Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian tentang pembuatan asam asetat dari limbah cair kulit kopi (coffea arabika. Sp) telah dilakukan. Limbah cair kulit kopi dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menghasilkan asam asetat, dan diharapkan dapat menghasilkan mutu asam asetat yang baik sesuai dengan standar mutu asam asetat dari nira aren (Arenga pinnata) SNI 01-4371-1996. Proses fermentasi dilakukan dalam dua tahapan, tahap pertama adalah fermentasi limbah cair kulit kopi menjadi alkohol secara anaerob, tahap kedua adalah fermentasi alkohol menjadi asam asetat secara aerob. Fermentasi secara aerob dilakukan dengan memvariasikan penambahan bakteri acetobachter aceti dan tanpa penambahan acetobachter aceti, serta variasi waktu yaitu selama 7, 10, dan 15 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa asam asetat yang diperoleh tanpa penambahan bakteri A. Aceti tidak memenuhi standar mutu sedangkan dengan penambahan bakteri A. aceti telah memenuhi standar mutu yaitu: kadar asam asetat: 6,48%, kadar alkohol: 4,35%, TPT: 1,27%, pH: 4 dan cemaran logam (Pb: -0,3116, Cu: -0,7397, Zn: - 0,5623).Keywords: fermentasi, kopi, Acetobachter aceti, SNI 01-4371-1996.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Nitrogen merupakan senyawa pokok dalam industri kimia. Nitrogen merupakan senyawa inert gas sehingga cocok digunakan untuk berbagai aplikasi yang mencakup berbagai aspek pembuatan, pengolahan, penanganan dan pengiriman bahan kimia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh impurities, tekanan dan laju alir udara terhadap kemurnian produk gas nitrogen yang dihasilkan dengan metode Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA), kemudian melakukan komparasi atau perbandingan simulasi data actual lapangan dengan Aspen Adsorption V.10. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, data dalam penelitian ini adalah data operasional lapangan dan teknik pengambilan data dilakukan secara berkala melalui data loogsheet. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan Purity (kemurnian) pada bulan Oktober s/d November 2023 pada tanggal 05 dan 27 oktober yaitu 99,98 %, dengan flow 52,2 Nm3/h, sedangkan untuk bulan November terdapat 98,01 % (purity) dengan flow 105,0 Nm3/h. Dan setelah dilakukan simulasi menggunakan Aspen Adsorption V.10 dan menvariasikan data input didapat Purity sebesar 99,98 %, 99,97 %, 99,91 % dengan flow 100 Nm3/h, 150 Nm3/h, 200 Nm3/h atau 0,4461 kmol/s, 0,6692 kmol/s, 0,8992 kmol/s dalam aplikasi Aspen Adsorption V.10.Kata Kunci : Nitrogen, Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA), Aspen Adsorption, Carbon Molecular Sieve (CMS)

Abstract

Islamic boarding school is a unit of educational institution that have functions as a Islamic education. This program partner is Pondok Pesantren Al-Ishlah Bandar Kidul at Kediri City. This Islamic boarding school has hundreds of students from various regions in Indonesia and has several activity areas such as halls, classrooms, canteen, beds, ablution places, and bathrooms. These places are public places that are touched by many people. Therefore, in order to avoid accidents and occupational diseases, it is necessary to map the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) before the students begin their activities. In this program, the students were given training on K3 and made mind mapping in the boarding school environment. It aims to make the students aware of and understand the importance of implementing K3 in their daily life. In addition, this program aims to prevent the transmission of Covid-19. The steps for implementing this community service program are observation, formulation of priority problems, training design, training, and evaluation. The results obtained from this program are that students understand K3 well and able to implementation of K3 through mind mapping.

Abstract

This study aims to examine students’ mathematical understanding in solving mathematical problems viewed from their levels of mathematical anxiety. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach and was conducted at MI Attaqwa 26 Bekasi with 33 fifth-grade (VA) students as research subjects. The instruments used in this study consisted of a mathematical anxiety questionnaire to categorize students’ anxiety levels, a geometry problem-solving test to assess students’ mathematical understanding, and semi-structured interviews to explore students’ reasoning processes in depth. Data were collected through questionnaires, written tests, and interviews, and were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that students with high mathematical anxiety were still able to demonstrate good mathematical understanding, as they could correctly interpret mathematical concepts and symbols, connect mathematical concepts to construct meaningful knowledge, explain mathematical ideas in their own words, apply concepts to new problem situations, and draw conclusions as well as generalize mathematical principles to solve various types of geometry problems. These findings suggest that high mathematical anxiety does not necessarily impede students’ mathematical understanding in problem-solving activities.

Abstract

Sampah menjadi permasalahan serius masyarakat, dan sampah yang dihasilkan didominasi oleh sampah organik. Di Desa Cimuja Dusun Pasanggrahan, sebagian warga masih membuang sampah ke sungai atau membakarnya di lahan terbuka sehingga menimbulkan pencemaran. Melalui program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Muhammadiyah Bandung, kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat serta mengimplementasikan teknologi Lubang Resapan Biopori (LRB) sebagai solusi pengelolaan sampah organik. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, diskusi partisipatif, pemutaran media edukatif, serta praktik langsung pembuatan LRB. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman warga mengenai dampak sampah organik dan manfaat biopori. Sebagai percontohan, dua lubang resapan berhasil dibuat dengan partisipasi aktif masyarakat. Program ini tidak hanya mengurangi timbulan sampah organik, tetapi juga menghasilkan kompos yang bermanfaat. Dengan demikian, penerapan LRB melalui KKN dapat menjadi model pemberdayaan masyarakat yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Halaqoh is a learning system that has an important role to play in the development of academic and spiritual competence in the darul fiqhi boarding house. In the abstract, it will be discussed the significance, methods, and results of the implementation of halaqoh in the boarding school. Halaqoh is a religious discussion forum that is held regularly in boarding schools, where santri gathers to discuss religious issues, to understand religious texts, and to explore spiritual values. These methods of learning enable santri to interact directly with educators and fellow santri, facilitate a deep understanding of islamic doctrine, and promote moral and ethical values. The implementation of halaqoh has had a positive impact on the development of academic and spiritual competence in the darul fiqhi boarding house. Santri became more adept at learning religious teachings, improved in speaking and discussion skills, and integrated religious values into everyday life. The result was that santri not only excelled in academic aspects, but also had strong spiritual depth. In the context of islamic education, halaqoh in the darul fiqhi boarding house became a successful model of blending academic and spiritual education. It provides a solid foundation for santri to be a competent and ethical leader in society, and it makes the boarding school an educational institution that contributes to the formation of a faithful and knowledgeable generation.
