Abstract

ABSTRAKPenggunaan benih padi unggul bersertifikat merupakan salah satu usaha intensifikasi pertanian untuk meningkatkan hasil produksi tanaman padi, pada kenyataannya persentase petani dalam menggunakan benih padi unggul bersertifikat masih tergolong rendah. Penelitan ini bertujuan melihat persepsi petani dan hubungan karakteristik petani terhadap benih padi unggul bersertifikat. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriftif. Teknik pelaksanaan penelitian menggunakan teknik survei. Penentuan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Sungai Kakap Kecamatan Sungai Kakap Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Sampel yang diperoleh dari teknik berstrata secara proposional berjumlah 92 responden. Analisis persepsi terdiri dari (1) keuntungan relatif, (2) kesesuaian, (3) kerumitan, (4) kemungkinan dicoba dan (5) kemungkinan diamati. Menggunakan skala likert untuk mengetahui kategori persepsi. Untuk mengetahui karakteristik dihitung menggunakan rank spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Persepsi petani terhadap benih padi unggul bersertifikat adalah baik. faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi adalah tingkat keuntungan relatif,  kemungkinan dicoba dan kemungkinan diamati. Penggunaan benih unggul bersertifikat akan berimbas pada kenaikan produksi padi dan pendapatan petani. Adapun hubungan yang berkorelasi dengan persepsi petani menggunakan benih unggul bersertifikat adalah variabel umur dan pengalaman bertani.Kata Kunci : Pesepsi, Benih Bersertifikat, Padi

Abstract

JANUARTI, Kontribusi Pendapatan Usaha Kerajinan Tangan Berbahan Baku Bambu Terhadap Pendapatan Keluarga di Desa Parit Raja Kecamatan Sejangkung Kabupaten Sambas, dibawah bimbingan Dr. Ir. Erlinda Yurinsinthae, MP. selaku dosen pembimbing pertama dan Ir. Adi Suyatno, MP. selaku dosen pembimbing kedua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendapatan usaha kerajinan tangan berbahan baku bambu, serta untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi pendapatan usaha kerajinan tangan tersebut terhadap pendapatan keluarga pengrajin di Desa Parit Raja Kecamatan Sejangkung Kabupaten Sambas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Lokasi penelitian dipilih secara sengaja (purposive), yaitu di Desa Parit Raja Kecamatan Sejangkung Kabupaten Sambas. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 38 responden (50% dari populasi) dengan menggunakan metode acak sederhana (simple random sampling). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : pendapatan rata-rata dari usaha kerajinan tangan berbahan baku bambu yaitu berupa caping bambu sebesar Rp 3.494.368/thn. Total pendapatan yang diperoleh dari usaha kerajinan caping bambu, usahatani padi dan usahatani karet sebesar Rp 19.056.530/thn. Kontribusi usaha kerajinan caping bambu terhadap pendapatan keluarga sebesar 18,35%. Kata kunci : kontribusi, pendapatan keluarga

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in the average abnormal return, the average trading volume of activity, and the average bid-ask spread on the stock of oil palm companies in Indonesia before and after the announcement of New Normal in Indonesia and the opening of lockdown in the country export destination. In this study, three countries were taken by the Netherlands, Malaysia, and Singapore. 13 companies sampled in this study are determined using purposive sampling techniques. The data used in this study are secondary data accessed by researchers through the Yahoo Finance website and the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The variables used in this study are abnormal returns, trading volume activities, and bid-ask spreads. The testing carried out in this study used a paired t-test and tested Wilcoxon test. The results of this study indicate: (1) The results of statistical testing on the average abnormal return during the event, there is a difference in the normal new event in Indonesia, the opening of lockdown in the Netherlands and Singapore. The average value of the abnormal return is positive, so it can be concluded that this event is categorized as good news. (2) The results of statistical testing on the average trading volume activity during the event show a difference in the opening of the lockdown in Malaysia. (3) The results of testing at the average bid-ask spread during the event show a difference in the opening of the lockdown in Malaysia. Abstract

Pepper farmers' income is often influenced by various factors, both socio-economic and production costs. The aim of this research is to analyze the correlation between farmers' socio-economic characteristics and production costs on pepper (Piper nigrum L) with farming income. The data analysis method used is Spearman Rank Correlation and descriptive data scaling techniques. The research findings show that, regarding farmers' socio-economic characteristics, the factor that has a strong relationship with pepper farming income is age, while education and experience have a moderate relationship. Land area and dependents, on the other hand, show a weak relationship. In terms of production costs, the factor that has a strong relationship is fertilizer expenses, the factor with a moderate relationship is chemicals, while labor, depreciation, and taxes do not show a significant relationship.

Abstract

Financial literacy helps independent smallholders make better financial decisions, while individual characteristics such as age, education, and experience affect financial literacy, which can improve the economic welfare of independent smallholders. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the relationship between farming characteristics and the level of financial literacy in independent oil palm farmers. This study used a quantitative descriptive method. Primary and secondary data sources were analyzed using the Spearman rank test. The analysis results showed that education and land area had a significant positive relationship with the financial literacy of independent oil palm farmers, while age and farming experience had a significant negative relationship. Gender and number of dependents showed a weak and insignificant relationship. Education and larger land area tended to increase financial literacy, while age and experience did the opposite.

Abstract

Emerging entrepreneurial interest in Vocational High School students is seen as strategic to prepare future generations who are productive and characterized and able to work in industry, continue their studies, or become creative entrepreneurs. Vocational students who will be entrepreneurs are required to understand financial literacy to have the ability and competence to manage business finances. This community service activity aims to provide training in preparing business plans for students of SMKN 1 Rasau Jaya Rasau Jaya District, Kubu Raya Regency. The implementation of community service follows the preparation, socialization, technology dissemination, evaluation, and reporting stages. The activity of community service was carried out from April to October 2023. In addition to implementing activities, the results of data analysis obtained that 11th-grade students of SMKN 1 Rasau Jaya are interested in entrepreneurs in agriculture and developing agribusiness in Rasau Jaya District. Teachers can encourage interest in entrepreneurship in agriculture among SMKN 1 Rasau Jaya students by inviting successful agribusiness entrepreneurs to disseminate their experiences and motivate students, facilitating students to access resources and funding, and providing students with opportunities for training, demonstrations, and hands-on practice at successful companies/entrepreneurs, collaborating with stakeholders for students to participate in agribusiness competitions and receive recognition for students' innovative ideas, and strengthening the entrepreneurship learning curriculum.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the satisfaction level of plasma oil palm farmers by assessing the attributes of the partnership model and to examine the factors influencing the satisfaction level of plasma oil palm farmers with the partnership model of PT. Palma Megah Mulia in Desa Jelimpo, Kecamatan Kersik Belantian. The sample in this study consisted of 42 respondents. This research was conducted using quantitative data. The tool used for analysis is the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method, which is utilized to analyze the satisfaction level of plasma oil palm farmers by evaluating the partnership model attributes. Additionally, Multiple Linear Regression analysis was performed to identify the factors affecting the satisfaction level of plasma farmers with the partnership model. The results showed that the satisfaction level of farmers using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) analysis was 86.67%, indicating that plasma oil palm farmers are highly satisfied with the partnership model of PT. Palma Megah Mulia. There is a significant influence of the satisfaction level of plasma oil palm farmers on the variables of age, education level, frequency of socialization, and land area on the partnership model of PT. Palma Megah Mulia. Based on the findings of the research, it is recommended that the Company increase socialization activities so that the understanding of plasma farmers about partnership patterns is better.

Abstract

The productivity of sweet corn in Kubu Raya Regency is still low even though sweet corn is one of the most profitable cultivation groups. This research aims to analyze the influence of age, education, experience and family support on swet corn productivity. This research was conducted from February to June 2024. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 100 sweet corn farmers in Rasau Jaya Satu Village and Rasau Jaya Dua Village, Rasau Jaya District, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan Province. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews and filling out questionnaires directly. Testing research instruments uses validity and reliability tests. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis by testing classical assumptions first with SPSS version 23 software. The results of the research show that the four variables, namely age, education, experience and family dependents, have an effect on sweet corn productivity. Experience in farming sweet corn has a positive effect because experience will make farmers understand the environmental conditions where they are farming and know the problems and be able to find solutions when carrying out farming activities. The longer someone does their job, the more skilled, diligent, painstaking and qualified they will be. There is a need to improve skills and strategies for allocating time working outside the agricultural sector and continuing to work side jobs in the agricultural sector so that productivity can increase with more efficient time.

Abstract

Pendirian BUMDes oleh pemerintah merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mewujudkan desa mandiri dan mengelola perekonomian desanya. Hal ini tertuang dalam Pasal 117 Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2020 tentang Cipta Kerja yang menyatakan bahwa pengelolaan desa sebagai suatu badan hukum yang didirikan oleh dan/atau bersama-sama dengan desa untuk keperluan pemanfaatan aset dan pengembangan penanaman modal perusahaan (BUMDes).Memberikan produktivitas dan jasa serta jenis usaha lainnya untuk kepentingan masyarakat desa. Aspek penting yang harus diperhatikan oleh pemerintah desa dan BUMDes dalam menciptakan layanan BUMDes yang berkualitas adalah penerapan prinsip tata kelola yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh prinsip legitimasi (rule of law), partisipasi, akuntabilitas, dan transparansi terhadap pengelolaan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) Tanjung Intan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa BUMDes Tanjung Intan belum maksimal dalam mencapai tata kelola yang baik. Berdasarkan tingkat perkembangannya, BUMDes Tanjung Intan termasuk dalam kategori BUMDes berkembang. Hal ini ditandai dengan karena sifat operasional yang dilakukan oleh BUMDes, potensi pertanian di desa masih dieksploitasi secara terbatas

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors affecting consumer demand for bulk cooking oil at Pasar Flamboyan in Pontianak City. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, data is analyzed through a multiple linear regression model. Data collected are sourced from both primary and secondary information, with the research location purposively chosen as Pasar Flamboyan in Pontianak City. Findings from this study indicate that the price of bulk cooking oil, the price of packaged cooking oil, income, and family size have a positive impact simultaneously on the desire to purchase bulk cooking oil at the research site. However, when analyzed partially, only the price of bulk cooking oil, the price of packaged cooking oil, and family size significantly influence the purchase decision, while income does not show an effect on the demand for bulk cooking oil at Pasar Flamboyan in Pontianak City.
