research includes validity test by factor analysis, reliability test with cronbach. Classic assumption test and double linear regression analysis, to verify and to prove the research hypothesis.Analysis result demonstrates that leadership have a positive influence toward job satisfaction. Distributive justice have a positive influence toward job satisfaction and leadership have a positive influence toward distributive justice.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of leadership quality, work family conflict, and social support to presenteeism with burnout as intervening variable. This research was conducted at Agency of Population and Civil Registration Semarang City, with sample size was 80 employees who have married status with sampling technique using total sampling. The analysis used included multiple linear regression analysis, path analysis and test of sobel to test mediation effect.The results show a positive and significant relationship between: a) leadership quality with presenteeism, b) work family conflict with presenteeism, c) social support with presenteeism, d) leadership quality with burnout, e) work family conflict with burnout, f) social support with burnout, g) burnout with presenteeism. The results of this study also show that burnout proved to be a mediating variable between leadership qualities, work family conflict, and social support for presenteeism.
