Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is a strategic initiative that aims to improvethe nutritional quality and learning motivation of students in Indonesia. The programis based on data showing that 41% of students in Indonesia experience hunger whilestudying, which negatively impacts their concentration and academic performance.The MBG not only targets school children, but has also been expanded to includetoddlers, pregnant women, and nursing mothers. The government has allocated abudget of IDR71 trillion in the 2025 Draft State Budget for the initial phase of thisprogram, which is planned to begin on January 2, 2025. Interest is a tendency orgreat desire for something, evidenced through giving attention to the subject ofinterest. The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is one of the flagship initiativeslaunched by President Prabowo Subianto's administration. The main objective ofthe program is to address nutrition issues as well as improve the quality of humanresources in Indonesia, with a special focus on children and pregnant women. It isalso a school meal distribution plan that is expected to provide equity in educationas all students have the opportunity to eat nutritious meals for free. Since itsannouncement, the implementation plan of this program has undergone variousdevelopments. Of course, this will later have an impact on student learningoutcomes. Abstract

Pembentukan karakter sangat ditekankan dalam pendidikan di Indonesia, termasuk pembentukan sikap peduli sosial. Permasalahan yang masih ditemukan di sekolah dasar yaitu rendahnya sikap peduli sosial siswa. Hal tersebut dapat memberikan dampak buruk dalam kehidupan sosial siswa, sehingga sangat penting menanamkan sikap peduli sosial siswa salah satunya melalui ekstrakurikuler pramuka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sikap peduli sosial siswa kelas V SD dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka di SDN Pegangsaan Dua 06 Pagi. Pada penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan yang dilakukan di dalam ekstrakurikuler pramuka dapat membentuk sikap peduli sosial siswa kelas V di SDN Pegangsaan Dua 06 Pagi, salah satunya melalui kegiatan membuat miniatur tandu. Penanaman sikap peduli sosial siswa dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor penghambat seperti keterbatasan pelatih pramuka dan fasilitas di sekolah. Faktor pendukung yang menunjang penanaman sikap peduli sosial siswa diantaranya yaitu tingginya partisipasi siswa dan dukungan dari warga sekolah.

Abstract

Current learning requires interactive media for students to improve social skills. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an increase in students' social skills in the experimental class that participated in learning using the Khan Academy Kids application compared to the control class. This study used a quantitative design with an experimental approach. The study was conducted using two groups, namely the experimental group that used the Khan Academy Kids application and the control group that followed conventional learning. The subjects of this study were 60 3rd grade elementary school students at SDN Sunter Jaya 07 Jakarta. They were divided into two groups: one experimental group that used Khan Academy Kids and one control group. There was a significant increase in students' social skills in the experimental class that participated in learning using the Khan Academy Kids application, compared to students in the control class that followed conventional learning. This increase was seen from the results of the average pre-test and post-test scores, Experimental Class: from 58.2 to 78.6 while Control Class: from 56.5 to 70.3. Aspects of social skills that experienced improvement included communication, cooperation, empathy and self-control.

Abstract

Kualitas gula dipengaruhi oleh proses produksi terutama di pemurnian nira. Standar kelayakan mutu gula di Indonesia diatur dalam Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) 3140.3:2010. Melalui standar tersebut, pemerintah berupaya untuk melakukan pengawasan produk gula yang beredar di pasaran layak untuk dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat. Salah satu parameter untuk menentukan kualitas gula berdasarkan SNI 3140.3:2010 adalah turbidity. Nilai turbidity menunjukkan tingkat kekeruhan pada nira yang dapat diartikan bahwa semakin rendah nilai turbidity (< 100 SiO2) maka semakin jernih nira yang dihasilkan. Tujuan dari analisis ini untuk mengetahui suhu dan pH nira encer yang optimal di Door Clarifier. Analisis turbidity nira encer dilakukan dengan menggunakan Spectrophotometry. Variabel uji yang digunakan dalam analisis turbidity antara lain suhu dan pH. Suhu nira encer di Door Clarifier berturut-turut 89°C, 90°C, 91,6°C, 92°C, 94°C, dan 94,8°C, pH nira encer pada defekator berturut-turut 8,82, 8,9, 8,98, 9,03, dan 9,08. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ini, dihasilkan suhu optimal nira encer di Door Clarifier sebesar 94,8°C dan pH nira encer di defekator sebesar 9,08 dengan nilai turbidity 71,2316 SiO2.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan besar dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam meningkatkan literasi siswa sekolah dasar yang saat ini masih menjadi masalah utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Media komik digital muncul sebagai solusi inovatif karena mampu memvisualisasikan narasi yang mudah dipahami, dan interaktivit yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa usia dini. Di sisi lain, model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) terbukti efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan membaca dan menulis melalui kegiatan kolaboratif yang terstruktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas integrasi media komik digital berbasis model CIRC dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode Systematic Literature Review terhadap artikel terpublikasi tahun 2020–2025 yang relevan dengan topik tersebut. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi komik digital dan CIRC secara konsisten meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman, berpikir kritis, kemandirian belajar, serta minat dan motivasi siswa. Kesimpulannya, integrasi komik digital dengan model CIRC merupakan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif, kontekstual, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan generasi digital saat ini, serta layak diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran literasi di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Background. Children with intellectual disabilities generally experience impairments in motor skills, movement coordination, physical health, and environmental awareness. Therefore, effective play-based therapy to improve motor impairments in children with intellectual disabilities is highly needed. Objectives. This study aims to examine the effect of a running and jumping game model in improving motor impairments in children with intellectual disabilities. Methods. This study used a pre-experimental design involving male children with intellectual disabilities aged 11"“12 years as research subjects. The running and jumping game model was implemented for 30 minutes per session, three times a week, over a period of four weeks. Data were collected by measuring motor development indicators, specifically running speed and jump height, before and after the intervention using a 40-meter sprint test and a vertical jump test. Data were analyzed using the paired sample t-test with a 5% significance level. Results. The results showed a significant improvement in running speed between the pretest and posttest (8.98 ±0.07 vs. 7.66 ±0.09 seconds; p=0.001). Similarly, there was a significant difference in jump height between the pretest and posttest (21.57 ±0.98 vs. 31.43 ±1.72 cm; p=0.001). These findings indicate that the running and jumping game model is effective in improving motor impairments in children with intellectual disabilities. Conclusion. Based on the results, it can be concluded that implementing the running and jumping game model three times a week for four weeks is effective in improving motor impairments in children with intellectual disabilities. This study contributes to the development of physical activity-based interventions as an alternative approach to enhancing motor skills in children with intellectual disabilities in special education settings.

Abstract

The primary objectives of this study were threefold: firstly, to assess the impact of the Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) learning model on the academic performance of Islamic Education (Islamic Cultural History) students at MIN 2 Pemalang; secondly, to analyze the influence of learning motivation on the academic achievement of Islamic Cultural History students at MIN 2 Pemalang; and finally, to investigate the combined effect of the HOTS learning model and learning motivation on the academic performance of Islamic Cultural History students at MIN 2 Pemalang. This research adopts a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The study's population consists of students from both class V.B and class V at MIN 2 Pemalang during the academic year 2019/2020. Data collection involves the use of a questionnaire instrument to gauge learning motivation and student test results to measure academic achievement. The gathered data is subjected to statistical analysis, including calculating the mean correlation, using SPSS 21.0 software, and employing a t-test with a predetermined significance level. The study's findings are as follows: 1) The HOTS learning model significantly influences the academic achievement of Islamic Cultural History. 2) Learning motivation significantly impacts the academic performance of Islamic Cultural History. 3) The combined effect of the HOTS learning model and learning motivation significantly influences the academic achievement of Islamic Cultural History.

Abstract

Deep learning didefinisikan sebagai suatu pendekatan yang menekankan pada pemahaman konseptual dan penerapan pengetahuan secara kritis. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bantuan secara teoretis maupun fungsional dalam mengembangkan pendekatan deep learning yang sesuai dengan konteks sekolah dasar, khususnya di SD Utung Jawa 01, Kepulauan Seribu. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan bentuk kegiatan pendampingan berupa pelatihan dan lokakarya. Program pelatihan ini dilaksanakan melalui lima tahap: Perencanaan, Pengorganisasian, Penggerakan, Pengendalian, dan Evaluasi (POACE) dengan melibatkan masyarakat sebagai mitra yang turut serta dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam seluruh kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan deep learning memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemahaman guru. Pendekatan ini mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa melalui berbagai aktivitas interaktif seperti simulasi dan eksperimen, sehingga proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna dan menyenangkan. Namun, penerapan metode ini juga menghadapi beberapa tantangan, seperti keterbatasan waktu untuk menyelesaikan kurikulum serta akses teknologi yang tidak merata di kalangan siswa.

Abstract

T This study aims to describe the strategies used by teachers in overcoming spelling errors in low-grade elementary school students. Spelling problems are one of the common difficulties for low-grade students, such as errors in the use of capital letters, punctuation marks, spacing between words, and the writing of absorbed elements. This study used a descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation of low-grade teachers in several elementary schools. Data analysis was conducted through the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that spelling errors that often occur include: improper placement of capital letters, inconsistent spacing, incorrect use of punctuation marks, and word writing errors. To overcome these problems, teachers apply several strategies, such as providing additional study time, giving more attention to students who are having difficulty, correcting errors directly with feedback, and collaborating with parents to accompany children when studying at home. This study emphasizes the importance of teachers' active role and parents' support in improving students' basic literacy skills early on, so that errors in writing do not become sustainable habits at the next level of education.

Abstract

Although the Durand-Kerner method is widely used across various fields of computer science, especially in numerical computing, it continues to encounter challenges in locating roots of high-degree polynomials, such as issues with accuracies of roots of the polynomial zeros. Our initial tests and observations on several methods for finding polynomial roots revealed that the roots' accuracy starts to degrade noticeably for polynomials where the degree exceeds 10. Based on considerations of algebraic concepts involving polynomial vector spaces, we introduce an improvement of the Durand-Kerner algorithm aimed at improving root precision. This approach includes targeted refinements in coefficient evaluation, identification of root types, and iterative polishing techniques. We also conducted a comparative evaluation to assess its effectiveness against the original Durand Kerner method and MATLAB's roots() function. Overall, the enhanced algorithm delivers superior accuracy for complex roots—particularly in cases involving multiple zero or integer roots—outperforming both benchmarks, but its execution time increases substantially with polynomial degree.
